Pros: Great location in the center of Valladolid. Lots of character, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, nice swimming pool. Great breakfast!
Cons: The in-room facilities could be better (no coffee/tea maker, microwave, or fridge)
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast staff were great.
Cons: Park lot was a mess.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a treat. The entrance, dining room and pool/garden are gorgeous. The staff is gracious and friendly. And the location .. right on the zocalo .. is perfect.
Cons: Our bathroom was nice and roomy but definitely needed an update.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the food were great.
Cons: No complaints.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is very good and convenient in the evening. The location is perfect. The rooms are quiet and there are awesome views from the terra es
Cons: The restaurant is very good, the package options for breakfast are a bit inconvenient, we had a kid of 2y old and if we wanted him to eat (weel, 1 egg is enough), we had to order him a plate and pay for it extra. The pillows are not comfortable and we couls not sleep well
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The cleanes and location.
Cons: The room didn't have a refrigerator and wifi speed could be better.
4,8 Okay
Pros: The location like always
Cons: Guest service, service in general, the room,
9,4 Excellent
Pros: This facility is attractive and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the owners, husband and wife, who are exceptionally good at making their guests feel welcome and at home. The food - both breakfast and dinner - was good, and for the two non-vegans in our party of three the dishes and recipes very interesting, worth the experience.
Cons: The wifi was weak in our room, and the shower a bit "cranky". Neither of these things were serious issues for us, but worth mentioning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place with great atmosphere
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great....but it can be noisy. The last time I was in Valladolid, I stayed in a different place — also wonderful — but ate several times at Meson. There is a pool — which I didn’t use but it looked nice but unseated. Since it is in a courtyard, it doesn’t get a lot of sun. The staff is lovely.
Cons: Frankly, the food can be hit or miss, and it is expensive. Don’t order their specialty of the house. I could not even eat it. Awful. However, there are many other dishes that are quite nice. Cocktails are reasonably priced.
6,0 Good
Pros: This hotel is located on the main square in Valladolid. As such, all points of interest - cathedrals, shopping, restaurants - are within walking distance. Also, there is on-site parking. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant associated with this hotel gets great reviews. We did not eat there so I cannot comment on that.
Cons: At check-in, the room rate jumped by $30. Apparently, this booking site doesn’t take the local taxes into account. So that took a somewhat reasonably priced room into an unreasonable rate for what we got. The room was very clean and did have a king bed. Everything else about the room was a disappointment. The furnishings were old, the bathroom was small and the bathroom door was louvered! I prefer a tad more privacy for my bathroom. There are renovations going on at the property but i didn’t see any of those “upgraded” rooms. Based on my room, i probably would not book there again. Unless I was looking solely at price and didn’t mind a long in the tooth facility.

Pros: Location in center of town. Great staff, cute restaurant, comfy room.

