Pros: Superb food served in restaurant by very friendly helpful staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every single thing - we've stayed here many times in the past and once again it lived up to our expectations. The hosts Ian and Helen are extremely welcoming ( Ian does wonders with Black Pudding in his dishes if you're a fan, including a piece the size of a house brick on your breakfast!! ), and they've got a fantastic set of staff members backing them up. The food is amazing, the setting is as good as any village in the Yorkshire Dales, and the pub is quintessentially everything that you'd expect from a village inn - absolutely brilliant.
Cons: Coming home!!

Pros: Without a doubt the best thing about the Queens Head is the food. The breakfast is excellent and freshly cooked. This is the second time we have stayed there and we had an evening meal on both occasions, which was very tasty, not expensive, and the quantities were generous.
Cons: Nothing to complain about, this is a really nice play to stay, rooms are large, bed/pillows very comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful and it is in a lovely village with beautiful views over the valley and almost forgot to say - dogs are welcome!

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful, the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly, the food was fantastic and the accommodation was spacious and well designed etc
Cons: The only bad point was that the internet site we booked on said that the address was in Leyburn when in fact it was 5 miles away in the village of Finghall. I know the address is officially Leyburn but a mention of the village address would have been useful as it meant we had to slightly change our evening plans.
