Overview Reviews
In the heart of Strasbourg, a stone's throw from the Cathedral, the Cour du Corbeau hotel, a member of the MGallery collection, combines history and modernity. In a setting that dates back to 1528, this 4-star hotel elegantly combines the charm of yesteryear with a more modern feel, giving its 63 rooms a unique identity. Guests are invited to step back in time and follow in the footsteps of Marshall Turenne (1647) or travel incognito like the Prussian King Frederick the Great in 1740

Pros: The people at this hotel made it a wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice and patient with our young kids. The location was great. The building was lovely. Thank you so much!
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location, and architecture of the building
Cons: Remote bedroom very difficult to access with heavy luggage, coffee machine inside the room not working, room key card had to be change every time. In general very nice for a 2 star even a 3 star hotel, but not what we expect for sofitel .

Pros: Everything. Great location and a beautiful hotel, wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Cons: Nothing.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Old building with character and modern facilities
Cons: Long cobbled walkway make it difficult for luggages
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We did not have breakfast at the hotel. the hotel was IDEALLY located just 5 minutes to the cathedral/central Strasbourg and next door and around the corner and within 2 minutes walk to many restaurants and cafes and shops. it was facing the river although we did not have a view of the river, we overlooked a beautiful courtyard and the room was completely quiet. the housekeeping was superior; the hotel was superior in every way and the staff were lovely and helpful and polite in every way. we loved this hotel and if we come again to Strasbourg would definitely stay the same place. it is a very old historic building but with completely updated accommodation and facilities.
Cons: we were pleased in every way. no complaints whatsoever.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, quiet room, tastefully decorated, historic building, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous, historic property. We saw other hotels in Alsace, nothing compares to this as far as ambiance, luxury and location. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Hotel Manager and Guillaume made sure our stay was perfect giving us genuine, warm attention and assistance when needed. Centrally located, walking distance to all the prime Strasbourg attractions. Excellent parking literally around the corner. An awesome stay, we will be back.
Cons: Justine. She should not be working in the hospitality industry.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for our wedding anniversary and the staff really made a wonderful effort with flowers in our room. The hotel is very handy to the town and also quiet. The breakfast is outstanding with an enormous selection and probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.
Cons: You can’t park in front of the hotel. We found our way to the building nearby where you can park but it would have been better to include instructions of where to park in the booking.

Overview Reviews
A stay at Le Bouclier d'Or places you in the heart of Strasbourg, within a 10-minute walk of Covered Bridge and Strasbourg Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator (lift).
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The additional price for the breakfast is not mentioned on the booking com website, so one can asume it is included but in fact it is not. One have to pay additionally 22 euros for it. Ususally at all other hotels it is mentioned price with breakfast and with no breakfast and what it costs additionally.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located in the very heart of Strasburg. Our stay and sleep were really comfortable. I really appreciate the help of the staff about the dinner reservation and luggage. The suggested restaurant outside was excellent. The parking is paid. The information about it was provided in advanced, so it is ok especially for such a center location. Just not to be surprised. I could not say, the facilities are really new. I did also check the small SPA. It was ok, but nothing outstanding, the same for room. From the reviews and description I expected a bit more from design, but the hotel has this french charm. We had the great time in Strasburg. The Petite France is really few steps, but stay there could be noisy because the strong water floows in the channels, so this hotel was good choice.
Cons: The breakfast was not included, so I did not check it.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent locations in the historic center. Very accommodating staff. Amazingly refurbished old building with exposed beams and antique furniture but modern amenities. Super comfortable bed. The spa services were wonderful and perfectly relaxing.
Cons: Some technology issues could be a bit better, the wifi coverage was a bit weak, the tv network was inoperable, and stronger air conditioning would be helpful if staying during a very hot period. However, the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms more than compensated for these small issues.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast, great staff and great service, wonderful room, great location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This has to be the best place to stay in Strasbourg. This boutique hotel is beautifully restored complete with art work and 500 year old frescoes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner was there, and she provided great personal attention. Rooms and bath are perfect and large. Very nice bar and patio area. Breakfast may be considered expensive but it is well worth it. Some rooms do not have elevator access so one may want to book in a room with. Strasbourg is a beautiful city and well worth visiting. Would recommend it over Colmar.
Cons: nothing

Cons: The carpets may take some shampooing!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: property was in a very central location, lovely l, well maintained hotel. Had a beautiful room that was very spacious. My kids had their own bed upstairs. The spa was a nice addition.
Cons: Breakfast not included in price if stay and was a bit pricey.

