Pros: Great calm location, beautiful surroundings, lovely room, pool and garden. Friendly and efficient service. Delicious food. Right in the middle of an amazing area of discovery (castles, prehistoric shelters, gardens, towns and villages).

Pros: The property is very nice, and good located (a few minutes from les Eyzies). Staff is friendly, and you can have a drink at the pool.
Cons: The pool wasn't clean. At 14€, the breakfast is not a very good option (could offer more choices, or at least fresh juices / fresh croissants). The bathroom is very confined, if you're 1m80 tall you have to bend a little to shower...

Cons: Was quite cold, air con unit struggled to heat room.

Pros: Proximity to Bordeaux Airport was a plus. Unbelievably fantastic restaurant. Really enjoyed our dinner. Very nice owners of the hotel and restaurant.
Cons: The town itself is a little disappointing. But we were there for its fabulous restaurant and ease to the airport.

Located in one of France's most beautiful villages, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from Château de Beynac and 10 km from Sarlat. It is set in an ancient sheep barn and offers en suite rooms with views of the medieval village of Beynac-et-Cazenac and free internet access in public areas. All the air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Pontet feature all the modern comfort and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, as well as a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. Guests can enjoy a typical, French breakfast with fresh juice, pastries and jams. Traditional cuisine is served at "Maleville", a restaurant which is situated along the River. Popular outdoor activities in the area include fishing, hiking and horse riding.

Pros: Very welcoming staff. Somewhat small but comfortable and well-updated room overlooking a small courtyard off the (very quiet) side street of the village. Hotel provides free parking in what would otherwise be a paid public space nearby. Affiliated restaurant is separate but quite close, with an open-air dining area right along the Dordogne and good quality and service. Wifi worked well. Overall, a great value given the quality and quiet placement in one of the region's most beautiful villages.
Cons: Breakfast was limited but fine.

Pros: Very clean with gorgeous views and friendly staff. We were worried about the holiday and not being able to get gas for our car. American credit cards don’t work at most gas stations in France. The owner offered to get a gas can of diesel for us! So nice! Breakfast was delicious too!

Pros: A quiet hotel in the middle of sunflower fields dominated by two castles. It has its own restaurant with a terrace, a swimming pool, a car park, tables outside on both sides and a good wifi. The reception is open only parts of the day so most of the time you feel like you're in your own house.
Cons: For somone not able to bring luggage to the second floor this might be an issue.
