Excellent 10,0
Pros: My husband and I had an amazing stay at Casa Sol for 3 nights, mid April. I keep thinking back about our trip, And so many of the positives center around the fact of having such a comfortable B&B spot as our home base to explore such a wonderful city as San Juan. The host and hostess and staff of Casa Sol keep the place immaculate! There was no detail missed, and you instantaneously feel both on vacation and at home at the same time. Such a benefit is the fact that so many of the places on your "must see" list while in this historic city are in walking distance -- including the forts, Cathedral, countless restaurants and of course shopping opportunities. My husband and I also think Casa Sol would be a wonderful place for tourists to stay before or after boarding a cruise ship from San Juan as well, as it is only a few blocks away from the cruise ship terminal. The morning breakfast is wonderful and tasty, cooked for us at 8:30 each morning in the relaxing and beautiful open-air courtyard area in this amazing building. Our room (Adoquin) was very spacious. I actually thought it was larger in person than it appeared in the official photos online. The air conditioning and ceiling fan were excellent, and especially welcomed after returning from our walks around the city. There was an antique armoire in the room to hang and store our clothes, as well as a safe if needed. There was adequate lighting, electrical outlets and bedside tables and lamps, and at least one outlet with USB ports. The bathroom was equally spacious. The towels were soft and generous. There was an awesome three-in-one soap/shampoo/conditioner pump product you could use and it smelled so good. The shower head is huge, adjustable and amazing. An extra bonus is that Casa Sol is an environmentally-conscious establishment. I would go back in a second to San Juan, and I wouldn't look up any place to stay other than Casa Sol. Book with confidence! And, enjoy.
Cons: I didn't like leaving. That's the only thing that I didn't like, ha! I would have liked to have just continued living there. Other than that, everything was awesome!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Pleasant and helpful owners. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Very clean with hand sanitizer and shoe sanitizing mat. Bedrooms with armoire, luggage racks, nightstands, etc. Good shower and shelves for toiletries. Fantastic history to the building with open air common area. Location central and walking distance of all of Old San Juan. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The frogs are noisy at night but it is unique to the area.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This is a quality establishment. Breakfast is superb and served in a delightful open-air courtyard. Most of all, the proprietors are always available, helpful, and simply delightful people. One of the finest B&B’s I’ve stayed.
Good 7,0
Pros: G Beautiful restored home and having local PR hosts ....good bedding and linens
Cons: Breakfasts whilst delicious felt very rationed. No feeling of abundance
Excellent 10,0
Pros: great location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This charming bed and breakfast is located right in Viejo San Juan, just a short walk from everything. We absolutely loved our stay! The room was lovely, the breakfasts were beautiful and delicious and you won't find kinder or more generous proprietors. We will definitely be returning!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Beautifully restored historic home with gorgeous architecture and so much character. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring Old San Juan. The property was charming and super clean, and it felt very safe and secure. And the breakfasts were superb. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Cons: The rooms don’t get very dark at night due to some windows high up in the rooms that let in light from outside/hall lamps, etc., which made it difficult for us to sleep. Curtains would have been a welcome addition. Further, outside noise seemed to travel through the walls a bit, which didn’t help us sleep either. But as a historic property with very old architecture, a bit of noise is clearly understandable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything about our stay was wonderful! Absolutely recommend staying here. Very clean, very accommodating, perfect location for exploring, and the breakfasts were phenomenal. I will be dreaming about the fruit bowls for a long time!
Cons: The only thing I would change is my room selection (my fault!) - it’s a little noisy during the night in the rooms directly on the street.

Good 7,0
Pros: everything was beautiful and clean. the pool was a scene, however I had no idea who the sports figured were.
Cons: the room service good was awful, our pizza soggy and cold, the sliders lacking in flavor there was something else, I just don’t remember what it was but thinking it was not good. Food at the restaurants were good.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out. Everything in between was perfect. Service, amenities, room, location. EVERYTHING. Perfect.
Cons: Zero complaints
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent service! Very Clean! Great amenities!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: great location
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Room. pool, bars, restaurants, cigar lounge
Cons: Service was hit and miss, sometimes in the same venue. 1919 Restaurant was excellent, Ola and Tacos and Tequila were +/-
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The pools
Cons: The price
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Overall, had a wonderful 5 day stay with a group of friends. The hotel is beautiful true to the photos. We loved the large pool deck with comfortable lounge chairs, infinity pool, and an awesome view of the ocean. There is a fun/music filled part and a quieter area as well. The swimmable part of the beach is easy/convenient, located just next door to the hotel, but the chairs/set up service is only available until 4:30pm. Our room overlooked the pool area and the ocean and was spacious enough for four adults. Daily maid service and the overall cleanliness of the hotel were excellent. Our front desk check-in with Karla was seamless and welcoming. The concierge was helpful in making a few dinner reservations in advance of our arrival. The hotel is a close walk to several restaurants in the Condado beach area or Santurce, and just a short cab ride to the airport, Old San Juan, etc. Guests/staff were respectful of wearing masks and distancing.
Cons: The main issue we had was inconsistency with service. Most of the staff were wonderful but it seemed they were understaffed in the pool area, so it would often take a significant amount of time to both order and receive food/drinks. Food and drinks at the hotel are quite expensive - Tacos & Tequila had the best poolside food/drinks at the hotel, but sadly it was only open on the weekends, (not sure if this is just due to the pandemic). We also had an issue with the lobby bar area, which should be an available space to lounge, especially since several places nearby currently close their dining service by 9pm, so takeout is the only option at that time, but they inconsistently enforced a policy of not allowing guests to have food in that area and were not very courteous. The manager Indhira was very professional and gracious in addressing our complaint, so we really appreciate that.