Pros: Beautiful room. Appointed with antiques but tastefully.
Cons: We couldn’t get in until after 3 pm. We were beat from traveling so would have been nice to have gotten into room a bit earlier
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms
Cons: Getting close with car is a bit difficult. When leaving the valet could not bring the car to the hotel as there was some special happening and security measures in place. Not a problem for us but with any issues walking might be impossible.

Hôtel Gutenberg - Strasbourg - Building

With a stay at Hôtel Gutenberg, you'll be centrally located in Strasbourg, within a 5-minute walk of Strasbourg Cathedral and Alsatian Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out.
7,0 Good
Cons: Staff grumpy, it's France after all. Wi-Fi doesn't work well at all. Overall not a great atmosphere.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great -right near the cathedral. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Cons: Our room was quite small and hard to get into.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Also, the staff was very nice, We had a gorgeous view from the balcony. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was too hot to sit out and enjoy it.
Cons: The breakfast was okay.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the Cathedral and the river. Within a 15 min walk to Petite France. Staff were very friendly and informative. Room was a bit small but spotless. A walk in shower (instead of over the bath) was wonderful. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Cons: Room was a bit small but have been in worse.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: This was the first time that I visited Strasbourg. Without knowing anything about the city, I booked my stay at Hôtel Gutenberg. The location is centrally located The Cathédral Notre Dame de Strasbourg was no more than 150(est) meters away. The part of the city that is located on the island is walkable. There is tram service if one desires. I walked from the train station to the hotel and estimate that it was 15 minutes (I walk fairly quickly). If I return to Strasbourg, I will consider this as my first choice.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in the best possible location - the Petite France, the Cathedral, the Place Kléber area, the embankments for river trips, and countless restaurants, nice terraces and shopping areas are all less than 5 minutes walk. The hotle room was very convenient, spacious and clean, with coffee making facilities, fast WiFi (free of charge) and a modern bathroom. You could see the cathedral tower from the window. In spite its central location, the room was extremely quiet. Finally, the included breakfast was very good.
Cons: There is not much not to like, and I will probably book this hotel again. My only gripe was that the air conditioning was controlled by a remote, and it didn't work - in fact, you couldn't control it at all. Hotel staff tried to help but they weren't more succesful than I was. Finally, we agreed to disable it completley, which was not a problem because the nights were cool. I don't know whether I was just unlucky, but this is something you may want to check right away, have it fixed the first day if it doesn't work.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Gutenberg is conveniently situated half a block from Place Gutenberg and two blocks from the Cathedral Square. Not only is the location perfect, it is only a 10 minute walk from the central station (and I mean a real 10 minute stroll from a non walker!) the hotel’s breakfast was varied and plentiful at all hours (even at 10am) and the front desk staff extremely attentive.
Cons: I had a single room on the 4th floor, and the bathroom is quite restrictive but it had an enclosed shower (I hate water getting everywhere) and a very cold AC system ❄️
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really good location in the centre of the town. Pretty good value for money
Cons: There is no clear help with parking. The only parking mentioned is the extortionately priced one across the road (€44/day). There is cheaper parking a short walk away that it would be useful to be told about.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel , great location
Cons: Nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a good location and has a very helpful staff.
Cons: The city is active well into the night and the sounds could be heard from the room.

