Pros: We enjoyed the dining experience , staff were very personable, and the chefs little treats were lovely .
Cons: The room 302 was too small. I felt for Deluxe double it was not enough space , even though the terrazzo was there it was too hot in summer. 3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Location and service are excellent
Cons: Breakfast is not delicious
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is great right on the Arno river. The check in process was good and the overall stay was also good.
Cons: The staff at the breakfast restaurant were extremely unprofessional and caused different guests to complain. One time they told a guest he should leave because he did not pay for breakfast even though that can be paid for at the restaurant. I was asked for my room number multiple time by two different people and when I order a cappuccino I was brought an espresso and when I mentioned that I had ordered something else, the waitress said that she would just get me milk. The waitress kept talking on her phone on several occasions and when the lady on the next table ordered juice the waitress told to go get it herself. The breakfast experience really affected my opinion of the hotel.

Cons: It would be great to have a lift (there are several sets of stairs), but this wouldn’t prevent us from staying here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect place for our visit. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Elisabetta was a wonderful host and the location of her property was perfect. A couple minutes walk from the Boboli Gardens, and short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our host met us there and was lovely. She took care of all our needs and made sure our kids were comfortable. The room was beautiful and we could look down on the street or even open the windows for air. The best pizza place in town was across the street and it was very close, walking distance, to all we wanted to see.
Cons: The internet didnt work deeper in the room. No lift. Not a major issue, hit good to know.

Pros: I stayed one night with my daughter, who is attending school in Florence. Everything about the hotel and its staff was superior to what one would expect. We ate both lunch and dinner at the hotel and it was special. The new Executive Chef took time to visit and talk about the menu and local cuisine at both lunch and dinner. The entire staff couldn' t have been any nicer and was attentive without being on top of you. The site was like a postcard
Cons: I had to catch a 6:00am flight thus missed breakfast with the morning sun

Pros: Staff were really really nice! Especially the door man and the receptionist from Croatia! He made the check in process very easy, and kept on asking if we need anything. Pros: Kindness of the staff, very helpful as well. Very clean hotel, great location in Florence, easy to reach by car, and very nice parking service. Nice value for money in this location with this kind of standing.
Cons: The air conditioning was a little bit too intense in the lobby, and the temperature shock with the outside is sometimes harsh. Little bit expensive, but for the location in the center of Florence and with this standing, very nice value for money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff super nice , breakfast was delicious. Great customer service, very clean and rooms were very nice
Cons: Everything was perfect
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: Breakfast was appalling, service was slow, rooms are not sound proof and very small and basic
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous! Made you feel like a VIP. Rooms were small, but charming and so comfortable. One outlet was universal, so we could charge more devices without multiple adapters. Great breakfast and tea in the afternoon. Only 10-15 min from the sights. Has an elevator, so it's also good for tired legs at the end of a long day or family travel or elderly travel. Decent hair drier which is good to know since many hotels don't have very good ones.
Cons: These suggestions not a criticism of the hotel. Rather a few notes for potential travelers. Most hotels in the area seem to have shampoo, but not conditioner. Also be prepared for small (but very very good!) cups of coffee.

