9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location right in the heart of old Toledo. A clean and comfortable room, if a little snug, but I get the feeling space is a premium in old Toledo. Best of all was the host Miguel who was possibly the most welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic host I have ever encountered - thanks Miguel Angel!
Cons: The room would have been pretty tight if you had two suitcases. If you don't like stairs, request a lower floor room. There is no lift.
10,0 Excellent

7,5 Good
Pros: This hostel was really clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: The bed was small and uncomfortable. The shower was broken and did not have hot water. When I asked the lady at reception about it she said “oh”. Perhaps it was a language barrier.
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff were very kind, especially a short hair lady. The room was downstairs and smelled like mold, not worth for 66 euros. overall thanks for the kind staff, it was good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and hosts. They helped with directions to the sites I wanted to visit. I still had to ask shopkeepers for clarifications. They were very helpful. You could walk to everything. The room was very comfortable and air conditioning was perfect as it was very hot outside. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Being in the historic center is wonderful but parking is always an issue. There was parking nearby but I am not that young and the return to the parking was daunting because it was all uphill. I just took a lot of breaks
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right near the Cathedral. Easy walking distance to most sites. Best breakfast and best view combined. Dining area is on the roof with view of Cathedral.
Cons: Perfumey odor to room and towels.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room had style & the bed was comfortable. (At first, I did not think it would be.) The roof top terrace was wonderful for an evening glass of wine & morning breakfast. The hosts were very helpful & enjoyable to talk to. (helped us get around during the crowded Corpus Christi day) They also told us all about their protector dragons. The breakfast was very good & reasonably priced. Very quiet room too.
Cons: Tiny shower, & needed some scrubbing to get rid of mildew.

9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in a quieter but still easy to find part of Toledo. Farther away from the day tourists that are crowded in Zocodover.
Cons: Slightly confusing entrance to the hostal through the store. After hours (when store is closed), the lift is only available from the first floor (since the ground floor lift is through the store).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The beds were very firm and comfortable. The room was immaculately clean. The balcony was awesome for views and people watching. The location was ideal, close to everything but on the edge of the biggest tourist area.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The place immaculate and the beds comfy. It was nice to have a place to make coffee in the morning. The location was ideal. Anna, the owner was helpful and lovely.
Cons: The place was dark and had a dungeon like feel even after dark. On the plus side we were out all day and only there to sleep. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bed of excellent quality. Anna works had to provide a comfortable stay for her guests and it shows in her product.
Eurostars Palacio Buenavista - Toledo - Building
5
9,0 Excellent (2 379 reviews)
R2 230+
Overview Reviews
The Eurostars Palacio Buenavista, built around the former 16th-century Buenavista Palace, is just 5 minutes by car from the historic centre of Toledo. This location makes it the ideal hotel for seeing all that the city has to offer. Just 45 minutes from Madrid - Barajas airport by car, Toledo is also served by a high-speed train line (AVE) from Madrid Atocha station and the journey takes just 25 minutes. A transfer service from the airport is also offered for an additional cost. For those wishing to visit the centre of Spain, the Eurostars Palacio Buenavista is the ideal starting point from which to discover Aranjuez, Cuenca, Ávila and other places of interest near Madrid. It is a marvelous destination which combines the magic and charm of Toledo with luxury and the very best personal service.
7,5 Good
Pros: The rooms are clean and spacious, very nice property
Cons: The pool, the restaurants and over all the organisation and management
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and professional.
Cons: Room overlooked a road and abandoned concrete building. I suppose I was disappointed because of the name Buenavista and having previously stayed at an hotel with a view of Toledo I was expecting the same.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with large, spacious rooms. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Great breakfast. Had kettle in room ( many European hotels I’ve stayed in don’t ) Reception were good at ordering taxis and sorting out problems quickly.
Cons: The rooms near the lifts had good WiFi. My daughter had to move room as there was no WiFi signal in her room. We did have to ask for things - only one towel in the room, only one milk in the room . Shower drainer metal thing with nasty hairs on was left in the sink when we first arrived. The staff did come quickly and clean the bathroom. The hotel seems to be set up for corporate events. The shuttle bus only runs to 4:00pm so you do end up having to get taxis into and back from Toledo ( unless you want to eat in the hotel)
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great 5 star hotel in Toledo. Big rooms and beds. Pool is very nice. Breakfast was really good. Peaceful location.
Cons: Maybe the only minus is that it's a few kilometres away from the old town. Walking takes like 45min but taxis are really convenient.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is fantastic, rooms are large, beds are fine
Cons: Not renovated, rooms are getting old. Bathrooms damaged clogged washbasins (both). Reception did not take care of our problem, not even a discount. Spa is very dirty, and stinks. That hotel has absolutely never been maintained properly for years. In the past, was nice. But now, better not stop here ! And parking 10 euros... for an hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very far from the center... restaurant car is very restrictive and wine list is poor and low quality. If you like 4 or 5 stars hotels, don’t come to this one ! (It’s a 3 stars Spanish level, no better). But still not maintained
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It was gorgeous, everything amazing, it has transfer to the city center.
Cons: Unfortunately they lacked staff in the restaurant/bar (they were kind of slow). We made a reservation to the restaurant and when we got there it wasn’t scheduled (at least there was available tables)
6,8 Good
Pros: Meals are excellent. Staff is amazing. Hotel is clean and luxury decorated. But 250 euros per night in Toledo deserves more than a room with no balcon. The worst: swimming pool is over crowded and is required to wait for a sun hair. In my opinion: not worth the 250 rate per night.
Cons: Not balcon in the Reims even when the pictures have a big terrace. Swimming pool is over crowed and waiting is required to find a place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was brilliant room fab bed so comfy.shower powerful.breakfast delicious..view from room fab staff lovely and very helpful
Cons: There was nothing to no like it was amazing!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great beds pillows may need an upgrade All very good experience
Cons: Just the pillows maybe
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very sizeable rooms - reasonable breakfast and ample parking. Friendly helpful staff. Magnificent central salon.
Cons: Can’t really walk into the city but taxis are rapidly available and if you prefer to take your car there is lots of free parking close to the escalators so you don’t have to walk up the steep inclines to the city.