Cons: Housekeeping
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Attention to detail, luxurious accommodations, outstanding staff.
Cons: We loved everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Pool area
Cons: I couldn't stay more days
Excellent 10,0
Pros: El mar y la piscina maravillosos .....
Cons: Nada todo me gusto
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We had an excellent time, highlight was that our room window opened fully, facing the ocean. Beautiful!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Pools were lovely and clean (slightly chilly for my taste). Adults only area was nice. Only tried the patio restaurant which was very good, but pricey ($50 for french toast, OJ, single egg and sausage).
Cons: Room air conditioner had issues. Maintenance was unable to solve the issue and did not notify front desk that the issue was not fixed.
Okay 4,2
Cons: I arrived at 3:40 pm and was told that the room I booked is not available. The front desk staff guaranteed that it would be ready by 4pm, but when I came back at 4:06pm I was told again the room is not ready. I finally checked in by 5pm and nobody explained why. They gave me two key cards and one doesn't work which kept me out of the room when I came back from swimming the other day. It is the most terrible experience that I have and I definitely don't recommend this hotel
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Still holding money on my credit card.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms were luxurious yet charming, the staff was very helpful and the pool/lounge area was great
Cons: Not much to dislike.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was Fantastic
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything! outdoor spaces, great food, rooms spacious and confortable, amazing view of the ocean everywhere. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Would love to come back.
Good 7,4
Pros: Excellent venue.
Cons: Poor staff. Very stuffy. Don't use Uber as the staff will ask you to have the Uber pick you up at the curb vs the hotel entrance.
Good 6,2
Pros: Service was good, but disorganized. Sundeck was nice. Staff was friendly whenever you saw them.
Cons: Our room had a musty odor and did not smell clean. There's a big variation in rooms. We upgraded to an "Oceanview" room - but looked out onto a roof and an abandoned building with the ocean tucked to the right. When I complained, they said their "Oceanfront" rooms are all suites and cost $200 more a night. What? So not worth it! If I was to return to Puerto Rico, I'd stay at La Concha and eat at Pinkys everyday. Vanderbilt was so not worth it.
Okay 5,7
Pros: The hotel itself is very pretty and historical.
Cons: The pools are tiny, the service is subpar, housekeeping was always late and turndown service was spotty at best. The receptionists weren't helpful at all, in fact it felt like they were doing us a favor every time we had questions. The service at the pool often took up to 45 minutes to come by and it felt like they were purposely not making eye contact in order to slow things down even more. Not recommended.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Nice bar and location
Cons: Rooms are ridiculous small. Cleaning of rooms can happen until 9pm and was never done before 6pm for us. Gym has lots of cardio equipment but little other machines. Bar tender at wine bar was not aware how to make a Gin & tonic!
Good 7,7
Pros: Very nice room and oceanfront beautiful.
Cons: Service at pool side restaurant slow and poor. Staff not attentive and had to leave table to ask for serviice. This happened at breakfast and lunch. Had a bad experience with quality of food served and staff did not offer to correct. Once food served waiter never came back to table to see if I needed anything. After this experience decided to eat dinner outside of hotel. Front desk staff great.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The swing tv table and the sofa bed. Didn't expect the kitchenette to be so nice and complete. The grater really cracked me up.
Cons: The divider between spaces (tv stand and all) was (what seemed to me like ) water damaged at the bottom and, besides looking ugly it didn't look healhty. Might sound like being picky but water damage can cause all kinds of respiratory and health problems if not taken care of soon enough.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful area, friendly staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I liked the convenience. It’s in a good location next to so many things to do.
Cons: n/a
Excellent 9,0
Pros: .Personnel was very helpful. Everyone greets you and offers if you need something. Location and availability. Breakfast was good and the variety was excellent!
Excellent 9,7
Cons: Breakfast potatoes. I would like a more veggie friendly breakfast
Excellent 8,0
Pros: You are a few miles from the pier at Hyatt House. Good complimentary breakfast.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Friendly staff, all in good condition, everything is new. The location is in the San Juan convention center district, we book it for a convention and we walk to all the activities. Nice view to the harbor and the cruise line. If you are traveling to take a cruise (Royal Caribbean terminal) it just right there. Overall is a 4 star hotel.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Beautiful and unique, great location. Rooftop terrace - great views and jacuzzi.
Cons: Our room was tiny, there was barely any space outside the bed and there were no windows! No breakfast, lack of reception after 5pm.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It’s located in the middle of the city. Close to everything and really chic facilities.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location is the best in OSJ Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely rooftop patio. Close to everything.
Cons: Bed was not comfortable, bathroom was very small with nowhere to put anything (there was a shelf, but it was falling off the wall.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The king room was much more spacious than the queen room I had originally stayed in. The open air lobby is a spectacular presentation upon entering. The rooftop patio is wonderful.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is absolutely enchanting. The open air lobby is spectacular. The rooftop patio was wonderful to enjoy at all times of the day. The location to old town San Juan and the walk around the harbor could not be better.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the moment I walked in, I fell in love with this hotel. From the romantic canopy bed and gorgeous rooftop with string lights, a hot tub, and friendly neighborhood cats to the water fountains and live orchids and bromeliads everywhere you look. The aesthetic of Ville Herencia is a sublime blend of historic and modern from its architecture to the artwork covering every wall. The rooms had air conditioning but also the option of windows or opening the doors to the patio. The bed was extremely comfortable. The property felt very secure and was in an amazing location for sightseeing or dinning and dancing. Check in was effortless and the staff let us leave our bags while we explored the city after check out. The hardest part was leaving.
