They honored my vehicle choice. The car was not available for three hours after my reservation. They did not provide any compensation to the inconvenience of the delay. They only provided an option to call their hotline.Reviewed Oct 29 2024

We never got either a car or a person with Kayak to address the situation. Our planned trip was long distance to a remote area. We intentionally rented a gas powered vehicle, and when we arrived, all they had available was electric with insufficient charge. We tried both calling Kayak and working with the online system, neither of which would accept our reservation number or connect us to a human being. We ended up contesting the charge with our credit card company...and never got to take our trip!Reviewed Sept 30 2024

On arrival to pickup reserved car was told no available cars ( this was trure for 6-8 other people arriving to pickup cars) and expected wait times would be 2-3 hours. Since prepaid only option for refund was going through expedia. when that was done I went yhrough multiple calls and call menus without being able to talk to anyone who would listen to me before transferring me to another call menu which never worked. Since I was unable to reach expedia for refund I had to wait 2 1:2 hours for rental car. rest of process worked ok BUT I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR THROUGH EXPEDIA(KAYAK) AGAIN or PROB NOT FROM THRIFTY EITHER!!!!Reviewed Sept 28 2024

They charged me $17.65 for 2 gallons for gas even though I filled up the car right before I brought it in just 3 miles from the drop off location. Scammers! The car was completely full! Their process for trying to get a refund for fraudulent charges is ridiculous. They have no one you can even talk to on the phone. They’re liars and thieves.Reviewed Mar 19 2024