Hostal La Campana’s rooms feature fresh décor and wood furnishings. They feature a TV, telephone and a private bathroom. A continental breakfast is served daily, and the hotel has a cafeteria. 9,5 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Our room was above the street and got a bit of noise throughout the night. Probably best to ask for a room back from the street if you are a light sleeper.
7,0 Good
Pros: Convenient location in the "Jewish Quarter" off Calle San Tome which is one of the busier pedestrian streets, not far from the Cathedral, The people who run the hostal also run the La Campana restaurant on the ground floor. It was nice to have breakfast included in the low rate. Mainly a continental breakfast, but I appreciated the coffee and fresh juice. The room was small and basic, but had a nice view onto a small decorated courtyard (as opposed to the air shafts or laundry lines I was used to seeing during my trip at other budget lodgings). The bathroom was well-sized, and the shower had a rainforest shower head. Aircon worked and was welcome.
Cons: No elevator. You would need to walk up at least one flight of stairs to get to the rooms. While the wifi was free and reliable, it was fairly slow compared to other lodgings in Spain.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location!
Cons: The breakfast can still be improved.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Its very clean and the staffs are all.friendly
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent location, great air conditioning, very comfortable, and the proprietress (I don't know how to spell her name correctly) was extremely nice and helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best location in Toledo, from where you can visit the whole city very easily; for example the masterpiece of the great painter El Greco is only 50 meters from this hotel. The staff which is Toledo rooted knows everyrthing about his city
Cons: nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect. My husband is coeliac and they had gluten free bread ready for him and provided a plate of food for him direct from the kitchen so as to avoid the risk of gluten contamination from the open buffet. The staff was very friendly and worked so hard to look after everyone.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The attendant lady was sweet and helpful. The bfast was easy and ended at 10:30 which let me sleep in. It was in the Juderia next to Santo Tomé. The price was great. It was super clean.
Cons: The doors are super noisy to close so my neighbors woke me a lot. The walls were very thin and I had to knock on the wall so they would quiet. There was no lift which makes it hard after a full day of climbing in the scorching heat and then moving luggage
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Exelent! The best location, very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location!
Cons: The water wasn’t really hot. Luckily the weather was warm during our stay.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, location and high terrace bar
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Roof bar with beautiful view of Toledo. Great location and value for money.
Cons: Very noisy. Our room faced entrance and dragging noises on cobblestones woke us up way too early. Thin walls also.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and information from some of the staff members. And the guided tour by JUANPE.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is most helpful, I messed up my reservation, they fixed it with a smile. The hotel is right in the historical centre, stylish, it has a character, it's welcoming. Cons: I really don't know.
6,3 Good
Pros: We liked the location.
Cons: It was very noisy with inconsiderate guests but as with many hotels the “do not disturb” sign on the door a complete waste of time as cleaning staff continued to drag beds and chairs around waking everyone that was lying in up.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, and perfect breakfast. They will offer map and give advice for tour.
Cons: It is good hotel but may be not so ready for Chinese client, i feel.

