Pros: The location is great! The property was very clean and well taken care of. The owners are amazing and made you feel at home.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful owner, perfect location (central yet quiet), comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hostal was everything I like about small family-run establishments. Muchas gracias!
Cons: There’s nothing not to like.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hostal is in an old historical building, so the bedroom still maintains the old traditional historical magnificent features. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Each room has its own toilet and they are very clean. The street is very lively during the day, but very quiet at night, so I slept perfectly and the location is ideal.
Cons: The place has no room to offer breakfast, but there is a lovely coffee shop 1minute walk from there. There is no 24hrs reception, but the host gets in touch to organise check in and check out and is available for any need.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean central very helpful owner indeed . Independent - the personal touch. Highly recommended. Run by a couple from toledo who know the city well. Quiet rooms are indeed quiet.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Toledo, wonderful room with balcony. The owners are very friendly, helpful and ful of tips for dinner, breakfast, what to do ... They made us feel very welcome. I forgot my mobile phone in the taxi. I called Miguel (host) for help. And 5 minutes later the taxi driver came to the trainstation with my mobile phone. You definitely made my day
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We had two rooms at La Posada de Zocodover for two nights. From the time we arrived until the morning we left, Miguel and his wife treated us like family. Every review I had read was correct. Their warmth and helpfulness turned this little hostel into a 5 star experience. The rooms are small but thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Although they do not serve breakfast they sent us a few doors away to La Pepa which was great, and Starbucks is right around the corner. The location was perfect. The first thing Miguel did when we checked in was to give us a map where he circled everything we should see and gave us restaurant suggestions. All were excellent.
Cons: Nothing!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and his wife warmly welcomed us in their hostal in the middle of beautiful historical Toledo. Miguel gave us map and showed us all places where to go/not to go and when. He recommended us café and restaurant, where he and locals go, food was delicious. Thanks to him we knew, where we wanna go, saved us time and money. Our room was perfect, super nice, super clean and quite. There was a small bow with candies, sorry Miguel we ate all chocolate. Our stay in Toledo was awesome, big part of it was thanks to our stay in this hostal. We are very much looking forward to come back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is centrally located in old Toledo in a really cool building. You are a short walk to so many historic places to visit. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. I slept so well here. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and helpful. They even contacted me before I arrived with ideas in how best to get there from the train station. It was really nice. Miguel Angel and Gemma (the owners) clearly take pride in making this place welcoming.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and Gema are so welcoming and generous with their time and local information - all Miguel’s recommendations for sights and restaurants were great. It’s position right in the heart of old Toledo could not have been better - everything was within an easy, lovely walk. Whilst small, the perfectly quiet room was beautiful and traditionally furnished with a gorgeous enclosed balcony and a lovely outlook onto the cathedral and street below - perfect for people watching! Excellent, reliable WiFi and air conditioning. Room daily cleaned and stocked with toiletries, bottles of water and delicious little chocolates. A perfect home from home!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Miguel, was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our trip. He always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We also loved the location of the hostal.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast very minimal.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We hadn’t visited Toledo before and had chosen this hotel due to its fantastic location - and we were thrilled we did, wow right next to the Cathedral in this beautiful city :). The owner couldn’t have been more helpful, helping us lock our motorbike away in the garage underneath the hotel and was always available in an understated way - perfect for us. Great continental buffet breakfast on the top floor overlooking the cathedral, we also took a glass of wine up to the terrace the previous evening and watched the sun go down behind the cathedral - so memorable. If we ever return to Toledo this will be our definite choice of hotel - big room, immaculate and stylish even though we’d opted for the basic double, maybe we were upgraded? We had shutters opening onto the street from our first floor room (split level property, really characterful), and there was the all important air conditioning on a hot June night, along with the huge super comfortable bed this gave us a great nights sleep :) thank you for a fabulous experience :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I ask about accessibility: I was having knee problems. It was good to know that I could have an accommodation most accessible. My knee behaved well on the trip - I was able to climb the steps to a first floor room easily, enjoy that balcony and enjoy the breakfast room photos and food. It worked out well, i did appreciate the pre-trip communication.
Cons: My room was a bit too hot, but it was possible to open the window. Not a big deal, but it would have been even nicer cooler I did have a 'heads up' that it would be warm in there. Older dwellings aren't uniform.: part of their charm but not always convenient It was worth any inconvenience!