Pros: Location. Good shower. Nespresso machine .
Cons: Lift too small
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location . Awesome location in historic district. Just a couple minutes walk to Cathedral. Clean hotel lobby and room very clean Bathroom very modern and my 10 yr old daughter loved the rain showerhead Has a new renovation feel Staff very nice and helpful as a tour guide ask for the tour map Room size not an issue no its not huge but it wasn't tiny either Ask for parking lot location . Sundays you can park on streets for free overnight if you can find a space that saves $30 Make sure you walk city at sunset it's amazing. I heard the boatride at that time is breathtaking
Cons: My daughter thought elevator door shut too slow. Had to put something!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, a walking distance to city center, but still very quite. Very nice furnished and clean rooms, bed is very comfortable.
Cons: No parking available at site for bigger cars or info for a long duration parking around. Parking along the street is time limited and need to move the car after 4 h. No luggage ramp at the entrance.
7,5 Good
Pros: We had a nice big room and a wonderful view to a church and river
Cons: The carpet floor in the room was full with stains so it made the cleanness not so good. The bar was not good. The breakfast area too small.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very nice bath spacious room Beautiful breakfast room
Cons: Staff didn’t seem interested very like here’s your key and that’s it - Not rude but just not particularly interested - in breakfast room felt bit of an inconvenience lovely hotel building but expensive for locale and maybe expected bit more - but not bad overall - practical choice
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The check-in process was very easy, as was the check-out. Special thanks for taking in our luggage before we checked in - we found it in our room when we got there. The cosmetics were of fine quality. We much appreciated that the hotel kept its eco policy (the towels are not to be changed unless they are on the floor - something many hotels promise but don't execute). Everything was spotless. The breakfast was super good - they had everything one needs to start a day well, including tasty smoothies and delicious American-type pancakes. Plus, the hotel is located just on the outskirts of the strict city centre and easy to get to by tram from the train station.
Cons: Small things: a very noisy air conditioning and placement of lights and power sockets in our room. There was no top light, so to get something on we had to scramble for the small lamps on the sides of the bed or on the desk, and some sockets (notably one by the bedside) were placed in hard-tt-get-to places or looked like they needed repair. The hotel generally looks like it needs some refurbishment,
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was great, but more than I actually need, so didn't do it every day.
Cons: The room for two people was a bit of a squeeze, but the price was great. After my husband left it was perfect for one person.
7,5 Good
Pros: Room design and hotel location
Cons: Unfortunately our room 001 (ground floor) was incredibly noisy. I was traveling with my 13 year old daughter and any guests coming up or down the stairs (some at 1am, others at 7am) could be clearly heard. As a result we slept very badly despite having requested a quiet room. So I guess great hotel if you sleep upstairs. Otherwise not worth the price.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location and design of the room
Cons: No parking by the hotel

Pros: Location is absolutely the best one can get in Strasbourg. Staff is super friendly.
Cons: Scrambled eggs were cold. Every morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Facility, staff, location....5 stars!!!
Cons: The only complaint would be the air conditioning. However, it was very hot in July! The humidity in the room was terrible. The staff brought us two fans and it did help. Other than that....10!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast was not included.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel and our room were stunning! It was just what we needed for a 3 day rest between 2 important events we had in Paris and Frankfurt. Our goal was to relax and that's EXACTLY what we did. Beautiful view! Beautiful suite. Great espresso machine in our room (I had to buy the same one back home). Comfortable bed and bath. 2 TVs! Balcony! Beautiful! The most picturesque and stunning photo of my Strasbourg album was taken from the balcony during sunset!
Cons: Unfortunately, three things disappointed us about our stay. First of all, our car service was not aware of how to get into the old part of the city and we could not get in. We had to drag our large suitcases along the cobblestone streets for about 3 blocks in the sweltering heat to be able to get to the hotel. I wish we had been informed about this or offered a car service by the hotel. Secondly, we wanted to take advantage of the spa services the hotel offered. However, the spa just so happened to be closed the exact 3 days of our stay. What a disappointment! Again, I wish the hotel would have informed us about this. Finally, we arrived during a terrible heatwave only to find out that our air conditioning was not working. Luckily, the breeze on the balcony kept it cool in the evening and we were given fans but we had to keep the doors open while we were out. Despite this, we did receive a bit of a reimbursement on one of the days of our stay and we appreciate that they acknowledged our disappointment and made an effort to make it better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and the service was excellent.
Cons: The bed could’ve been softer.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location and cooperation of the staff