Pros: Great view overlooking the Toledo city. 10-minute driving distance to Toledo City and main attractions. Dining atmosphere for dinner was tranquil and sunset view was fantastic. Breakfast was great and tasty with wide selections. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The dinner set was not a good value.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and clean, beautiful rooms, fabulous pool and the view of Toledo from the terraces and our room was stunning!
Cons: I loved it all but thought that breakfast at €19 per person was very expensive.
7,7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall
Cons: Some staffs were very very rude. Which ruined our stay overall. The person working at the reception was rude and also at the breakfast cafeteria.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room balcony overlooking Toledo. Pool.
Cons: Bed was very firm so didn’t sleep well and very disappointed there were no tea and coffee making facilities in our room, as has been in other Parador hotels.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and the view!
Cons: Room, cockroach Staff - not enough service mind
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Standard breakfast. Great views.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: really good breakfast with perfect view
Cons: nil
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with spectacular views over Toledo. The evening meal was incredible and breakfast was possibly one of the best we have had on our Spanish road trip. I had left my IPad and the hotel were wonderful in arranging it to be sent onto me. Great staff, would def go back.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our corner room was simply stunning. We watched the (rare) thunderstorms all night from our balcony while sipping on a glass of wine. Spacious and superclean room. Fantastic breakfast buffet with lots of choice. We got a late check-out just because we had lunch in their (good) restaurant.
Cons: A lot of tour groups (busloads!) come to see the view and stand in front of your table while you have a drink/coffee and are in some cases really noisy. Why not lead them around the hotel to enjoy the view (rather than walk through the bar)? Some staff members were a bit curt (but never really unfriendly). The bar is such an ugly and uninviting space - what a missed opportunity given the stunning view over the city. The pool area looked dated (that fence around it...). Tip: infinity pool with Spain’s best view? :)
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is just stunning! A beautiful hotel with breathtaking views and a real Spanish luxury feel. Will be returning again!
Cons: Some of the bar staff were a bit stressed on occasions but generally really good and helpful
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing
Cons: The air conditioning wasn’t working well

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right in the centre with secure parking and a lovely roof terrace. Room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. Traditional décor. Breakfast basic but good. We only spent one night but will return when it is cooler and would use the hotel again.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very kind. They arranged a taxi despite of still dark early morning.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was served to you at a table in the diningroom which was a nice change from self service. Everything in the hotel was perfect for a short break. There is parking under the hotel. If you require parking tell the hotel the make and model of your car. If your car is big then maybe it would not be possible to park there.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful. The staffs were friendly and kind. Spacious room.
Cons: Used shampoo bottles were in the bathroom, and used cloth was in the corner of the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great and nice surprise that you'll have to experience for yourself.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Parking under ground for bikes (mind your head). Reception staff very good, told us locations of good tapas bars. Great roof terrace for enjoying a bottle of wine.
Cons: Breakfast was one of the worst we have had. Its served to your table, we had a little pot of yogurt with corn flakes in, one slice of bimbo toast and jam and a very dry croissant and one cup of coffee. We could of had fruit instead of the croissant but that was just a banana or an apple not even prepared for you. if you asked for anything else it was a straight NO. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything there was exceptional! The building is a renovated medieval house with all the modern amenities yet still retaining its charm. The room (single) far exceeded my expectations as it felt luxurious yet for a reasonable price! Sparkly clean and with a nice aroma. With some antique-looking furniture and a simple decor it immediately impressed me! It comes with a private bathroom with shower and an air conditioner, necessary for the summer. I'm really glad I chose to stay the night in Toledo as I enjoyed it even more this way. I would recommend this hotel without a second thought!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
9,3 Excellent
Pros: There are AC, private bathroom, clean room
Cons: The bed is uncomfortable, the concaving mattress in the middle creates a feeling of tilt. They sprayed too much aroma (before my coming) in the bedroom and toilets, causing me to have headaches, trouble sleeping.

