Cons: Front desk staff very rude when told about old blood stains on bedsheet, and phone in the room not working to make a call to the front desk to rearrange shuttle time (due to delayed flight out). Is there anything else you'd like to moan about?
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds are always comfortable and I've never had a problem with noise. Premier Inn breakfasts are also very reliable. When requested upon arrival, an iron and ironing board were taken straight to my room, despite it being past midnight (my plane was delayed). Impressive customer service throughout my stay.
Cons: No problems.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were so impressed with the overall experience of our first 4 night stay that we decided to stay a further 12 more nights a month later and cancelled our original accommodation with another already booked hotel. All our needs were met with secure parking to exceptional staff who could not have done more for us in making our holiday any more enjoyable. The atmosphere is that of a large family with all the staff working as one. The chef known as Speedy prepared delicious meals for breakfast and the evening dining was also of high quality. We were warmly treated by all the staff with special mention of Connor, Grace, Rose, Giovanna plus the house keeping staff Cezar and Juliana who kept our room spotless. Although we live in Australia we are planning to return to the UK next year and will definitely use The Premier Inn Gatwick Manor Royal as our home base. Many thanks from David and Dawn Elsworthy

We had an early flight the next morning and when we left at 6 there was nobody to report anything to at the desk so I passed the key to a man told him the room needed sorting and left

7,5 Good
Pros: Contact from the owner was good. I was offered a collection, at cost, from the airport but didn’t need it. It was easy to find and close enough to the airport. It was warm and clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: A little tired.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The house of an old era
Cons: Too many decorative pillows in room No where to put them
5,4 Okay
Pros: When we arrive at the hotel, they charge us an additional price for the breakfast and also for kids. And That’s wasn’t clearly explain on the site we i did the reservation. I’m very disappointed ☹️ But it’s was clean and comfortable
Cons: Réception very ordinary
7,1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: The heating system and the shower, which took ages to warm up.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to Gatwick airport. The owners/staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no lift and we had a lot of luggage so right away they changed our room without us having to ask and gave us one on the ground floor. The breakfast was extra but worth it as the rooms are very reasonably priced. A lovely English breakfast. They also have continental. A shuttle to the airport was very handy. 8 pounds I think.
Cons: For us the beds were very hard. Some people like that but for us it was too hard. Our room 104 was a connecting room and we could hear the tv and man snoring.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Confortable sleep
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful prestay communication which gave us confidence before we arrived. All arrangements worked well. Highly recommended.
Cons: Exterior lights from neighbouring property - on all night and gave impression of daylight around the curtains
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service and comfortable rooms
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, close to airport, reasonable rate for pickup and drop off. Comfortable and charming stay.
Cons: Being it's an original style house the only way to the room was up two flights of narrow stairs. It's part of the charm and not a huge issue, but also something of which to be aware. Smoke detectors are VERY sensitive - I created a bit of steam from the kettle and it set off the alarm. My fault, really, but I learned to keep a window open when showing or boiling water! Again, neither of these is a "don't like", just a "be advised"

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous welcome. Great breakfast. V friendly, helpful owner.
4,0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
7,9 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff and clean and nice room.
Cons: The walls were not thick so you can hear when other guests arrive as well as the sounds from the street and the airport noises. The room was basic with Tesco soaps.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a fantastic place to stay. The owners were very professional with their communication right from the start. The guest house was beautiful, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was perfect. Thank you, both of you!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a more relaxing place to stay than some of the big chain hotels usually found around the airports.
Cons: Nothing to dislike really. To be super critical it was on quite a noisy road but we are not used to any noise so just a personal thing really.

Pros: Our room was clean and cozy. The food in the pub was excellent. Great beer and pizza, and steak!!! The delicious breakfast was included with the room. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are inspired to come back again and explore more of England. This was a layover from Spain heading back to Canada. One night at The Curious Pig In The Parlour has given us some very fond memories. We tell our friends of our stay there. We know some day we will return.
Cons: I have no dislkes to report. We loved it!

Cons: All good
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, most things about the hotel were positive.
Cons: Arrived after long stressful journey, feeling tired and grubby. When we went into the room (room 202)it was freezing cold, and the room heater wasn’t working. Went for a shower at 6pm, and the water was cold (literally cold tap cold ). We had arranged to meet friends in Reigate at 7pm so had to skip the shower. When we went out we told reception, and were told to run the hot tap for fifteen minutes until it became warm. They said they would send a portable heater to the room. Tried the shower again without success on our return. In the morning the water was warm enough to shower, but in the evening it was cold again. Running the tap for fifteen minutes provided a tepid but tolerable shower. Hardly a green solution though, and I shudder to think what the water bills will be if all the second floor rooms are affected. Would have been horrible had we come off a long haul flight. Considering the appearance of the hotel, which looked to have had a lot of money spent on it, the water situation was baffling and disappointing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Every thing. The bed was big and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the breakfast was good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms clean and comfortable, fantastic shower!
Cons: Renovation a bit too modern for such an old house, too much gloss white paint over original features. My room was hard to find.

