Cons: Traffic at the hotel entrance was a nightmare, cars blocking the way every morning and the valet was helpless to it all. Room service was disappointing for the cost. The hotel also seemed quite dated in decor. My clearly old a/c was so loud I had to change rooms.

Pros: The hotel is located in a calm area and really close to many touristic attractions. Thus the location is certainly a big plus. The rooms are splendid, very spacious and comfortable. Our room was certainly what we liked most. The staff was very nice and happy to help with everything. The only small remark which I might have is that sometimes they try to overhelp, which is for someone who likes a bit more of intimate space slightly disturbing. Nevertheless, we would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to SP and wants to have a calm experience of the city and spoil yourself.

Having stayed at the top hotels in São Paulo, and being a well known guest in some of them such as Emiliano and Unique (along with Fasano they are the top 3), I've decided to give Fasano a try. I am actually from São Paulo but I no longer live in Brazil. But in São Paulo sometimes we use hotels to get a break from our homes, or whenever we are renewing something. Now, the facts: We've stayed at the big suite, paying around 1k USD a day. A disaster. The room is worn out, the internet was poor, and the value for the money is a joke.

Cons: The thing I've hated the most was that after all the problems I've had a conversation with the manager on duty. I was trying to make people understand that in any civilized country this relationship would need a compensation from the property. The guy knocked off only the price for the extra bed (not even 100 USD a day) and said he would talk to the manager and get back to me. Never did.

Cons: For a 5 stars hotels, surprisingly no option to make a booking with breakfast included despite the rate is about US$500 and up per night, and if you wish to have breakfast in the hotel it costs around US$34 !!?? Second thing we didn't like, if you go to the bar of the hotel and there is live music, then there will be charged of R$60/person as artistic fee, so half of our invoice was this fee !!!?? Then you go to the room, and you'll not find tooth brush nor hair comb, which are essential amenities!! Although you can ask it from house keeping, we asked 2 tooth brush and we got one and hair comb was not available. In the room there is nespresso machine, however it's not complementary, charge on each coffee capsule R$11 + service 15% !!!!??? So in total it's over priced hotel and should be much much better in return of what's been paid

She helped us make reservations, recommended activities and made our stay so much more comfortable. The location is perfect, right of Avenida Paulista, the place to be. The hotel has a fully equipped gym, which is rare to find.

Cons: The internet service is extremely slow, unstable (drops on an off).
I had to find a virtual office elsewhere for a very important conference call.
I had some other calls at the hotel where the client had to call me at the hotel and another one where they heard most but not all that I was saying.
I called before booking the hotel and they told me they had made improvements 2 weeks ago. When I experienced problems and questioned the staff, they told me that they just added access points but no improvements were mad about speed (extremely slow), not could they control the stability of the internet (dropped connection).
I should mention that even at the virtual office I had problems and had to make a call using international data roaming on my cell phone due to internet problems there too.

Cons: I stayed here a few times over the past years. Sorry to say the standards have dropped alarmingly. Breakfast used to fabulous and varied; now it's mediocre. The reception staff used to be really friendly; now they're moody. The place now has fortress-like security, a bit off-putting if you'd like to have guests over. The street is very residential/dead at night/have to take Ubers. I think the Pergamon Suites is a better option for those looking to be closer to Frei Caneca street where all the action happens

Cons: I arrived early and whilst no rooms were available at that time, I was advised to return around 1pm for a possible early check-in. On return i was asked to wait for 5 minutes then the reception staff made a point of ignoring me until 2pm exactly. Its a shame they could not be a bit more helpful as the room was available already but he just wanted to make a point! The lobby and restaurant were very busy and noisy with a conference function, so the wait was even more frustrating after a long trip. Reception or restaurant could not help in providing change for the taxi. Simple things matter.

Cons: During my stay there was 24 hours full absence of WIFI and after several days again which lasted few hours. That shouldn't happen in 21 st century. The Hotel Management told me it was due to some storm, but during my stay , there was only 1 hours heavy rain, far from storm with winds.
