Pros: Tor view was the ideal location for a few days in Padstow. James and Lisa were pleasant and helpful and the facilities and food were excellent. The accommodation was barely 10 minutes walk into the town and our room had a view of the Camel Estuary and the breakfast room upstairs had an even better one! We had parking on the property and the location was quiet.
Cons: Cant think of anything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Tor View. James and Lisa are lovely and we felt very welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and the toiletries and the tea, coffee & biscuits were a nice extra touch. The breakfast was top notch, with lovely views out over the estuary. The location is great, just a short walk to the harbour. We highly recommend staying here, and if we return to Padstow we would 100% return to Tor View.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Cons: Absolutely nothing we didn't like !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The croissants were extra flaky and the breakfast was cooked to perfection every time. The room was beautifully serviced each day and the hospitality was the perfect balance of non intrusive care. We love Cornwall and this property is a short walk into padstow harbour. We look forward to coming back here again and highly recommend Tor View B&B to couples wishing to stay in a great location and great little property with great hosts.
Cons: The ensuite was a little compact but there is a communal bathroom in the hallway if you want to have a bath. Otherwise it's a shower. But it's not a five star hotel so for a B&B it's good enough.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: So close to the sea and shops
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Chris was a great host, very happy and always said hello and bye when you came in and out. Made you feel welcome. Recommended best places to eat and places to go. Lovely breakfast, clean. Not a fan of a shared bathroom but other rooms do have en-suites. We had a balcony and seaview which is better lol. Only main downfall was parking - it's only free if you manage to get a space outside which is very difficult and very limited being close to the beach and home owners also obviously take majority. Apart from that it was a lovely break and place to stay. Thanks Chris.
Cons: Not a fan of a shared bathroom/toilet but other rooms do have en-suites. We had a balcony and seaview which is better lol. Only main downfall really was parking - it's only free if you manage to get a space outside which is very difficult and very limited being close to the beach and home owners also obviously take majority. There is a car park a few minutes drive away but personally I think that's abit far from the guest house which is also free from 4pm-9am which means you have to move it early in the morning to somewhere free. I think breakfast could be a little longer too, it was 8.15-9.15. Felt we couldn't relax as much as we had to get up early everyday day to get breakfast having paid for it.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We liked our stay very much. We`ve got a very warm welcome, the room was nice, silent and clean and the breakfast was also good. Thank you very much!

Pros: Lovely hotel, beautiful scenery
Cons: Unfortunately the room we stayed in was too hot and the fan was to loud to have on
9,0 Excellent
Pros: 13th wedding anniversary
Cons: Setting and staff
4,6 Okay
Pros: The receptionist was delightful. The location as advertised.
Cons: Travelling from Australia with four bits of luggage we were put into a room which was small by any standard and overpriced given it's size. Expectations of room size not met. Dimensions of rooms should be made much easier to find when booking. Hardly enough space or hooks to hang up a case load of creased clothes. It took us three days to be able to eat in the main dinning room and then the chef managed to overcook a dover sole, not that very dry, very thin dover sole is inedible but it gets very close. It was my birthday and to have complained would have upset my wife as she wanted it to be special. Anyway I tend to vote with my feet. Breakfast was good if you like your coffee served by a member of staff with Olympic standard body odour, BO wafting across the breakfast table...…...very avoidable in this day and age. I ordered the special martini on the cocktail list, they did bring a martini but asked me to try it as they did not know what was supposed to be in it...……..it was ok but I still have no idea what it was supposed to be.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Love it, absolutely fabulous there
Cons: A little too warm in the dining room in the mornings
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Lots of options from the buffet (including vegan & vegetarian), plus an additional menu for specific items. Lots of seating available also. Location is great for Newquay town centre; not right in the middle, but a short walk away. Room was comfortable. Hotel itself was quiet; there was an event one night with a full dining room, but it wasn't until getting to the bottom of the stairs on the ground floor that I heard them. Lots of lounge seating.
Cons: Some staff could be a bit more attentive. I shouldn't have to wait for someone to come back to the desk to tick me off the list and be taken to a table at breakfast, someone should be there always. Shower was ok, but that's all; a fine balance to get a decent heat using a tight tap, and not very powerful. Sink taps were too close to the back of the basin.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The standard of the food in the Terrace and the Samphire restaurant was excellent. The hotel is relaxed but the standards of cleanliness and helpfulness from the staff was again excellent. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are second to none. The Headland hotel is an experience that should not be missed.
Cons: Every thing was perfect.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location and the shower
Cons: Would rate it as 3* but with 5* prices! Disappointed