Cons: Nothing!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious!!! And the room was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, for the most part.
Cons: Some staff forgot things a couple of times, but it did no harm......
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location. Clean rooms.
Cons: Booked room with non-refundable rate. Contacted the hotel to arrange parking and inform them we have a dog. The parking was 23 euros which we feel is quite expensive but had already read in the details that would be the cost. We were then told that the charge for our dog was 25 euros!!! If we had been given the option of free cancellation we would have definitely cancelled. We regularly travel through France and Spain and think 25 euros is excessive. The Sercotel Hotel in Burgos only charges 11 euros. We appreciate that the hotel provided a cushion and bowl but we already had our own dog supplies, and given that the room is small and has a tiled floor it didn’t need much cleaning. The room itself was reasonable value for money but the parking and dog then cost the same as the room!!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly helpful and friendly staff! Loved the old building and although the rooms were not overly spacious they were comfortable. Excellent breakfast and coffee..good wifi..very good parking...dog friendly and a good location. Cheap taxis available if needed as there are some steep hills! Some bars and restaurants close by and a good shop next door.
Cons: It was a shame the bar was closed during our stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location Friendly reception staff

Pros: The location was perfect....walking distance to everything
Cons: The bar wasn't open on Monday night and we were very much looking forward to staying in and eating at the bar that night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Provided a feel of the old city with modern comfort
Cons: From the staff to the upgrade for a room with antique catches we loved it may not do the breakfast again as we are not big eaters only money spent that we regretted

Pros: Love his place! Great staff. Alina was amazing!!! Super location. The room living room was great- with a lovely outside area and a nice inside area as well. Easy to use kitchen with hot plate. Nice coffee and tea available all day. cute restaurant attached though we never ate there.
Cons: Wish there was a central living area and bathroom on ground floor
6,3 Good
Pros: The terrace had a really nice view and the hostel was at a very good place.
Cons: Our room was for 4 people but it was just way to small. Also the beds were super noisy while moving just a little.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooftop terrace with view, great location, rooms had air conditioning, kitchen on rooftop with a great view, free tea and coffee, friendly staff
Cons: The set up of the hostel was not so conducive for socializing (the only common area was on the roof)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super nice. They tried to solve the problem, changed rooms. Super friendly.
Cons: The air conditioning was not working in the hottest day of the year. I know it was probably a pontual problem, but it was 42 degrees outside and it was impossible to sleep.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly Staff in the hostel, great location and view from the tarrace. The room was in a good size, ac was working, bathroom clean.
Cons: The top bunk bed needs some sort of secure on sides. I was afraid my children will fall down from them during the sleep as there was none. Fridge a bit messy and too small for the amount of people using it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! I recommend! The staff is really nice and helpful. The place is beautiful and everything was well organized! Thank you and hasta luego! :)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This central hostel was very nice, comfortable and had a beautiful rooftop to relax, make food and enjoy the views. The staff was also helpful, kind and helped you with anything. The room and bathroom I shared with 3 other people with no problem. The mattress on the beds was comfortable and despite the heat, the room also had air condition and good ventilation from the windows. I liked that the room had lockers and a wardrobe with enough space to place your suitcase with the other ones. I would repeat being here :) Easy to get in and out with a keycard, close to all the monuments, restaurants etc. People were extremely friendly! :D
Cons: I was not so bothered, but there's small space to move around, a bit noisy when climbing up the stairs to the upper bed. Even though the rooms were cleaned each day, there was still a lot of dust in the room. Since the hostel lays right next to bars and restaurants etc. there can be some noise at night, but it was not overwhelmingly for me.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, AMAZING rooftop
Cons: No curtains on the bad
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice terrace. Clean and private room. Kind staff. Wonderful service. When I used laundary service(8euro), they finished wash and dry.
Cons: Nope

