Pros: Hotel rooms are good, renovated and very clean. The place is good to stay few days.
Cons: The food is not good and expensive comparing to what they serve. The buffet left en plein air to warm temperature may cause you some stomachache. The beach is terrible, a concrete strip with some spare sand. The sea in front of the beach is awful, full of boat gasoline. Sport Activities / Tours are expensive and, more over, you have the feeling that the hôtel will charge you a lot more than normally due to any request/activity you ask for.

Pros: It was a wonderful experience my family had in this beautiful, well maintained resort. We regret not staying longer. The place is of high standards and the food is of good quality. We enjoyed the Saffron, sports bar and Azure restaurants within the resort. i highly commend the staff here especially Liza and Romel who attended to my two boys at the crimzone activity area. We managed to have a quiet meal one night without my boys. Definitely a place for family and it caters for any age group. You won't be bored for activities but you can also find a place for recluse.

Cons: Terrible lines for check-in and check out almost an hour at peak times. Breakfast line was 45 minutes to an hour and the food was tasteless and not well presented, very very rushed feeling. Not at all of the same standard as other Shangri-La properties. The beach is also man made, very small, large grain sand that feels like sharp rocks, its awful.

In the evening there was some local cultural entertainment with a Sinulog style performance. Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, you can snorkel, paddle board or just chill and swim.

Pros: The pools were ok, but again damage was noticeable in the wave pool.
Cons: The food was very disappointing, and the rooms need an overall. Our fridge door was botched up, so there was a gap between the main fridge box and the door, the drawers kept opening on their own, the shower fittings were very cheap nasty plastic. Another issue was that we had to constantly remind staff about our orders. Three times often we had to ask for things before they responded. For a 5 star resort it should be better.

Pros: There are lots of facilities for kids. We had 2 children so they enjoyed a lot. Most of staff speak Korean so if anyone who can't speak in English would be a very good. Food was okay and staff were kind. All the amenities were clean as well.
Cons: They don't have free airport shuttle. They runs chargeable shuttle bus but there are few time slot so we couldn't use it. We have used grab taxi. They charged us half price for late check out, it was not good. Most of resorts okay with late check out without additional payment. There are almost Korean guests. It feels like I am in Korea. Anyway, we were Korean too. Housekeeper doesn't change a shower gown for a week even thought I asked them to change.

Cons: Jpark was too overrated hotel. The “waterpark” was small enuf to be covered in just 2 hrs. The checkin was slow. We reached at 11:00 am , got the room only by 2:00 pm. Hotel policy!! Food was too mediocre. Breakfast was also no fun and overcrowded. Rooms too small. Service seriously needs an upgrade. Anyways wont suggest anyone unless u hv nothing better to do.

Pros: This was by far the most wonderful place I have stayed at in the Philippines, and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was very pleasant and the food served at many places was way above par. Excellent!!!
Cons: I can't think of any improvements, as our 3 day stay was marvelous. Everyone we associated with at the Plantation Bay Resort, was very helpful and kind. I cannot come up with any complaints or recommended upgrade that need to be addressed.

Cons: When we arrived we were told the one of the main pools would be out of action for 1.5 days due to it being cleaned. We should have been made aware of this before arrival. We were offered an hour free kayaking as a gesture of goodwill which we did not end up using.

Pros: The food at Palermo was excellent. The 'free' airport transfer was an added bonus. All the staff were very nice and operated on a strict no tipping policy so even more so genuine. The spa and massage was also rather excellent.
Cons: When we arrived we informed that 2 of the pools, one of which was the one directly outside our room were closed for cleaning. They had not advised us prior to arrival and offered some access to a pool in spa which was completely irrelevant. We booked the lagoon facing room to allow us to walk out and jump in the pool. That was closed and it was not a satisfactory outcome offered and a fictional reason why. The whole place was in a state of refurbishment with painters and decorators everywhere.

Pros: The Hotel is very nice, modern, clean, with all amenities. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast and lunch buffet amazing, lots of options for every taste. Location close to all visiting sites in Cebu like the cathedral, El Nino church, San Pedro fort, the 2 Philippine' houses. We also hired a car with driver to go up the mountain to Taoist temple, Rome mausoleum, Amsterdam garden all nice places to see in the city.

