Overview Reviews
In the heart of Strasbourg, a stone's throw from the Cathedral, the Cour du Corbeau hotel, a member of the MGallery collection, combines history and modernity. In a setting that dates back to 1528, this 4-star hotel elegantly combines the charm of yesteryear with a more modern feel, giving its 63 rooms a unique identity. Guests are invited to step back in time and follow in the footsteps of Marshall Turenne (1647) or travel incognito like the Prussian King Frederick the Great in 1740
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Walking distance to the cathedral and to La Petite France
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located and great hotel.
Cons: Impossible to drive to - about 20 minute walk from railway station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Historical setting. Beautiful building, modern interiors, gorgeous breakfast, friendly staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is a best in StrB !
Cons: due to a hotel close by the school so you can find busy noise during the morning but it all good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is perfect in every way. You are on the river, across the bridge and so only steps away from all the major historic sites in Strasburg, but still you are not in an area that is noisy or congested. The hotel itself is built into an historic inn, where a slew of important French personages spent the night, including kings. The Historic elements have been preserved, but the hotel itself is utterly modern and totally luxurious. On top of it, breakfast is divine, although you should know that they don’t have a restaurant for other meals.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel in a storybook city!
Cons: Perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff from the front desk was super nice, and recommended us a delicious local restaurant. We were upgraded to a big room on 2nd floor. The room was well-equipped with coffee machine and other facilities, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep. Hotel arranged a baby cot for our 2-year-old girl, which was sweet and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect Staffs are super friendly and helpful Comfy bed and nice room
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Central location
Cons: To park the car was a challenge and we ended up in a nearby public car park, which was not a problem but I wish we were guided there in the first place!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful for strolling in the Cathedral, Petite France, and the quai areas and is convenient for bus and tram access. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The bar and light meal menu is a welcome feature and the food was good. Breakfast selections were varied and quite extensive. Our suite was attractive and charming. The historic renovations capture the feel of the building while modern touches allow the old world beauty to shine.
Cons: The hanging style shower spray requires quite a technique in a lovely tub that was a tad "slippy slidey". Some sort of grippy mat would help.

Cons: Noisy air-condition and the lift small and very slow.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: This was the first time that I visited Strasbourg. Without knowing anything about the city, I booked my stay at Hôtel Gutenberg. The location is centrally located The Cathédral Notre Dame de Strasbourg was no more than 150(est) meters away. The part of the city that is located on the island is walkable. There is tram service if one desires. I walked from the train station to the hotel and estimate that it was 15 minutes (I walk fairly quickly). If I return to Strasbourg, I will consider this as my first choice.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location great, once we got there. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fab location, excellent room and parking.
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent. A wide choice of very good food.
Cons: The bathroom felt a little dated. A walk-in shower/ wet room would have been more in keeping with the hotel's 'spa' identity.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel was located on pedestrian area and closed for car access at late mid night. It was hard to find the hotel on navigation even!!! Hardly found the hotel... Night shift manager was useless snd helpless when we arrived to the hotel at late mid night 02:30 am. He told us neither there was booking on our name nor room available to offer us. It had been hard to convince him that I had paid booking on my late arrival. In fact We had put as a remark that we would check in late between 02:00 to 03:00 am. I had back to my car to get my mobile and shown him my booking confirmation. Finally got the room at 03:30 am after one hr efforts. I think; either hotel management and booking.com must improve their booking service Or hotel management must change their nihht shift manager and assign someone who is polite and helpful as such person will ruin their reputation... The stuff at reception in the morning was kind and allow us one hr late check out at 01:00 pm instead 12:00.
7,4 Good
Pros: Staff was helpful and accommodating. It would have been a great location if coming by bus or train.
Cons: Very difficult to drive to. We had difficulties finding the property with GPS. Fortunately we were able to find parking as it was a Sunday night. Otherwise you will have to pay for valet parking. Room did not have a view, and was a looked a little dated.

