Location is good along the strip, but the "view" from my ground floor window was a giant pile of old chain link fencing sitting right outside in an overgrown patch of grass. I suppose it's best to just leave your blinds closed here..

Pros: Easy access from the TransCanada Hwy since I was here for one night on my way to Winnipeg. I liked the clean modern style of the room. Floors were easy to keep clean with my dog. No carpeting!

Cons: When you arrive they assign you to a smoking room even though they had 3 none smoking room and to get the none smoking you had to pay extra. I go to Edmonton every year along with Kingston and used to stay at Hotel 6 but if you're more interested in the extra few dollars, I will stay elsewhere

Cons: There is a sign above the taps in the washroom that advises you to turn them on and let run for "awhile" in order to get hot water. I let the shower run for 15 minutes and the temperature only increased from "cold"... to at best, "room temperature". Needless to say, the lack of hot water is not only inconvenient , but also un-hygienic and a complete deal breaker for me. I will definitely NOT be back.

Cons: A lot of wear on the building exterior, pieces of the siding were dangling and banging in the wind (scary to park under). Thin walls, we heard our neighbors music at 1 am loud and clear. Bathroom was tiny but large counter.

Cons: This hotel needs a full renovation. It is a 1 star at best. Not to mention that we had to go straight to the Carwash because our truck had so much bird feces on it. The bed was comfortable. That is the only thing that kept us from walking out.

Cons: Since the 2 pillows are thin, I was happy I took my own pillows. The bedspread is made from crinkly material which I took off the bed cause it bothered my skin. Smooth materials are nicer to sleep with.

Cons: I have stayed at this location several times in the past. However, this time I booked this room online for 2 of my employees for 2 nights. Rate said "1 room, 2 people", but did not specify 1 or 2 beds, so I called the hotel directly to ensure that there would be 2 beds in the room at this rate as both staff are male. Desk clerk advised that this was correct and that the room had two queen beds. Next day I received a call from the owner demanding an extra fee for 2 beds. I advised him of the conversation with his staff but he was adamant that I pay an extra $30.00 and that he didn't care if I went somewhere else.
