Hotel Olive Sakai - Adults Only - Sakai - Building
1
8,3 Excellent (125 reviews)
R1 063+
Overview Reviews
Located in Sakai, Hotel Olive Sakai - Adults Only is within a 15-minute drive of Hamadera Park and Sakai City Hall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: 'Love Hotel' rooms are a very good alternative way for a very comfortable stay in Japan, because they are very spacious and well equipped, e.g. good acoustic insulation, super size bed, huge private bathroom, often including a whirlpool etc. (actually over-equippied, e.g. with even a karaoke system, gaming machine and high-tech light(show) system, which is not easy to handle since the instruction for the many light and air condition switches is only in Japanese). But the staff is very friendly and helpful, even that hardly speaking English. The hotel is located at half-way between Kansai airport and central Osaka, just a few minutes to walk from local Nankai line Ishizugawa station. In and near the train station there are some 24-hour convenience stores, retaurants and shops. Direct (local) train connections to Namba Station in central Osaka every 20 minutes, and the famous Sumiyoshi taisha (grand shrine) can be reached easiest just after 5 train stops in the direction to Namba Station.

Pros: The hotel is a love hotel and we knew it beforehand. It was still special to have these extra "amenities", such as a slot machine and a money exchange machine in the room. It was clean and quite big. They also lend a cell phone in the room. We stayed there before going to airport, so the location was close to the train and the price was attractive.
Cons: Problems with the wifi, but we managed to use the cell phone that was available for free

Pros: The location was amazing. It is located in the train station and has everything you need near by. Awesome restaurants and bars very near by. A supermarket underneath as well as a Lawson's.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and the fact that you have the option to not have the maids clean your room in order to save water was great. I like hotels that make eco-friendly choices.
Cons: The synthetic sheets made it not very comfortable to sleep because I would get hot very quickly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and the bedroom is spacious.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for food and seeing the city. Not as convenient if you want to use Osaka as a base to see the surrounding cities. JR Osaka would be a better option. They also give you a mobile phone to use during your stay called “Handy”, allows you to use phone and wifi.
Cons: Rooms feel a bit old but it may be the style they are going for as they style the hotel in a European 18th century. Also rooms feel small but that may be the normal size for Japanese hotels.

Pros: Good location, excellent services
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service from Concierge and front desk staff. Convenient location to OCAT, JR Namba Station and local subway lines. Walking distance to Dotombori, Shimsaibashi, and other shopping streets. Good local restaurants in alley ways close by.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Although the chapel on the 22nd floor was a little kitschy, the hotel was grand, clean, and had great views over the city.
Cons: It was difficult to find the entrance the first time. The is a subtle entrance where you take an elevator up to the main lobby on the 22nd floor.

6,0 Good
Pros: Location was good. Buffet breakfast was also quite good. However, as in most Japanese hotels, the room was quite small.

Pros: location is just across dotonbori and just few walks away from nipponbashi station so it's really accessible.