Cons: At the time of our visit only water and coffee was available, but there are many cafes within walking distance so we were content with going off property for breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We booked a King Balcony Room and it was hard to know what to expect from the pictures but the room was PERFECT! We had a lovely bedroom that opened up on to the rooftop terrace but we also had a little living room and even a separate twin bedroom so we could really spread out. The location was great and we could comfortably walk anywhere we wanted to go. The staff were helpful and accommodating when we needed our luggage moved and held so we could do a rainforest tour. We loved it!
Cons: The cats are adorable but loud at night!
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was good not too comfortable, but good enough. Parking is not included but there’s pay parking close a block away.
Cons: A little dusty, but everything else was very nice and cozy.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff was excellent, the evening person Amanda was superb! Very friendly and helpful! The room though humid was very nice and loved the inside and outside showers. We were greeted by Amanda with a local drink, Coquito, very nice touch ❤️
Cons: The amenities did not meet expectations of a boutique hotel. There was no coffee maker in the room as advertised and when we requested one, we received a non-operative Nespresso machine with an old coffee pod stuck inside that could not be removed. When reported no action was taken to replace it. Also we were provided a broken iron (with the warning that it might be broken) which we required to iron our attire for evening event. A little attention to these “small” details will make a difference.
Good 6,0
Pros: the aesthetic and how kind the staff were
Cons: the noise from the street was loud and woke me up. the elevator was broken and the bath on my patio was also broken.
Good 6,0
Cons: there were bed bugs.

Cons: the food was salty and you had follow up consistently with requests.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Olive Hotel was first class service. Wonderful staff. Very friendly and my wife and I always looked forward going back to relax and the roof top bar and pool was just perfect!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Olive Boutique Hotel was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler or couple staying in the Condado area of Puerto Rico. The location was great. It is situated just off of Ashford Avenue where all the hustle and bustle is, BUT remains relatively quiet because of its juxtaposition. The staff was awesome and so friendly. They really got to know you as a guest in the hotel and they were all so helpful with tips and finding your way around the island. I went solo for a birthday vacation and my stay was beyond wonderful. My room was comfy, cozy, and gorgeous. I received little treats everyday and even a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday! Everything is in walking distance and the beach is just across the street! What more could you ask for?
Cons: The fact that I had to leave!
Excellent 10,0

Pros: Clean. GREAT staff.
Cons: Had to ask for housekeeping every day or it didn’t happen after it we requested at Check-in. mostly, sometimes the vibe at the pool wasn’t respectful.

Pros: very clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: although breakfast stated that it was included. it was not. the breakfast bar was 16.99 per person and was not worth the price.
Excellent 9,4
Cons: Great location near breakfast places and nightlife.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Pool is nice and access to Stellaris is great.
Cons: Cleanliness is ok but bathrooms have a lot of mildew and the cleaning products they are using smell like hospital disinfectant. Not pleasant.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: The space was trendy and appealing, the staff was very friendly and Josie gave great recommendations of things to do. We went to the sister property to use their beach facilities which were very nice, accommodating, and not too far of a walk, but they have an amazing pool/pool area if you don't want to take the walk.
Cons: The room was EXTREMELY cold. The temp stayed around 64-66 the entire time which for both of us was unbearable. The first 2 days we tried adjusting the air ourselves, eventually we had to have maintenance come up who tried to get the air down then off to no avail. We eventually had to have it shut off from the main system but thank goodness we had a balcony and suite room so we could close off the bedroom and open the balcony door to warm things up.

Pros: Perfect location. Friendly staff. Good ac.Overall good experience. Especially if you just need a place to sleep. Think rustic . Just some minor inconveniences.
Cons: Noise. Housekeeper playing loud music and hitting stuff next to us in the morning. Tv didn’t always work.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, staff was helpful beautiful hotel.
Cons: The only downside and it's not the hotel's fault is the parking lot it's a block away from the hotel, this is a problem of Old San Juan, also the streets in Old San Juan there being remodeled right now right on front of Casa Blanca.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean accommodations.
Good 7,0
Pros: The location of the property was excellent. It’s nestled in the midst of old San Juan.
Cons: We checked out of the hotel and I was covered with flea bites so obviously someone had had a pet in the room that we stayed in. Not sure will come back again.
Okay 5,0
Pros: in heart of old San Juan
Cons: no easy way to drop off bags amenities were ok (small fridge in lobby to share for the hotel, would be nice in room, safe was nice but I could pick the small box up and walk out). no way to drop off bags and people staying In hotel (one lane, one way street)…. and parking was two blocks south. that combined w line at front desk made for a slow check in and difficult check in/out w bags. better place for a night or two…. not to end longer travel if you are in Puerto Rico longer. Morocco theme was….ok. not worth any premium on room rate.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The decor and good energy.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff was helpful
Cons: The hotel needs updates. Get rid of clutter and clean elevators.
Excellent 8,0
Nice place in the heart of San Juan. No outside window in our room, which was actually fine because we wanted to sleep in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be in old San Juan near lots of restaurants and attractions.
Excellent 10,0
Great location in Old San Juan, we walked everywhere in the old City. The room was comfortable. The Restaurant makes a great breakfast and coffee. We loved winding down on the rooftop at the end of the day. This is a perfect location for an old San Juan getaway!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Thwarted are the best
Cons: They are the best
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Charming boutique hotel. Delicious restaurant in house. Staff was great and the location is excellent!
