A stay at Star Hostel Taipei Main Station places you in the heart of Taipei, within a 15-minute walk of Ningxia Night Market and National Taiwan Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
Pros: all of the facilities are fabulous!!!
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the staff was excellent at communication in both English and in Mandarin Chinese. They are very meticulous in keeping the hostel's kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms very clean. I am a solo traveler and I found the hostel to feel safe and secure for myself and my belongings. The lounge was the best part of the hostel stay - it was difficult to get myself to leave the hostel after spending a large part of my day working in the lounge, full of pillows and bean bags, in such a big open, airy space and a fun treehouse to relax in. There are also nightly activities that the hostel puts on such as movie viewings and Nintendo Switch games in the lounge for people to hang out and interact with each other. There are many small details that have made my stay nice and comfortable, and will definitely use this hostel whenever I return to Taipei.
Cons: The WiFi can be spotty at times, and in addition, the hostel's location near Taipei Main Station is excellent for cross-country train rides. However, to use the Metro subway takes about 20 minutes to go underground and get to the Tamsui-Xinyi Red Line and the Bannan Blue Line, so it can be inconvenient if you want to go out and explore the city. There are also only 2 showers, 2 bathroom stalls, and 3 sinks for the two female dormitories that host up to 8 girls each and so the wait times can be lengthy.
Pros: Such a great place!!! They have a huge lounge area where people can hang out anytime. Family friendly too. They have a “tree house” I wanted to climb into it too.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable, and huge plus in having bed-assigned lockers + privacy curtains. Wait staff was accommodating and helpful even for my late check-in. Bathroom facilities were also well maintained and had all needed amenities.
Pros: Breakfast was not really good..
Cons: Fantastic lobby and super friendly staff
Pros: Staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast is honest and simple, healthy. Water pressure fr the showers is great! Surrounded by eateries great for both breakfast and supper. Very clean appreciate the Asian concept of keeping shoes out of the living areas esp on rainy days. Rooftop has a nice garden. Plenty of recreational space for relaxing.
Cons: Bed too soft for comfort (we had the double bed).
Cons: The dryer didn't work
Pros: Super modern and clean, lots of nice touches
Cons: Some low thresholds for people over 6'
Pros: People at the front desk were especially nice and helpful, and they speak English very well. The shared spaces are every clean and comfortable (so is the room). It feels like being invited to a friend's house. The hostel proposes activities every night. The train station is very close and there are a lot of restaurants in the same street.
A stay at Mandarin Oriental Taipei places you in the heart of Taipei, within a 15-minute walk of Taipei Arena and National Taipei University. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. This hotel has 10 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: I can’t believe that after a third stay at a five-star hotel, the staff at the front desk surprised me. The information was either wrong or my previous check-in records were gone. The attitude of the front desk staff made me very uncomfortable. I feel like I am an unqualified guest, treat me like a thief and follow me
Pros: The Mandarin Oriental Taipei fulfilled our expectations - and then some. Classic building, great service, smiles everywhere, spa and breakfast were also top notch. Throughout our various travels, one of the rare occasions where the hotel was the star & highlight of the trip (on top of Taipei being a great city to visit!). Location is not central for a tourist, but taxis are always waiting out front, and the 5~7 minute walk to the MRT station (which has great connectivity) was quick, joyful and peaceful. Definitely our home away from home in Taipei going forward. Last but not least, a very special thank you to William at the check-in desk - one of the most thoughtful, flawless, true- and warm-hearted greetings ever at any hotel.
Pros: The hotel is stunning as are the rooms. The staff are very attentive and recall little things you discussed even the day after. Breakfast is amazing and stunningly presented.
Cons: The wifi has to be paid for in addition to room rate which seems quite ridiculous considering how much the nightly rate is.
Pros: The people in the hotel were very kind. It has everything that you may expect from a five-star hotel.

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Total experiences was great.. We booked Horizon club room to check in on 36th floor. Get room earlier like 12 noon. View of Taipei 101 is really stunning on our window bedroom. BF, cocktail during 17.30 is ok not much many selections but all good. Drink also great, full of Sparking, Red, White wine, whisky, spirit and beers. Thank you for warm welcome with a nice rose, bottle of wine, box of chocolate for our anniversary occasions. Great choices for us indeed. :)
Cons: Location is a bit far from MRT, but free shuttle bus service is convenience for me to go shopping and MRT. Have to call taxi back to the hotel for return route but not a big deal for us.
