Pros: The food and the location right on the front
Pros: We liked the SPA and wellness area. The breakfast was also nice with the view to the sea.
Cons: We didn't like the room, it was old fashioned and the towels were very small. Also the bed wasn't a king size bed, it was two beds next to each other and the blankets were to thin. The iron plate was about 100 years old. The TV was quite small. Unfortunately the view was over the parking area. We expected to have a modern room looking at the sea, like we saw on the website when we booked. Value for money was low, it was too expensive for what it is. The hotel seems to focus on old aged people.. petty-bourgeois.

Pros: Breakfast was great, as well as the pool area, service and facilities. We rented bikes for a day, cheap and super easy. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing and the staff was really nice and service minded!
Cons: Wifi and beds did not live up to our expectations. Wifi was slow and since there was no 4G (with Vodafone) in the rea this was a bit of a problem since we wanted to watch Netflix in the evening. And the beds, unfortunately, were so uncomfortable that we did not really sleep well.
Pros: newly built
Cons: no lift

Pros: Really friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Good coffee and rolls at breakfast.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and flexible, always very helpful. The location with the sea-side view is marvelous. Parking is very good.
Cons: The room and the bathroom is by far too small for a room of this price. The interior of the room and bathroom was in good shape but outdated. The shower was not 100 % clean. This should be top for a room of more than 200,- EUR/night. With the next renovation the hotel should think about putting the restaurant at the top-floor.
Pros: Hotel staff and accommodations excellent. Special needs met (use of wheelchair).
Cons: Restaurant staff somewhat cold and imperious; not that helpful. (Food excellent).

Pros: Nice modern hotel with friendly staff. We had both a junior suite and a single room. The junior suite is wonderful - very spacious and comfortable, and with free drinks from the minibar (although I am unsure why it had two bedrooms - one would have sufficed). The single room by contrast is very small (and with a sloping roof on two sides), yet it has everything a hotel room needs to be comfortable - you can see that the staff has made the most of the limited space.
Cons: The hotel is slightly overpriced (especially the single room).
Pros: Fabulous apartments, newly redecorated, including everything I enjoy while traveling (and I do that a lot!!) as big comfortable bed, spacious bathroom including big nice new shower, and a great office room to work, read or simply relax.
Cons: Speed of wi fi connection can be improved
Pros: Dinner & Breakfast were excellent. Hotel is located in a quiet street, with a proper private parking. Hotel room with good facilities.
Pros: Staff was too friendly room so clean Breakfast too gud swimming pool nice spa room was clean
Cons: I think need a iron for clothes in every room

Pros: Value for money, very friendly staff and accurate description of the property. Gift voucher from the hotel for Bad Ahoi - Sauna, was an extremely pleasant gesture, especially on a freezing winter weekend.
Cons: Being picky - Twin mattresses combined to make double bed, but that's usual for the area and not really a problem.
Pros: Top class hotel and staff
Cons: No control over the heating
Pros: Amazing breakfast, beautiful view from my room, nice people.
Cons: Would have been great if the double bed had 1 large mattress instead of 2 smaller ones.
Pros: Breakfast was good
Pros: Very good breakfast, friendly staff, parking places. Even though we check-out early, we could let the car in parking place up until later that day.
Cons: Check-in at 14, check-out at 10- too big gap between. No fridge in room
With a stay at Hus Kiek In De See in Cuxhaven (Doese), you'll be steps from Grimmershörnbucht and 4 minutes by foot from Grimmershörn Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely B&B by the water
Pros: We had a problem arriving - car accident on the motorway prevented us from arriving earlier. We have received phone call checking on us and then someone was waiting for us well after office hours.
Cons: Paying extra EUR 15 for late check in not really caused by our sloppiness but force majeure
Pros: Very Clean and Modern. Very friendly staff.
Pros: Room facing garden, balcony, quiet, nice deco
Cons: Wifi did not work well.
Cons: internet was seriously poor signal. kept disconnecting every two mins
Pros: The location is superb. Very friendly staff, the breakfast was excellent.

Pros: My wife and I lucked out and were upgraded to the "Austernbank" apartment, a lovely 2 room + bath facility with a fantastic view of the Elbe estuary and the passing ship traffic, binoculars supplied. Very comfortable facility with an all-electronic kitchen. Great breakfast buffet in an adjoining building, all within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Very friendly welcome by the owner.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: Location was good

Pros: Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view. Breakfast was delicious. Easy parking.
Pros: Hi, It was very clean, beautiful, lots of light and you feel at home. Friendly atmosphere, quite. I believe adding a small fridge, kettle for tea or coffee and an iron can even make it more lovely.

Pros: Closeness to the sea, homey breakfast, design and atmosphere. Wonderful view on the sea from the breakfast room. Spacious and very conveniently located parking. Friendliness of the owners.
Cons: The shower-gel was not refilled but I believe if we would have asked we would have gotten it.

Pros: The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable. Very friendly owners
Cons: dripping tap
Pros: The best thing for us was the friendliness of the owners. There was absolutely no stress, no rules. I will definitely return to this very friendly and helpful place
Cons: There is a slight musty smell in the building due to it being at low level
Pros: Nice and serviceminded owner/STAFF. tasty and sufficient breakfast. clean room. bed and wardrobe ok. heated when necessary.
Cons: room with slope roof, a bit tiny and close, not very comfy. bathroom tiny, claustrophobic. no wall output for hairdryer.
Located in Cuxhaven, Hotel Stadt Cuxhaven is by the sea, within a 15-minute walk of Alte Liebe and Cuxhaven Water Tower. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: It was close to the dike. Exactly where I wanted to be.
Pros: Very friendly staff, a central hotel with all comforts thinkable
Pros: Very pleasant hotel with nice rooms. Clean and comfortable. Good location with restaurants, shops and the marina in short walking distance. A really nice atmosphere with great staff. Adequate secure parking
Cons: There is a significant building being constructed next door which means noise from 7 am and dust all over your car (or bike). As I write this (July 2019) I would reckon there is at least another three months of work to be done before it goes to just fitting out the inside. This is of course not the hotel's fault and it will be only a temporary issue. It didn't really bother us and the working hours on site are clearly restricted, but if you like a lie-in on a weekday, be ready.
Pros: This is a modern very nicely decorated hotel with lots of marine illustrations. The breakfast is superb. I really liked the honey-comb for the honey to go with the filled pancakes and the machine to make your own fresh-pressed orange juice. The rooms have facilities to make your own capsule coffee, and a tablet to inform you via multimedia of, for example, local events, facilities or TV program. The beds were comfy on the soft side. The hotel is located conveniently close ( ca. 500 yards/ meters )to the departure quay (Alte Liebe) for the Catamaran to Helgoland or for trips to the see the seals on the sandbanks. For the elderly or handicapped, it is a €5 taxi ride from the railway station.
Cons: That a bottle of water put out in the room costs nearly €3, and all offers from the minibar as well as the coffee capsules cost extra. In my bathroom some guests had probably dried their salty swimsuits on the radiator which had gone rusty. This may be because there are not enough chromed bars for drying (towels etc.) in the bathroom.
Pros: Young, fresh, and authentic
Pros: Great location for everything. Highspeed WiFi. Friendly staff.
Cons: Small rooms and the noise from the construction site next door at 7am.
Pros: The breakfast was nice.
Cons: Only one pillow with feathers. Bed not comfortable.
