8,0 Excellent
Pros: Room very spacious & clean, smooth check in.
Cons: We had to ask for robes as stated on website, was told they didn't put them out but provided very quickly when pressed. We had a 45 minute wait for breakfast & only received 1 egg instead of 2, however the food was delicious & the staff seemed very stretched serving a full hotel, they remained polite even with limited people.

Pros: Very Pet friendly. It is the only place I have ever been that I was asked why I had left our dacshund in the room rather than bringing her down at suppertime.
Cons: Very little. Some of the carpets in the main hallway were patched and could do with replacing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff were nice in the bar and when the evening meal arrived it was lovely..
Cons: Staff were really nice.. Maybe just a little slow. Our evening meal order went through the till apparently but didn't get to the kitchen!! Waited an age.. As we did for breakfast!! Unsure why because when it arrived half was cold. The hotel has a lot of character but needs updating desperately in the rooms.. Stairway leading to the rooms was beautiful apart from the great big piece of gaffer tape keeping the carpet together.. The bedroom.. Cracks everywhere all over the walls.. Needed a good paint.. The small sofa was ripped and the bed was two halves joined which sagged in the middle...

4,0 Okay
Pros: Room was lovely and bright and clean. Great location in Tetbury and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: We were above the kitchens so there was a strong smell throughout the evening of chip fat, the corridors outside the room were the worst and opening windows etc did not make any difference. We were also disturbed throughout the night by a couple arguing in a neighbouring room until 4am which we appreciate is not the fault of the hotels, but it made us have a terrible nights sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We visit The Ormond about twice per year. Always great service, lovely food and helpful staff. Clean and relaxing.
6,0 Good
Pros: The ambiance
Cons: No parking facilities. The bedroom was cramped and in the attic and the noise 24/7 woke us continually.

Cons: Leaving!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were outstanding. Suite was generous. Breakfast amazing. Arrived as guests, left like family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a shame that we can only give 5 stars because we want to give more! The welcome, the service, the general atmosphere is second to none. A beautiful little home from home with even more beautiful hosts, we couldn’t fault if we tried.
Cons: The only thing we disliked was that fact we couldn’t stay longer!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house. Excellent hosts. Personal touch. Great location. Nice breakfast. Nice change from a hotel.
Cons: Comes up on some searches (google) as a 5 star hotel. It's not a 5 star hotel it's a 5 star B&B.

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean and our stay was excellent value. The food was lovely in the bar and at breakfast. They had provided a travel cot in our room as requested. The staff were friendly and polite.
Cons: We were traveling with our three month old and the hotel isn't very accessible for a pram. The staff were very accommodating but we would have preferred a room on the ground floor given that we had requested a travel cot for an under 1 year old and there are no lifts.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were super clean, the beds good quality & comfortable, very cosy decor - country florals & Scottish check patterns. Staff were cheerful and attentive, & the (included) breakfasts were delicious. We loved the views over the valley.
Cons: The loo roll holder in my bathroom was broken.

Cons: Rooms are abit dated and quite noisy from the waterfall and main road nearby .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, spacious room and faciltities. Large, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast.
Cons: Our bill initially had someone else's snack order attched. Quickly removed when we queried it though. Low beams in our room/bathroom(room 11) husband 6ft 1inch and kept forgetting!! Fine for me at 5ft 2inch though.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Very poor WIFI speed Extractor fans in bedroom and bathroom did not go off after 30 mins - there is a isolator switch that can turn them off manually My room was in an annex next to a external door which was busy and noisy at night - my ground floor room had external lights outside near the front door which are on all night - no curtains in room only blinds which did not block out light
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, atmosphere and the lovely historycal building. The staff was also very nice.