Ecotel Quinta Regia - Valladolid - Lobby

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Ecotel Quinta Regia in Valladolid, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Cenote Zaci and Cathedral of San Gervasio. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Back in the day the hotel was a fruit farm, so smack dab in the middle of Valladolid it offers an astonishing green retreat from the city. I visited at the end of a busy two-week trip seeing archeological sites and wanted a quiet, pleasant environment to decompress before flying home. The hotel was the perfect place for my purposes and would serve anyone well as a base for seeing things in the Valladolid area such as Chichen Itza, Ek Balam or the cenotes.
Cons: The IT setup involves use of a browser window for authentication. The connection drops unpredictably without notification, so you have to check to see if you're still connected. If you're using a laptop, Firefox will give you the connection heads up. If you're using a cell phone, bookmark the network login page and pull it up to check if your connection is still active or not.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, comfortable and was decorated in colonial style. Very good breakfast, reasonably priced.
Cons: The only downsides - about 15-20 walk from the center of town (although taxi ride was only $1), inconsistent wi-fi.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nice location and good surroundings.
Cons: This hotel charges 110+ US Dollars for a king bed room. But the toilet is broken, it gets stuck. We cannot use it. We call the front desk but they never come and help. We have to go out and find public restroom. Everything in the room is so old. Door broken. Hard to open and close. Totally does not worth the money. The bed is not comfortable, does not feel clean. Pillow is really hard.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very big hotel with a lot of buses of tourists.
Cons: Staff not very friendly, don t even talk about breakfast. Room with a view over the car park. No wifi.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Nicely decorated and fairly large room. Very comfy bed. Grounds are well maintained and lovely.
Cons: A bit far to walk to the main square. It's a big hotel, and some rooms seem to have better views than others. Our view was pretty boring.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Although there was confusion locating our reservation when we arrived the staff were very helpful providing accommodations. The restaurant staff should be thanked for their help and English speaking ability. Ecotel Quinta Regia is a cluster of two story building with very large room including either deck or balcony faced by very mature plants and shrubs. A most pleasant environment for relaxation. There is a tennis court and pool for guests. A good choice for a stay in Valladolid.
Cons: Breakfast began at 7:00 AM. Our group of three arrived just before 8:00 AM. A tour group was finishing their buffet breakfast--in the hotels very pleasant restaurant-. There was limited food remaining in the buffet spread and it was not replenish. Eggs were prepared for us according to our preference and coffee was refilled but we were unsuccessful learning if the buffet was set out for the tour group alone and is not a component of the "Breakfast Included" description.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Big surprise! Great value, very nice grounds, trees, tennis court, pool, nice restaurant with reasonable prices. About 5 blocks from square, 15 min. walk or 30-50 peso cab ride.
6,7 Good
Cons: Staff dont speak english. It is to expensive.

Pros: We liked the location on the north side of Valladolid, easy access to Ek Balam ruins and the Cuota road. Short drive to downtown, and right next to shopping area with supermarket.
Cons: Almost too quiet, with not too many other guests. We were the only ones at the restaurant, but food and service were fine.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are extremely well maintained and the rooms very clean. Very friendly staff
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The best served breakfast in all of my 14 days in the Yucatan, (& service by Eduardo & his colleague Roberto also contributed to it's enjoyment!). Great centralized location to keep a note of for future trips to the Yucatan!
Cons: Not so much anything that I did not like, because I am sure it would have been addressed if I had thought/needed to bring it to the staff's attention, but there was no ice tray in the Bar-Servery's full size fridge-freezer & there was no glassware. The Roja Villa was well beyond "like", it felt like a second home even though it was just for the one night stay! Got back too late on the return part of our 3 day tripping around to get to the restaurant for a meal and as well to thank Eduardo again for all the useful information he provided when asked, and for the additional information that he voluntarily provided which was special and helpful! I & others are for sure to be back to Hacienda Kaan Ac in the future!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s accommodation from another world, 16th Hacienda.
Cons: On site restaurant doesn’t open for dinner.
6,0 Good
Pros: nice garden & pool nice baby bed
Cons: mold (schimmel) in the room on walls. room smelly
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the setting!
Cons: The reception staff were often absent and when they were there they didn’t seem very interested.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic, 15 minutes from downtown but far enough for the Hacienda isolation experience. Rooms are very spacious, gorgeous and clean. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Area was beautiful and quiet. Facilities are exactly as depicted in the pictures.
Cons: Restaurant was extremely understaffed and limited food. Breakfast was included but they open at 8-8:30 am and takes close to 2 hrs from the time you order to end so it’s not conducive for early departures or early sightseeing. After 8 pm, no one is around to help you with any issues but no problems arouse so we were good. Going out to restaurants was easy and they provide numbers for cab drivers.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely place - quiet; beautiful grounds, foliage, and sculptures; spacious villa, friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast and drinking water supplied. It is an easy short drive from Vallolodid.
Cons: There were no reading lights - just overhead room lights.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: - The pool - The room - The garden - The staff
Cons: I am a fan of hard mattresses but these were as soft as concrete.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really attentive. You could also explore the entire hacienda at leisure, and staff were happy to show us round other suites in the main building. It's an impressive building, and we almost had the run of the place! It's sad that they don't allow anyone to eat in the historical hacienda though - which is just available to visit as a museum.
Cons: I found the room descriptions a bit confusing and ended up booking the wrong kind of room. We also found out that not all the room options were viewable online (or at least, so I believe). I also thought that we would be able to dine in the historical hacienda, but this is just for show as a museum.

