9,6 Excellent
Pros: An excellent location for Gatwick Airport. The place was stunningly decorated.... A shame that we could not enjoy the facilities..... As I forgot my driving licence ( we had hire car booked at our destination) and had to drive back to retrieve it..... A hotel which we would be very happy to book again.....

Pros: Super comfort with very good cooked breakfast. Very clean and bright premises. The owners are very personable and helpful.Their transfer service to and from Gatwick Airport is excellent. We arrived by Train in Gatwick with a last minute change of plans to go to London for the evening with family. They met us to pick up our luggage and bring it to the B&B and returned to pick us up from Gatwick later in evening. Highly recommend Trumbles Gatwick B&B.
Cons: Met all our needs wonderfully.

Villa Verde Gatwick - Horley - Building

A stay at Villa Verde Gatwick places you in the heart of Horley, a 4-minute drive from Manor Royal Business Park and 5 minutes from Gatwick Aviation Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome, very well maintained and the location is great if you are flying from Gatwick. 5minute drive. Reasonably priced too. Very quiet in the property even though you are so close to the airport. Second time we’ve stayed pre-flight and we wouldn’t look anywhere else in the area. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing not to like
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very calm, careful staff, good shower, comfy beds with not too soft mattress, self check-in and check-out service, 6 pounds taxi service to the airport
Cons: I was worried about that I could check-in only before 9:30pm.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a perfect little stop if you need to overnight before or after arriving at Gatwick. One tip I will mention is to NOT take an Uber from the airport. They will charge you triple what a taxi will charge. The owners are very nice here and very accommodating. They stored our luggage while we took the train into London the morning before we flew out. The rooms are spotless and warm, plus the water is hot! Also this is an ideal location! You can walk a couple minutes to many restaurants and the train station is only 5 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, close to the airport, room is nice, breakfast is nice, can't be better!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property is located close to all amenities in a lovely area. It is nicely decorated and clean. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a very quiet, pleasant stay. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenient for passengers transiting through Gatwick Airport. The advice Villa Verde provides about taxis to and from the airport is accurate, the pick up - drop off point is easy to find and the £6 taxi trip is very reasonable. The staff on reception are friendly, efficient and full of information about local restaurants, pubs, shopping locations, etc. The rooms are clean and cosy. The continental breakfast is great value and the breakfast room is pleasant and sunny! I much prefer such a small, intimate and personal hotel than a large, impersonal chain-hotel experience.
Cons: Just be careful that you have cash to pay for the taxi if you book one from the hotel back to the airport...some of the taxi drivers do not have credit card facilities and I had to spend 15 minutes in a taxi, driving around trying to find an ATM. As I do not have a GBP account, the withdrawal of £10 cost me £3.99! This is not the hotel's responsibility but it's worth being prepared by carrying some cash.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was accommodating regarding late check-in. Bottle of (tap) water provided in room. Lovely building. Great breakfast. Felt and looked clean. Luggage rack in room. I would stay here again when arriving late or leaving early from Gatwick.
Cons: Shower didn’t drain well (room 14).

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very enjoyable stay, will certainly be returning
4,0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best BnBs next to Gatwick airport, much better than the hotels right next to the airport itself. Will definately stay at this BnB next time we have an early or late flight. Very well done restoration of an old house, very clean, cosy inside. Such a nice touch with the little cupboard filled with ice, glasses, and items for having a drink in the evening. Location is excellent as it is only a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants of horley and only about a 20 minute walk to Gatwick airport only the footpath parallel to the highway. Breakfast room is very nice and cosy and bright with big windows. The breakfast is nice although we could have enjoyed some eggs cooked for us.
Cons: The room was very cold at night and the heating doesn't properly heat the room. Would be nice to have more blankets in the rooms and a little portable heater for winter. Eggs at breakfast would be nice in addition to the cold items. Although the coffee was excellent with french pressed coffee served.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms stunningly stylish & immaculately clean, fresh breakfast was amazing!
Cons: We loved everything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and I stayed. Lovely place!