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Junior Suite was awesome. Very large. Very high vaulted "damier" ceiling and tall windows with double-double pane windows. Super comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom. A bit more pricey however worth every penny. Also highly recommend the pool complex, situated 10' from the hotel on a hill (multiple pools, Oliver trees, grass and wood flooring). Hotel has a free shuttle. Breakfast was great as well. And of course perfect location. We took all our dinners in fabulous restaurants less than 10' walking distance (as well as all main Florence museums and churches). Highly recommend this property.
Cons: The Spa is underground, dark and had several small rooms (no front desk, no locker, no towel). My wife and I didnt find it attractive so we didnt use it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location. So convenient and close to all attractions and shopping district, yet on a quiet street.
Cons: Nothing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: nice place and nice hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had booked in for one night for our honeymoon and from arrival, everything about this hotel was amazing. The valet car parking saved us having to negotiate the streets of Florence to find a car park. The greeting from the manager and his colleagues was so welcoming and we felt very comfortable immediately. Check in was seamless and everything was explained to us in detail. The location for exploring the city was outstanding, with a few attractions only minutes walk away. We had opted for a junior suite that came with its own mobile smart phone for use out and about to save our data. Also included was a shuttle service to the nearby pools up in the hillside- only 15 minutes away, we can highly recommend booking a time slot and taking a few hours out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Flip flops and towels included! We didnt get a chance to use the onsite spa facilities, but they looked very good and the treatments at a reasonable price. The room itself was spectacular- clean, cool and very luxurious with one of the most comfortable beds ever. It was quiet and felt a world away from the busy streets. We decided to take breakfast in our room the next morning to make the most of it! We had cocktails in the bar in the evening that were very well made and delicious- the lovely bar tender, Don, was very friendly and chatty, despite my Italian not being great! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning soon, as one night was not enough!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Central, staff
Cons: The smell on the ground floor. For sure difficult to fix, but impossible to be transparent to our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has the perfect balance between boutique elegance and style while being run with the precision of military operation. From the manager, Paul, to Yanni and all of the staff at Firenze Number 9 they made the stay what it was. They were always attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely cared. The rooms were beautiful, clean and tended to daily. I particularly recommend their fabulous cocktails made as well as anywhere I have been. We are sad to leave but will certainly be back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulously located, small boutique hotel, with everything you could need. The reception staff could not be more helpful
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Florence. It is steps away from the Duomo, but tucked away so that it is quiet and seems to be off the beaten path...perfect location! The hotel is beautiful and the staff is attentive. The lobby is very comfortable, lots of attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is lovely, with many options.....something for everyone. This is our second stay at this hotel and we will return. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice location, very clean rooms
Cons: A bit pricey.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Helvetia Bristol could not have been warmer and more accommodating during my four night stay. Their warm welcomes and spot-on suggestions were greatly appreciated. I love this hotel and will definitely return. It is a historic boutique hotel (don't expect large rooms). The location cannot be beat in central Florence.
Cons: The rooms are small and in need of a little love (new carpet).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The most beautiful and tasteful refurb I have ever seen in a hotel. The welcome macrons were delicious and my junior suite was a fairytale! The mattress was divine and the winter garden downstairs was lovey!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. Spacious and clean room. Beautiful atmosphere. Professional staff.
Cons: Internet connection was almost impossible. The flush of the toilet did not function effectively (in a deluxe room). These were rather frustrating. The staff could be friendlier.

Pros: The staff was unbelievably kind and service top notch. They were very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel decor is beautiful- transports you to the Renaissance era!

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a great location. Service was excellent.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful, classic hotel, sumptuously appointed, but not over the top. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is wonderful. The breakfasts are elegant. (Best croissants of our trip!) The location is perfect, close to everything. Wonderful in almost all respects, BUT . . .
Cons: The hotel has a problem with noise, especially on the Via del Pescioni side. We were on the second floor, and disturbed during the night by revelers in the street, but especially by the very loud noises of service vehicles starting about 6 am. The hotel must be aware of this, because they provided ear plugs (!) by the bedside. (We should have had the wits to read this ominous sign.) They moved us to a room on the other side for our second night. Avoid rooms overlooking the street! Also, there is no coffee machine in the rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. 10-15 minute walk to everything, but quiet location. Service like one does not find anymore. Worth the money.

Pros: My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights after our wedding, and it was an incredible experience. The facilities are incredible, and the villa has a very intimate feel as there are only 44 rooms on site. Great pool, complimentary breakfast, and shuttle service into town almost every hour. Staff were incredible, we had the best stay here!
Cons: Drinks at the bar (cocktails and wine) are very overpriced.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and excellently managed hotel with stunning interior design and art to look at. The interior design is conservative and takes traditions of the Renaissance into account, without being too overloaded or heavy. A perfect place for privacy and rest, the staff is attentive but keeps itself in the background. So the place is yours to be discovered. The breakfast was presented with many glutenfree options. Ideal for a romantic stay or with friends.
Cons: Everything was just perfect