9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and cozy room, we had room nr 11 with a Franche balcony.. parking bit difficult during the week.. we had luck.. arrived in the afternoon and next day was bank holiday.. so payed only 4 eurs till evening Sundays and bank holidays are free parking .. short walk to the city.. you have to go up the street.. maybe bit difficult for elderly or handicapped people..
Cons: .. TV no English channels..
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and very quiet. Great value for the money. Excellent location just outside the city walls. An easy 5 minute walk to the escalators that took you up to the old town. Staff was very friendly. Pretty easy on street parking--free overnight, but pay and display during the day. We left the car in the same spot for the 2 days we were there. We were very happy with our stay.
Cons: Breakfast was minimal and not much for restaurants real close by. Best to go up into the old town for any food or shopping needs.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the hotel well located to the town. But would be a challenge for people if they were not used to walking a lot.
Cons: The room was smaller than I expected but we managed.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location (3 minutes away from bus station and 5 minutes walk to the center of Toledo). Comfortable and clean room.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Design and comfort. Proximity to the city
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and cute little hotel with a patio from the room. The shower is nice. It’s located across from the old down, 3-minute walk from the escalator to the old down or the Puerta.
Cons: Wall is too thin, I could hear the neighbor. Good that there are only a few rooms there, so overall it’s still pretty quiet.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Difficult to find
Cons: Service
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quite, friendly staff, good breakfast, liked very much. The only thing I missed was frigobar in the room or room service for some snacks.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The people running this hotel were lovely. We felt very welcomed. We also felt very lucky to have a ground-floor room which includes a patio. That's where we spent most of our time while in the room. Though the room itself is small, the bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough and well-lit. Breakfast begins at 8:30, which in the Spanish culture might seem early. And while it is simple, it's beautifully presented. The coffee is excellent. The price of the breakfast might seem a bit high, but you're paying for the convenience. We appreciated the location just a 3 minute uphill walk to the gates of the old city, and a one-stop bus ride from the train station (or a 5 minute walk from the Bus terminal). We enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: If you are an early riser like me, you will have to go out to a cafe for your first cup of coffee. Walk up the hill to the roundabout across from the city gate (again, that's just a 3 minute walk), and you'll find a busy little cafe serving good coffee and churros at 7 a.m.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The outside looks nice But take a look at the rooms first......
Cons: Smallest room ever, nowhere to put a bag or even a phone. A glass of hot water was all we asked but was given reluctantly. Furthermore we stayed 2 nights but had to pay for 3 nights ! Explanation of the only Spanish speaking receptionist was : since we had booked via booking.com the 3 rd night could not be cancelled.... / or even partly refunded , anyway a room for 2 with a bed 135 wide... and no room to stand next to this small bed! ( watch hilarious photos) you can see it was far from comfy in this place. Only a 10% discount was offered for our next stay at this very hospederia......... never again!

Pros: Location is good for sightseeing
Cons: Facillities are VERY basic, no place for luggage, no fridge, poor sound proof - you can hear all from the next room, stairs and from the street... and, horrified poster with Marylyn dead on the wall!!!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building with designer rooms. Very clean, bright and comfortable.
Cons: Access is via stairs so not easy with luggage/a baby stroller. There is no mini fridge in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, the building is beautiful and the room was very modern. Just keep on mind if you are arriving by car, the access to the Hotel is very limited, you will not be able to arrive by car during daytime (if you arrive after midnight like we did, you can stop the car in front of the Hotel for a few mins and then drive to parking building) , but you can park in "El Mirador" parking building and walk for 4 mins to the Hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were fantastic
Cons: I stayed with a friend so the lack of privacy in the shower was an issue
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Build quality of renovated property. Materials used. Design. Location.
Cons: Nada
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the breakfast and location.
Cons: Room was too small; no place for luggage (must leave it on the floor); tiny trash can
6,3 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the location was great.
Cons: There was no window in the room only a door to a small balcony but you couldn’t have that open without cigarette smoke coming from other people smoking on their balconies. The shower was part of the room making it very steamy especially with not being able to open a window.
5,8 Okay
Pros: We liked the location of the hotel very much. I would have preferred to be closer to the west side of the city, but this location was bustling and close to the active and happening part of the old city.
Cons: I am upset that the fact that there is no reception at this hotel isn’t mentioned in the booking.com description. It might have deterred us from choosing it. Regardless, the concept is interesting, but the execution poor. We needed luggage stored because our plan was to remain in Toledo for several hours after checkout. Once I got the notification that there is no reception, I called the hotel. The call was redirected to the parent hotel of Antidoto rooms, the Hotel Pintor El Greco. We were given the option of storing luggage unsupervised or schlepping it for 15 mins along cobblestone streets to the other end of town. Neither option was acceptable. We were then told that we’d be able to store suitcases at a different room at the hotel and that the staff would make sure we had a key to get in and retrieve it. Sounded simple enough. However, when we called to make those arrangements, no one seemed to recall the previous conversation. Every time we called, it was as if we were calling for the first time. In the end, the automatic key dispensing machine broke, and staff needed to come from the Pintor El Greco to manually let us in and out of the room. As for the room itself- we were there in June and it’s hot. The AC can’t handle it. The room is shabby and isn’t very clean. No closet, hangers hang above the Nespresso machine. No fridge, which is unusual for European hotels. Glass bathroom door, no shower door, the sink is beside the bed, one chipped white drawer case hanging off the wall, etc etc etc. It’s trying to be something, clearly, but what it ends up being is a slight step above a hostel without the cheap price point. Again, it isn’t that we minded the lack of reception because we need a smile and a nod, it’s the fact that between the broken check in and key dispensing machine, the poorly thought through layout and total lack of amenities, I was left wondering why we were paying 150/night. And the description of the hotel MUST be revised on booking.com.

