Pros: We didn't get to stay in the room much, because we were there to see Lyon, but it was just fantastic. Actually now that I think of it, it was the nicest part of the trip. Very helpful friendly staff, very clean and elegant hotel, great bathroom, very comfortable. We chose the breakfast option which was very good buffet with good options for all. I greatly recommend

Cons: The power switch in the room was creating constant buzzing noises that interfere with sleep all nights long. The ventilation system is quite loud as well, so instead we decided to keep the windows open overnight, though it created another issue with paassing trains. The hotel is near the railway station that you mast pass every time you go to the center and it is quite far from all sightseeing locations. It would be nice have more options for the breakfast, for example, fresh juice, scrambled eggs, sausages.

Cons: No air condition. It was too hot in the room. We ordered hotel with air condition and when we arrived they told us that at october ther's no air condition. The cleaning of the room was not so good. They left glasses with coffe ... if you want to use the kitchen you have to ask for a kie...

Cons: No where to sit and enjoy a drink. The bar was part of reception. Travelling alone, I like common space to enable conversation with other guest. The chair location in the room was a little tight. Big chair so couldn't move it far. I preferred to sit in the chair to view the TV rather than in bed.

Shame really as the hotel apart from being expensive was good.

Cons: We absolutely loved the hotel. The room was small but had all we needed for 1 night stay, and is Europe. We were in the center of everything we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful, so we would definitely come back and highly recommend it!!

Pros: This hotel is in the perfect location. My room was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Small room, but that's ok, i was traveling alone. Comfort and cleanliness is number one for me. It was my first time visiting Lyon, I would like to return as soon as possible. Loved it!

Pros: I have stayed already at ibis budget in another country in the past and based on that experience I had pretty low expectations, but this time I was very positively surprised...the room was modern, well equipped with everything, one could need, and super clean..one of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location : right at the train station, metro station , shopping centre and airport rhone express...the breakfast was also worth its price, stuff was welcoming and spoke good English :)

Pros: I have stayed already at ibis budget in another country in the past and based on that experience I had pretty low expectations, but this time I was very positively surprised...the room was modern, well equipped with everything, one could need, and super clean..one of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location : right at the train station, metro station , shopping centre and airport rhone express...the breakfast was also worth its price, stuff was welcoming and spoke good English :)

Pros: It is a standard Ibis hotel, with all the basic commodities for a reasonable price. The location is OK, close to the train station and to the Rhone Express airport tram. There is also a tram line to the city center nearby and a shopping mall. The lady at the reception was nice.

Pros: The room was a standard Ibis affair – small, clean, quiet, very functional. Breakfast was good, but very repetitive with every day serving the same thing. As is common with hotel breakfasts, the coffee and scrambled eggs were barely acceptable, but the rest was really good, especially the pastry, jams, fruit and cheeses. I had a hamburger for dinner once and was positively surprised how good it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were even able to gave me a really good (non-touristy) dinner suggestion. The location just across the street from the famous marketplace Les Halles de Paul Bocuse is very convenient as well. Lyon Part-Dieu (Lyon’s main train station) as well as the Lafayette shopping mall are very much within walking distance – in fact, Part-Dieu is at one end of the Lafayette, and this hotel is at the other. Oh, and there’s a (free to play) pinball machine in the foyer (The Rolling Stones, by Stern). Cool stuff :)

Pros: The price was good, location was excellent, being so close to Gare Part Dieu (the train station). The room was actually pretty spacious for a single and the bathroom was nice. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke English, which was helpful, since my French is still pretty weak (i'm working on it!). The buffet breakfast for 9.50 Euro wasn't bad either -coffee, juices, milk, cereals, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, fruits, mini-crepes, tortilla espanola,...I think i got by money's worth!

Cons: Although the location is good for many reasons, it is not exactly in the city center, so you may need to walk (15/20 min) or take public transportation to get there. The room was a bit small, as well as the bathroom (specially the shower), but the bed was quite large and comfortable.

Cons: Although the room was spacious there was very little furniture to put clothes away. there was some room to hang shirts and things up, but no drawers to put folded clothes. For the one night I was there it didn't matter because I did not want to unpack my things, but if I had been staying there for more than a couple of nights I would have been frustrated (and perhaps asked for a better room).
There was no refrigerator in the room, which I didn't necessarily expect, but I also spent a few days the week before at a similarly priced hotel a few blocks away in Part Dieu, and that room had a little minifridge, which was a nice surprise.
So, all I'm saying is, that for a few more Euros I maybe could have had a more comfortable experience elsewhere. But, I did save some money, so if you are on a short term trip and a small budget Ibis Lyon Part Dieu - Les Halles is actually a pretty good option, considering the low price - it just depends what 10-15 Euro/night saved is really worth to you.

Cons: What a disappointment! Our 2-bedroom unit was not remotely what the pictures had indicated. The place was completely run down. All the walls were scratched, in some places holes had been covered with some white paste. One bedroom(!) was made up of the walls, the bed, half a nightstand and then with no place left for a suitcase. The windows had lipstick smears from sometime before. Not working or broken: AC, chairs (broken and sticky), hairdryer, kitchen cabinet doors. The dishes were only somewhat clean. 2 of 5 blankets and 1 set of towels were missing. We eventually got the towels and blankets from the reception desk ourselves, as they had not been brought to the room after 24+ hours. We were promised a few times that the AC would be checked on, but nothing ever happened. The staff in general was not friendly. It appeared that guest were seen as a nuisance.

Cons: The hotel advertises air conditioning but it did not work efficiently. The staff attempted to fix it but it simply did not circulates or blow out cold air. We were moved to a different room but it made little difference. A fan was finally provided and helped a little but temperature was unbearable, Some staff at the front desk were not as helpful and sent us in th wrong direction several times. We ordered their pizza and after eating it one family member came down with food poisoning and had to be taken to the hospital when we reported the incident to the front desk they appeared indifferent .