Pros: Everything is perfect
Pros: It was very clean and well maintained. The front doorman and the reception's staffs at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It is 15 min cab ride away from the Sungsan Taipei Airport and lots of major attractions and shopping malls are within 15 min cab rise away including Taipei 101. The roof top outdoor pool has a great view of Taipei city and Taipei 101.
Cons: It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The closest metro station is 10 min walk away but not good when the weather is 29-30 deg C.
Pros: The receptionist at lobby - Veronica is very helpful and cheerful, went extra mile and get us early check in, really impressed. Bar is nice. Swimming pool is great.
Cons: level 6 breakfast food and beverage staff - most of them do not care about customer service. No smile at all. Not impressed. Staff customer service I have received is inconsistent- some are good, some are really bad - which is not ok for 5 star hotel at all
Pros: Horizon Club was great
Cons: Location not the best and some areas of hotel tired
Pros: Good facility
Cons: Not close to train station
Cons: Nothing to mention. If I have the chance I always try to book shangria la.

Pros: The in-room onsen tubs are great. The setting is of Japanese style but spacious. Very relaxing just stay indoor.
Cons: limited food variety from the three restaurants. However, the free shuttle bus commutes easily to city center where basically has everything!
Pros: An absolutely incredible experience. Pure professionals that take pride in their work. Every part of the experience was held to the highest standard.
Cons: Nothing. We loved every second. It’s worth every penny.
Pros: Perfectly stayed in perfect combination of traditional and contemporary decor. Best place for either relaxing and refreshing your body and soul.
Pros: The decoration, the cleanliness, the view of the museum, the hot spring spa inside the room, the free snacks and drinks, the restaurants, and the staff are all outstanding.
Cons: Should have more shelves for clothes, a low table for suitcases, etc.

Home hotel is now on my top list, they did not only provided a great stay but an extraordinarily experience with a love Taiwan spirit. Thank you Home Hotel~!
Pros: Convenient location. Also use Taiwanese brand Cha Tzu Tang, good coffee n tea ... etc.
Cons: Better to improve the English for staff who are at mid night shift.
Pros: It was well advertised on IG & social media that’s all.
Cons: There is no attraction near by, no public transport nor train to go to the nearest attraction you have to take a cab.

Cons: Need more sound proof.
Pros: Location is about 5 mins to the Taipei Train Station
Rooms with nice modern deco and design
Huge TV with cable TV and VOD (No extra charges)
Fast food restaurants just opposite (Macdonald's KFC), they will help you order MacDonald's breakfast on request.
7-eleven, FamilyMart and Cosmed nearby
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Laundry facilities available for free (washing machine, dryer)
Pros: everything, the location, the staff, the facilities....etc
Cons: the bedsheet could be a little cleaner
Pros: The room is clean, and the location is good. The staff are friendly.
Cons: Nothing particular
Pros: The location considered okay, walking distance to 台北地下街. It did provided the free self service laundry washing machine and dryer machine. If you are hungry during nights and days they did provide some snacks, coffee, drinks or even the cup noodles during late night. The front desk service teams does great work by giving us good service.
Cons: We noticed the bed not considered clean, maybe due to the hotel considered operated certain years, it do required to do some upgrading and find any alternative to clean the bed. We found our skin itchy after get up from bed.
Pros: There is a pantry/laundry room.
Cons: Room is too small. Probably won’t stay there again.
REGENT TAIPEI Offering among the most spacious and luxurious hotel accommodation in Taipei, alongside a dazzling array of signature dining and lifestyle amenities, Regent Taipei combines some of the best experiences of this modern metropolis with timeless hospitality traditions.
Pros: price was good for decent hotel
Cons: There are other hotels that pay more attention to detail in terms of service, cleanliness, etc, but more pricier. This is a good hotel for the price.
Pros: Great Hotel, with lovely and attentive staff! Thank you all for making our special occasion really special and separate thanks to Adilia for all the attention and care! Definitely we will come back!
