Pros: Staff were really helpful and polite, kitchen was very good and well equipped, common areas were good with a pool table and stuff to do for the kids. Breakfast was cereal or toast but that was fine for us

Pros: Location, food and the friendly hotel service. The lady gave us very detailed direction regarding where we go. Really like them.
Cons: Generally we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and recommend it to the other quests. But one thing made whole trip uncomfortable. The music show at the hotel ended till midnight and we could not fall in sleep until the end of it. Since we planned to leave early next morning, the lack of sleep made us very tired. Strongly suggest the hotel do something to prevent the high music sound from the dinning hall into the guestrooms.

Pros: Our absolute favorite B&B of all that we stayed at. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: - Fabulous breakfast!! Beautiful local smoked salmon, perfectly cooked french toast, Moroccan oranges .. Delicious! - Comfortable bed and room - Large clean bathroom with good toiletries - Friendly host - Cozy sitting rooms (gorgeous fireplaces) - Location (easy walk into town - Wild Honey Inn was yum!) - Beautiful landscaping Also, we arrived the night that the Covid 19 lockdown began. Despite this, Mary made us feel welcome and safe. Breakfast tables were set far apart and there was hand sanitiser available at the breakfast buffet.
Cons: - Room and/or bathroom need ventilation - Inaccessible / too few electrical plugs for charging, hair dryer, kettle etc - No rooms with bath available (listing mistakenly says bath or shower)

Their clients is what matters most to them. This place is a hidden gem. Fab food and the best baileys coffee's ever. Thank you and we will most definitely be back in 2020.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable and spacious, peaceful & relaxing, we really enjoyed our stay, we will be back again next year!
6,6 Good
Pros: The 'castle hotel' is actually a hotel with fake little medieval towers... Only they're blue and only cats could climb on them. Fittingly, the CCTV cameras are patrolling on those little turrets but the whole thing is kitsch. What a laugh we had when we arrived. Inside is comfy if a little impersonal, staff was OK.
Cons: Could hear the ventilation of the bathroom from the bedroom even door closed.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great staff. Old but very well kept hotel. Very good breakfast. Spacious parking. Location excellent
Cons: The toilet seat wasn't clean enough
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful Quirky Castle Hotel. The staff where very welcoming and super friendly at all times. Everyone from the cleaners, front desk, bar and restaurant staff where engaging and attentive. The hotel was super busy with two large buses coming in a couple of minutes apart but every staff member was happy and handled everyone very professionally. This was a credit to the managers who also took time to speak with us and everyone else staying. The rooms were gorgeous extra large rooms with large super comfy beds, fit for a king. Breakfast was fabulous. We would 100% recommend this wonderful Castle/Hotel.
Cons: Very Happy with no complaints.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything else about the hotel was perfect, staff couldn't have been nicer.
Cons: Taxi was over half an hour late so didn't get out until nearly 11pm. This was not hotels fault but there was no taxis for guests the following day at 12 noon which I thought very strange, just aswell I could drive. No evening food in the hotel so was glad I'd eaten before I arrived.
5,3 Okay
Pros: Sightseeing. Listening to traditional Irish music in Lisdoonvarna. Eating out at other venuesThe hotel bedroom was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate.
Cons: No exterior lighting when we returned late at night Not properly signposted Hotel seemed mostly empty and 'dead'. Used to selecting own cereals fruit and yogurt for breakfas even in B and Bs . I think 3 cereals offered no fruit no yogurt..
7,3 Good
Pros: great hospitality..and friendliness
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: Not alot really, had been on a tour of Ireland and the Burren Castle ended up being the most expensive hotel that we stayed in and was certainly not value for money, very dated, it smelled and reminded us of Fawlty Towers. We even contemplated leaving straight away.
Cons: Very dated, not worth the price paid, too far from the town.
7,7 Good
Pros: very unassuming staff and hotel. Was left to my own devices. Breakfast staff were very attentive. Great value for money.
7,3 Good
Pros: Peace and privacy, good service from staff.