Pros: they did my bed and cleaned the room :-) the location is great as its next to the ado bus station
Cons: was a bit noisey bcs of the a/c from the neighbour and a frigde as well as a kettle would be great to have. my confirmation showed there will be breakfast in the room but there was no breakfast at all.
6,0 Good
Pros: Exellent location. Clean. Staff friendly but very minimal english. Firm beds. No hair dryer. Shower water was only warm. Overall good value for the money
Cons: Bed too hard for me
1,0 Poor
Pros: Not having the horrible staff, the hotel would be nice.
Cons: The reception lady was the most arrogant person we had met in Mexico. Maybe she is not happy when the hotel has guests? She also tried to charge as a higher price then booked in our reservation. Alhough the hotel is relatively big, it does not have any place where you can leave your luggage after checking out. Or at least she said so.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location fabulous..parking great and easy...fridge in room good..
Cons: Needs a bit of a facelift...pool area needs to be more accessible
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location. Great staff. Probably have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times in the past. Going again next weekend but staying at another nearby hotel.
Cons: Room was looking somewhat worn. Time for a refresh.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has an ideal location in Valladolid. The hotel building and courtyard are quaint and charming. There is a pool and hotel restaurant in the central courtyard. The food was surprisingly excellent at the restaurant, particularly from the a la carte menu. We ordered the camarones al gusto (a la plancha) - aka grilled shrimp. The plate came with a fresh chopped salad and rice. We also requested tortillas on the side. The shrimp were juicy and very well-grilled. Highly recommend that dish. The free breakfast buffet, while generous and varied, was less tasty. The service is very friendly.
Cons: This hotel is a very good value for the money. However, the rooms are small and very modestly equipped. The beds are squeaky and old. If you're looking for luxe accommodations, look elsewhere. That said, the service is very friendly and prompt. We have no complaints.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom stunk so bad o tried to change rooms Pool almost inaccessible No face cloths or hand towels tv didn't work no cloths hangers any where no hangers hooks or shelves in the bathrooms, toiletries and cloths had to be on the floor, very unsanitary and annoying. Minor changes could make my stay more enjoyable
5,7 Okay
Pros: Ate there breakfast one day when our local choice was closed - OK. Bed was a king-size - too big for our taste, but much better for space in the room than the 'standard' two doubles. We could see through the windows of made up but unoccupied rooms, and I have stayed there 5 - 6 times in the past 4 - 5 years - I really like the location. The two doubles have a few inches between them and NO space along the other side, so if two people are in one bed someone is climbing over the other to get to the bathroom in the night.
Cons: The freakin' elevator again!!! We were there largely because they have an elevator!!! They turned it on for us to get our luggage upstairs when we arrived [then off again?]. Worked on the first day last year as well, and then NOT for the rest of the week, so I carried our bicycles up and down the stairs. Not a problem - I was healthy, I was strong, I was only 70...And Sue [traveling partner] had not fallen and damaged her ankle and knees as she did a couple of weeks before we got there this year... This year she has a new electric-assist bike - wonderful on the road, but heavy. With forewarning, and standing around and waiting, I think that we got the elevator working every time we needed to move the bikes. We got home after dinner, late-ish [10 - 11] one evening [maybe Sun after being out to the ruinas]. Sue's legs were NOT up to climbing the stairs. [One can bicycle and not be good on stairs - different muscle and joint usage according to my 50 years' experience in orthopaedics]. Desk guy was sitting on bench in lobby with his phone. He refused to turn on the elevator, telling us that it would be back in service at 0700. I didn't ask him to carry her - maybe I should have. The next day the young guy at the desk told us that on the weekend, when the bar is open upstairs, they turn the elevator off to stop the drunks from using it! What a good idea!!! Send them down three flights of stairs instead of riding the elevator! WiFi was a problem! Previously I think that it worked ok - this time only out on the terasa - really non-functional in the room. We had a small bottle of rum in the fridge. Level in bottle went from top of the label to bottom of the label without either of us drinking it...Two years ago one of the cleaning guys came in about 0900, before I was getting off to event for 10, and told me that one of the types of beer I had in the fridge was 'his favourite', so I gave him one. A few minutes later, he was back to tell me that the other kind I had was also his favourite, He didn't get a second... My thought is that I will be finding somewhere else to stay in downtown Valladolid next time I go back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A charming hotel on the Main Street. Best to ask for a room at the back because it can be noisy with the local restaurants’ music. Parking on road out front on first come basis.