Pros: Clean elegant convenient location and very friendly helpful staff
Cons: Not now
Pros: Luxury hotel with very nice staff. All the staff there are very nice and with good attitude. Room is spacious, neat and tidy. ~5mins walk to the metro station. Taking Uber to attractions aren't far away as well.
Special thanks to Olivia, Guest Relations Manager, she helped to make a very memorable celebration.
Will definitely consider it if heading back to Taipei again.
Cons: My room was next to the elevators, some weird noise was made all the time, not so loud tho.
The exterior is a bit old, I was a bit deterred due to this reason before booking.
Cons: breakfast for kids charge as the same price as adult. All dining restaurants has no privileges for in house guests
Pros: I felt that this hotel was very clean and paid attention to detail concerning Viruses that are going around. They used a thermometer as we checked in. Although there wasn’t early checkin the hotel held our luggage until we could get into our room. The staff frequently cleaned the public areas. When we had issues with the room, the staff was prompt to fix the issue and take care of our concerns. The staff helped to book taxi’s and make reservations for dinner/ lunch. They had a candy cart for children and although we did not utilize the other activities or events there was a lot for children to do at the hotel. FYI you need a 2 day notice for childcare which would be nice to have listed on the website. With our upgraded room, we had the breakfast buffet. It consisted of Asian and WESTERN cuisine. There was an omelet counter , fruit and salad bar, and a baked goods counter that was more of an American style breakfast.
Pros: Location & shops
Cons: Stairs going to basement. Low corridor ceilings. Bed was too high. Too noisy in the lobby / podium area - more like a shopping centre than a 5 star hotel.
With a stay at Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei, you'll be centrally located in Taipei, within a 10-minute drive of Ningxia Night Market and Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Taipei? This hotel has 807 square feet (75 square meters) of space consisting of a conference center and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had some problems regarding the noise in the room and miscommunication with the housekeeper. However, after the incident, we were given a suite room where we stayed comfortably the rest of our stay. The toilet was probably the best we came across in Taiwan. the location was great.
Cons: The room we initially booked (superior double room) was rather too small. small double bed. and we had some noise issue. Though, it was quickly resolved by the staff. Also, the swimming pool was closed for the season.
Pros: The location is good
Cons: The price of the room is really expensive
Pros: Great location and room service! Very helpful staff.
Pros: Staff was very friendly; the location was perfect. The hotel was good value for money; the rooms were big and very comfortable.
Cons: Attention to details of the room cleaning, found hairs on the chair and coffee was so so, would have been good to have a coffee machine, that guest can make their own coffee.
A stay at The Landis Taipei places you in the heart of Taipei, just a 5-minute walk from Xingtian Temple and within a 5-minute drive of Taipei Fine Arts Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and limo/town car service. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff lived up to its reputation as being both friendly and helpful. Also, we visited the Shangri-La while in Taipei and glad we stayed at the Landis. The other hotels had an industrial feel and totally impersonal. Will be returning.
Cons: The only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but not a deal breaker.
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at The Landis--it will now be our "go to" hotel in Taipei.
Pros: This is a very elegant hotel with a wonderful layout. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, with spacious bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredible. They all displayed high quality customer service and were extremely helpful, from getting us taxis to helping us find local places to eat as well as suggestions of where to go to see things in Taipei. The breakfast was very well organized and had a mix of western and Chinese food. One of the Manager's Johnny was very kind and respectful and always made sure that we were happy. The whole stay was amazing and would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taipei. For the service and amenities this hotel offered I believe this was an excellent deal in terms of cost. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
Pros: An old dame that's aging well. While the hotel can't compete with its newer 5-star counterparts, it really holds its own, and has been beautifully renovated over the years. Nothing shouts fancy of extravagant, but the hotel offers some tiny little thoughtful touches not seen at other hotels. What to do with the leftover soap? Why not bring it home? A tiny little plastic bag is provided for just this reason. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and courteous. And for those who choose not to dine at the hotel's restaurants, there are plenty of places to eat nearby to suit all budgets, including a large number of convenience stores.
Cons: Not all rooms have been renovated. I stayed in a smaller room that was facing the main road (very recently renovated) and a larger one facing the park in the back (older, with carpets that could use a deep-clean).
Pros: excellent service, good but busy location..
Cons: buffet breakfast is not as good as used to be, compare with my last year stay.
Pros: The hotel has a selection of impress restaurants and the staff are incredibly helpful.