Pros: Not a lot really
Cons: Floors creaked everywhere, could hear other room noises and corridor traffic. Small tv, bed creaked, cheap pine furniture and bed, dirty net curtains, windows and marks on walls. Breakfast Ok but would like to have been able to have self service. Compared to most of the places I have stayed in it was not value for money but centre of town.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The menu in the restaurant was excellent - not over long but with an interesting range from pub regulars to imaginative fish dishes. Some really good local beers. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of choices, especially the full english breakfast. Without exception the staff were friendly and welcoming; attentive without being over attentive. Our room was large and well appointed.
Cons: The only small down side was the weak shower in the en-suite bathroom, but having a bath went some way towards compensating for this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, even though they were fully booked, they still reserved us a table for dinner, just in case. Both dinner and breakfast were really good.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The beans at brakfat (homemade?) were not to my liking.

Cons: It would have been nicer to have a slightly larger double bed! Otherwise no complaints.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pub with great food, full English breakfast was very nice with superb homemade beans.
Cons: Minor things, TV too small in the room and no plugs for phone/ laptop without having to unplug lamps etc. Still won't put me off from going again!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful and friendly. The situation is also suberb in a lovely village in a lovely part of the UK.

7,0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, very accommodating and pleasant staff. Room was well laid out and comfortable. A small point but the wooden coffee stands were innovative and greatly admired. Easy and plentiful car parking.
Cons: The bathroom was not particularly warm and there was a residual smell of foul water/sewage which detracted from the overall package. A certain amount of paint was missing (flaked) from some walls The floor for the room above was very noisy when the occupants were moving and needs re-fixing to eliminate the problem
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy and the decor was beautiful.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The staff were the best part of this stay - especially enjoyed the affable barmen's banter, but the food and the accommodations were also quite comfortable and cozy. Loved the country modern style.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Nice room, big bed, bedroom well set up. Good beer garden
Cons: Check-in was very poor: I arrived after 2PM to be told no check in before three and staff then walked off. Overall, the whole staff showed little interest in genuine customer service, they just went through the motions. Service in the bar was very slow because there was only one barman (the duty manager) and he was also doing all the other management jobs. Food prices were at or above average for pub food but the food quality was below average
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location it’s beautiful and the room was very clean.
Cons: The staff wasn’t really professional. The water in the shower was cold and the breakfast disappointing.
7,0 Good

Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely food, great staff, super location
Cons: Small double room has just enough floor space, but the double bed is directly against an external wall which was really cold.
7,0 Good
Pros: The room was quite small but adequate, with coffee and tea facilities. There is only a hanging rack for clothes, no cupboard, but that is fine for one night. I had only the basic breakfast, but they did go and hunt for some orange marmelade.
Cons: The staff was a little off-hand. I felt a bit like an intruder, an interruption to their activities. On that basis, I would not book again in that place, especially since there are a few other hotels in the neighbourhood.
7,0 Good
Pros: There was a good choice of breakfast, and the food was good and generous portions.
Cons: Our bed broke on the first night, was mended the next morning, then broke again the second night. We were given a new room for the night, and a new bed was put in that morning.

Cons: Nothing really was a tad noisy but for the price no complaints

Pros: It was a lovely stay, not much to do but that’s exactly what we wanted. A lovely hotel and lovely staff.
Cons: Only one thing. On the Saturday night we had dinner in the restaurant and then went into bar. There was myself and my husband and another couple by the fire enjoying their drink. Pros: Dinner in the restaurant was good but not outstanding. Fish starter had very little fish. Breakfasts were good Other nights we wanted to eat in a relaxed atmosphere so opted to eat in the bar. We were disappointed at the number of dishes that were not available to order.
Cons: Choice of food available on Saturday and Sunday nights

Pros: Room was lovely and bright and clean. Great location in Tetbury and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: We were above the kitchens so there was a strong smell throughout the evening of chip fat, the corridors outside the room were the worst and opening windows etc did not make any difference. We were also disturbed throughout the night by a couple arguing in a neighbouring room until 4am which we appreciate is not the fault of the hotels, but it made us have a terrible nights sleep.

Pros: The ambiance
Cons: No parking facilities. The bedroom was cramped and in the attic and the noise 24/7 woke us continually.