Cons: The room size and the elevator need work
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Customer service. Uniqueness of hotel.
Cons: Elevator was broken while we were there. Light switch in bathroom would not turn off.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved the atmosphere and the staff. The rooms were fun and the whole family was comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends visiting Old San Juan!
Good 7,4
Pros: I liked the location on Calle Fortaleza, close to good restaurants and to parking lot.
Cons: The room was incredibly small. I need to talk to someone in the front desk to get my key, and they had a sign that says "for help text x number". Nobody answered until the next day when I had left already. How did I finally get my key? I opened the desk and there it was, no help, no security, no supervision. I just took it and kept going.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This was our second visit. We love the historic and quaint atmosphere this hotel provides, exactly the experience we wanted in Old San Juan. This small hotel is not crowded and staff treat you like a personal guest. They go above and beyond to help you and ensure you enjoy your stay.
Cons: It can be a bit noisy but at no fault of the hotel. When you stay on Fortaleza St you are in the center of the action and hear music from neighboring restaurants. We did not mind this. Being in the center of things was important to us and we felt part of the activity and excitement that is Old San Juan.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: This is a very charming little hotel in a great location in the middle of Old San Juan, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.
Cons: The bed was pretty hard. I overpaid because I booked through this site. I would have paid much less booking with the hotel directly. I recommend you do that.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Hotel was very cleaned, staff was so attentive and personable, room was comfortable enough for 2 people.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location. Iconoclastic décor.
Cons: I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel, but it does not meet the lowest level of fire safety standards. There is only one open stairway leading to all the floors and no secondary means of escape--not even a fire escape. There is not separation between the lobby and the restaurant. There is no sprinkler system.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: the liveliness and food
Cons: when we got picked up or dropped off the valet rushes one to get in or out. Which I can understand as the resort doesn’t want a traffic jam but maybe have a different way of dropping off or picking up guest.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast, location and amenities were lovely!
Cons: Getting into the water was extremely risk due to rip currents which took away from being beach front.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: the location was perfect for a first time traveler to PR. many things to do around the area and property
Good 7,0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean facilities, walkable to other areas
Cons: Rooms are dated
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love the beach view
Cons: Nothing everything is amazing
Good 6,0
The front desk staff was not welcoming which is surprising for a place like this because this is the first contact with the hotel.
Excellent 9,7
excellent and have told family and friends about this hotel.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet is super yummy and the drinks at the bar with Juan are so good! He genuinely cares about people and making quality drinks! Pool & beach access is amazing.
Cons: The only thing that could’ve been better was perhaps the ac in the room. We had a suite so at times it felt a little warm.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Modern look that is on the beach with pools and in a nice area. Every part of the hotel was clean including the gym and toilets. The restaurants were also excellent with good choices and healthy options available. Overall awesome and would definitely recommend this luxurious hotel.
Cons: Resort fees. I feel that the hotel is priced right and that there is no reason to tack on resort fees. Drinks a little pricey
Excellent 10,0
Pros: hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. hotel was right on the water, great drinks and food. Located in a nice area to walk around at any time of the day. Close to shopping, and local restaurants. Hotel guests were a mix of families, couples, business, and groups of friends. There was an adult only pool as well as 3 others. Will definitely be going back and staying here!
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Well maintained despite not being a new resort; Modern, comfortable and clean rooms; Large staff and very friendly and accommodating; Adult pool! It was the most quiet and least congested area. Not sure some people knew it was there. If you like resorts and don't mind the crowds you will enjoy this hotel.
Cons: Party-like atmosphere on the weekend- if that's what you want you will have a great time. Personally, I didn't like the music on the beach. Also, the beach is fairly narrow and the main beach area and pool area are both crowded with chairs very close to one another. I prefer more space and don't want to be sitting an inch away from a total stranger. It can be tough to find the sun in the afternoon when the hotel casts a shadow on the beach. Scope out a good spot early.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Loved the suite with full kitchen. Would do this again!
Cons: HOusekeeping was not cleaning room if I did not ask or let them know I was out. Room did not get made up last day at all, and I was out all day.
Okay 4,8
Pros: The beach and pool facilities are great
Cons: My room did not electricity for 48 hours, the hotel would not offer much more than a complimentary buffet breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Vibrant, entertaining but also relaxing and luxurious. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The facility was clean, never noticed bathroom soap, towels, tissue empty or a mess. Room was a suite with ample space, balcony and kitchenette. It seemed much more suited to adults only but there were families. Location was great, right on the beach. Bikes were available which we took into Old San Juan. I would stay here again and again with adults.
Cons: On occasion, I felt that the music was too loud (ack! I'm getting old!) But that was really it.
Good 7,7
Pros: I loved the 3 different pool options. We used the adult pool the entire time, which is much quieter and has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Most staff were so friendly and helpful. Menu is pretty reasonable and prices are comparable to surrounding area, except quality is much much better. Tuna salad was my favorite thing by far.
Cons: Mixed drinks were weak and pricey. Rules weren't always enforced. Example, there was a 5 year old at the adult pool for about 2 hours until someone finally noticed. We were also told we couldn't bring our own mixed drinks to the pool, yet others would blatantly have a 6 pack from cvs out in the open. Hallways were a little dingy.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Beautiful hotel with open lobby and modern clean feeling.