9,5 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION ... and loved our Spa experience!
Cons: No mats in Toilet ... cold to the feet!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location was awesome. Rooms were small but quiet and adequate.
Cons: Breakfast was so expensive that we decided not to eat at the hotel. Every other hotel we stayed at during our vacation had the breakfast priced about 30% less. If you stay there, plan to have breakfast somewhere else.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice size room and comfortable bed. Good bathroom.
Cons: Restaurant is closed on Sundays and bar does not open until 5.
7,4 Good
Pros: Staff was helpful and accommodating. It would have been a great location if coming by bus or train.
Cons: Very difficult to drive to. We had difficulties finding the property with GPS. Fortunately we were able to find parking as it was a Sunday night. Otherwise you will have to pay for valet parking. Room did not have a view, and was a looked a little dated.
4,7 Okay
Pros: location, services
Cons: night front office manager not particularly welcoming
5,7 Okay
Pros: The location, the installation and design of the lobbies and rooms (excl. bath-room)
Cons: The Sauna is poorly installed , and not in line with the norms used in the rest of the hotel. The Sauna was overheated (110°c) and hotelpersonnel would not correct the temperature.
6,7 Good
Pros: the location is perfect, personel nice and surroundings great.
Cons: -
7,3 Good
Pros: The hotel was so conviently located in teh beautiful area of Petite France, amoung beautiful old buildings, flowers and the water. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants close by.
7,0 Good
Pros: The room was large and comfortable, with windows that opened and we had a toilet in a seperate room We were literally above water flowing under our room (Strassburg is known as the Venice of France). There was a computer set up downstairs to access the internet free.
Cons: The breakfast was quite expensive for a meal when you don't actually feel like much to eat (22 Euros per person) so we ate at a cafe literally around the corner from the hotel for a fraction of the price. Wifi in the room was also expensive, so we didn't use our laptop, just the public computer downstairs.
6,0 Good
Pros: great location and very pleasant staff
Cons: bathroom and toilet needed better ventilation. no water provided
7,2 Good
Pros: A lovely spot and a classy modern hotel.
Cons:
7,6 Good
Pros: Lovely rooms
Cons:
8,0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, excellent room, good price
Cons: no
7,6 Good
Pros: This is a fine hotel.
Cons: The designers were more interested in design than in comfort or practicality. The bedlamps are charming but do not cast sufficient light for reading. The mirrors are ludicrous. One cannot see one's face or hair in a triangular mirror. As so often, the shower faces in the wrong direction, spraying out into the room.

Pros: Exceptional hotel, starting at the check-in, very friendly, professional and with a smile... The room was very clean, big enough, there is a fan in the bathroom that makes almost no noise. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, there is an excellent winebar, it's located in the center, parking around the corner, price is more then reasonable, the 2 girls that are taking care for the breakfast are very professional and try to satisfy every customer, they greet every customer with a nice "bonjour" and a smile, appreciated this very much. There is also very visible a heart defilibrator. My choice nr 1 for Strasbourg.

Cons: Had some issues with parking since parking spaces in the area were few and most of them were short term parking for less than 2.15 hrs and cost about 30 euros if needed more
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location!!!!
Cons: Administrator who met us was not helpful and friendly. But her colleague next day was quite the opposite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very quaint hotel, indeed, quite charming. A very helpful staff. Central to Strasbourg. The staff were helpful with our restrained breakfast (just coffee and croissants).
Cons: The room was a little bit cramped, but it was no great problem. There was a bit too much noise outside. Parking facilities were a little bit far.