Pros: Great location, nice decor, great view from the breakfast room.

Pros: The staff very polite and very professional . Great location. Amazing deco. Nice selection of drinks . Very quiet and romantic
Cons: The views from the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor. Helpful, smiling staff at reception desk. Central location. Calm and quiet.
Cons: More light at th bedsidefor reading
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, very attentive, friendly and efficient. Lovely decor, good breakfast. Restaurant was excellent for lunch.
Cons: Wine list in restaurant could be more extensive. We had a premium room which was well appointed except it would benefit from dispensing with the bidet and instead having a dedicated shower stall rather than an in-the-bath shower - there is room in the bathroom to include a separate shower if the bidet is removed. Finally - minor gripe - but the bar/breakfast room/main salon music is a compilation of covers well known songs - which were pretty much murdered by the cover artists - play the originals if you’re going to play anything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great conditions and room facilities. Delicious breakfast. Great discount policy.
7,3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7,3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7,7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7,3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.
8,0 Excellent

Pros: The location is good. In 2 min they have a public parking. It’s very comfortable when you came by car. The room is nice, clean and a new one as I feel. They have a terrace with a great view. It did work because it wasn’t a season. But still the view is wonderful. Also I had a breakfast. Nothing special but good. And I really enjoyed my visit.

Pros: The hotel could not have been more central. However that meant it was important carefully to follow the directions for getting there as it involves entering an area controlled by mechanical barriers. The hotel staff were very helpful looking after our frozen Christmas turkey!
Cons: We were very pleased with our experience. The only problem for us was nothing to do with the hotel. It rained incessantly the night we were there!

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Toledo? This hotel features 2949 square feet (274 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The terrace is wonderful, great view in the day and night. Free parking. Vintage hotel but cozy. Good food but not too expensive (we kinda have to have dinner in their restaurant, because this is no other choice nearby).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular views Great food
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel might not be convenient if you'd like to walk around old streets of Toledo, but its location is rather unique and for a reason. The view from the patio of the hotel is stunning! you can have a bird-view of the whole Toledo. The view is no where else to be found and definitely renders the hotel worth staying. The building of the hotel is also filled with history and stories, old but the inside of the building has been renovated anew to become the hotel. You definitely want to include the breakfast in your booking as not just because you might find it difficult to find somewhere else for breakfast (given the unique location of the hotel) but the breakfast is excellent. Plenty of choices including local delicacies and more common cuisine. Strongly recommend.
Cons: Getting to/from the hotel might be a little tricky if you're not driving yourself. From/to the train station, it takes about EUR 8 for a taxi ride. Public transportation is also available (No. 71 bus) but not that frequent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location My bed The restaurant
Cons: We stayed only 1 night
10,0 Excellent
Pros: great
Cons: portions bit small in the meals. Also wine very expensive! Also, peddle bin in bathroom didn't work properly, annoying!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Views were spectacular
Cons: Nothing
7,7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall
Cons: Some staffs were very very rude. Which ruined our stay overall. The person working at the reception was rude and also at the breakfast cafeteria.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location! The Mirador del Valle (the viewpoint of the valley) is a little better for photography - however the view from the Parador terrace is around 80 to 90% of that view. The view from the Mirador del Valle is better because while the Parador is almost directly above (a few hundred feet uphill) from the Mirador - there are trees on that side of the hill which obstruct the view a bit from the Parador terrace. However on the plus side you can be sipping wine on the Parador terrace and have a great experience. In our case, we checked in to the hotel around 12:30 pm and went to Toledo town for lunch & sightseeing (Cathedral) by taxi. On the way back we stopped at the Mirador del Valle for 5 minutes (keeping the taxi waiting). Then we spent the evening on the terrace/cafe sipping wine as well as eating sandwiches/desserts. Overall the hotel facilities are good, rooms were good/spacious even if not outstanding.
Cons: The location outside town means that the eating options are limited to going to the Toledo town or the hotel restaurant. Looking at the menu, the hotel restaurant did not seem to have many vegetarian options (if there were any). We had to make do with the vegetarian sandwich in the cafe.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: A very clean, bright room, quiet. Reception desk is on a ground floor, to get to the your room you need to go to down -1 but your room is on +1. Cannot figure it out? You definitively have to stay in Hesperia, it is a nice hotel ! I did not try breakfast in the hotel. In the close neighborhood some bars offer a very good choice of real Spanish menus.
Cons: The parking was 10EUR/day which was not announced in the booking.

