Pros: The price.
Cons: The place was filthy dirty, noise all night from all around us, ceiling in bathroom over tub/shower ready to fall in & mold present, old & yucky furniture, people loitering outside. We were very leary of our safety while walking our dog & our safety ALL night!

Pros: The price
Cons: I killed a spider and it had roaches
4,0 Okay
Cons: I didn't like the owner, who was kind of rude. It was also supposed to be dog friendly but wanted to charge me $20 for a 5 pound chihuahua. The bath was clean but very old. The bathroom fan was very loud. The beds were comfortable for one night but bedspreads were thin. The heat/cooling unit worked well.
2,9 Mediocre
Cons: Very noisy... poor condition.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: the window was open when i entered the room, and it smelled like someone vomitted. housekeeping must have been trying to air it out. the room itself was in need of paint, carpet cleaning and a general refurbishing. it was a cheap place to stay but for $20 more I could have stayed somewhere much nicer. this place is not much better than a crack motel. stay away.
Cons: the room smelled like vomit. the weirdos hanging around the property made u feel unsafe
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff. Friendly. Quick. Good value for the price; it is cheap and outdated, but they charge you accordingly so no complaints here.
Cons: Even though the hotel is smoke-free, I smelled smoke. It is the only reason I will not come back. Everything smelled like cigarettes.
1,0 Poor
Cons: Run down did not look like a bit like it what was promoted
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I found crumbs of food everywhere even in the beds.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom needs to be repaired and deep cleaned. Something (drain cleaner?) had been poured into the drain but not rinsed down. There was no plug in the tub and there was blood on the wall.
7,0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy.
Cons: Didn't sleep well due to interstate right next to motel. A weather strip around the door would of helped. There was light & Cold air coming through two sides of door! I kept warm but noise was non stop..... Not all bad, got what I paid for.
6,0 Good
Pros: Plenty of choices to entertain oneself if needed
Cons: Air conditioning not working and front door not very secure
6,0 Good
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Old, not updated, not clean

Cons: The only thing like what was the location
7,1 Good
Pros: Staff was super helpful. Indoor pool was cool. The concession part in the lobby had a very nice selection.
Cons: Visited family for the holidays, got in super late the first night and was ready to sleep in the next morning. Woke up at 8am to the maintenance guy pounding on our door. I swung the door wide open because I had just woke up and he said “are you okay in there?! The smoke alarms going off” to which I replied “yes”. I had just woke up, and I suddenly realized he was a huge dude and I’m a small 19 year old girl who’s never came out of town without either of my parents before, so I started shutting the door out of discomfort. To which he decided to come CLOSER TO MY CRACK OF SPACE BETWEEN THE DOOR and scream “YOURE NOT SMOKING IN THERE ARE YOU” and I screamed back “I JUST WOKE UP?!” And then slammed the door shut. So yeah that was a little awkward. Somebody should definitely let them know it is not okay to try to walk into woman’s hotel rooms. Also definitely not a staff problem, but everytime we would walk out of our room a lady a few rooms down would aggressively open her door and then just watch us walk all the way to the Elevator. Definitely probably a little tweaked out.

Cons: The cleanliness.
7,0 Good
Pros: I like the location of the facility.
Cons: I just didn’t think the product matched the price. The cleanliness of the carpet in the room was questionable and the room had a bad stuffy smell in it almost as the carpet had been wet and not properly dried.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, coffee, and the room was very quiet including a quiet wall register which regulated easily. The room was spacious. The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, and steam iron all worked. This is a nicely decorated hotel.
Cons: I would like the hotel to be cleaner over all. For example, the elevators and carpet in hallways was not as clean as it could be in the corners. Also, the room was a little dark. I don't like the choice of soap and shampoo. I had to purchase a bar of soap.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. 9,7 Excellent
Pros: The decor was very nice. The antique furnishings were elegant. The location was great, as there are many shops and restaurants within a block or two of the hotel. The downtown area of McKinney was fairly lively, but still had a small town feel to it. The restaurant attached to the hotel (Rick's) was very nice....bring your appetite! We enjoyed a peaceful getaway, while being a short drive away from the major shopping areas.
Cons: The rooms at the back of the hotel facing the alleyways (as ours was) are subject to the noises of trash and delivery trucks between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning. If you're not an early riser, this could be a bummer.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Very comfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly. They gave us great suggestions for places to go have dinner.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Quiet, quality furnishings and clean.
7,0 Good
Pros: Proximity to restaurants and shops
Cons: The hot water was either scalding hot or freezing cold and constantly went from one extreme to the other with every shower.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fun to have a night in a vintage-yet-updated hotel! The ceiling in our room must've been 15 or 20 feet. The exposed brick was tastefully done. And the location was wonderfully convenient to McKinney's downtown.
Cons: The room we had was above the bar area and sound (from the band in the evening) was not as muffled as we'd have liked. Additionally, the plantation shutters, while stylish, didn't block as much exterior light as I usually prefer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My new favorite hotel! Best bed ever!!
Cons: Absolutely not!
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The location on Square, The room styles are unique. The historic feel.
Cons: The hot water was out and they needed to start the water heater. Never had that happen before. The beds need an upgrade, Also the front entrance is hard to get in and out of with luggage.