Pros: Fantastic location, very clean room, charming hotel.
Cons: Small room, breakfast a bit too expensive given the quality and selection

6,3 Good
Pros: The location was very good to central downtown activities.
6,0 Good
Pros: Hotel is very central located, close to main city attractions, easy to shops restaurants and the river, you can even find underground parking only few minutes away. Main receptionist spoke many languages, night staff was very helpful, generally hotel has a very good friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Only thing is that the bed in our bedroom was a bit short and small. if you are more then 6.2 foot (1.89 m) tall, you might find it uncomfortable.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is very well located, nicely and romantically designed, and the staff is friendly. The only problem we had was that the romance somehow detracts from confort: there is an elevator, but guests have yet to climb a few stepts up and down, and the rooms are small.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was the best and very friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Small but interestingly decorated bedroom. Fun lobby. Lovely front desk and restaurant staff.
Cons: Shower flooded the bathroom floor and, if I had not thrown all the towels down, it would have flooded the bedroom as well. They were surely aware of this as the shower head was positioned facing the wall. Once it was turned to focus the water downward, the flooding began. Room 308.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location. Hotel is clean and new. Personal really friendly.
Cons: Nothing at all.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Well located, very calm, friendly staff, clean
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, great location. The only drawback was a weak mattress, but at the end of the day good experience for one person.
Cons: Weak mattress.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is optimal, perfect for a short stay in Strasbourg.
Cons: The shower was not installed correctly, so water flowed out to the floor, one had to hold the shower head, so it wasn’t ver comfortable and I had to mop the floor after the first attempt.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, right next to the cathedral. Easy access to food and drinks. Polite and helpful staff
Cons: Small room (but large enough for one)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The best was the central situation, aside of Strasbourg's Cathedral Also the room with enough space. A really good air-conditioned.
Cons: No frigidair in the room. No ice-machine. Sometimes difficult to obtain ice. Expensive breakfast. Good option aside in the 12 Apôtres.
6,2 Good
Pros: Clean. Check in was easy and staff was helpful.
Cons: No air conditioning! We were on the top floor in 90 degree weather and it was like an oven. Hardly slept at all it was intolerable. Also insufficient parking.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: This place was in an ideal location, right near the cathedral. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: It's too bad that there's not more parking on-site, but also not really surprising considering it's smack-dab in the middle of the old town. I parked at a garage near the train station and walked in, and that was fine.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room size and cleanliness were good and satisfying. Good value for money. Location is acceptable and is near the train station and it is not too far from attractions.
Cons: WIFI (internet) was weak! TV channels were limited and the receiver was not good. The building was a little old. Elevator was so small.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location is right across the station, walkable from petite France. 'local taste' is strong compare to chained-hotel, breakfast room in the attic is very unique experience
Cons: -
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful receptionists, convenient location near the station.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: I was traveling for work and with tight schedule and the location nearby station was very convenient for me. You could easily reach the center of Strasbourg by 10 min walk and any other places you would like to visit by tram. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. unable to assess the breakfast as far as I did nit take it. The staff in the reception was very friendly and helpful!
Cons: I was very hot in Strasbourg when I was traveling and I was missing the small refrigerator in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, very close to the station. Excellent staff who were very welcoming. Room was very pleasant with adequate space. Walking distance to La Petite France, numerous restaurants.
Cons: A bit noisy despite sound reducing windows facing the street. But this is usual for hotels close to a railway station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The pillows were nice, it is good that you can choose between soft and a little stiffer. The sheets were really nice; light yet warm. It is also very nice that the rooms have airconditioning and a window that can be opened. The shower was easy to adjust to the desired temperature and there were enough towels available. The room looks clean and complete.
Cons: It would've been nice to have a little bottle of water available for the boiler; but it was beyond expectations to have a boiler in the room to make coffee or tea in the morning. The finishing touch to the room would be a chocolate on the beds. For those who spend more time on their room than we did it would probably be nice to have a place to sit. But that seems pretty unnecessary and a long shot since the limited room of the room.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: great location near the railway station and the city center, but not right in the middle of all the bustle; I could park my bicycle inside; breakfast was ok (nothing fancy) but I only booked it for my last day; comfortable bed
Cons: elevator could run a bit faster
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location Nice size of the room
Cons: This old facility smells of cigarette odor accumulated over years. Needs new carpet, curtains, furniture, fresh paint...
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Small and simple Hotel in neighborhood of main station. Quiet. Nice new small bathroom. Bed was good.