5,7 Okay
Pros: The location, the installation and design of the lobbies and rooms (excl. bath-room)

7,3 Good
Pros: The hotel was so conviently located in teh beautiful area of Petite France, amoung beautiful old buildings, flowers and the water. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants close by.
7,0 Good
Pros: The room was large and comfortable, with windows that opened and we had a toilet in a seperate room We were literally above water flowing under our room (Strassburg is known as the Venice of France). There was a computer set up downstairs to access the internet free.
Cons: The breakfast was quite expensive for a meal when you don't actually feel like much to eat (22 Euros per person) so we ate at a cafe literally around the corner from the hotel for a fraction of the price. Wifi in the room was also expensive, so we didn't use our laptop, just the public computer downstairs.
6,0 Good
Pros: great location and very pleasant staff
Cons: bathroom and toilet needed better ventilation. no water provided

7,6 Good
Pros: This is a fine hotel.
Cons: The designers were more interested in design than in comfort or practicality. The bedlamps are charming but do not cast sufficient light for reading. The mirrors are ludicrous. One cannot see one's face or hair in a triangular mirror. As so often, the shower faces in the wrong direction, spraying out into the room.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location. The terrace And the room even my room is small but well arrangement
Cons: Seem nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Size of room was fantastic. Location was only steps away from Notre Dame Cathedral. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Check in/out was a breeze.
Cons: The only somewhat negative was that we had to park in a public lot which was a long way from the hotel so we had to shuffle some items around in our luggage so as to only have 1 bag to drag through the streets to the hotel. But given the layout and age of Strasbourg and location of hotel, it was to be expected and was really not a big issue.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff, particularly Megan, gave us outstanding service. The location is right next to the Cathedral and all the attractions in the historic center. Could not have asked for more. The rooms are small, but as frequent travelers we don’t need a lot of space and basically just sleep in the room. Outstanding value!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic - the cathedral square is just outside the hotel and all the lovely old town areas are within easy walking distance (we could see the cathedral from our room window - picture attached). The staff were wonderfully helpful, providing us with excellent suggestions for eating out while we were in Strasbourg. The buffet breakfast was very fresh and offered a good range of tasty items. The building had all the charm of a lovely historic building but the bathroom was completely modern with excellent plumbing (not at all often the case with old buildings!). The room was extremely tight, with very little space indeed to move around in it, but it managed to squeeze a surprising amount of storage space into it, at least for a couple of nights. All in all it was a really lovely place to stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING. This hotel is superb. We can’t wait to return. Thank you to all Hotel Suisse staff.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful and assisted me in a time-sensitive problem by offering their own solution. Breakfast was good, location and room view were superb.
Cons: The room was much smaller than I had expected. In fact, it's the smallest room I've ever had. I have no idea what the other rooms look like, this was a single room, but still.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really in the heart of the attractions with a view on the Cathedral
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms extremely small. I had to take a junior suite
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Exellent breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice.
5,3 Okay
Pros: It is designed beautifuly. Good location
Cons: Room too small. No place for suitcases. Thin blanket not acording to weather, we slept with our coats. Shower too small, got all wet. Needs a curtain on bath.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location was perfect and Hotel Suisse is a nice hotel, very good value for money.
6,3 Good
Pros: The location was very good to central downtown activities.
6,0 Good
Pros: Hotel is very central located, close to main city attractions, easy to shops restaurants and the river, you can even find underground parking only few minutes away. Main receptionist spoke many languages, night staff was very helpful, generally hotel has a very good friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Only thing is that the bed in our bedroom was a bit short and small. if you are more then 6.2 foot (1.89 m) tall, you might find it uncomfortable.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is very well located, nicely and romantically designed, and the staff is friendly. The only problem we had was that the romance somehow detracts from confort: there is an elevator, but guests have yet to climb a few stepts up and down, and the rooms are small.

