Pros: This is a good hotel if you want something in a great location with no frills. Very simple, clean and nothing special. The breakfast was a lot better than I thought it would be. Rooms were simple, small and clean. The bathroom was nice and good sized.

Pros: I really appreciated the staff of the hotel. They were kind and helpful. I made myself at home in the hotel. I decided to change my preceding accomodation because it was awful (Hotel Maria). After this bad experience I spent blissful time in Hotel Bologna, so eventually my time in Pisa was amasing partly due to Hotel Bologna. Many thanks! I really liked the approach of the receptionist to me when I arrived. He was kind and sympathetic. My room was neat, peaceful and elegant, which met my expectations. The breakfast was delicious and rich.

Pros: The location is too perfect as it is very near to the train station. Our room was on the 7th floor with a massive windows and has a very nice view. And the best part was the breakfast -- it was excellent! Kudos to the Filipino staff present in the breakfast room today (he might be the Chef) for being so nice and accommodating. We really did enjoy our breakfast. Thank you Hotel La Pace for a very comfortable stay. A child-friendly hotel, too. We will definitely come back again.

Pros: The location was very convenient to the train station, airport, and the historic sights of Pisa. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly. We checked in late at night, and the front desk person was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Check out with other staff was the same. The room was clean and met our expectations.

Cons: The immediate block or two right around the hotel felt a little unsafe late at night, but the front desk staff was very helpful in recommending where to go and what areas were safe for walking at that time. During the day, the area did not feel unsafe.

Cons: Our first two visits were fine but when we arrived for our last stay, only 3 days after the previous visit, we discovered that the air conditioning had been turned off for winter. it was still warm in Pisa and choosing a hotel with air con was an absolute key criteria for us. So the room was far too warm and too noisy with the window open. The main issue with this was that neither the hotel website or booking.com mention this fact. Both advertise this hotel as having air con with no indication that it is summer only.

Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t switched on throughout the hotel. Hotel room was baking like a sauna. Super uncomfortable and disgusting. We had to keep the window open for fresh air and cool breezes, but it was on the highway so we didn’t sleep all night. I would caution anyone staying here not to.

Pros: The location is perfect for an early train to the airport in the next morning. It is 180 yards from the Pisa Centrale Train Station. We were checked in and out by different staff-both very friendly and super helpful. Our room was a double and very spacious with good bedding a spare pillows in the wardrobe. Always a joy to have extra pillows. The bathroom has a great shower, toiletries, and lovely white towels There are a few stairs to climb on entering the hotel but there is a small elevator which is great if you have heavy luggage. Fantastic selection of cold cuts, cheeses and lots of bread/pastries. Fresh cappuccinos made for us on request and no extra charge. There is a fantastic restaurant just across the road from the hotel called Lo Schiaccianoci (The Nutcracker) excellent fresh food and local wines-very reasonable. Opens at 7.30 and is busy.

Pros: The hotel is in close proximity to the train station where i dropped off, a short walk away and i arrived, the room was clean and cozy. Pisa being a small town it was easy to reach everything i wanted to see on foot in a short amount of time even from Terminus, the price was also very affordable for that one day stay. In the future if i'd visit Pisa again and stay for longer i'd definitely give Terminus another go.

Pros: The location is very good, especially if you are going to use the train in your travel. Easy to get to the shopping area, the leaning tower and the duomo (historical square). The receptionist was very hospitable and friendly. Spoke some Russian.

Pros: The location is perfect for an early train to the airport in the next morning. It is 180 yards from the Pisa Centrale Train Station. We were checked in and out by different staff-both very friendly and super helpful. Our room was a double and very spacious with good bedding a spare pillows in the wardrobe. Always a joy to have extra pillows. The bathroom has a great shower, toiletries, and lovely white towels There are a few stairs to climb on entering the hotel but there is a small elevator which is great if you have heavy luggage. Fantastic selection of cold cuts, cheeses and lots of bread/pastries. Fresh cappuccinos made for us on request and no extra charge. There is a fantastic restaurant just across the road from the hotel called Lo Schiaccianoci (The Nutcracker) excellent fresh food and local wines-very reasonable. Opens at 7.30 and is busy.

Pros: The hotel is in close proximity to the train station where i dropped off, a short walk away and i arrived, the room was clean and cozy. Pisa being a small town it was easy to reach everything i wanted to see on foot in a short amount of time even from Terminus, the price was also very affordable for that one day stay. In the future if i'd visit Pisa again and stay for longer i'd definitely give Terminus another go.

Cons: There is no iron in the room which is quite unexpected for a 4 star hotel. They have iron in a common place but the location is not convenient. If you want to extend your stay , you should inform them earlier. The staff don't seem to be interested to extend 1 night after 10 nights stay.

Got upgraded to a superior deluxe room upon arrival which was a lovely gesture, big comfortable bed with a nice modern bathroom. Very impressed for the one night we stayed!

Pros: Nothing, except hotel being opposite train station.
Cons: Didn't give the correct room booked and when questioned they changed the room after few arguments (rude !!). However, the new room was occupied !!!! We entered the room at night and some one was already sleeping !! Oppsss!! Horrible !! Again down to reception and now they changed to a suite room. However, the water colour in the taps were brownish with some metal kind of smell !! Sinks were blocking etc...can't belive it !! Back to reception again, and now they changed to one more suite after a bit an argument !! Which is not the best but we had no choice to stay in because it was already 12pm at night and we booked only for 1 night with a child !! Only good thing is it's just opposite train station !! Strongly recommend to avoid this place !! Very rude people in reception & horrible breakfast as well !!