Cons: Restuarant s in the hotel were expensive
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location in a walking distance from the airport
Cons: Breakfast was not included. For a price like that I would expect breakfast to be included, otherwise it's a hidden fee In my case reception offered me to prepay breakfast, in the morning it turned out it was not paid for
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. I like the toiletries provided. Breakfast was good too...a really wide variety of options. The hot chocolate for breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Minor details but at breakfast what was labelled as fig compote was actually prunes, the smell of jet fuel was probably unavoidable, but was a bit queasy making, and it would have been nice if the direct access tunnel had been open. Very minor issues, I will stay again.

Cons: On arrival in our room we thought the bathroom door was locked somehow, but it transpired that it was just stuck - maybe hadn't been used for some time.
7,1 Good
Pros: Convenience for Gatwick airport was the big winner here.
Cons: The room was dated and expensive for how basic it was. There were no plugs by the bed.
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great massages, hydrotherapy pool.
Cons: Lots of people
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We used the hotel for a spa weekend break and it filled the expectations nicely. The outdoor pool in the spa was a nice feature and the spa itself nice and not too busy. We booked a double attic room, so didn't expect any views (and there weren't) but the room was reasonably sized and bed comfy. Dinner in the restaurant was great. We didn't think ahead enough to pre-book the afternoon tea so getting that was a bit of a hassle but when we finally got it, it was good as well.
Cons: It's certainly not a budget place to stay in and when we had a problem with water tap in the bathroom, we had to switch rooms. The staff handled it nicely though, but the replacement room wasn't quite perfect (the rooms on the spa side are far more generic, the window frame in ours also had a small gap letting some "extra air" in) - but it was the last one available and still adequate.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and staff are very accommodating and polite, will return
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Gatwick. Professional staff.
Cons: No air conditioning in the room. Shower in bathtub with 5 ft to ceiling (I am 6ft tall). No shower cubicle.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every member of staff was more than happy to help. Got a free upgrade from the base level room we could afford. Great setting..fab attention to detail..and the food at the AG’s restaurant- was as good as it gets. Likewise - the breakfast
Cons: There was nothing we could fault..For once - this hotel lived up to its five star status.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The spa was really lovely! Beds very comfy overall the room and bathroom were great Most of the staff were very nice and helpful Dinner in the evening was excellent.
Cons: The afternoon tea! I told the waiter I did not eat fish, he said he would bring me two extra finger sandwiches to replace the salmon. They never arrived! We had a glass of champagne to start and asked that our Tea to be brought later with the scones, it was brought immediately! I sent it back! Overall the waiter wasn’t very attentive and kept forgetting things. The afternoon tea was quite expensive and I have had better in many other hotels .

Cons: I thought we had booked a hotel room rather than a berth. There was literally room for the bed and a side table and no room to move about. My husband actually had to crawl over me to get up to go to the toilet at night. I wouldn''t have booked hd I known.

Pros: beautifully modern. clean and minimalistic
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location beside departure gates. Blissfully quiet despite its position beside runway. Bed very comfortable.
Cons: The wet room bathroom
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location, convenience, 24 hour desk.
Cons: I made a mistake and showed up one day late. They charged me full price for the night I missed and gave me no break on paying for a new room. Even charged me a higher rate as it was 10 minutes after midnight. We paid over 20% more than our friends for the same type of room the same night. The bathroom is also the shower so two can't be in there if one is showering and one wants to brush their teeth,...

Pros: Steps to the gate at the airport. Easy if either in the north or south terminal
Cons: If travelling with a number of bags the room would have been too tight.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very responsive to our concerns.
Cons: The room was absolutely tiny, there was no hot water in the first room we tried, the soap was extremely pungent, the shower sprays the entire bathroom so you have to use a towel to dry everything after every shower, the heating/ac is poor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, comfortable, and more than I was expecting. A great night's rest with very little effort on my part.

Pros: Great location, comfortable beds & pillows, range of toiletries provided & plenty available (in dispensers), good choice of food at breakfast, including gluten free and non-dairy milk options, quick and easy check in & check out.
Cons: The tomatoes in the hot food weren't cooked at all - and I then saw staff add more completely raw ones to "warm" in the "hot" food display.

5,0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable, and very close to the north terminal.
Cons: Staff were very unhelpful when we arrived. No staff when we left in the morning. Common areas were not inviting, small and scruffy looking. The lobby, such as it is, is used as a thoroughfare for airport workers walking from the carpark to the terminal. Hard to find where breakfast was being served - owing to no staff anywhere to be found.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, walk to north terminal short and all inside. Close to all airline check-ins.