Pros: Comfortable room, wonderful jacuzzi bath, free coffee machine, very friendly staff, parrot!!
Cons: Nothing much at all - maybe better shower provisions (shampoo and conditioner)?
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff members at Hotel Beaucour were so helpful and friendly and were happy to give us recommendations. We stayed in a Family Room which was very spacious and had little touches in the bathroom that were like staying in a luxury hotel. But best of all, the location of this hotel is fantastic. Highly recommend.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very nice room, good facilities, very good breakfast, honesty bar, parrot!
6,3 Good
Pros: In central Strasbourg. Everything within walking distance. Asked to change room and staff were very accommodating. New room much better.
Cons: Room overlooked street. There were deliveries from 3am which meant it was extremely noisy and made it very difficult to sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this hotel. The location is excellent. The hotel is really quirky and I loved the decor. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If we return to Strasbourg we would definitely book this hotel again.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location!
Cons: The charge for breakfast (which they made seem like it was included) was exorbitant and it was not appealing at all. If we’d known they were charging 16 Euros per person for that breakfast, we would have certainly skipped it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. My family and myself were really happy. Parking is just across the road. Hotel is literally few yards from the city centre. Will be coming again next year for sure

Pros: Great boutique hotel in perfect location in Strasbourg. We loved the décor in the room, as well as the fact the toilet/shower were separated - made traveling with two couple easier.

7,4 Good
Pros: The Room was great, and the location was great as well
Cons: The restaurant is way over price... specially the breakfast was way to expensive decided to cancelled because its like a cheap continental breakfast buffet but you are paying for 18-20 euros I could have something way better
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, newness, great bed
Cons: No anti-skid on showerfloor
7,1 Good
Pros: The hotel is very nice and the location great with the tram stop nearby. During our stay the garage gate was not working so we could park inside for free which is also a good plus. The pool was fantastic although personally we would have preferred the water to be a bit more warm. The Jacuzzi and jets were great and also the fact you can make free use of the towels. Also the choice of TV channels was perfect.
Cons: The room was very nice and clean and spacious. However the carpet in front of the bathroom door was dirty with some sticky stuff which is not nice to see as soon as you enter the room. In fact, for the duration of our stay we had to cover it with a paper napkin not to step on it. Also the booking included bathroom accessories. However, We did not find any on our arrival and I had to go to reception to ask for them. She only gave us one bar of soap and shower gel each, when I could see that she had a lot more items in the drawer (probably toothbrushes and toothpaste, items for shaving etc). Paying €120 per night I would have expected a complete bathroom pack since you would not bring any with you when you read that they should be available. Good thing I never trust Hotels in this matter and got my own things... Also there was only ONE hanger in the wardrobe.. One for two persons.... which to be honest is a disgrace.. I also asked reception about this and she confirmed that yes, there is only one available.. and what am i supposed to do with a wardrobe and not hangers??? Finally the coffee making facilities - I would have expected to have china cups or mugs not paper cups as if I am in a low cost Travelodge Hotel, and especially since there is so much talk about reducing pollution and reusing things.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Great access to tram running to Old Town and central square.

Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Rohan places you in the heart of Strasbourg, steps from L'Oeuvre Notre Dame Museum and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Small but interestingly decorated bedroom. Fun lobby. Lovely front desk and restaurant staff.
Cons: Shower flooded the bathroom floor and, if I had not thrown all the towels down, it would have flooded the bedroom as well. They were surely aware of this as the shower head was positioned facing the wall. Once it was turned to focus the water downward, the flooding began. Room 308.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful modern decor throughout the hotel lobby, bar and room. It was comfortable and really well located (n.b. it is in pedestrianised part so you can't drive up to it). Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There's nothing not to like here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, very friendly ans service oriented. They kept my luggage secured for the day as I arrived early for a work meeting and when I came back, the bag was already in the room. Of note I was upgraded to a superior room than the one I had booked and enjoyed a tremendous view on the Cathedral. The central location is also great as the hotel is virtually near everything in Strasbourg.
Cons: The breakfast was OK but not over exciting : a normal continental with eggs and bacon. Knowing that Alsace has a number of local cold cuts specialities (bratwurst, ect), it would have been nice to be offered a small selection. Likewise, it is to bad no berries juices were offered though it is also a local treat.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good tea and coffee in room. Great cleaning staff
Cons: You need a cheaper breakfast with more choices.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is unreal, just steps away from the Cathedral.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location and design
7,5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, they explained us a lot about the city. Location was great
Cons: Our bedroom had a chair with many puppets ( around 30 puppets ) it was supposed to be as a decoration or thy trying to be very hip or trendy. The problem was that puppets were very dusty and dirty. Not very attractive. Nevertheless the hotel was very nice, fantastic location and amazing staff.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Two things only. The location was very good and the staff were good but some of them not professional.
Cons: The maintenance of the premises was very poor. We where three guests in two rooms at level two. When we arrived on the first night in late afternoon, we checked in and our rooms where upgraded by the hotel and where given two rooms at level two. Rooms where very small and no drawers at all in the room. The safe in both two rooms where out of order and did not work. No one even bothered to correct this problem. We where told that this problem was historic. The web site clearly states that the rooms have safety deposit boxes. No fridges in the rooms. Breakfast was very poor. On the the third day the coffee machine packed up and could not have coffee in the morning. The next two days was the same, no coffee. On the the fourth day, the machine that boils the eggs packed up. No one can have any boiled eggs. The fifth day was the same. No eggs on the table as there was no working machine to boil them. The breakfast was the poorest I have seen in my travels around the world. It was feeble and unbelievably poor. My self and my wife paid nearly 1000Euros for 5 nights inclusive of breakfast. I will never go back to this hotel again if I visit Strasbourg once more. This hotel and services should be rated a three Star at best. Never a four star. Although the staff where few numbered, they tried to do their best and were very polite and helpful. I do not have the habit to comment on the the hotels I stay in as they come up to my expectations. But in this case I had to write my above experience through out our stay. I may add that the the other guest in the other room who accompanied us from thousands of miles away shares our findings above.
6,2 Good
Pros: Clean. Check in was easy and staff was helpful.
Cons: No air conditioning! We were on the top floor in 90 degree weather and it was like an oven. Hardly slept at all it was intolerable. Also insufficient parking.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: This place was in an ideal location, right near the cathedral. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: It's too bad that there's not more parking on-site, but also not really surprising considering it's smack-dab in the middle of the old town. I parked at a garage near the train station and walked in, and that was fine.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: As cycle tourists our greeting upon arrival was less than welcoming.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, just in front of the cathedral. Friendly service, the facilities were amazingly comfortable.
Cons: Location and staff.

With a stay at Hôtel Vendôme in Strasbourg, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Covered Bridge and Tomi Ungerer Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed, good air conditioning, clean updated rooms. Convenient across from train station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel just opposite the railway station. All sightseeing at a walking distance. Nice stuff.
7,5 Good
Pros: Personnel was friendly, the room was clean, the position was very convenient for tram and bus connections and just a few steps from the center
Cons: One night we didn't have hot water, the morning after the staff apologized for the temporary problem (I indeed believe that this almost never happens) and gave us a little discount Internet connection was not too fast
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location, cost-benefit, silent room and nice staff.
Cons: A thin glass separates de room from the toilet, which makes you uncomfortable if traveling with more people.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super helpful staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were comfy. Located right across from train station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was always friendly and smiling; the room was neat and clean. Bathroom was clean and modern
Cons: None
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: It was very frustrating that there was barely a bathroom door. I was staying with a male friend (I am female) so he would have to leave the room when I needed to use the bathroom and vice versa because the glass "door" was just a sliding panel that hardly slid and was partly see-through and did nothing to hide the noise. It was very uncomfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location at train station. Helpful staff. Room tiny but perfect for our needs. Cannot beat price.
Cons: Liked everything.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly nice about the fact that we were traveling with our dog Yara. They provided us with a spacious room so she had enough space to sleep. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There is public parking around the corner and you’ll get discount which results in costs of €11 per day. Breakfast is okay for €10 per person, but downstairs in the cafe next door you can get a cheaper breakfast and sit outside. The price of the hotel is really good for what you get. Everything looks much better than in the pictures. The bed is really good. There are plenty of cushions to choose from. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place.
Cons: WiFi really was terribly slow and not working sometimes.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Small and simple Hotel in neighborhood of main station. Quiet. Nice new small bathroom. Bed was good.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location near the train station and an easy walk to the old town. A no-frills hotel, clean and pleasant, for a good price!