Pros: Fifth stay here, always prior to a Gatwick flight. The parlour room is excellent with great atmosphere. Food very good. yet again - although gone a little bit more towards presentation than quantity. Easy early check out.
6,3 Good
Pros: The pub looks very nice
Cons: We booked 2 room for the same night, 2 couple. One couple would arrive much later then the other. In order to facilitate the late checking we requested if the first couple could do the checkin for us. No need, staff will wait. We arrived slightly later than expected due to delayed flight and staff left. We had to find the keys of our room by exploring the reception desk, after having found an opened door by chance.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: the character of the rooms - it is our third time of staying at this property and have two more visits booked. we find it central for us when we are visiting friends in the area.
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. Evening meal was good value with a good choice. Water and coffee in our room.
Cons: The bathroom was a little tired. The shower door seal was worn so the water poured down the wooden edge of the bath It looked a bit of a mess. Had to kneel on the floor to use the mirror when drying my hair.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was clean and cozy. The food in the pub was excellent. Great beer and pizza, and steak!!! The delicious breakfast was included with the room. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are inspired to come back again and explore more of England. This was a layover from Spain heading back to Canada. One night at The Curious Pig In The Parlour has given us some very fond memories. We tell our friends of our stay there. We know some day we will return.
Cons: I have no dislkes to report. We loved it!

Pros: Good service in the restaurant and nice breakfast
Cons: Monorail can be heard through the windows
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location in a walking distance from the airport
Cons: Breakfast was not included. For a price like that I would expect breakfast to be included, otherwise it's a hidden fee In my case reception offered me to prepay breakfast, in the morning it turned out it was not paid for
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. I like the toiletries provided. Breakfast was good too...a really wide variety of options. The hot chocolate for breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Minor details but at breakfast what was labelled as fig compote was actually prunes, the smell of jet fuel was probably unavoidable, but was a bit queasy making, and it would have been nice if the direct access tunnel had been open. Very minor issues, I will stay again.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location to airport, room very clean. No complaints
4,0 Okay
Cons: Beware! If you are a solo traveller, you will probably be housed across the road in a room that is so small, you can't get your case through the door beside the bed. The only place to put it is on the bathroom floor, which makes it rather challenging to access the bathroom. I recommend you check that you are actually getting a room in the hotel, not in the annex across the road. I got drenched by passing traffic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect, the room was lovely and clean, I felt very comfortable both sleeping and showering. They really helped us at the airport and they gave us a warm welcome which is not easy at that time in the night considering we were late. The breakfast is excellent, the perfect full English. Pros: Couldn’t fault the location of the hotel, couldn’t get any closer to check in.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: This has everything you expect from an overnight airport hotel for an early morning departure and the location was perfect.
Cons: I booked an easy access room by mistake. I wrote to the hotel immediately to say that I did not need a wheelchair facilitated room and to change my booking but they ignored this communication, so I hope no-one else was inconvenienced. The hotel was a little difficult to find.

Pros: Quality hotel with great personal staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and professional, and my room was magniificently decorated. The bathtub was even big enough for me, and at 6'3 that's rare to find. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel grounds are gorgeous and well kept. I hope to have a chance to stay again someday for more than a one night visit.