Pros: Excellent room and great food
Cons: A little isolated in the evenings, but we were travelling thorough and were out during the day so that didn’t impact our stay as we were happy to drink and eat at the bar / restaurant
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is just so nice and peaceful. Great staff, lovely rooms, great food (especially awesome breakfasts) and such a relaxed stay. Free and plentiful parking as well. Nice touch is the rooms are away from the hotel in separate buildings. The photos are of room 8
Cons: The location was a wee bit further away from Newquay than I expected and there is literally nothing else in the village of Mitchell. Wasn’t an issue as I had a car but anyone without transport would struggle.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel/pub is a rel gem. Great pub and the food is fantastic. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were great, really clean and fabulously modern. I would really recommend this place to anyone looking for a great central location to tour South Cornwall. Just off the A30 (don't worry absolutely no noise at all) so you can get to all the centres really quickly. We will definitely stay there again
Cons: Nothing prefect stay.

Pros: excellent location staff helpful food as expected
Cons: We were staying in a triple room. Although I appreciate the ensuite is catering for someone in wheelchair I think you also need to consider the able boded. A long mirror above the sink could be used by a standing person and a wheelchair user. The sink is set low even for a wheelchair user

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Arrived here Friday after a long journey was welcomed by Sarah who kindly showed us to our room and gave us a breakfast choice which was served up until 9.30 and as we are not early risers Sarah was quite happy to serve us breakfast as late as possible. Sarah also helped me find the best place to park, as I bought a new car the day before I was a bit nervous of parking it on the drive although I did try so as Sarah explained parking over the road is another option for me where the shops are this was my best option, and had no issues there at all. Friday evening myself, my partner, and little girl went out for a evening stroll got back at 11.30 expecting all doors to be locked up although we had a key to get in we didn’t need it as Sarah was still there and once again welcomed us home asking if we had a lovely evening. Saturday we had a beautiful breakfast to start us off for the day before heading to the zoo which was 5 minute drive from the B and B, blue reef aquarium is also not far from here which we also attended before chilling on the beach before heading back to the B and B went out for the evening upon returning Sarah was there doing all her chores she just don’t seem to stop. The day we was leaving once again beautiful breakfast and we sat around the table and had a lovely chat to Sarah although our check out time was 10 Sarah wasn’t strick with time as although she had lots to do she also had a lot of time for us. Overall the rooms were beautiful beds was so clean comfortable although we only spent two nights here it was like coming home from home highlight was seeing cats specially willow, as my daughter was missing her cats.sarah went out of her way to make us feel welcome, defiantly would return, thank you for a great stay

Pros: Very welcoming host and plenty of space in the family room. The morning hello from the resident labrador's head through our window was a lovely free of charge extra that was enjoyed by all, especially my giggling sons
Cons: No negative comments to make

Pros: Excellent home cooked breakfast which kept me going well into the afternoon, the family cats, one of which answers to the name of Willow is very welcoming and will know who is appreciative of her presence or not and will conduct herself accordingly. I fantastic Bed and Breakfast outfit splendidly run by an independent small family business. We will definitely re-book again. Sarah also makes fantastic Jams and Preserves all personally labelled and sold for a very reasonable price. You’ll find her advertising both the Bed & Breakfast and her Preserves on the Facebook group Shire and County trades.
Cons: Sarah could have had more cats.