Pros: Handy location and a very fast check-in. Silent room.

Pros: Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and professional, and my room was magniificently decorated. The bathtub was even big enough for me, and at 6'3 that's rare to find. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel grounds are gorgeous and well kept. I hope to have a chance to stay again someday for more than a one night visit.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and very handy for Gatwick. Really beautiful building and surroundings. The food was nice however quite pricey for the type of food it was.
Cons: The food could have been better. Other than that I was pleased with the experience.
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: If you stay for the airport, don’t waste your money in this hotel. Airport hotels are much better. The room was smelling bad and there is any service. Even breakfast ends at 9 am and staff is not helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Booked this for convenience as picking family up from Gatwick and didn’t fancy a very early start. Wow what a lovely surprise, but more expensive than I would have liked but well worth it for the service and accommodation n
4,2 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old hotel, stayed in a room in the main house so leaded windows looking out over manicured gardens. Staff very helpful and efficient, room was very cosy and welcoming. Food was good if a little bit on the expensive side however probably due more to the postcode than anything else. A place to spoil your better half with a couple of nights of olde worlde charm. Stayed on a lovely late summer's evening so went for a short stroll back towards the main road and found a lovely old pub with a great beer garden so made the most of it, sat on a bench with a pint of their finest in one hand and the mobile in the other hand telling the better half just what she was missing - thankfully I'm a bit deaf in that ear!
Cons: Location - which you can't do much about. I missed it on the first pass and had to go round again as it sits, tucked away in beautiful grounds just off a single track private road servicing a number of large houses so as one drives down the track it feels like one will end up looking down the barrel of an "over and under" Purdey with a finger pointing at the "Private Property" and plummy voice saying " Can't you read?". Then you see the sign and turn in to the car park of said beautiful old hotel.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Booked the cosy room! Wow, 4 poster bed lovely big bathroom, all for a great price. Got there late in the evening so couldn’t sample what else the hotel had to offer which was a pity. Lovely place to stay, ideal for the airport (4 miles)with no parking fees unlike many other hotels nearby Would definitely return
Cons: Bit difficult to find at first, post code drops you about half a mile from the place but having phoned them they guided us in!!

Pros: Excellent location and great guest house. Special bonus, the owner kindly drove me back to the airport to catch my flight the next morning. Highly recommended for those who fly to and from Gatwick.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Close to the best kebab l have ever had.
Cons: The room was small and dated it reminded me of the programme porridge where l was couped up in a small room. I work away from home every week and can get better accommodation for similar money with breakfast included. Gatwick seems to be very expressive due to the airport being so close in future would of been better staying out of the London circular. Paul Wilkinson
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, comfy bed. Gave me number of taxi from airport (£4.00 cheaper than airport taxi). Easy walk into town for a meal. Taxi pickup to airport in the cost of the room. Very pleasant stay, would do again.

7,1 Good
Pros: Central location and staff friendly
Cons: Shower wasn’t the best pressure however it didn’t spoil my stay.
Overview Reviews
This family-friendly airport hotel is ideal for business or leisure travellers and comprises comfortable rooms and it's own restaurant. The complete breakfast includes hot dishes and various continental products. It's situated at 3 Km from the airport of Gatwick.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: A very good experience, very friendly staff and a nice clean comfortable room
Cons: Everything was good
7,1 Good
Pros: Bunnies hopping around in the courtyard! Staff were friendly and professional. Wide variety of foods available in Continental breakfast (you pay extra for the full English breakfast). It's a safe, relatively inexpensive, overnight stay for someone catching a plane the next morning.
Cons: There was a "poopy" odor emanating from the bathroom. It did not subside during our stay. The television remote did not work. "Operator Error" on my part, but I thought I was booking the Premier Inn that's right next to the airport; it turns out "S. Gatwick" refers to location, not adjacency to South Terminal. Not a big deal, but there is a Premier Inn closer to the airport if that's what you're looking for. It was a 13 pound taxi ride to the airport (the hotel also offers shuttle service).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff and although there was no restraint, the Gatwick Manor restaurant was but 30 seconds away. Competitive rates.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfy, just wish we could have slept longer. Breakfast wad great.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Everything was great!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect for my stay from the food to the spaciousness and comfort of the room to the friendly cooperation of the staff. It was nice to have a shopping area within walking distance that included supermarkets. The bus stop going to the airport was on the premises and stopped every half hour costing £4.
Cons: A wake up service would have been nice since many staying there have flight connections to meet There is an alarm setting on the TV remote but I didn't know how to use it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, perfect location next to the airportt
9,0 Excellent
Pros: reasonable price, good location
Cons: we were concerned about an 'elephant' in the room above us but it turned out it didn't affect our sleep at all - the soundproofing may be somewhat lacking for some heavy walkers!