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very cute! These couple of words best describe whole hotel. Appearance, rooms, staff, breakfast.. Very clean quiet room with convinient bed is what you need after city sightseeng or shopping. Excellent place for few days stop at Florence.
Cons: We struggled to find how to get to the hotel by car. The address on booking.com site takes you to the main entrance from the embankment side. And you cant stop there even for few minutes - the one way street is very narrow and you stop whole traffic. A little advise to those who come to the hotel first time by car - call to reception 5 minutes before arrival, ask consierge to meet you at the main entrance and show the way!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Simply delightful. A very quiet refuge from the hustle of Florence. Great view of River Arno.
Cons: Th WiFi reception was marginal.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location. The hotel is beautiful and the people who work there are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had all I needed for the night I stayed there. The taxi for the airport was there in 3 minutes. Probably my review should say excellent rather than good.
Cons: The drain in the shower was slow. I forgot to mention that to the front desk employees. I'm sure they would have fixed that if I had let them know.
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is just few meters from the Bridge Ponte Vecchio
Cons: Parking is availble only for 27€-37€ per-night Plus adding tje city tax for 6.5€ per-person per-night.

Pros: Location Location Location.. perfect.. close to many attractions. Breakfast was great, staff friendly and very helpful. Lobby staff very helpful.

Pros: Gorgeous hotel with lovely friendly staff. Amazing selection at breakfast and dinners were fantastic. Didn’t want to leave!
Cons: If anything could have made it better it would be for the pool to be open later into the evening. On the days we were out all day it would have been nice to relax by the pool in the evening
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Best Hotel in Florence, welcome, Cleaning, Spa, Breakfast, and Amazing Staff! We have been answered for anything we needed, Enjoyed every second and already miss it.
8,0 Excellent

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The facilities were immaculate and the food was some of the best we have tasted in tuscany. Amazing hotel will be recommending highly to friends and clients.
Cons: Cannot day a negative word about the hotel or its staff. Loved everything about it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with great rooms and views directly on the Arno. Quiet & peaceful. Excellent food and service. Fantastic breakfast offering. Spa was amazing and so much enjoyed with a grotto hot pool, steam and sauna. Staff very friendly with great concierge services available. Shuttle bus and bicycles. Could not reccomend this hotel any higher - was best hotel of our entire trip stay and well worth the price. Wife was over the moon happy with this choice...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful Room 202 - balcony and view of the Arno Shower and tub in room with view of Arno Breakfast is delicious Pools and pool area Shuffle service
Cons: It is worth having a look at their website where you can do a virtual tour of all the rooms - they vary somewhat and aren’t all as the photos suggest so you could perhaps request a particular room in advance according to your taste. All the rooms are excellent but like I say, do vary in their features. We moved after our first night as wanted a room with a more of a view of the Arno - this was no trouble at all for the wonderful team and manager. It is a bit pricey, but in line with expectations.
6,3 Good
Pros: Some staff members were friendly. It was walking distance to the centre of Florence. There was a shuttle service which we took in and out of town.
Cons: Some staff were dismissive and not very friendly. The pool area was small and not very relaxing. The location is right on a busy road. The view onto the Arno river from here is actually not very picturesque at all (and you can't see it from the ground floor). The room looks great online but in person it's just very cheaply decorated and the space is much smaller. It's just photographed very well. The breakfast is okay.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: staff - location and staff
Cons: being trapped in a hotel!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great property. Complete renovated summer home with Arno view, swimming pool and spa. Staff was always available to help. Free bikes and shuttle service to the city centre.
Cons: - a bit far away from city centre, how ever still possible to walk there or use bike/shuttle bus - staff is kind and always ready to help, but some staff members do not seem to understand English completely, a bit disappointing for 5* hotel - swimming pool outside closes at 19:00, longer opening hours would have been nice
7,5 Good
Pros: Good ac.
Cons: Pool
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful setting
Cons: The open time for swimming pool is too late.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, just outside the city centre (30’ walking or 10’ by bike which the hotel offers for free). An ideal location to combine a relaxing location with the proximity of one of the world’s most beautiful cities!