Cons: My room required refurbishment. The carpet was worn and marked and the furniture was chipped. The air conditioning didn’t respond very quickly and I was a little cold at night.
Pros: I always stay at the Landis when I visit Taipei. The service is excellent, the food is good and the staff friendly & competent. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is great. It is very much like a boutique hotel, if that is what you enjoy.
Cons: The gym equipment is a bit outdated! Only complaint.
Pros: Good location. friendly staff always willing to help.
Cons: Set breakfast , not to the level of the hotel...and price! They should offer a buffet breakfast.
Pros: Despite being an older hotel, The Landis Taipei is an excellent place to stay. The design is very thoughtful and user-friendly, especially the rooms that have been renovated more recently. The hotel is clearly many decades old, but it is extremely well-maintained and seems to have been periodically updated. I like the many subtle thoughtful touches, e.g. the plastic bag provided to bring hand soap home. Despite being located on a somewhat busy part of town, the rooms are quiet. There are many places to eat nearby, including many budget-friendly places. The service is top-notch, with the staff clearly being very well-trained.
Cons: I stayed in 2 different rooms: a smaller one and a corner suite. The smaller one facing the main road was cleaner and newer, while the larger room facing the park in the back was a bit less polished, with stained carpets, and also dusty cups. I would've given the hotel a perfect score had I not seen the less-than-perfect suite.
Pros: service was excellent, location great
Cons: neighborhood didn't have stores that were of interest to walk to.
A stay at Roaders Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, a 3-minute drive from Red House Theater and 8 minutes from Lungshan Temple. Pros: Good location and comfortable room
Cons: View from window
Pros: Cozy, clean, great location, friendly staff, free snacks
Pros: Only thing I did not like was the size of the room. Most rooms only fit to travelers who travel alone or in a small group. Everything else was more than excellent. I would come back for sure!
Pros: Great location! Short walk to the airport train, Taipei Main Station and MRT. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Bed was super comfy and the shower water pressure was amazing. Free snacks and drinks in the lobby is a plus!
Cons: The room was very small, but I hear this is typical for Taipei
Pros: Convenient location and friendly staff
Cons: It will be perfect if the rooms were brighter
With a stay at Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei, you'll be centrally located in Taipei, within a 5-minute drive of Huashan 1914 Creative Park and Taipei Arena. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Goid location nice quality older feel about it
Cons: No spa no sauna or steam room staff friendly but English not so good massage 75 euro crazy price 20 in local spa
Pros: breakfast was great! location was great too.
Pros: Great and very central place to stay in Taipei. Wonderful breakfast with served options, but also a very large buffet. A very stylish hotel with wonderfully friendly staff. Convenient and quiet room. Car parking is valet. We received a little present upon checkout (a tea light), nothing of great material value, but so nice.
Cons: As usual you can have a view or a quiet room (we opted for quiet and quiet it was). Don't forget anything in your car, it's safe, but a little bit complicated to get it (valet).
Pros: The breakfast menu is great, the hotel location is the best.
Cons: The bath towel is kind of old, not soft. The bathrobe is too small. The turbo SPA of bathtub is not working.
With a stay at UINN TRAVEL - Hostel, you'll be centrally located in Taipei, within a 5-minute drive of Taipei Botanical Garden and Lungshan Temple. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: All the staffs were kind and helpful, the room was a big crowded for 10 people. However, they changed towers everyday and made my bed, and free breakfast, coffee and juice, all of those made it way beyond my expectations!
Cons: Suggest the staffs can accompany the tenants to the room and make sure no one sleep on a wrong bed.
Pros: Place is clean and staff were very pleasant. Breakfast available but the same everyday re coffee, tea, juice, boiled eggs, toast. Good enough to start your day. Laundry is a plus. We would stay here again.
Pros: Extremely clean hostel, very polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite basic but can't expect much for a meager price. Definitely value for money.
Pros: Clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Different range of activities from the hostel, eg. tours, movies, popcorn, etc (thought we didn't participate as we're only there for 2 nights). Staff were friendly and check in was easy.
Cons: It's further than I thought to the station. Next to main road so it can be noisy if you are a light sleeper.