Pros: I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go there again.
Cons:
7,0 Good
Pros: I loved the colouring of the room. It gave it a less standard hotel room feel. I also loved the breakfast. The salmon option is not offered everywhere
Cons: Maybe it is hard to clean the rooms properly because there is so much stuff in there? The room was a bit chilly and I did not know how to turn up the heating. There was no one downstairs when I wanted to ask and there was no bell or anything like it.
7,0 Good
Pros: The room was beautifully prepared with a lot of extra touches that made the stay much more pleasurable.
Cons: It is a bit far from the town centre but there are plenty of taxis available.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was a last minute choice at a very reasonable price, located conveniently close to town
Cons: The house smelled of fat frying, the bed was very uncomfortable and the heating in the bedroom and bathroom went off at 10pm and did not even come on again next morning - quite cold and unwelcoming.
6,6 Good
Pros: Clean, up-to-date facilities in nicely decorated rooms.
Cons:

9,2 Excellent
Pros: There is plenty of parking in the accommodation for guests. It is just a short bit out of the centre of town. The lady at check-in greeted us was very friendly. She showed us to our room very quickly and told us to contact her if we needed anything. We were pleasantly surprised with this last minute booking. The whole place is spotlessly clean and very homely and quite near to all the places that we wanted to visit. It's a stone's throw from most of the sites in west County Clare. Our room was a good size and had all the things to make our stay comfy - tv, wifi, comfy bed, etc.. Each room has it's own wifi connector which was great. There was a light mini-;breakfast; supplied in the room too (bigger than most on the continent!!), which was perfect for us, just to get us going first thing in the morning. There are plenty of electrics supplied to keep you warm at night should you want. The shower was wonderful, with great power, and plenty of hot water. As with most Irish accommodation, it's great to have tea-making facilities in the room, when you just want to relax in your room after a heavy day touring. The bed was very comfy and the room seems well insulated. Despite being on a busy crossroads, it wasn't too loud at all. Check-out was very easy.
Cons: Only two small observations. The accommodation sign could be lit up. We arrived after dark, so we passed the accommodation as the sign is not lit up at night, and our phones were dead, so we couldn't get the gps of the accommodation. We also got a bit lost when we went out to a local pub and returned back later on that night. But nothing too bad. It's a small area to get 'lost' in. We also needed a hot bath after getting stuck in the cold rain earlier on in the day. The taps were taken off the bath, so we had to fill the bath with the shower-head. It didn't bother us much. We still got our bath.

Pros: The location was perfect to spend an evening near Cliffs of Moher while driving on Wild Atlantic Way. Very easy to find with GPS coordinates or google maps. Free parking on site. Very cozy reception with lovely lady there, probably the owner of the hotel. No lift, but comfortable stairs. Room was big enough, bed very comfortable. TV, kettle, coffee and tea, milk, sugar, buiscuits and bottles of water on the table in the room. Good Wi-Fi. Hair dryer. Bathroom with window to street, not a shower cabin, but shower in the bath. Soap, shower gel, shampoo provided. Breakfast served from the meniu. And a variety to chose from cold options. A little noice coming from the street, but I liked some live music from the hotel infront before I went asleep.

Frank and his wife were friendly and helpful.

Pros: We were at Moloney house after visiting the Cliffs. Just 10 minutes drive away was a perfect place to wind down for the evening. We followed Marie Ellen’s recommendation and went to O'Connor’s and it was good fun! Live music was good and we had a good time.

Pros: Location, location, and the sense of humor of the male owner as he attempted to move cows from one field to another.

Pros: We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Doolin. There are many food options on site and the hotel is walking distance to all the music pubs. The breakfast was phenomenal. I still dream about the smoked salmon eggs benedict.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like save the music schedule was not correct. We expected a traditional session on Sunday night in the evening; however, it was some bluegrass duo. Which is not bad, just unexpected.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Room decor beautiful. Staff friendly. Breakfast super. Food in restaurant superb. Loved the whole ambience.
Cons: Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Will def be returning.

Pros: Oh it was on for longer than in most hotels so you didn't help rushed to get up and make it in time
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Had a less than ideal stay at a hotel in Belfast the night before and gave it a bad rating. Here's what I wrote at the end of that review: "The next night I stayed at the hotel Doolin near Galway. Walked to my room, given a newspaper, asked if I needed a wake up call, given a free drink at the bar, breakfast included, plenty of parking, a beautiful clean modern lobby and a wonderful bed, all for less money. The contrast was remarkable..." Absolute pleasure to stay at Doolin.
Cons: Nothing. Fantastic place.
7,4 Good
Pros: There are several B&B nearby, but this offers a nice alternative. Connected to a restaurant and pub and with a nice lobby area, good alternative if the weather isn't good. Not quite walking distance to other pubs, but a very short drive on a very quite road, these are still good options.

The view across to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay is wonderful and in the summer evenings the sunset over the Aran Islands is a beautiful sight. The lounges also offer beautiful views of the islands and cliffs. You can enjoy a buffet breakfast, a cooked Irish breakfast or a lighter option, including scrambled egg and Burren smoked salmon. French Toast and pancakes are served, and you can also enjoy freshly baked scones with tea in the morning and throughout the day. Reservations at local restaurants can be made at reception.