4,0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful lobby, delicious breakfast - that we had to pay for - no one told us there was a charge until after we ate.
Cons: 1.Shower lever would not pull up at all! Finally, after gripping with a clean towel, and pulling repeatedly it came up. Then the shower nozzle sprayed well, but extra stream of water went straight up and fell right on to of your head - this was problematic for a lady not wishing to get hair wet. 2. Neither Outlet beside of the bed where you could conveniently plug in worked. Neither worked for recharging cellphones or anything else. 3. No booklet was available in the room with information about the hotel, the area, or other things. It was all accessed on TV if you knew where to search for it. 4. No indoor pool was available as advertised. They sent us to an indoor pool in the area - without towels. It was opened one day and closed the 2nd day with no place for grand children.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It was very well kept and close to a lot of things to do whether food or fun!!
Cons: There wasn’t much, I understood the pool being closed. But the only bad part was we requested some extra covers for the pull out mattress and it took about 2 hours before we received them. They were busy but it was a just a slight disappointment when you have kids waiting to go to sleep
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean & the housekeeping ladies were very kind. The guy working the bistro was also very kind.
Cons: The people at the front desk were not very friendly at all. There was also a high school dance on Saturday evening so there were loud teenagers everywhere (the parking lot, the courtyard, the lobby, on balconies, etc.) from early evening to early the next morning.

Pros: The building is nice, looks better online obviously. The bar tender Juan did a decent job. There were 2 weddings and some other large party there on Saturday night so he should have had some help. The breakfast was good. But they don’t have any milk alternatives.
Cons: They tried to charge me more than my booking.com price, they also told me breakfast wasn’t included in the $480 for 3 nights, but my booking.com confirmation said it was. Eventually after not letting up and showing my conformation email to 3 people they finally honored the booking.com price with breakfast vouchers. Some of the people working at the hotel are not the most friendly. The pictures of the hotel online made the room seem much larger and nicer.
7,0 Good
Pros: Hotel is really nice. Smells good. Fresh water when you arrive. The room layout was a bit different, but would work well for 1 or 2 people. The bed was firm. Loved the location around restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The manager mentioned there was a $9.00 parking charge to park on the property and was unwilling to remove. That is something that guests need to know. I found a place to park elsewhere for free. Not the friendliest, most accompadating manager.
7,5 Good
Pros: Central location
Cons: Pool was closed! Parking was tough with events going on at the event center.

Cons: No breakfast on xmas eve:(

Cons: TV was small and in a bad location It provided a bracket to turn at an angle. Although it was hard to view from the bed. The sofa was a modern abstract design and uncomfortable, very firm. Room was a long walk to elevator.

Pros: The heated pool
Cons: Rooms was not worth the price and even the people next door was so loud it took forever for security to come and even after the left they still was loud at different hours of the night. Me and my fiancé did not sleep good at all and the beds sucked

Pros: very friendly staff, nice hotel
Cons: room was a little musty

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: I booked a two bedroom suite with one king bed and two queen beds, small living area with a sofa bed. What I got was a two bedroom suite with a king bed and twin bunk beds and no small living area/sofa. I went to the front desk to ask about it and the lady said that was all that was available and that “it’s basically the same”. Tell that to my 70 year old mother who had to sleep in a twin bunk bed instead of a queen bed. I asked why I didn’t receive an email or call when I booked the room requested and it wasn’t available. She couldn’t give me a reason. I asked if the price of the room was different....she again said “no, they are basically the same with maybe a $2 difference in price”. Also there were only 3 towels in a family suite. I guess not everyone is expected to shower???

7,1 Good
Pros: Staff was super helpful.

Cons: My room was entered by a front desk associate in my absence and then we were falsely accused of smoking on the premises with no proof. We never smoked on the premises and they had nothing indicating that we did. I came back to an eviction notice after being gone for over 8 hours

Pros: I liked the front desk person. I liked the price and if it had been cleaner it would have been my favorite place so far.

Pros: The fact it allows pets for free