Cons: Even though the reservation was a prepaid, I still got hosed with a resort fee. A couple of bottles of water and a beach chair shouldn't cost 25 bucks. Got the runaround as to why my Marriott status was worth nothing at this resort property.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All 3 pools were beautiful. Definitely worth the upgrade to an OceanView Suite. The views are out of this world! Restaurants all had good food, even poolside. Pleasantly surprised. Would definitely return To PR and stay here again.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Excellent 9,7
Pros: All
Excellent 9,4
Pros: location and beach were great.
Good 7,6
Pros: the location is beautiful
Cons: We didn't actually get to staty at La Concha. When we arrived at the hotel from the airport, the hotel had overbooked. We were quite disapointed as the property looked beautiful. However, there was no confusion or fuss. The hotel knew what they did and I don't know why we were flagged as one of the "overbooked". we arrived about 7 pm. It may be we were a one nighter. However, they paid for a taxi and put us in the marriott down the street and comped the marriot room. It was all set up for us and we were whisked away So we didn't have to pay for the hotel night. The hotel they put us in was not as luxury as the La Concha (4 star vs 5 star) but it was nice and the Marriot folks at the San Juan Marriot were SUPER friendly and tried to do EVERYTHING they could to make us welcome and make it up to us with room upgrades, free drinks, dinner recommendations. So we felt adequately compensated. In the morning we walked down the beach from the Marriot to the La Concha (they said we were welcome to use the La Concha facilities) but ended up not using the pool, just having brunch at the hotel and it was lovely.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location in Old San Juan was perfect. You could literally walk to everything in a short distance.
Good 7,0
Pros: location, staff, restaurant and rooftop bar
Cons: street noise at night. room was very hot even with ac and ceiling fan on high
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely cosy hotel and superb location.
Cons: Very noisy at night and needed to sleep with ear plugs. Room was smaller than expected.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Nice central location
Cons: Noice was horrendous. Did not sleep 1 wink. Opened directly to the street.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: I just did not understand this. I booked two rooms. I wanted balconies , which I was told up until I got there. We would have both balconies. I was put in a lovely room with the patio out side on the first floor. my second room did not have a balcony or a patio but I had to pay the same price. HUMMMMMMM!!! I did question it , she told me the rooms where the same price . Im still lost about that
Cons: Like I said different rooms, one fabulous and paying the same price.

Good 7,0
Pros: location, security and cleanliness. the stars was also very friendly!
Cons: the pool was not inviting- small and not as pictured.
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff were helpful and generous is giving us more coffee, etc., upon request. There was a good amount of soap and toiletries.
Cons: The shower isn’t great.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Good price
Cons: Nothing
Mediocre 3,1
Pros: The "garden" looks nice
Cons: Doors with a traditional key, very hard to latch, lock or unlock. Everybody was slamming the doors all night long. Not sure how many people that stayed there have made a copy of the key. I've got an elevator shaft in my room. Yes, really. My room was built around an elevator shaft. Bed was on one side right next to the door which was next to the elevator door. Bathroom was on the other side, AC was there too. To get to the bathroom from my bed I had to go around behind the elevator shaft. Also didn't get much cold air from AC, it was too hot and you can imagine all the noise. My room was also oriented to the street where every five minutes somebody stopped their car with loud music all night long. I couldn't sleep at all. Too hot, noise coming from AC, elevator, people talking while waiting for elevator, people slamming the doors, noise from car stereos. I could just have stayed at the airport sleeping on the floor for free. Breakfast was very simple, served outside, in the hot, humid weather. Wind was constantly blowing my napkins and stuff away. Transportation from the airport did cost too much because the hotel was not listed in any zone. Paid $20. The hotel is exactly between the airport and the cruise port, which costs $10 to transfer between. They took a photocopy of my credit card including the CVV code and my ID, which violates PCI compliance BTW, when I asked them for how long they are going to store it, they couldn't tell me when they are going to shred it, probably never. The Italian restaurant near by, I don't even.... Just don't. Never again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: great value everything as listed...no surprises great location, safe tourist area and friendly staff super free coffee machine available all day mini bar in room with more than reasonable prices will definitely be my first choice if I return to PR
Cons: if you are there for a pre-cruise be forwarned that the breakfast area is small and although the staff are great they were overwhelmed but still managed to take care of everyone with a smile, just plan a little extra time for breakfast !

Excellent 10,0
Pros: beautiful
Okay 4,0
Pros: Location Pool área
Cons: They had two damaged elevators. I lost my cell phone and after several efforts it appeared in the lobby. i had asked for the cell phone several times. I did not like the treatment and how the situation was handled.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: staff there is the best KATERINA was amazing
Cons: loud nosises from other rooms I could hear everything
Excellent 8,7
Very good
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Service was fast! The staff was wonderful! The facilities very well kept and they where always making sure I had what I needed.
Cons: I LOVED EVERYTHING! I have nothing to complain about. Nothing was bad!! VERY WELLA ORGANIZED!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We enjoyed the proximity to Old San Juan and the friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and the WIFI worked well even after the hurricane when not many working WiFi signals could be found. We also enjoyed the infinity pool and the gym. Zen Spa was also great, relaxing and the therapists very helpful.
Cons: However we were overcharged a small amount by Zen Spa and it’s been over a week since our stay and we haven’t been reimbursed for the mistake by the Zen Spa staff. It’s looking like we will have to go there again personally to take care of the problem.
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Limited choices restaurants
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the infinity pool and the service as well as the area
Cons: no minibar
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I think the staff was very friendly and helpful. The guys who work at the pool bar and the breakfast staff who works in the cafe. However I would say the front desk staff was my favorite. Thank you so much for making my vacation one of the best vacation ever!