Pros: Beautiful room & bathroom, easy to get to from the airport (directly on bus routes), direct access to train to London or Brighton.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location to Gatwick Airport & access to Shuttle Bus
Cons: Room too cold
5,4 Okay
Pros: Easy to get to on the train
Cons: Shuttle service wasn’t available in the evening, the staff weren’t friendly or helpful on the phone or at the desk on arrival.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Always clean Exelent food although expensive. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Cons: Beds are to small for 2 people
8,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very large hotel, which is super convenient for Gatwick Airport. The scale of the hotel means they can offer 24hr room service, access to fitness suite and also its own entrance direct from Crawley Railway Station platform!!
Cons: Whilst you were able to have a drink from the bar past 11pm you were unable to pay with cash or card and therefore had to have pre-authorised a payment on your card for your room. This in principle is not too bad, but to then add on a room service surcharge of 12+% is disappointing and taking advantage of the weary late arrival traveller - especially when the member of staff is present on the bar anyway and you are standing at the bar to receive the drink you order not asking them to bring it to your room. An unfair way to charge even more to already expensive drinks.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employee (at the front desk) was very helpful and got us roll away bed. Staff was very friendly. Buffet was good and reasonably priced at $15.
Cons: Daily Mail was available at the buffet (really), who is the -voting nutjob manager that agreed to this?
7,5 Good
Pros: It was nothing special and a comfortable enough room for the night, but nothing more.
Cons: Reception didn’t mention that an airport transfer was available and for our second visit here, the trains between Gatwick and Crawley weren’t running! How can a country and its rail services be run so badly!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location lovely bed
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location from the tracks at Crawley Station! Easy to walk around town to shops and restaurants! This was our second stay here because of the convenience of a reasonable cost transportation to the airport.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The marble bathroom
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to find, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: The food was nice but a little on the expensive side. Also, I think car parking should be free for guests.
7,1 Good
Pros: Bunnies hopping around in the courtyard! Staff were friendly and professional. Wide variety of foods available in Continental breakfast (you pay extra for the full English breakfast). It's a safe, relatively inexpensive, overnight stay for someone catching a plane the next morning.
Cons: There was a "poopy" odor emanating from the bathroom. It did not subside during our stay. The television remote did not work. "Operator Error" on my part, but I thought I was booking the Premier Inn that's right next to the airport; it turns out "S. Gatwick" refers to location, not adjacency to South Terminal. Not a big deal, but there is a Premier Inn closer to the airport if that's what you're looking for. It was a 13 pound taxi ride to the airport (the hotel also offers shuttle service).

Cons: Can't say--all good.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is very good for access to Gatwick airport, very convenient. It’s a very no nonsense type of place, efficient staff, clean comfortable room. I have used it numerous times in the past and currently use it regularly for both business and leisure flights from Gatwick. The hotel has just recently undergone a refurbishment, modernising many of its rooms.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: comfort
Cons: Nothing ..my policy is you get what you pay for
4,0 Okay
Pros: Availability to get to Gatwick Airport
Cons: Cost of parking my car even though you are a paying guest of the hotel, we have used the holiday inn hotel group on our every visit to the UK and i have never been required to pay. Only 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel and 1 face cloth in the bathroom for 2.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Better tham expected. Clean room, looked like recently refurbished. Hotel functional for airport overnight. Staff doing its job. Friendly hotel employees at breakfast and night shift lady at the reception.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was really bad. Bought another one in Bar and it was the same. Way off from Starbucks.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good Facilities and cleanliness. Helpful staff.
Cons: Charging £20 for 24 hours parking might be over the top.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and staff was great
4,0 Okay
Pros: Free shuttle from airport is best feature. Had to pay extra with reservation to get breakfast included. No other amenities included in description for extra 20 UK pounds/dollars/whatever.
Cons: Got room online for teen son stranded at Gatwick. Unable to phone hotel blocked no. Charges apply? Front desk refused to print/fax emergency form for him, office is closed 5 pm?! No customer service. Travel agent had to intervene from USA, unbelieva
7,0 Good
Pros: Overall just nice. Each way of the shuttle bus cost 4pounds and it took about 15minutes to reach Gatwick Airport.
Cons: The Wi-Fi is not working during my stay. Nothing was informed in advance until I call to reception.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern room.
Cons: Tried calling front desk once to get another towel and later for a wake up call. They never answered the phone.
5,0 Okay
Cons: It said there was shuttle service, however it wasn't free £3 pp each way. Taxi might be cheaper than the shuttle for two or more people from North terminal. It stops at two other hotels before the Holiday Inn. I'll stay closer/on terminal next time.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employees were particularly helpful. We needed to receive some packages, and store some luggage: they helped everything go smoothly! Thanks again!