Pros: comfy beds everything you need is provided, and the room was very clean, during day time the staff clean all room so perfectly, I could enjoy comfortable environment, helpful and friendly evening counter staff(some guests pointed out that access is not good, but in my case, not noisy at all)
Pros: I don't have anything to dislike.
Pros: Context: I stayed in a dorm-type room. The room itself is spacious (has room for a small table, and a smaller room to the side with a bigger table. The place feels like something you would find in Japan - sleek, modern look, sturdy floor-to-ceiling bunks, hot water in the shower on demand, nice beds. The juice dispenser is a big win for me. They don't use just some powdered juice - they have the pulpy kind of concentrate (at least for the orange). Quite near to a few konbinis, bus stops, and they will provide you a map with interesting places nearby. It's on the south-ish part of town - on one side, this place/area with low buildings is quiet. On another, it feels as if you'd have a bit of a commute to get to the interesting parts of Taipei. Has a small bar with local beers. Friendly and knowledgable (in the sense that they know the area around) staff. They use RFID cards for everything - don't lose yours.
Cons: The first two points are more preference than anything else. - Pillow is on the soft thin-ish side. I like firm thick ones and I tend to side-sleep so I had to fold it in two to ensure a a non-stiff neck the next morning. - No bidet, but the water closets are well-stocked with tissue paper. Water dispenser at the ground floor acts up at times - it dispenses warm water even if you're pressing the lever for cold water.
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and had good facilities
A stay at Finders Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, a 3-minute drive from Red House Theater and 7 minutes from Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Overall it was good value for the location, a short walk from the station and popular tourist destination. It was in a quieter location, but still felt safe. Decently clean.
Pros: Great location.
Pros: Clean hotel and friendly staff. Simple breakfast options are included. Easy to reach other locations in Tapei through the MRT and main station.
Cons: The location is a bit boring and the room a bit too dark because of the color choices (in addition to no windows for the cheaper rooms).
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Hotel entrance looks scary, pillows & sippers quality not so great. Breakfast items gone super quick and no refills at all.
Pros: - Comfortable shower in bathroom: nice shampoo, good water pressure etc - Good mattress - Limited supply of 茶葉蛋 in the morning which is yummy
Cons: - Too expensive, $1000 hkd per night - The room is decorated with black wallpaper which gave me a damp and unclean feeling. Cannot relax at the first night. It is very small, not even enough for 2 people to walk at the same time. - One of the two beds face the door.
Pros: the location is good and the lobby have free instant noodles, drinks, snacks for enjoy 24hrs, Room is not as big but has all we need,we very enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The lobby was kind of small. But that doesn't really matter as we didn't stay at the lobby much anyway!
Pros: The decor and the location
Pros: The property is very well handled, the location are good, the cleanest, the bar restaurant...
Cons: I forgot to mention at check out time that the TV of the room 508 that has some malfunction, the display become white and don’t show the colors after 15/30 minutes watching the tv.
Pros: Excellent staff, nice and extremely helpful. Very comfortable room.
Cons: Not much really.
Pros: Location. It is very close to Taipei Arena.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It is beautiful, classy and full of history. But some facilities are too old and need updates. It took a long walk to get to my room. since I had knee joint problem, it was a painful experience.
Pros: Breakfast is excellent. Location though is quite far but they offer free shuttle from the hotel to the MRT. Food is expensive and is not worth the price but it is a good thing that they have also have Family Mart inside the hotel.
Cons: Expensive food.

Cons: im sure, yes. My family like it.
Pros: Historical building. Traditional Chinese. Good service.
Cons: Location is bit away from the action. Too many local weddings and functions going on all day
Pros: View of the hotel and shuttle bus
Cons: you have to pay when you check in and Fee charge is12.5%when you pay foreign currency if you use foreign card. Reception staffs are not well trained, they didn't explain to you at all about the fee charge .please be careful when you are asked to pay for anything before you sign.
Pros: There's a bus to take you to and from the airport right to the hotel for approximately $3. It's convenient to get to the National Palace Museum, a fabulous museum of Chinese art. The restaurant is OK, but we enjoyed the club restaurant which is on the campus.
Cons: This is a hotel catering to tour groups. We had a small room with nice bath, but it was on the inside so no windows. We used the concierge who went out of her way to help us but the front desk was less helpful.
