It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

Travelling from Nigeria was a nightmare. Those thugs at the airport gave my husband and i hell because we had our boarding passes on our phone. We had to keep bribing and begging them to let us through. It is the worse travel experience I’ve ever ever had in my entire life. And I travel a lot

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Poor connection and alternate accommodations by British Airways. Staff extremely rude at London. Poor directions for ground connections and missed flights. A 20 hour flight journey with two flights ended up in 40 hour journey with extra stops and long layovers. The delays were largely due to BA inefficiency.

I reviewed this flight poorly as my previous flight to get me to this connection was cancelled with no suitable option to get on this one. I was left stranded in Dublin airport for two days.

BA can be a bit frustrating especially dealing with seating fees that can be double charged if they decide to switch aircraft type. Another annoyance is the stress of trying to get from one terminal to a different terminal at London Heathrow. Our last trip we decided to fly Business Class and it was great. Comfort, food, drinks were all very good but what really makes the experience excellent is the BA staff. The stewards and stewardesses are extremely cheerful, helpful, and patient. No doubt BA has put an emphasis on a positive customer experience and it shows.

Anyways on time and excellent service

Considering I cancelled the flight 2 months ago -- I would have to say the communication was poor -- since I continue to received updates. I say poor since Kayak seems not to want to respond to me to reschedule a flight -- they hold my voucher -- so I can not do it on my own --

There was no flight. Flights got cancelled. Kayak or British never informed us. I had to call so many times and wait hours to get to talk to someone. Made my vacation pretty bad. I still havent heard from anybody. No apologies, nothing. Just horrible!

I offered to put it up during meal times to make sure they had enough space but that wasn't good enough. The crew knew what was happening and tried to get the other passenger to stop but the passenger persisted. The crew refused to upgrade me even though I had paid for an aisle seat and there were no other aisle seats available for me to move to. I find this service unacceptable. I probably won't be willing to fly BA again as they obviously care more about money than ensuring their customers are comfortable."

I sat in 1B, next to a very nice young lady and "influencer". We enjoyed TWO glasses of wine for the first TWO AND A HAL HOURS of the flight between San Jose and Newark. After the middle of the flight, the male flight attendant did not acknowledge our request for just another glass of wine and IMPOSED water. I am 58 years old, and the lady is 40 years old. We paid FIRST CLASS SEATS and the perks that include them. We were treated like DRUNKS OR ALCOHOLICS BY THIS PERSON, WE BOTH FELT EXTREMELY INSULTED.

Seats on my United Economy flight were very cramped for leg room as a taller person. Also no charging outlets provided.

I can normally sleep on any flight but this was like sitting in a tiny cage designed to prevent me from finding any remotely comfortable position or getting any rest at all. They should not be allowed to sell a seat like this."

Cons: "Where should I begin? Incoming flight was late, so UA 1560 was delayed. After boarding, IFE was not working. Crew could not get it to work. Snack options were NON-existent for a 5-hour flight. Upon arriving at Newark, the gate was not available. Come on United this is your hub. Final straw, the baggage took about 50 to 60 minutes to arrive."
Pros: "The pilot and crew were friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The flight had a THIRTEEN hour delay. The plane was very old and broken (we couldn’t fly because of a broken fuel gauge)."

Cons: "Bedlam at gate. Three overwhelmed employees trying to kick people off the plane. So many seats on this plane that there's no legroom, but also it makes the plane so heavy that it can't take off safely unless conditions are ideal. THIS IS A REAL THING THAT REALLY HAPPENED. We left 2.5 hours late due to "weather" (not because there are too many goddamn seats on the plane.) Then, before landing, we were asked to stay in our seats so people who are late for connections can get off first. Seems reasonable. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A GATE FOR US WHEN WE LANDED! The captain said 20 minutes til we can get a gate, but he'll try to get it sooner. He apparently didn't succeed, because it was 45 minutes (!!) before we got to the gate! As a result, 3 hours 15 minutes late. Officially this is "due to weather." Sure."
Pros: "Staff was VERY KIND and helpfull"
Cons: "They only had ONE warm food choice (mozzarella turkey sandwich) and none Gluten Free option. When traveling in a 5hour flight at 7am you expect to at least be able to pay for a decent breakfast..... wasn’t my chance or my 3kids. Very dissapointed"
Pros: "The cabin crew was very professional, efficient, and kind. The plane was in good condition and my seats were comfortable enough."
Cons: "The only food or entertainment offered besides a cookie or advertisement for the airline magazine had to be purchased despite the fact that it was an international plan more than 4 hours long."

