Food Free wifi could be better. Its a very long flight and not a cheap flight. Free wifi is good to have. After paying $2k on economy free wifi should be part of the flight ticket cost.

Cons: "I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Cons: "When flying from New Zealand to Doha, we departed Auckland at 15h25 and due to the time zone, most passengers body clocks would have been expecting sleep within a few hours. However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

Pros: "I was stopped at gate check in and taken to one side as passport security had reported that I was intoxicated. I was badly injured in the armed forces and have lost my hearing which affects my balance. I asked for an aisle seat as I'm a big guy as s personal trainer. But was given seat E. Next to a huge obese guy. He slept whole journey, must of had nightmares and jumped and banged me repeatadly. I had the first meal, which was not great but edible. I couldn't eat it properly as I couldn't move my left arm due to the blob Sat next to me. I asked the stewardess to wake me at the meal times so I could get more food. She didn't. Not once. I couldn't even get out the seat to go toilet or get any of the help yourself stuff outside the toilets due to the fat blob I was put next too. Totally disgusted with the whole flight and crew when everytime I've used the same company before it was excellent."

There was a two hour delay that wasn’t acknowledged or addressed. The seats recline button was just an empty hole so it wouldn’t recline. The food was low quality even for airline food. They also didn’t let people trying to make connecting flights de-plane first even though we were significantly delayed. Very disappointing flight on an airline who seems to have given up.

Cons: "Advising passengers in a timely fashion about weather delays. Left for air post @ 3:15 for a 5:58 flight. When I got to Newark I discovered my flight was delayed. Left the party early, which was reason for trip to sit in airport for hours. I generally fly Jet Blue & I definitely will stay with that airline. Second experience & last one with United. Paid $25 extra for a roomier seat which I never have to do with Jet Blue."
