Pros: The staff here is amazing and the hotel also has some great environmental initiatives that I appreciated. (Basket to leave a piece of clothing or equip that they'll donate for you if you don't want to take it home) In the rooms there is a reasonable snack tray that we had a bottle of wine from. It wasn't outrageously priced which was nice because it saved us a trip to the store. The restaurant attached is super yummy as well as the coffee shop. They have loads of gluten free options as well as options for other dietary needs. This hotel has personality. They have a rental fish that you can take to your room, (A goldfish) a rubber ducky in the bathtub, a coffee/hot chocolate area and even a little stuffed critter on every bed.

The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were all fantastic. We loved the complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Everything as very clean. Wifi worked very well.

Pros: Great location for skiing and shopping , nice accommodations, many restaurants nearby and friendly, helpful staff In the upper village on the main esplanade, steps from the gondolas. 3 fun restaurants in the building and so many others nearby. The hotel gave us earplugs, but we did not encounter any noise issues. It was nice to spread out in the suite and enjoy the fire. The ski valet was a nice service as well.

Pros: We had such a fantastic stay. The location was unbeatable, the staff was incredible, and the rooms were spacious and clean (loved the Aveda product.) We got there early, and Peter went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and able to get on the mountain as soon as possible. Not only that, but when our room was ready, he brought all of our stuff up to us. He also ensured that our skis were always ready when we wanted to use them. Additionally, Dee helped us with printing and scanning which allowed us to get our work done as quickly as possible so we could get the most out of our experience. This was some of the best costumes service I have ever received and I will for sure be returning.

Cons: Hotel was over run with kids. Literally the bar was full of families with kids nightly. The lobby was full of people in robes because to get from the room elevators to the pool you had to traverse the lobby and apparently robes were the outfit of choice

Cons: However- 1. Upon checking in, our rooms were left open, presumably by the cleaning crew. I have never encountered this before at a hotel. 2. When we were setting up the sofa bed, we brought out a “clean” duvet from the closet. Turns out there were disgusting blood-like stains on them. 3. When requested the duvet to be exchanged, it took them more than 30 minutes to respond. The hotel was so understaffed that they had to ask the security guard to come and help us. 4. On the second day of our day, no room cleaning was done. No “DNB” sign was on the door. It was just missed or ignored by the cleaning crew. 5. The hanging light is far too low. My friend and I hit it every time we stand up from the table. How this isn’t an fire hazard I’m not sure. I’ve been to whistler every year for many years now. This expensive hotel is worse than some of the lodges I’ve stayed at.

We would stay there again for sure. Lovely patio to sit and have coffee or even BBQ up some food with the bbqs provided. If your looking for a quiet stay away from the party of the village this is the place for you.

Cons: I didn’t like all the noise. Hotel is made of Wood flooring so being on the 3 floor my neighbors above me were horribly loud all night and early morning. You could actually hear every where they walked. 5:45 am start and would go till 11:30pm. Then you could hear people who left their dogs in hotel room howling while unattended. There was nothing anyone could do.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Whistler. The room was extremely cozy and they had christmas music playing when we arrived in the room. The location was very central and the pool was at a neighboring hotel which was easy to get to!

Cons: However, the hotel itself is in need of an update. the entry and lobby are small, extremely small and it's difficult to bring your luggage into the hotel. You park in a back ally\street and have to traverse several steps to get into a very small lobby. We had 6 guests in the lobby at our time of arrival and there was no room for us or our luggage. The room we were in was dirty, the fixtures were very old and needed repair(ceiling fan dangling from ceiling) the bathroom was very small and dirty. The wall paper had years of makeup and blood speckled on it and in a small bathroom it made it very sketchy to wash or shave near the sink. We wiped everything down when we go to the room and we removed dirt\grime with each swipe.

Cons: I disliked the washroom, it was tiny and the door opened inwards hitting the toilet. You have to squeeze around the door to get in the washroom. This problem could be easily solved with a door that opened outward, or a sliding door.

Cons: The building design is weird - we were located on a level in between level 2 and 3 and it wasn't reached by the lift, which means we have to either go down one level from L3 or 1 up from L2... The heater was right next to the sofa bed which makes it very noisy when sleeping, and there was almost no room to put our things after putting the sofa bed out. There was laundry services but the dryer was broken which means we had to take everything to their sister hotel for laundry.

Cons: We had to cancel last minute due to sickness of 2 family members and I called night before to request some concideration for partial refund or maybe using at a different time. Cancellation policy was 48 hours and I called 18 hours prior to. Nothing was refunded of 4 days and we lost 1400 even though we have hospital records show that we cannot travel. I will continue to stay at Hilton or Westin. Will stay away from doing business with Listel.

Pros: The location cannot be beat. This hotel is perfectly situated. Its a short walk to restaurants, and the Whistler base and gondola. I also want to say that one member of staff was absolutely outstanding! Laura is amazing. She is friendly, and helpful in all face to face dealings with her and also helped us in advance by arranging airport transportation, ski rental and lift tickets. She is an absolute gem and truly a delight to interact with.

Cons: The rest of the staff were disinterested at best. We had a problem when Laura was not there and they basically told us they fixed it and actually had not done a thing about it. The attitude was definitely "I can't be bothered". This came from several different staff members. Management needs to do a better job with staff training and Laura should be the gold standard. All staff should be like her. The bed was very uncomfortable. I had a hard time sleeping as a result.
