No lift... the stairs were a bit of a struggle since our room was on the top floor.
We woke up at 5am to find mice in our room. Hotel is old and needs a lick of paint, carpets to be cleaned and the fridge in the room was really loud during the night. Room was cheap for a reason. Our bathroom sink was made for hobbits.
The room was dirty, messy and was not what I had booked. The bathroom was dirty and the smell of urine. Room no. 8 from downstairs.
Room too hot when we arrived, no control on the radiator. Asked reception to turn heating off in the room. No joy , spent the first night with the window wide open and didn't sleep well with the noise from the street. ( the room was at the front of the building at street level. Eventually on the second night they managed to turn the heating off.
Breakfast was really really basic - cheese, ham and bread with some cereals but I guess you get what you pay for. Location was good and staff was very friendly and helpful. They reacted quickly for our calls and helped with some issues with our room.
Shower was cloaked the first day we got there. Luckily, the stuff handled it quickly. Also it was definitely too hot in the room, there was no ability to regulate the radiator on your own. We had to keep the balcony open all the time as it was impossible to manage without it.