Cons: The room needs maintenance very badly. The minibar door needs repair, the mirrors were a bit dusty. The toilet flush handle needs to be repositioned every time you flush as the water would just flow into the bowl not stored in the tank. We stay here quite often whenever we are in Cebu and we can see the difference from our previous stays.

Pros: Love the hotel staff - very courteous and helpful. Service was exemplary! The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise - what a view! Being on my own, I felt secure with the hotel's security (you can only access the floor of your room), and they announce visitors and callers beforehand. This should be done by all hotels.
Cons: The spotty Wi-Fi in my hotel room. I had to sit by the window to find that "sweet spot." The individual userid and passwords to access Wi-Fi from different equipment could be improved.

Pros: I stay at the The Henry each time I'm in Cebu. I like the variety of the rooms. I'm always excited to see the decor each time I check in. Size of the room compared to the price is a tremendous value.
Staff is so accommodating. I forgot my phone charger (disaster!) and they were able to loan me one to charge overnight until I could purchase a new one.
I am always warmly welcomed and my frequent stays are acknowledged.
Highly recommended.

Cons: I did not like the bathroom of my room. The drainage is not good and the bathroom floods when I am taking a shower. I think that this is only in my room (507) though and the situation might be different in other rooms. The shampoo container is also very hard and it is so hard to squeeze the shampoo out. I hope that they will change the packaging of the shampoo.

The food at the restaurant was also surprisingly good with big portions to share in case you did not opt for the buffet. There's also live music at the resto. Check in and check out was fast (faster than Seda Ayala)
Cons: 1000PHP deposit is required if booked via agency. Accessibility is a bit off: there is no direct and easy walking route to Ayala mall. You need to go around under a flyover to reach the mall. This can be pain if you are not used to the traffic, pollution, or if it is raining. There is a 7-11 1-2 min walk away. The traffic noise could still be heard even in the 8th floor rooms.

Pros: I love how they allowed us to check-in early. I'm traveling for business and so it was very convinient that the hotel has a "Business Center" where I was able to printout some documents that I need to use. The breakfast buffet was superb as well. They have a variety of choices. They staff was also helpful and cheerful. And the room was very cozy and relaxing. Overall, it was an excellent stay. I would love to stay here again.

I requested a quiet room because I was visiting in order to record my songs (just acoustic guitar and voice) away from the constant noises of my home environment -- so they gave me a room on the top (16th) floor on the mountain-view side of the hotel (away from street noise). I originally booked just one night but ended up extending my stay twice (for a total of three nights). I've stayed at this hotel many times (well over a dozen bookings). It's my favorite Cebu hotel. The staff are all truly exceptional: professional and friendly. They usually have spacious rooms available between approximately $40 and $50 (P2000 and P2500) per night. Highly recommended!
Cons: Shower temperature not stable. Constantly needed to adjust it. Vacillates between too hot and too cold. Also: the two shower heads are mounted too low for me. I'm taller (6'2") than they are mounted. However, one of them can be hand-held. This was not a deal-breaker for me: just a minor inconvenience.

Pros: This hotel is all you need for your stay in Cebu ; it’s close to the main 2 malls SM and Ayala it’s also close to the airport - walk straight from the hotel across the street and you’ll find some nice bars and restaurants for all budgets and then of course the hotel is very affordable (book through booking) Must also mention the staff is truly friendly - you’ll have assistance for grabbing a taxi and the morning breakfast is very nice at 350 p.

Cons: I just hope that if a child was included on the accommodation booking, they must be included on the free breakfast meal. One of The reason why I consider booking in this hotel was because of the free breakfast wherein if you go to any hotel in North America, everyone booked in the room could get their free breakfast meal. Also, when booking a room, everyone responded as quick as possible, but whenever it’s a complaint through email, no one ever responded to me. That is what makes me more disappointed. I just also hope that the elevator is clean and smells clean, and the bathroom is not that clean and towels are old.