Situated in the heart of Taipei's new and dynamic business district, Grand Hyatt Taipei is conveniently located within the World Trade Centre complex and adjacent to the Taipei 101 Shopping and Financial Tower. The hotel has direct access to the Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall and is a short walk from popular shopping malls and entertainment venues. The hotel is 20 minutes by car from Taipei World Trade Nankang Exhibition Hall.
Pros: 위치. location
Cons: coffee pot and hair dryer's functions are bad.
Pros: Staff is very friendly and proactively asking what they can help. Location is great being next to key shopping area and 2 metro lines. Lots of restaurants and a movie theater nearby also. We found some dust on the desk and night stand. When we told the front desk, they send someone to clean right away.
Pros: Perfect location! Taipei 101 is just 2 minutes walk. Staffs are very friendly and helpful!
Pros: Excellent Food Outlets inside the hotel
covered bridge access to Taipei 101 and other attractions
slight walk to night market but good exercise for the street food
Excellent service and really helpful staff
Pros: location and breakfast
Cons: food in the dining room does not match the price

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Huge and comfortable rooms. The buffet at the restaurant is great and there is a lot of choice. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is perfect to get away from the city.
Pros: I love the tea table and tea set. The Japanese layout overlooking the sea view is uncommon and very enjoyable.
Cons: The drain in the shower is clogged and water takes a very long time to clear. The attached automated toilet seat is also non-functional.
Pros: Nice view, bed is ok.
Cons: Terrible breakfast, but room service is perfect.
Pros: Big room, clean beds and bathroom
Cons: Terrace was full of water so we couldn’t enjoy sitting out there. Clean facilities at first sight, not so clean if you look closer. Still good though!
Pros: Pretty much everything. It's good for family.
Cons: Despite being a 5-star, no early check-in or late check-out.
Pros: Big comfortable hotel with high quality room fixtures, linen etc. Nice view and a welcome break from downtown Taipei.
Cons: Liked everything but would point out that you only really need a night or 2 to sample the area of the wharf.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Pros: Great breakfast. Free coffee & snacks all day.

Pros: Nice breakfast. Great location.
Pros: mostly chinese but some european/continental options rather small selection
Cons: bike system seemed not very efficient and bikes are in poor shape
Cons: forgot to provide toiletries.
Pros: Excellent hotel! Quiet area only 5 minutes walk to convenience stores and local restaurants. Free shuttle bus to and from Tamsui centre & MRT Station which is very useful as there’s not much to do around Fisherman’s Wharf. Nice room with very nice big bathroom. Free laundry facilities, complimentary coffee and sodas in the foyer. Nice staff, good breakfast, very good tv - big list of latest movies in English. Oh and there is even free bicycle loan. This was our favourite hotel during our whole stay in Taiwan.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Airconditioned too cold and cannot be adjusted...
Cons: Weird breakfast
Pros: Everything. Spa bath and very spacious room.
Pros: There is a little terrace/garden outside our room. It is nice. However, the day we were staying is raining and windy hence we have no chance to enjoy the terrace/garden. The room is big and the bathroom is huge which is useless.
Cons: The breakfast just so so. We added TWD 100 asked staff send us breakfast to have it at room. But the breakfast just 2 bread (not toast), egg, ham (dry), two small pieces of chicken nuggets (dry), green salad and a coffee. By paying TWD 4,650 for a room like this, I would say it is not worth.
Pros: The rom was clean and the tub was awesomely great!
With a stay at Hotel Day Plus Tamsui, you'll be centrally located in New Taipei City, within a 5-minute drive of Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf and Fort San Domingo. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Awesome breakfast with great diversity and tasty selection of items. Staff was pretty friendly. Close to Shalun night market and many bus lines that take you to Tamsui station but still a 40 minute walk or 150 TWD taxi from the station.
Cons: The fitness room is laughably basic -- just a single treadmill and that's it. The rooms are nice and well-appointed although the carpeting is a little strange. No separation between the bathroom area and the sleep area.
Pros: Corner rooms with two windows are amazing, from some you can even have a bit of a water view. The hotel also has a free 2h bike rental and a pickup service from Tamsui MRT station (unfortunately I got to know that only upon arrival).
Cons: Nothing really to complain about, maybe that the soundproofing of the rooms could be better, and the "gym room" could have something else except for only one running track (there are 2 Xboxes though :)
