Pleasant, relaxed flight. I had 2 seats to myself, which was a bonus. I couldn't find a flight tracker ap so I could know where we were but that's a minor complaint. On the plus side, the passenger announcements did not come through my earphones but were on main speakers only. That was a nice touch.
Flight delayed by 3 hours 45 mins and no explanation given or apology. Rebooked on a flight departing to final destination 48 hrs later and baggage not delivered.

Poor communication: Flight come directly to kigali , didn’t come via mumbasa. Favouring to Rwandan passenger to move from economic to bussiness class after flight depart. The following is a review for a flight from Johannesburg to Washington, DC with a connection at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and refueling landing at Rome, Italy. The flight was provided by Ethiopian Airlines. There were two of us: me and my wife on this flight. Everything was on time. Enough legroom between the seats, I was able to stretch my legs and sleep for at least some time during the 14 hour second flight (19 hours in total for both flights). Very decent meals that included two lunches and one breakfast on the flight from Addis Ababa to Washington and one lunch on the flight from Johannesburg to Addis Ababa. The lunch choices were beef, chicken and fish, I think the vegetarian option was available as well, accompanied with beans. The breakfast was a choice between egg and pancake, accompanied with a fruit salad. The egg breakfast was awesome, it came with a scrambled egg and a sausage. However, my wife mentioned unusual taste of the pancake breakfast meal, by all means those were not pancakes. What wasn't good: Externally initiated commercials on the infosystem screens, you couldn't turn the screen off. These commercials were accompanied by loud and annoying music, transmitted through the entire cabin. Obviously, there was no escape from this music as well. Additional moment: on the flight from Addis Ababa to Washington, DC, we landed at Rome for refueling. This was totally fine and it was in the flight itinerary. But, the flight attendant asked me to straighten the seat while we were at the steady position during the refueling. I can't rationalize this order except that some people just like to be a boss of some kind. Keeping the light lit in the economy cabin while keeping it dimmed in the first class also didn't improve my and my wife's feelings. Overall, the services were very good and the flight, despite its longevity, went on very smoothly.
Checking in wasn't organized, too many so-called diplomats were jumping line while everyone was waiting in line. They should have their own line not to impede on other passengers that was also waiting to be served. We all paid money and there should be no discrimination because everyone's money should have the same value diplomat or not! If they want to give diplomats some special treatment then let them create their own check in desk and not treat other passengers some that are (elderly, some with children, pregnant women) making them stand longer in line than necessary just because people are jumping line 😡
The flight is packed and it feels like the space per individual has gotten smaller. Excruciating for a 14hr flight.
Food was really not appealing. There was a blocked sink in the toilet. Toilet is cramped and the wall between the 2 toilets are not secured properly.
Plane was late with no information or announcement … had to walk up n downstairs.., had not communicated this … and ppl had suitcase to carry .
The food needs to improve especially the fish as there where only 3 fish cubes in my plate.

It is just ok, the sits are very uncomfortable, the temperature too low and there weren’t blankets. The food is mediocre and there are no screens to watch movies.
I've never been served three bread courses in a single meal before. Was really impressed by the novelty of that.

A child was loud throughout which made the trip less than optimal. Crew was great and professional. They need to change the automatic seat belt announcement which is too loud and had other unneeded words like "this is XYZ announcement number one'

Flying portion was fine. Below average comfort. We had 2 canceled flights and got stuck in 2 cities which took us 3 days to get home. Kenya hasn’t done anything or even reached out to us after complaining.
Terrible. 6 hours late and zero urgency after the fact. Took over an hour to board and then an hour plus on the runway.

Uganda Airlines notified me less than 24 hours before departure that my early evening flight from JRO to EBB had been moved five hours later into the middle of the night. That was an unacceptable change, putting me in the position of having to find a last minute flight on another carrier, at a high price, to get me where I needed to go. They did not offer refunds, did not offer rebooking options. When I contacted them to cancel my flight and refund, they told me I had to do that through kayak. The phone number listed for customer service was incorrect. There was no way to contact or chat with an actual person. Even online they would not allow me to cancel the flight, only modify it to another time. Their customer care was completely worthless. I would urge you to never fly them, and I will never fly them again. Kayak was also unhelpful. They said I had to deal with the airline for refunds. So neither kayak nor Uganda Airlines have been helpful to me. I have lost the money paid for the original fare. I had to rebook on my own to get an acceptable timetable. I would also urge you not to book through a third-party like kayak because kayak and the airline blame each other. This was a completely awful experience.
The agent you recommended is a big scam. I missed my flight. It’s either you are colluding with your agents to sabotage clients or something is terribly wrong. In overall would give zero ratings.

I like that they provided food during the long layover in Entebbe, other than that, they delayed, they changed the time twice, the flight from Entebbe to Burundi was very uncomfortable, my neck and back were killing me, it felt worse than travelling by road. They should improve on the layover hours, and make the flights sit comfortably.
