Pros: The hotel was comfortable and well decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful, but it’s about a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. Also, if you are staying on a lower floor facing the square, do not plan to sleep much. You will hear every noise and voice outside.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Location is good, next to a nice square with a craft market every Sunday. They have a free parking which is very useful when you have a car. The breakfast was good with fresh options (juices, fruits, cakes and bread): eggs are on demand but free of charge. Good wifi. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The bathroom could be improved: the lighting is very “white” which doesn’t entice you to enjoy a nice bath... The patio next to the rooms can be noisy

Pros: A fantastic place in the middle of the countryside, decorated with an excellent taste. You feel like if you were at home. Heated pool which it's fantastic because you can swim all the year.
Cons: The place is beautiful but the outside was not so well maintained for a so charming place. There were weeds on the terraces, the pool was not perfectly painted but it was probably because it's the beginning of the season.

Pros: Beautiful Estancia just outside Salta, very peaceful, beautiful room (once we upgraded to a junior suite). The location is fabulous if you’re looking to explore the beautiful surrounding area, the drive to Cafayate is spectacular and worth doing.
Cons: Service tended to be a bit slow but the real annoyance here are the lack of sunloungers and shade around the pool area, apart from that we had a great stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Totally magic place
10,0 Excellent
Pros: House of Jasmines is an estancia in the outskirts of Salta providing guests with peace and tranquility during their stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking English, French and Spanish and maybe other languages that I am unaware of. Our suite was very comfortable, looking out over a beautiful garden setting. The king-size bed was also very comfortable. The meals and wine in the restaurant were excellent as was the service from the staff. During our 5-night stay, there was live music on 2 nights -Jazz and folkloric. We enjoyed a great massage with Rosia and Gloria in the Spa, which is well appointed and clean.

Pros: Nice staff -- (which actually seems to be normal in Argentina -- people are very nice all over !!) Big , well equiped rooms, in a walking distance from town center & restaurants. Very good breakfast, fresh.
6,7 Good
Pros: Clean rooms, good location and very nice staff.
Cons: Room was hot and there was no ability to control the temperature as the thermostat was locked. Opening the window let in street noise which was very loud. Overall the hotel was quite dated. We took a look at the boutique hotel next door which was fantastic and not a lot more expensive. Total buyer’s remorse!
7,5 Good
Pros: Most of the people at front desk are charming and welcoming , with exceptions! Some of them solve your problems immediately others make things little complicate .
Cons: I invited a guess and he was told : can not go upstairs! At the end they registered him and let go up. This can be handle in a smooth and friendly way... I believe . I got stucked at the elevator ... nobody apologized for that, it was a scary few minutes thank God.

Cons: Bathroom is small but sufficient
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel dating from 1942 , very clean with highly polished floors with lot’s of character. I had a junior suite with spa bath room 300 it was spacious with 3 windows and quite air conditioning, hotel restaurant was excellent with great steaks would recommend
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location 100% property style authentic and traditional. Great staff! Really! Say hi to Mathias in the restaurant bar! Try Carpano soda and fernet Branco! Very good reception and excellent baggage/doorman.
Cons: Only thing that bothered me was the smell in the room. I think it’s from the oil they use on the parquet floors. I got used to it.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was built in 1940s and is preserved with some modern modifications such as door locks cards now not traditional keys. Excellent location near central square, taxi stand at the door.
Cons: No major complaints
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location couldn't be better right on Plaza 9 de Julio. Obviously a really historic building in Salta with a grand interior to match. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was very good.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room had a leak when turned on, given a new room but took a while. Gym needs a refurb.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice older historical hotel. Good size rooms - nice and clean, friendly helpful staff. The location is excellent - right next to main square. Perfect for my short stay.
Cons: The shower cubicle was very small and it was hard not to get water all over the floor - however, the water was nice and hot.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good value for price! Very central while rooms facing the back were quiet enough for a good nights sleep! Breakfast included Lots of colonial flair, beautiful terra-cotta and wooden floors Good housekeeping with effective laundry service Safe! Good shower!
Cons: Check-in was a bit slow..lots of staff in the background while just one lady was attending to the line Quite a strong smell of floor polish in corridors and rooms...(floors looked amazing though)
5,0 Okay
Pros: Excellent location, right in the center of Salta.
Cons: Small rooms with a strong disinfectant smell. The rooms with window to the street are a bit noisy. The small rooms, the small bathroom and the old building, still partially renovated, do not merit the price they charge.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location is good, not far from centre. Room big, but not cosy. Grey was awful.
Cons: Bad breakfast, no slice fresh fruits. You have to ask for eggs, it’s stupid.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Nice look and location.
Cons: Second stay at this hotel and the room (3rd floor) we got this time was terribly noisy. Even with ear plugs in one thought the cars, busses and motorcycles drove right through your room. And yes, windows were shut.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful. The rooms are good size and decent views if you look beyond the square immediately in front of the hotel.
Cons: My room smelled musty and damp which impacted my allergies and asthma. Unfortunately the neighborhood is pretty loud on the weekends, no fault of the hotel of course. The breakfast is just ok but the restaurant is pretty.

