Really comfortable room and a great sleep. The food was even better than I expected it to be. Quite happy with the location.
Conference rooms are in the basement, making them feel a bit closed-in. Sometimes the elevators are a bit of a wait.
Funky furnishings & wallpaper. Very clean.
Everything was as expected or better!
Great location
Good price and centrally locates to meetings, Pike Market, and all restaurants/ bars
Alia, the concierge, was very helpful in arranging our daily trips!
Proximity to Starbucks, banks, nice restaurants, main attractions, Harbor/Pike Marget restaurants. Best part of town, safest, hotel restaurant awesome. Javier and Ryan, our waiters, awesome! Front desk and doormen awesome! You get what you pay for! Colon also very helpful when we were worried about getting to harbor for Clipper Excursion an hour early. Alia the best employee by faw deserving an A+, but, overall, entire staff friendly and very helpful!
Town car service offered by hotel way too expensive! Homeless walking on fourth street. Never bothered us, but sad, nevertheless.
Great minus room service.
The staff was great and the hotel was perfect. The only issue was that I purchased the breakfast package for our room. The hotel resturants was being remodeled. So the hotel staff said you will just get it to your room, which I thought was great. Well it wasn't I played phone tag with room service for about an hour and every time I called front line staff they said they will have them call us. We received one call and they hung up on the other end. So we didn't get breakfast, but the hotel did comp valet parking because of it so still worth it.
It was clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful - we would stay here again.
Ethan was the business.
From start to finish Ethan and the team at Hotel Monaco were phenomenal. They made my girlfriend and I feel like the most important people to them.
Nothing. It was all great.
I loved the very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good, and quite affordable. Also liked the option of opting out of housekeeping, I always feel I need to pick up all of my things to make their job easier. Was great to just let it be, more relaxing! I would definitely stay there again.
We paid for an upgraded room on a high floor with a city view but our only window faced an office building about 50 feet away across an alley. We could see nothing else.
Hip hotel for sure
I enjoyed the friendly service, fast elevators, starbucks coffee in the morning, and the over all cleanliness of the room. I also enjoyed how quiet everything is from the a/c to the bedroom door to the elevator doors in the hallway. Everything was quiet.
The mattresses could have been better quality. The linens were nice upgrades but the mattress felt like a cheap budget line mattress. Also, the robes that were offered in the closet were gross to the touch. They should be replaced immediately with new plush robes. I mention that because plush robes are advertised as one of the luxuries of staying in that room.
Love the decor
I loved the decorations and the comfortable "living room" downstairs. We sat and read while the kids played chess for about an hour. They also have a wine happy hour but we were always out.
We received an email the day before we checked in giving us some choices on room location, early check-in, bed size, etc. One of the choices was "spacious room" which we asked for because there was 4 of us. We weren't expecting an upgrade but sometimes some of the rooms have a little more space than others. We literally got the smallest room available. There was this big huge wall right next to the window. The other rooms had two windows and the additional space. We really wouldn't have thought much of it except for the fact that we requested a spacious room when asked. My point is, don't ask me and then give me an even smaller room than normal. The other problem was there were only 3 towels in the bathroom. Again, there were 4 of us…We called twice to request additional towels. Finally, my husband found a staff member in the hall and asked them to get us towels. The next day the cleaning person left us 3 towels again. Called to request towels AGAIN, no towels. Found the closet in the hall unlocked and got some towels out of there. I also don't like the fact there is no coffee maker in the room. I don't want to have to get dressed to go down and get coffee. For the price, I would like to have someone respond to my requests.
The place was clean and beautiful... staff was friendly and informative... free wine was the highlight :) food was delicious and well worth the price... it was a really amazing stay and they had lots of extras if you chose to get or do something more
I was really looking forward to sleeping in since the check out was noon... but the maid service started its duties at 9 am... so there went my sleeping in... also... my staying in (do not disturb) card got put under the breakfast menu and I had the cleaning crew come in into my room before I could stop them... even though I had the tag of "conserve and decline maid services" hanging on my door