Good 7,7
Pros: Love the casino love the Metropole restaurant love the pool
Cons: I don't like it there is not a beach in the hotel
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved the Club Lounge. The breakfast was superb. Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The food was very expensive and to be honest, the yellow walls reminded me of a high school (and not the good kind).
Good 7,7
Pros: Hotel is clean and friendly staff
Cons: Location isn't the best taxi to old San Juan was about 15.00 dollars each way. No restaurants nearby so you have to get a taxicab and can become costly.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The cleanliness was great, housekeeping department was extraordinary. The people at the Cafe on the lobby were great.
Cons: Some of the staff at the front desk were not that polite as I was expecting since I am an SPG member.
Okay 5,7
Cons: Housekeeping is mediocre, they take too much time to get the whole floor clean.
Good 7,7
Pros: The infinity pool was great! Rooms were nice and beds were extremely comfortable.
Cons: The rooms didn't have vents and the food and drinks are expensive.
Good 6,8
Pros: Good location and hotel looks great
Cons: The bedding. The sheets were really dirty and if you pull the comforter up to the light you can see all the dust and deadskin That has been collecting into the comforter and it is digusting.
Good 7,6
Pros: The view the infinitity pool and the casino
Cons: The staff at nice and also they don't change your sheets everyday unless it's requested
Good 7,6
Pros: The rooms are clean, facility well kept, and staff friendly
Cons: The bed was not as comfortable as we expected
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was close to convention center.
Cons: It does not have facilities to clean your clothes at your own. It should have a small laundry area. I stayed 4 days for a volleyball tournament, and I had to clean the uniforms by hand everyday. They just have a few fridges we were put on a wait list and never call us.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly. Loved the total non-smoking environment which amazingly included the casino. We also appreciated having the green option available for opting out of daily room service.
Cons: Had difficulty getting service in their restaurant in the evenings. In fact, one evening we were the only two patrons and after being seated for 10+ minutes with no waitperson approaching us, we left to go eat elsewhere. However, breakfast was great!

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nicely remodeled old hotel in Miramar neighborhood.
Cons: The neighborhood is nearby but not walking distance of either the beach or old San Juan hence I think it is overpriced for a 3-star facility.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The beds are hard and look like prison beds. There is also a odor. Toile is way to close to the shower and the bathroom needs to be remodeled
Excellent 8,0
Pros: rooftop and location
Cons: parking
Excellent 9,0
Pros: I liked the location and hospitality of the staff.
Cons: The bathroom was uncomfortable and some guests were making noises before 6am. Talking loud and listening to music with high volume.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This was an unplanned stay but a very pleasant surprise while visiting family in Puerto Rico and finding this place by luck on short notice. The location was great within walking distance to Condado and Old San Juan. Also the staff was very friendly and seems to genuinely care care about their guests.
Cons: For some reason the water from the shower was just warm and not hot but I was able overlook that because it was so hot in San Juan and the rooms were nice and clean. This is often nor the case in San Juan.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Close to cruise ships and not far from airport, old town, paseo caribe, good restaurants, great rooftop terrace, helpful staff, neat cafe, exceptionally spacious room, excellent wifi, very clean,
Good 6,8
Pros: Size of room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were professional and very helpful throughout our stay. Clean and a great location. Hotel had a great view of the ocean and parts of the city. Transportation was easy to grab to go to Old San Juan. It's our second time here and we will definitely be back soon.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Room size was good and the redone bathroom was beautiful! Also LOVED the rooftop deck. It was our favorite thing about our stay because it was very quiet with good views of the city and harbor and lovely seating arrangements. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood. There are lots of restaurants close by and even a grocery store where we picked up a few things. And we walked to a lovely little park right on the water's edge.
Cons: I thought our room had a strange odor, but my husband thought it was fine. If we had been staying more than one night I would have complained and asked to change rooms but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Also our shower curtain had mildew on it, which I realize is difficult to avoid with the humidity in San Juan, but housekeeping needs to stay on top of this.

Pros: I like that is in a good area , not bad at all. Some convenience places to eat and buy simple things. Close walking to some local and hotel beaches. The hotel staff are very friendly and helped me out in every question or need I had. They solved the problem when I first arrive due to they gave me a room that had very bad smell of humidity. I was happy they found one Avalos room. This a small hotel that I recommend for a couple or just Adult Solo trip. Not for a family. Hallways in every floor need ventilation, it feels dry and some smell not bad but to a closed space smell. but in overall rate is a good hotel towards excellent for the price, WIFI Very good and having signal everywhere in the hotel. Quiet enough for resting. Bathroom nice and big, shower very good pressure. I would use this hotel for my solo trip but for the overall, I would suggest not to pay more than a $90.0 per night.
Cons: I don't watch TV but I heard people complaint about problems with TV, until I had the experience my TV lost signal. I did not request to get it fixed because I expent my time outside the hotel. Bath tube drain clogged while showering so water was filling up above your feet. Parking not recommended... Very tiny space for all cars and every time you want to use the car same person at the front desk had to move and re park the other cars, while some one is waiting at the front desk until this person finish to accommodate the cars again. Don't get me wrong... They were always helpful, friendly and always willing to help you. Bad quality of customer service in the restaurant in front the hotel... and pricy.. But better go to other areas. Curtains in the room are too smal of the size of the window..so light comes through all night and doesn't keep the room dark. No door tags for RESTING /DO NOT DISTURB.. So cleaning service (very nice) they have to knock out your door. Price. I believe the rate is little high for what is worth. Find a better discount in the Internet even so the hotel is not Chain hotel company. Good luck.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: Limited parking.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff was very helpful! Great recommendations for food and places to go. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions-Would stay here again if in the area-Loved the terrace on the top floor, we preferred that to a pool.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Had an excellent stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I could tell the woman who was over our floor took pride in her work.