7,7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall

Pros: Friendly and helpful owner, perfect location (central yet quiet), comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hostal was everything I like about small family-run establishments. Muchas gracias!

Pros: The owner, Miguel, was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our trip. He always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We also loved the location of the hostal.

Pros: The location was perfect in the downtown area The room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. Parking next-door was very easy, and was discounted from €20 to €14 for hotel guests. The front desk staff was very helpful in planning our tour through the city, as well as with any questions about our stay.
Cons: The room was air-conditioned, although it was a struggle to keep the room cool. The temperature outside during our stay was 108°F,
9,7 Excellent
Pros: We had a corner room on the 2nd floor that gave us a great view of the plaza and a nearby street from our balconies. We especially enjoyed watching the people on the plaza going about their daily lives as well as the two demonstrations that took place during our stay. The hotel was conveniently located so we could walk to all of the attractions that interested us. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions even though we speak no Spanish and they sometimes had to struggle to understand us.
Cons: WiFi was a bit weak in the room. It was faster in the lobby.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and view from the room balcony were amazing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with amazing decor. Fantastic location. Awesome breakfast
Cons: Nothing
7,0 Good
Pros: Hotel is perfectly located in a middle of the Old Town.
Cons: Perhaps it was just our room, but we felt like we could hear every use of a bathroom by other guests. First we were woken up by someone taking long bath at 3 am, than by some crowd showering and leaving around 6 am. It was not a good night rest at all.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: They have the posibility to "upgrade" your room paying a plus for night; if there is availability when you enter; to a room with a view wich i higly recomend as the terrace (small or big ) depending on the type of room (there are 3 types of upgrades with diferent pryces) highly improves the experience and is beautiful if you are going to spend a little time on it. Also they have ( depending on availability and one per costumer) the posibility of choosing a viscolastic pillow between 4 types ( 1-soft/medium-2 & 4 /hard- 3-) with diferent caractheristics i went with 4 and it was really really comfortable and i slept really well. The staff was really kind and helpful and help me in everything. This service has to be asked for before 19 or 19:30 couse the persons that managed it leave then. I give enormous importance to this service & i seriusly think gives a plus to the comfort in the sleeping experience without having to pay anything more.
Cons: The only flaw was on the breakfast the eggs on the second day were cold (i could not even touch them) and the bacon place was empty for the entire hour that i was eating; also i had to wait 10 minutes for napkins, fork & knives couse all the tables were used & there were none. Althought the rest were fairly fine. Fruit. Croissants, bread, yogurt etc
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a balcony and chairs with a view of the rooftops - great for a glass of wine. Beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful. Room architecture felt medieval with the heavy wood doors and red accents, definitely fit Toledo! I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is just perfect! Walking distance to all the interesting locations. Hotel is nice, medieval style! Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ok and reception staff friendly.
Cons: Room service is a bit limited and their staff not really helpful. A/C only worked on heat, we couldn’t get the temperature to get lower inside the room.