Pros: Friendly, professional staff, very clean room & bathroom, Room & bathroom were tight but this is quite typical. Excellent location in center of old part of city near pedestrian streets. Public parking nearby was not overpriced.
Cons: Shabby carpet in room.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms were not ready at arrival time.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the centre of city but quiet and very helpful staff. Good free wifi
Cons: There is no reason to complain
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff was excellent, the location wonderful. It's a beautiful hotel and hopefully the renovations will bring it to date. The parking was close by and discounted by hotel. We would return because of the staff and location but would wait for construction to be completed.
Cons: Major construction/renovation going on inside and outside hotel with drilling and constant hammering from 8am to after 5pm. Dated room unlike site stated renovated rooms. Maybe some were renovated but not ours. Doors did not feel secure, walls are poorly insulated. We could hear everything going on in next rooms. Hopefully the renovations will correct these Issues.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location of hotel excellent for sightseeing, variety of restaurants and bars. Staff professional and very helpful. Rooms air-conditioned and beds comfortable. Mini-bar. Bathroom good size. Rooms were assigned on the first floor, these rooms were not yet renovated but very adequate and not sub-standard. Good breakfast.
Cons: Hotel had given us directions to parking facility very close to the hotel that was closed due to annual street market and road closures. New directions to street parking proved pointless as no spots due to masses of visitors. Entire old town cordoned off and we had to finally park about 6 blocks away and carry our overnight luggage via security check points and our luggage searched en route to the hotel. We spent a lot of time stuck in traffic due to the road closures As this is an annual one-day event I was very disappointed that the hotel had not given us pre-warning and better advice regarding the arrival. (We parked at the shopping centre overnight, actually cheaper than the hotels recommended car park, and quite secure.)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was perfect and excellent, the location is just in the city center. The rooms are wide and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. I would come to it again and again.
Cons: No thing
9,0 Excellent
Cons: The WiFi in our room was intermittent.....very annoying. WiFi in the reception area excellent. The duvet, as always, is too hot. Hotels in general should go back to sheets!! The monsieur at the front desk gave me a discount for the Kléber parking lot. Huge saving! The hotel should advertise this! Monsieur was very pleasant. The young, dark haired Madam/ mademoiselle at the front desk was a throw back to the the France of 40 years ago.....cold and abrupt.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and cozy room
Cons: The view
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the easy access to both areas of the city - cathedral and petit France. Nice little bars and eateries close by. Peaceful room, even though it was on a Main Street.
Cons: I appreciate that the hotel is being upgraded so the following may be on the job list: I would have liked a “proper” hairdryer. I would have liked a more robust locking system on the door, but that being said, I did not feel unsafe - at any time!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Bath a bit slippery so a mat would help.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location; newly renovated restoring what clearly represents a storied past
Cons: A/c not working in one room
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Central position, ideal for walking to the main tourist attractions an restaurants. Close to the shops. Very nicely decorated in the main public areas and the staircase has beautiful glass motifs on each floor along with very attractive ceilings and furnishings on each lobby. The lounge is very nicely set out and we were impressed by the decor throughout. Nice touch is the loan of the hotel umbrellas by the main door if it's raining.
Cons: Very difficult to locate as it is on a non- motorised traffic street and the satnav in our nearly new Volvo XC60 was totally useless once we reached the centre of the city. By luck we parked in the correct underground carpark accessed by the tram interchange at the Klber Square And a short walk to the hotel thereafter. The hotel will provide you with a discount ticket for the underground but we were not certain that it worked for us on leaving yesterday morning so remember to ask reception for the discount ticket. We understood that the hotel has its own carparking facility and when we asked about this we were told that it had to be booked at the same time as the room.

Cons: Location is not that much central. Yes, around 8 - 9 min walking distance but the city is small afterall and there were many more central options. Pros: The room was clean and so the bathroom. The bed mattress was fresh and we sleep very good. The breakfast tollally worth the money, many variety of food in the buffet .
Cons: The distance to the petit France and the center by the foot is far about 15 minutes. The connection with transportation is bad so you have to walk. The bathroom was small .
