Pros: The room was very well appointed and the breakfast was truly excellent. We had a warm welcome and greatly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts Maxine and Chris were excellent. Chris been a Michelin chef in his previous role made us some good breakfast and excellent pancakes. As for the room. My wife and I had the top room which was very spacious plus having a Kingsize bed made all the difference in getting good sleep as I tend to find double beds quite small. The bathroom is next door which was spacious too. No one comes on the top floor so going back and for next door was no issue plus we had our privacy. This B&B used to be a old village school and alot of hard work, lot of thought and passion has gone on making this place an excellent B&B to stay. We stayed for 7 nights and throughly enjoyed it. Hope to be back soon in the future.
Cons: All was great and we had no issues.

Pros: The bed was comfy and Nick was friendly.
Cons: The room could have been warm when we arrived. The cat coming into the breakfast room climbing up on the tables and inspecting the bread and toaster could and should have been avoided.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Clean. Nick was very helpful. As this trip was work related, the comfy bed and clean facilities were well appreciated. As I had to leave by 7am, I opted out of the cooked breakfast- but there was tea/ coffee, fruit, toast, cereal available. Free parking is available on the road. Ensuite was clean and in good working condition. Tea/ coffee facilities available in the room. A small co op is within walking distance. Plenty of shops within 5 minutes drive. It was a good stay and i will definitely book again if I’m going back.

7,0 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel, perfectly situated on the Moors. Lovely setting. Great food. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Put in the worst room (1) at top of stairs so everyone walked past, above bar so very loud and cleaning ladies polishing brass at 6 in the morning directly below whilst chatting away! Not a proper shower in the bath, impossible to use, got a bit of water on the floor and had a phone call from reception saying water was leaking to bar below!
7,0 Good
Pros: Very relaxing short break. The hotel is very welcoming after a good stroll on the moors. Excellent hospitality and a wonderful menu. Lots of delicious local food and drink on offer.
Cons: Having stayed at the Two Bridges on previous occasions we felt the room we were allocated was not really worthy of the room rate. Whilst the bed was comfortable there was little space around it, and the bathroom had no shelf space to store a washbag, toiletries, etc.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfortable bar area with fire at either end. Food was excellent and staff were excellent in every way.
Cons: Only criticism is it would be better if during the winter months, a fire grate was put into the centre of each fireplace and a roaring fire rather than a tiny , almost insignificant fire laid in the far corner of each huge fireplace. I understand the fires have fans to assist them but just one thing we missed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: great traditional full breakfast but the menu had options if you chose to avoid it.friendly attentive staff delivering a prompt service and available to help out without you feeling crowded
7,0 Good
Pros: Hotel and being on the moors
Cons: We booked two rooms 3 months ago and they were great. This time we were in room 24 and the mattress was not good at all. I was up alot in the night due to this. Did tell reception when paying bill. But she did not seem to make much of it. I even then said I will make sure we are not in that room next time then. It should be taken to the tip ASAP.. A good mattress is key for a good hotel room.

Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The in room drinks had a good selection, and biscuits were delicious.
Cons: Unfortunately I did not realise there was no lift, and had been put on the fourth floor. Being disabled, I could not have walked up all those stairs. But the female owner, when I told her this, put me in a room up 2 flights of stairs; this was kind and much appreciated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great bar and front room area, perfect location.. particularly when graduating. We could see the graduation tent. Beds and bedding were superb, very comfortable. Very polite kind and friendly owners/staff
Cons: My room was the spa bath, quite outdated and bath panel was hanging on.. not affected my stay and would still stay again.. but just wasn’t expecting to see that.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast at £19.50 in Devon, in mid winter. I was not prepared to pay to find out how good or bad it was
Cons: One of the two bedside lights did not work. The extractor in the bathroom did not work. No fridge or drinks in room. I half litre bottle of water in room, no glasses. No writing paper or pen in room. One chair only. Our room was over the front entrance, which also served as the outside smoking area for the two bars.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suite we stayed in was amazing, the food and staff were brilliant.A lovely atmosphere throughout
Cons: Could not fault our stay.the only thing we didn’t like was having to leave!
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: House is very nice. Grounds are ok, but waterlogged. Some of the staff were very friendly and tried their best. One front of house staff very good supporting the slow service, day 1, trying to keep peoples spirits up. Receptionist very pleasant asked about our stay and passed on our comments to management (see didn't like section)
Cons: The room (11) was abysmal. 6 ft subsidence crack across one wall. Wardrobe full of cobwebs and dirty. I didn't want to know what was on the carpet. Bathroom - tiles with black mold and peeling paint. Window catch broken and paint over the window panes. It would be poor for a 1 or 2 star never mind a supposed 4. The service at mealtimes (2) was exceptionally slow (Tripadvisor reviews also state this). First night booked for 6:30, asked for menus at 7 to be told they were still printing! Eventually sat down, starter slow to come. Main even slower. Second night slightly better, but one person taking orders while doing the bar in another room and delivering food, while 2 other members of staff spent 45 minutes chatting in another room with one eventually coming in to 'help'. Management phoned to chat, but I missed it, said I could phone or he would phone back later, he didn't. Sums it up really. Captive audience for a wake or we would have left. Would we stay again - No.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Sitting by the fire with a glass of red was just perfect.

7,0 Good
Pros: The surroundings & scenery were lovely & we did see deers running in the fields, which was a lovely experience. The breakfast was great & they accommodated vegetarian option. I think they should add water to the breakfast bar as I needed it to have my tablets. Not a bad location & easy to find using sat nav. Overall not too bad if you only staying a couple of nights.
Cons: The spa facilities weren’t very clean & the shower gel etc had finished in the showers & hadn’t been topped up. We had dead flies in our room as it had looked like it had been clean a while ago & the room had not been used. The staff were ok but didn’t ask if everything was ok or not. It would of been good if we had water bottles with the tea facilities as not sure if the water was drinking water or not.

Cons: Nothing all great
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Free use of Gym and leisure facilities. Free parking.
Cons: Nothing. The only small negative detail is the extractor fan in the bathroom is full of accumulated dust. We have stayed here twice in 2 different rooms and both fans were the same. We did tell the cleaning staff about it and also how it didnt affect our enjoyment of our stay as everything was a really good standard.

Pros: Spa facilities and pool were great
Cons: No wi-fi access in the room. Single room a bit small but okay for 1 night

Pros: I had room only but from what I could see, the food looked good, people appeared to be enjoying it. I thought the customer service was to a high standard and the house-keeping excellent. The overall experience was excellent / positive Thankyou
Cons: I could find nothing to criticise or suggest needed improvement

Cons: That Kayak charged me one third as much again for the booking. The rack rate was MUCH cheaper. Parking is not easy and expensive if you use nearby underground garage.