Good 6,2
Pros: I like the fact that you were close to restaurants and shopping. Close to the cruise port. We took a walk to Walmart and Marshall's near by. They have a roof top lounge area that is very nice at night. Wonderful breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. There is also a 24 hour restaurant across the street. There are plenty of eating places in the area.
Cons: Had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. So they stored everyone's luggage while they explored the town.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice clean hotel will a very nice staff. The lady that was the desk clerk was outstanding. They have a roof top terrace on the 9th floor with an outstanding view of the area. The area also has a nice local flair with many local restaurants and there is a grocery store a few doors down. I would stay here again.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Really close to the beach and Condado !!!
Good 7,7
Cons: I left a plastic bag with packaged foreign sweets in the regrigerator of my hotel room behind unwittingly and the staff made no attempt of rescuing this bag for me. I called the following day and the fact that it did not occur to the corresponding staff person that the bag might have meant something to its owner, seeing that the products inside were not just local fare, aggravates me. The hotel should have at least a 24 hour policy of holding on to things that any guest leaves behind, no matter how small or insignificant they might seem to them, so that if the guest who left has a chance of reclaiming them, he/she can. In this respect, the hotel disappointed me.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Front desk folks were nice and helpfuL for the morning shift.
Cons: the tv in our room did not work. Night shift person would not come take a look. Coffee machine only worked part of the time.
Good 6,2
Pros: Accessibility to local and near by areas. Overall clean. Great coffee machine.
Cons: No breakfast. No pool. Parking lot is a joke! With only 4 spots and super small area in it to reverse and get out. Possibility in hitting your rental.
Good 7,6
Pros: Customer service location very clean n cozy
Cons: Lack of parking

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The food at most of the restaurants was very good. The hotel was nice and the room was spacious. Housekeeping did a great job.
Cons: The room we stayed in could use some new carpet. The clock didn’t work either and that was an inconvenience.
Good 7,0
Pros: beach and pool are awesome.
Cons: not much to see and do around the hotel
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very close to everything in walking distance and not far from old San Juan
Poor 1,0
Pros: the pool and beach
Cons: I was over charge there was no system in place it seems like each representative was lost.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Food was ok cost to much. Free breakfast for gold and diamond
Cons: Service of employees such as management.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The hotel lobby is beautiful. The hotel has everrything you need and service was great. Staff was extremely helpful and very nice from check in to check out.
Cons: Some areas need repair. Example, the pool is beautiful, but the grout has black stuff on it and chipped. Also, we had issues with card for garage and hotel room. Twice, we were stuck at exit gate of garage. We had to park car and go to cashier and hotel front desk to sync the cards.
Good 7,4
Pros: Updated, modern, clean room. Nice large bathroom. Bed is comfortable.
Cons: Shouldn't have to pay for premium wifi. The tv channels were all blurry. Water pressure was terrible. Breakfast choices were only overpriced restaurants that were terrible. Don't recommend eating anywhere on the hilton grounds. I arrived early and was told I would be called or texted when a room was available. I never was and was watching the front desk as others checked in. Not good customer service. The a/c is motion activated so it won't keep the room cold if there isn't movement which sucks when you come in from the hot humidity of San Juan and it wouldn't cool down as much as the thermostat said it was set to. The room was hot for me. There is no noise buffering between the walls I heard conversations and music playing in the next room or as people walked down the hallway.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Let me start by saying that I am the type of person that reads negative reviews and most of the time ignores them because I feel some people can never be happy or they paid the price of a 2 star resort and expected services and amenities of a 6 star resort, that is not the situation with me and the Caribe Hilton. Also, I am not a newbie when it comes to travel. I cannot possibly fathom why someone would stay at this resort instead of going to an all inclusive in Aruba, Jamaica, River is Maya, etc... an all inclusive would be less than half the cost when considering food and drink (no exaggeration). Let me put it this way, if the Caribe Hilton was an all inclusive, it would be my least favorite all the resorts that I've been to but it is not all inclusive and you get price gouged with food and drink. Way, way, way too expensive for the value. You are not within walking distance to anything worth noting. Some will tell you that Old San Juan is within walking distance, that's bullcrap, unless you are a person that runs a couple miles every day it is not. It is close to a half hour walk. Who the hell wants to walk a half hour in 86 degree weather then walk up and down the hilly streets of Old San Juan all day then walk another half hour back to the hotel? The city did put in an awesome bicycle path so I guess you could do that, we didn't want to have to worry about them getting stolen while we shopping or eating. I enjoyed Old San Juan but if I wanted to visit again, it would be by a shore excursion while on a cruise. Our room was nice and clean. There were not that many people at the resort, wonder why, but you still couldn't get a good seat at the pool or Lagoon. The pools were small and freshwater and I worried because they didn't have chlorine the type of germs and things that were in it. The hotel was kind enough to put free fruit flavored water out for a few hours a day that ranged from refreshing to disgusting depending on the type of fruit. There was a wedding held there the Saturday we were there. An entire section of the beach was closed down and all the hammocks were removed because of the wedding. The hammocks were one of few things i enjoyed. At the end of the wedding, sometime between midnight and 1AM, someone decided to light off fireworks which I typically enjoy but not being woke out off a sound sleep and not going off feet from my room's balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful except when I was asked at checkout if I had a nice stay and I said not really, the girl just smiled and handed me my check. That was the icing on the cake for me, not only would I never stay at this resort again I would never stay at a Hilton again. For the grande finale, this hotel charges you a hotel fee on top of quoted price AND it is not cheap. Not sure if this is legal, but they know you can't do anything but gripe and moan because it isn't like you can walk to the hotel next door. Bottom line is if you are not concerned about money it's great
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The staff were amazing and very accommodating
Cons: The view was amazing, the hotel was very comfortable and easy to get around.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Room
Cons: Parking
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Awesome views, friendly/helpful staff, and beautiful private beach. Best resort in PR!