Cons: The bathroom was very picturesque, but I do prefer having a shower over a bath.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Room was clean

6,7 Good
Pros: The area is good, nice, calm ,15 minutes walking to the center, with good restaurants a good cafe and bakeries. free parking some streets away.

9,2 Excellent

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Strasbourg? This hotel features 614 square feet (57 square meters) of event facilities.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. The bedding and towels/robes were very plush.
Cons: When we arrived we were given a room on the 2nd floor. Once we had unpacked and settled we realized there was loud construction going on in the rooms adjoining ours. After bringing it up to the reception woman she offered us a room on a higher floor that had, for the most part, been refurbished. The room was much nicer and definitely quieter. The whole lighting system in the room is based on motion detection and although I was shown how to operate it we never did get it right... meaning all the lights in the room would come on when one of us got up to use that bathroom in the night. Not at all user friendly!
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Builders working above my room. Using jackhammers and making trrrible noise.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, professional staff, very clean room & bathroom, Room & bathroom were tight but this is quite typical. Excellent location in center of old part of city near pedestrian streets. Public parking nearby was not overpriced.
Cons: Shabby carpet in room.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location was great and the breakfast was very good!
Cons: Very old building, overpriced
4,6 Okay
Cons: nearby renovated the next room there was a terrible noise
8,3 Excellent
Pros: the Clarins products in bathroom...
Cons: the shower, with several taps for various outlets it was very difficult for a person reliant on spectacles to work out which tap operated which shower head and temperature of water. Also the door to bath/shower was hinged so it opened outwards, when you pushed it open it was difficult to get out of tub as the toilet was situated too close to the glass panel. I am of average build and weight, early 70s.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: Despite booking two rooms, and being charged for both... Since it was just my wife and I, they would only give us one room. This was fine since we didn't need the second room, but you certainly can't bill a customer for something they did not receive. Either, adjust the charge or give me my second room! The front desk clerk said he would talk to management since it was a non-refundable booking and get the charge adjusted. This never happened. In the end, I paid for a second room that I wasn't given, despite their promises otherwise. Very shady hotel, do not book.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We booked a room for three people and got a great renovated room with 3 balconies. The hotel is located in the center of the city therefore all sites are very close. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The need to use the city underground parking (if you are travelling by car). Very sophisticated lighting system in the room.
7,1 Good
Cons: 1st floor seems to have all the not refurbished rooms - mother in 5th floor had excellent room refurbished
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place, love the window opening onto a balcony
Cons: You will need to catch a cab as you cannot drive to the hotel, rooms beautiful but a bit too warm
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is located at a walking distance to the Strasbourg railway station and near to the Christmas market. The staff were friendly. It was my first time in Strasbourg, and I really enjoyed the cuisine and the architectural/scenic beauty of the city. I would recommend Strasbourg as a must visit place to see the cultural blends.
Cons: I booked a single bed suite and it cost me 124 euros, and there was no breakfast also. So, overall the hotel is very expensive.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Central position, ideal for walking to the main tourist attractions an restaurants. Close to the shops. Very nicely decorated in the main public areas and the staircase has beautiful glass motifs on each floor along with very attractive ceilings and furnishings on each lobby. The lounge is very nicely set out and we were impressed by the decor throughout. Nice touch is the loan of the hotel umbrellas by the main door if it's raining.
Cons: Very difficult to locate as it is on a non- motorised traffic street and the satnav in our nearly new Volvo XC60 was totally useless once we reached the centre of the city. By luck we parked in the correct underground carpark accessed by the tram interchange at the Klber Square And a short walk to the hotel thereafter. The hotel will provide you with a discount ticket for the underground but we were not certain that it worked for us on leaving yesterday morning so remember to ask reception for the discount ticket. We understood that the hotel has its own carparking facility and when we asked about this we were told that it had to be booked at the same time as the room.
