Melbourne hotels near Queen Victoria Village

Pros: We liked everything, the room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the location was close to everything we needed and the breakfast was outstanding with so many different choices.

Pros: The lobby had a great feel to it and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had a great view.

Cons: There was a bit of construction in the area but didn't affect our experience to much.

Cons: Such a big named hotel having no swimming pool, and then its never mentioned while booking,that we have to pay a deposit of 200$. So it should be mentioned and the money should be deposited maybe in fair amount of 24-48 hrous to the persons account . Other than that all good

Pros: The pan pacific and the staff were exceptional for the 5 days we were staying there in the not perfect situation (covid 19)

Cons: Internet was advertised as with price inclusion, however extra fees applied. Staff at "37" lacked hospitality training. Couldn't order a meal for an hour, was ignored so I went up to my room instead.

Pros: It is definitely well worth upgrading to Yarra River views as they are mesmerising! This former Hilton hotel has been renovate so it is much brighter and modern. Great buffet breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.

Cons: Dressing Gowns and Towels weren't very soft and felt well used!!

Pros: The service was exceptional in the lounge. The entire staff were top notch. The hotel was well situated in the South Wharf so it was easy to find a restaurant.

Cons: Nothing. Great place to stay.

Pros: The hotel is nice, rooms are quite ok, views great, Club lounge only average, i paid top money for the stay and they closed the lounge way early, No breakfast in lounge it was on ground floor and breakfast was very average, like i said i paid top dollar, i would recommend staying elsewhere

Cons: Club lounge average, closed way early, i asked if the current situation would effect them but no talk of any discounts or anything was ever entered into, Breakfast was average, service bad, coffee delivered stone cold, Its not a 5 star hotel, despite the events in the world you dont have to drop your standards to 2 star motel level, and charge Top Top rates

Pros: The views down the river and the comfortable bed.

Pros: The room was positioned beautifully over the Yarra with a wraparound view and lots of natural light.

Cons: Our trip was the first chance in several months to simply relax and rejuvenate and to celebrate our first pregnancy. We looked forward to taking advantage of the view, enjoying netflix in our loungeroom, and the benefits of the club lounge. Unfortunately we discovered that there was an IT issue which mean casting was not available and was not resolved during our 3 night stay. Having stayed at Pan Pacific several times, we were disappointed that the club lounge had sorely undercatered for the amount of bookings and did not have enough food. We were physically pushed out of the way by other diners in their attempts to get to food, and subsequently we gave up on two of our evenings and either headed out or ordered (disappointing) room service. Pan Pacific has given us such great experiences prior to this and while we understand that circumstances are sometimes beyond control, we were so disappointed to be left without communication or alternative options.

Cons: Poor AC TV didn’t work - in either room . Complained to staff twice . Not good enough for a $700 a night room -price bumped up for Formular 1 ..also not good ...although understand not hotels fault that didn’t go ahead

Pros: We initially booked a Prestige Suite with Club Room Access and were advised upon check in that we had been "Upgraded" which was very exciting. Unfortunately, yes it was technically an "upgrade" to a newly refurbished King Suite room, but half the size of the Prestige Suite. We chose to stay in the smaller room due to the Prestige Suite available being old, and really weird smelling. Try and get on the top floor where all their suites are. Although we were disappointed that the check in assistant failed to mention room size, the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful and we had a wonderful stay in the end.

Cons: No Swimming Pool Not being advised our "Upgraded Room" was smaller than what we had originally purchased The Prestige Suites we were originally booked for was quite dated.

Pros: Overall standard. Proximity to restaurants,sports venues, theatres and most things in general.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like about the property

Pros: The staff - totally amazing, friendly, informative & simply nice. The view - unbelievably. The facilities- amazing. The experience - superb.

Cons: Only ordered room service, which was amazing. Plates left outside of room for hours to be collected.

Pros: Was set for a pickup at hotel from tour company and when they were not there concierge took charge of situation by locating and calling all 3 direct numbers available until he got ahold of someone. Timing was critical as missing a tour has its own bucket of problems because of his urgency response the tour was located and all proper arrangements were honored. He was solid. Excellent location views breakfast

Cons: Wifi did not work in room. Acoustics from outside in. Mattress was uneven in firmness.

Pros: Amazing woman at reception. Friendliness and helpfulness exceeded all my previous experiences

Pros: The bed was super comfortable and I wish I had those pillows at home. It was very quiet despite being in the middle of the busy city. Loved the automatic blinds. Great to have wine glasses and champagne flutes so we could drink our wine in style rather than from bathroom cups. The swimming pool is small but great to have. We loved the sauna and went there 2 times during our 1 night stay. Breakfast had lots of choice and was tasty. The downstairs bar had great dumplings and espresso martinis. Staff weelre lovely offering help at the door and the reception staff were very kind and polite. 10/10 would stay again!

Cons: Nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect.

Pros: Rooms were large and well apportioned. Breakfast was included and was terrific. Lots of options both hot and cold.

Pros: Staff was magnificent, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great location.

Cons: Our rom was at the back of the hotel and we were woken each night by the garbage trucks.

Pros: Oversized junior suite with all those little 'attention to detail' extras that you don't expect, but which make a difference. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Comfy bed.

Cons: Beautiful hotel. Exceptionally well appointed and deserves its 5 star rating. My wife and I had a great anniversary weekend and were updated to a suite, with a staff member bringing complimentary desserts to our room which were personalised to say congratulations. 10/10

Pros: The beds were amazing and comfortable. Facilities were outstanding and spotless. And staff were as friendly and helpful as possible. Even though Covid 19 is an issue at the moment, i believe Crown Metropol have every contingency possible in place as per health ministers advice.

Cons: The rooms could have a toilet brush and air freshner and sanitiser in them.

Pros: The location was great , the staff service was awesome.

Cons: The facility too old , especially for bathroom, it looks like 00s style .
