The Avalon as a hotel is decent, I don’t have any real complaints but staying in other hotels on ocean drive, this one does leave some things to be desired. Pros (+) It’s located right on Ocean Drive which is where all the action is in Miami Beach. It’s across the street from the ocean, and they play live music every night. Their restaurant is one of the best in the area.

Pros (+) Great location in south beach. Friendly staff.
Cons (-) Room would not stay cool. A bit noisy, but that goes with location.

Pros (+) I enjoyed the small quaintness and that the hotel is on ocean beach drive. That's great if your visiting and are ready to grab drinks, food, and hit the beach.
Cons (-) I didn't like that the rooms are smaller, probably because it's an older building.