Cons: Hotel is supposed to be **** and is quite expensive, but you do not get a luxury at all: * the room seems not renovated for quite some time (rust in shower, old furniture) * there is no comfort if one wants to work (table is hardly enough for a laptop, also seat is terrible) * I would also assume there were bed bugs (did not find them, but got bitten twice...)

Also, the hotel is at the main train station and the surroundings (especially people) around it didnt make me too safe to walk alone in the evening, but nothing happend so it was ok too. It is good though if you travel in the evening and you can get to your hotel right away.

Cons: In one word: grim! Total rip-off and not worth the price - it would have been cheaper for us to have stayed an extra night in a 4 star hotel in Florence and gotten an early bus to Pisa airport instead of wasting our money on this place, just because of it's proximity to Pisa airport; totally dated decor and very basic room (the outside of the hotel looks far better than the inside!); staff weren't the friendliest; and while location is close to the airport, we saw other hotels that were closer. It's definitely not a good location for walking into the main attractions of Pisa, which means you'll end up paying about €15 for a taxi into the sights! Honestly, don't waste your money on this place.

Cons: Considering the price, I think the facilities could have been much better. The room didn't have an electric kettle. The options were limited for dinner in the restaurant. The taste was okaish but expensive. There were no complimentary water bottle which is really common in these "4 star" hotels.

Cons: The hotel hardly corresponds to a 3 star qualification, it´s far from the center and it should have a shuttle service to the center as many 3 and 4 stars hotels were I´ve stayed before, we have spent a fortune in taxi, some staff members were nice, others didn´t make any effort and treated guests in different ways (it´s curious because I have read the same comment in some reviews), the entrance of the hotel is nice but they use parfum sticks everywhere that rather smell awful and provoque headackes, the bedroom had lots of dust, the curtains were dirty and the windows as well (although daily room service was good), but there was a deep cleaning maintenance needed, the carpet in the corridor was old and dusty. The restaurant service was good, they served aperitivo after 18.00 with snacks and the staff was nice.

Pros: I really liked that it was super close to the airport! and it only took me about 15 minutes to walk to the Tower of Pisa and the Piazza. It is a great location for sure. They did let me check in a little early which was really kind.

Cons: We were told our breakfast was included when we checked in but to find out in the morning it wasn't. The head waiter was not very nice about the situation, he was a jerk.

Cons: It was advertised on booking.com that there was a pool and sun Loungers when we got there we were told that the pool was closed but this was not mentioned in the booking also when I said this to the staff they did not offer any kind of compensation and were very unhelpful even telling me that they didn’t have a manager for me to speak to, what kind of 5 star doesn’t have a manager? Overall place is run down not worth the money and the hotel was basically empty such a bad sign, wouldn’t recommend

Cons: I booked this place because it had a gym, which was decent. I also decided to splurge on a Junior Suite since I had two nights there. The room was definitely not the cleanest. There was still hair from a previous guest on the bed and on the floor, it was a bit tattered and the water situation was a bit strange. When you opened the faucet the water was like brown for a bit then it cleared up. Not sure if this is a Pisa thing? or if it was just a plumbing issue. I would have given this place an overall great rating but honestly the cleanliness thing really bothered me. I travel A LOT and rarely take my time to write reviews, but this place truly was a bit disappointing on this point. The staff was nice enough, the breakfast was 'ok'. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you are wanting to stay more than just one night. If you don't care about this kind of stuff then overall it was fine for the price. But you get what you pay for.

Cons: The organisation of the breakfast fare is strange as it is placed far apart and somewhat disorientating. The milk is very strange in taste not to our liking. Also the bath water was a strange brown colour possibly due to the heavy rain the day we arrived.

Better to go out there late at night so it's not crowded. Nice neighborhood. Good food near the vicinity especially the Indian Resto just beside the building.

Cons: There is no elevator so you have to bring your luggage through the stairs. Some sort of exercise though. The location is far from the Train station. But a good walk is better if you don't have too much things with you. *Sadly we forgot our phone charger in the room (our fault) :(

Cons: The room was not quite that I have seen on the picture with the double bed made up from 2 single beds (freestanding ones!) Wifi signal in our room was very week Also we got the email asking us to pay city tax online and the application has charged us for doing it! that was very unfair. I emailed to the hotel but didn't get response. It is great little town and a nice little hotel just some things could be improved -)

Cons: We specifically booked (and confirmed) a triple room with 3 beds. We got a room with 2 beds, and a rude and unhelpful response from the owner (once we managed to speak to him). When we arrived (at 19.30, within our 19.00 - 20.00 estimate), reception was unmanned. There was no plan b for if we had not found our way in through the door code on the fire door, and no one to speak to about the fact our room was not as booked. He denied that we had written agreement that there would be 3 beds. When we showed him the confirmation from booking.com, he said it was an automatic response that the hotel had not seen. The room was also poorly maintained, and noisy too.

Cons: Room is very dated as well as the bathroom. We had a shelf right on top of our bed so when you try to lay down or get up from your bed you have to very careful not to band your head. No elevator so be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was horrible!