Pros: Very good location to visit the town and make trip to Chichen Itza Safe parking lot

Pros: This was such a nice hotel with a wonderful staff and accommodations!
Cons: The hotel itself was kind of hard to find, and the parking was limited, although the staff was very accommodating.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We really liked this hotel, the staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast delicious, our room perfectly fitted the 4 of us (grown up "children" with us), as the beds were in two stories, so a perfect solution for us :-) Only disappointment was the pool/resting area, dont book the hotel for that. The pool was clean and nice to get into when being hot, but the garden/pool area is very small, only for 2 persons. Did not matter to us though, we loved the patio for breakfast. Thank you.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A small but exceptional Hotel. The building, rooms and outside spaces are beautiful. The owners and staff were so hospitable and gave us excellent recommendations on the local area. There is so much attention to detail and thought in creating a comfortable place for guests to stay. The food was very good, a lot of choice for breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Pros: We loved everything about this property. Gabriel and the owners were so nice and accommodating. Service, food and staff were wonderful. The look and feel of the place is perfect and the owners curated the spaces with Mexican art and vignettes. The pool and the interior gardens is peaceful. We loved everything about it! And we will be back.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike about this place!

Pros: We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was beautifully decorated with a huge four poster bed. Great coffee in the room and a delicious breakfast was served outside in the grounds. The gardens and hotel were absolutely lovely - very traditional with a nice little dipping pool. 8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Cons: It's a little bit pricey for what you're getting
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location, the breakfasts in the lovely garden, the hospitality. All of the staff were pleasant and kind. Jesus was particularly engaging; such a nice man.
Cons: Our unnamed “suite” was recently added to the line up of available rooms and we found it somewhat awkward with lots of unused space. Early morning construction next door coupled with street noise was unfortunate. These things happen. Overall, however, Tia Micha was comfortable, quaint and charming. Next time I would just be sure to ask for a quiet room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Delightfully charming colonial-style building, just steps from the central town plaza but still calm and quiet. Lovely garden in the rear where a delicious breakfast is served, and a small, cool pool to dip after a hot day. Big, airy rooms, and great wifi throughout. Marvelous!

Pros: This was such a nice hotel with a wonderful staff and accommodations!
Cons: The hotel itself was kind of hard to find, and the parking was limited, although the staff was very accommodating.

And we will be back.

Pros: We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was beautifully decorated with a huge four poster bed. Great coffee in the room and a delicious breakfast was served outside in the grounds. The gardens and hotel were absolutely lovely - very traditional with a nice little dipping pool. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and we were given great recommendations about where to eat and what to do. Very centrally located, 1 minute from the main square and close to the cenote.
Cons: Nothing - everything was lovely!

Marvelous!