Okay 5,4
Pros: The hotel itself was very nice and fun, very nice overall design and loved the hot tubs.
Cons: The rooms were very out dated and a little gross. Mold in bathroom and it need re-caulking.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: I really love everything about the Caribe Hilton: the lovely and calm beach, the food, the location, etc. I first came here in 1976 on my honeymoon and have returned twice! Lovely gardens and great service.
Cons: Prices are very high, especially breakfast!
Okay 5,1
Pros: I like the exclusive beachfront and pool area with the view and close proximity to old San Juan.
Cons: The staff was rude and sarcastic except for two which I came across towards the end my stay but far in between. Was treated as if we didn't matter since my arrival. Was told I could check in early as long as I paid a $75 fee when I spoke to them over the phone a day earlier and once I arrived was told I had to wait and I waited 6 hours.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The location was excellent: right between old San Juan and Condessa. The pool was small but it was made for hanging around and sunning. Beautiful old ruins right next to the hotel made it picturesque. My view of the sea was beautiful.
Cons: Pool food was a bit oily.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was in the right between the old and the new city.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: the facilities pool and beach beautiful
Cons: some rude personnel in valet parking
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Staying there
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great location, beach, view of laguna and ocean. Close by recreation areas like Velauno.
Cons: Old building, rooms need remodeling. 1. Small broken piece of roof under bed 2. Stained shower floor
Okay 5,3
Pros: beautiful pool area
Cons: Unfriendly staff, most outside people, horrible view, 4 July with no activities, very disappointed
Excellent 9,6
Pros: I enjoyed the private beachfront and pool. Our room was very comfortable, too!
Cons: I wish there was a shuttle to and from the airport. Also, there was no happy hour on any part of the resort. A special here or there would have encouraged me to eat more at the resort, but instead I explored nearby restaurants.

Okay 5,0
Pros: The staff was very excellent as well as the cleaning service. Although it has a perfect location there were many homeless and people begging for money and food. The restaurant at the facility was excellent as well as the pool area. Personnel at the entrance, baggage handlers and taxi facilitators were excellent in their performance and providing information.
Cons: You should modernize the room furniture and bathroom. Also, need room to be freshly painted to cover wall scratches.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I was very early flight came a little early and I was able to check in didn't have to wait until 3pm. The room was great. Slept 😴 like a baby. Thank you

Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: Only valet parking available.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The Location and the Restaurant it is amazing.
Cons: The Hotel is an Old Hotel, and you can feel dust or mold when using the AC, that by chance does not work properly. The restaurant is good but too small, so during the breakfast, it was super crowded
Okay 4,0
Pros: The rooms need an update!
Cons: Air conditioning not working properly.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: For the price of the room the price was high. You barely had enough room to walk between the bed and dresser. Barely enough room for our suite case as we stayed there before catching our cruise ship! Other than the size of the room the Courtyard Marriott Miramar was nice hotel. We booked a King room.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The location was easily accessible to EVERYTHING I needed!
Cons: My room did not have enough chairs for two! There was only one chair available for 2 persons!
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Great location and great dining facility.
Mediocre 2,0
Cons: Unexpected hidden fees.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Our reservation was for two rooms. When arrived at the hotel at 2:AM, they said it was only one. I showed them the Kayak confirmation email, and they provided us with the second room. The rooms were as perfect as they could be. We only stayed one night on the way to my mother-in-law's funeral. We got the rest, that we needed to face the next few days. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
Okay 5,7
Cons: Hotel is a little dated
Okay 4,0
Pros: Poor. Did not clean the room one day.
Okay 4,0
Pros: the location. That's all
Cons: a) no parking. Only valet , very slow car return. & 15 USD more... b one person for check in and one for check out only. Only one credit card terminal that decline my credit card. No other alternative. I used that same credit card the day before and hours later stillin San Juan ....and it worked perfectly... c) Breakfast at le Papillon. The two girls simply do not use their mouth for even saying hello, good bye. You can say thanks thousand times, it does not matter, they keep on ignoring you d) dinner at the other restaurant. They had a trouble with paperwork and could not serve alcohol...so they spent the entire dinner running around tables nervously...waiters, maitre ...everybody....polite at least but overwhelming....

Pros: View from our room
Cons: No beach
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The hotel is comfortable - not exactly a luxury hotel but certainly adequate. The staff is very polite and helpful. I was there for work so I didn't get to use all the facilities so I can't really comment on them, but my stay was very pleasant.
Cons: I was charged an extra $100 or so tax (for a 3 night stay) in addition to the so-called "taxes" I was charged by Kayak. Whose fault is this? I assume Kayak is to be blamed here, since they do not mention that there are extra fees and taxes in addition to the price they charge. This is a deceptive practice.