Pros: The area was quiet. There was a relaxing feel to the hotel and staff couldn’t do enough to help in any way. Our room had a view of the outside pool and mountains, a balcony overlooking and jacuzzi bath which I would recommend. Definitely stay again if in the area.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and cosy with local character. Great service.
Cons: The location is very quiet with nice Mountain views but is far from town which very much limits dinner options since there isn’t a restaurant on site.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice and pretty room and comfortable bed and bathroom with jacuzzi. Personnel is kind.
Cons: - jacuzzi was dirty upon arival and we had to clean some kind of blood spots out of it before we could use it - in the middle of the night some guest was making trouble for hours and no one of the hotel/reception was there to do anything - we mentioned that we would go on a tour and would have breakfast at 7. The lady from the hotel didn’t arrive until 7:15 to start preparing the breakfast in the restaurant - we handed in laundry and got it returned with chlorid stains! When mentioning this they sort of said it couldn’t be their fault?!! T-shirts and boxer shorts that we had to toss out.. really a shame.
7,9 Good
Pros: the view for the city :) good breakfast quiet neighborhood it is 30min walk to center plaza - not so close but possible,
Cons: unclean pool, and lots of mosquitos on it :(
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, large and very clean. The hotel is located in a quiet, green neighborhood just outside the city.
Cons: I enjoyed everything. Only one small problem was someone forgot to send a taxi to meet me at the airport which we had confirmed in advance. I found a taxi easily but perhaps it’s good to reconfirm several times in advance if you request this service.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Luxe boutique hotel. Small and really beautifull. Very good bed and bathroom nice pool! And good vieuws over Salta. The staff was very helpfull. Before we came they contact us about a restaurant on christmas eve because nearly everything is closed than. They arranged a really nice Argentinian restaurant for us ( viego Jack II). Also they helped with the car rental.
Cons: A little touch of personal christmas athmosfere, because they say: a home away from home. Say a small drink for the guests on christmas eve or a smal christmas touch with the breakfast. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room or in the living room.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is kind and helpful. The apartments are really nice and properly cleaned every day.
Cons: I have experienced issues with the heater, which I suddenly could not switch off and made the room very hot during the night. When I reported this, the central heating has been switch off, but the night later it was on again. Wi-Fi might stop working for a while. It seems to be a problem with the provider and not with the hotel. Some savoury for breakfast would be nice.

Cons: Breakfast could have non sweet options and better coffee

Cons: The restaurant looked a bit sad so we had dinner in the bar. Breakfast is a bit cramped not enough tables and we had to wait to be seated.

Cons: Nothing in particular
5,0 Okay
Pros: Just the location
Cons: The room was icky. The carpet gross. The walls dirty. The sheets and towels old and thin.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff were very friendly! Comfortable car park
Cons: They had to cut water supply overnight, which meant toilets were out of use throughout the night, not ideal with small children. They couldn’t offer me any alternative. Hotel is dated and no representative of Sheraton chain