Pros: Location, pool, great views of Toledo.
Cons: No wifi in room. Informed reception at 4pm said they would fix it but said the room was too far from reception and signal always poor. 9.30pm still not working. New reason it was raining ? Offered room change at 9.30 ?. They should have reduced the room charge. Not handled well by the staff. Cleaning in the room was poor. Very dirty under the bed. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel with an 8.6 rating. Tried this hotel for a change will not stay again - reception staff ??
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is big but felt really homely. Rooms are really nice. Grounds and views are amazing
Cons: Nothing all was very good
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Fantastic location and the back drop to the swimming pool was like a pictic post card perfect. Food was second to none. Our daughter was ill from the ferry and the waiters helped her pick out some food which she could eat and keep down. Theh split the main menu down to a childs portion and charged 5 euro al a carte style. Great with the dog. Only down side was we couldn't take the dog near the pool area but can every where else. Would highly recommend. This to anyone travelling from santander. It was a 4 hr drive but worth it. The roads were excellent and its a must to go into toledo old town.

Pros: Wow what a find. Going to book 2 more nights on the way back to Santander
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect place to stay just on the outskirts of the city. Good restaurant with a good set menu if you don't want to go a la carte. Good wine list, well priced. Pets welcome...just don't be put off by the disclaimer for the pet you have to sign on arrival
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stay there every year on our way to our house always Good
4,8 Okay
Cons: Staff was quite unhelpful. Breakfast was a mediocrity, almost ludicrous for a five-star hotel, with industrialized orange juice and a poor choice of cold cuts. Facilities seem quite dates, the last renovation probably took place some twenty years ago. Pricey and definitely not worth your dollar...

Pros: Location, staff and room decoration
Cons: I am a dust allergic and I had a hard time there, even if everything seemed clean, it was dust for sure. The silicone between the shower tiles was black, so it gave the impression that the shower was not clean.

6,8 Good
Pros: Location is central, clean and basic hotel experience, if that's you thing. Parking is near by.
Cons: No terrace or roof area for hotel, no view, staff not very friendly depending on who's on duty. Don't take the breakfast option you can find it outside the hotel for less than half the price also sitting area for breakfast is almost the same for the waiting area designated for the hotel reception. not the best experience. They charges us Euro 12 a day for parking, quite heftily for a small town.

Pros: The hotel is a nice base for a citytrip in Toledo. It has an original and intimate atmosphere.
Cons: The third bed (for a party of three) was very basic and saggy.

Pros: Very sweet woman at the front when we arrived, spoke english, but also responded in Spanish when I spoke to her. Location was great. Double paned windows kept out the noise. View was very nice. Room was nice sized and very clean. Wifi worked great.
Cons: Breakfast was spendy and the coffee there was bad. But there were several places within walking where you can get breakfast for under 3 Euros each. For that reason, I don't understand why it was so expensive to get the breakfast at the hotel. It was 8 Euros a person and it wasn't super fancy.

Pros: It was perfect and really a surprise Beautiful decoration , bed really comfy and value for money excellent. A pearl in the middle of the old town .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and fresh!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.