Cons: "First we boarded and the plane was cools and i am traveling with my mom who is 76 and a little frail, we ask for a blanket and the response was there no blankets in economy, with a condescending tone. Unnecessary and mean"

Cons: "I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home."
Pros: "At least I made it back home in one day. The airline honored our business ageeement."
Cons: "I waited for a wheele chair that was requested from day one, but the wheeled chair never arrived. I had to venture out on foot despite my resent back surgery. It took me tree times more the time that usually takes me to make it to my destination. I only thank God for protecting me through this day."

Cons: "Both flights were INCREDIBLY delayed. First, the flight from San Jose was delayed 1.5 hours because they were "waiting for the aircraft." After everybody finally boarded the plane an announcement was made that somehow the luggage crew had damaged the cargo hold, and that everybody would have to deplane. It would take 45 minutes for maintenance crew to arrive to assess the situation. People got up, got their luggage out of the overhead bins, and started moving to the front of the plane. The pilot then came back on the intercom and told everyone they would have to return to their seats. Roughly an hour later we finally took off. It would have been the decent thing to do to AT LEAST offer the passengers something (i.e. comp drinks or snacks), but the cheapskates at United DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. Multiple people missed their connections. Fast forward to IAH--> SAT. Another late flight. This time, everybody boarded the plane only to be informed that due to a problem with the plane's computer everybody would have to sit on the plane while they "rebooted" its computers. This was done TWICE. UNITED AIRLINES, GET IT TOGETHER. There is a very good reason you are consistently ranked one of the WORST US-flagged carriers, which makes you one of the MOST HATED AIRLINES ON THE PLANET. I really and truly pray that the US airlines and their lobbyists lose their battle to prevent foreign flagged carriers from operating within the US, because you all deserve to go bankrupt."
Pros: "SJO to Houston was excellent. Houston to Nashville was mediocre."

Cons: "The service, entertainment, boarding, comfort, and crew haven't changed at all ever since I've flown with united. The crew just seemed to be there to get their pay checks not serve the customers."

Cons: "Best flight to Costa Rica out of the tristate area."
Cons: "Having to pay $7.99 for entertainment is ridiculous, especially on an international flight. Just one more way to gouge customers. Especially as a 1K flyer, having to pay for entertainment is just a slap in the face."
Pros: "I've taken a number of airlines, but none as bad as United. I get bad weather, I wouldn't want to go up in a plane in a thunderstorm regardless of the circumstances....but I spent almost a day getting to my destination that should of only taken9 hours tops. Delay upon delay, arriving right when my next flight was leaving. Very rude staff, I saw an attendant yell at a mom and daughter like she was their mom. Non-apologetic to anyone. Their goal is to shove you in the plane and shove you out. Are they safe airline? Yes, they will get you to where you need to be...but not before they make your life hell. I don't normally do reviews on anything, but United still has me frustrated even a week later. I almost forgot, they did give $20 to eat. Do you know how expensive airport food is?"

Pros: "Everything about the flight was great. Both going and return were so on time, it was amazing. On the way home the in flight entertainment was out for the duration of the flight and nobody in the crew really took the time to address it - thought that was a little odd. Thanks again!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed in landing. I paid to watch tv which should be free on international flights... It use to be and they kept making PA announcements the entire flight. It was very very disruptive."
Cons: "The seats were incredibly uncomfortable and cramped. There was no option for on flight entertainment (despite it being an international flight). Probably would never fly United internationally again."
Pros: "Crew was nice."
Cons: "Less leg room than any other airline, complementary food is real bad, they charge you for everything, movies, alcohol and food, in other airlines they do not charge you for none of the above!"