Pros: The decor and style of the hotel and our room was fabulous. Staff was lovely. The breakfast buffet was delish and the coffee bar excellent.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect and unique hotel in the center of the old town. The staff was super helpful and very kind - also spoke perfect English (which we can't say for other hotel's in Spain). The room is spacious, the bed is amazing and everything was flawless.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful new hotel with a calm, classy, stylish interior. Staff is spot-on, super-friendly. The room was perfect, spa is amazing and the overall experience was flawless.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with history. Excellent location. Beautiful lobby and rooms feels luxurious.
Cons: If you are driving there, GPS can really get you lost if you make one wrong turn. If GPS reroutes you it doesn’t know that some streets are to narrow to fit a car.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: Staff were frequently missing from their stations and rather unhelpful on advising on city’s dining options.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staffs were all friendly. And, we could enjoyed our stay in Toledo.
Cons: It might be very difficult to get to the Hotel on foot even from the City center. Taxi might be the best way to get there. If they provide guests with a free shuttle service from and to the City Center or Renfe train station, I would give the Hotel 100 % satisfaction.
7,5 Good
Pros: location and beautiful big bed
Cons: The unfriendliness and lack of professionalism of the staff
7,3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7,3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7,7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7,3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Without doubt the best breakfast we have had in a hotel there was a great choice . All the staff we had dealings with were outstanding . The hotel was kept really clean
Cons: The scrambled eggs and sausages, were not up to the standard of the rest of the breakfast, ( although these are difficult to prepare for a buffet breakfast). The pillows on the bed were poor had they been better I would have given a higher rating on comfort.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good position opposite the bull ring. An easy walk to the walled city. Nice clean hotel.
Cons: The building is surrounded by other buildings and consequently didn’t really have a view. There is no evening dining facility and although the breakfast room was really clean and well presented the choice of food was a bit limited.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay to visit Toledo. Staff was very helpful with a personal issue we had to attend to. Private parking. Old city walls just 10 minute walk away. We would stay there again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was as expected.
6,3 Good
Pros: Huge room and bathroom (superior). Extremely clean and with good bed and pillows.
Cons: Location rather scruffy outside. Inside no facilities of any description . Dining room only used for breakfast and if you wanted a bar had to use the restaurant next door which had access from the hotel and possibly belonged to them but not an attractive facility.
7,5 Good
Pros: We stayed in Hesperia Toledo for three nights and the location of the hotel is ideal for easy access to the 'old town'. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of 'healthy options'.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a balcony and chairs with a view of the rooftops - great for a glass of wine. Beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful. Room architecture felt medieval with the heavy wood doors and red accents, definitely fit Toledo! I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: They should provide hot water kettle in room
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Hot water in the shower!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It's an old hotel with the middle age theme to it so it's what we expected. The parking is right at the next building and we also enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great.
Cons: The water heater made quite a loud noise when it's on but that's not really a problem.

Pros: I loved the location, and the convenience of breakfast upstairs.
Cons: The staff was not very friendly, our room was very dark, dreary and depressing, it was incredibly noisy and sounds in the lobby as well as someone in the next room who had their TV volume up VERY out all night. Our family did not get much sleep.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location was very good. Staff member quite helpful. Room was comfortable enough.
Cons: Parking place inside the hottel too small; and the one outside the hotel is a bit far away specially if you´re carrying luggage in a summer day.

Pros: The staff was nice and friendly, the attached restaurant was great for breakfast, and the location was close to many monuments.
Cons: Although the location was great the hotel was at the bottom of steep hills. The lobby and hallways could use some updating. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast was expensive and not up to the expectation .private parking very hard to reach and to leave because lack of information about how to really open the door if it. Staff and indications are not good enough
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located, clean. Air-conditioner worked well (it was 42C outside), and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The interior design is a bit outdated but apart from that all is great.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location with restaurants nearby. Two ways to get to the historical center: via the main road to Plaza Mayor or the steps. Comedor (dining area) was spacious and clean, and the staff provided excellent service for breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was a good size for our family of four, I seems to remember we had two bathrooms. Enjoyed the included breakfast and attached restaurant. They has a couple of close by parking spaces for unloading and loading of your vehicle. We parked in the underground community lot a few hundred yards away from the hotel without issues. Once parked we never needed our vehicle.
Cons: Was a nice place for a single night, we had no difficulties or issues.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: easy to find. Good value for the money. Great room for large families.
Cons: It was a long walk up hill to the historic part of town.
