6,0 Good
Pros: The grounds, the breakfast and the kids’ pool.
Cons: Service is not great. We booked this hotel on the basis of its child friendly facilities and specifically called to check the kids pool would be open only to be told on arrival that it was in fact closed! After complaining to the manager we were told that they would “re-open” the pool for us as a favour but on arrival it was apparent it had been open all along!?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel offered amazing service and all the staff were happy to help. The grounds are beautiful as is the hotel. We loved our stay
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything - just wish we could have used the main restaurant
Cons: main restaurant

Pros: everything about this place is a joy
Cons: restaurants can get crowded
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great - Staff, room, hotel, food etc
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The surroundings and the grounds. The glass house restaurant reminded us of Dubai and Jemeriah beach world restaurant
Cons: Bed was not as comfortable as it should have been for a hotel off this quality
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The Grove is set in beautiful ground it’s very clean and offers a wide range of facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great Various restaurants for full or light dining Excellent food.
Cons: It’s all very well to install expensive trendy art works in the public areas but it’s the room that is really important and I felt that it was not so different to some of the Mercure or other hotel rooms. The bath was a challenge to get in or out of and the toilet roll kept falling on floor. Some may say minor issues but the price paid means expectations are high. Though breakfast was lovely when it came to hot drinks order we had to remind the staff several times. Not convinced that it’s one of the best hotels out there. But give it a try your experience may differ from mine.

8,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff went OUT OF THER WAY to be accommodating, helpful, friendly and generally go "above and beyond" to provide outstanding customer service. Deputy Manager Rob was wonderful as was Ellie and the rest of the staff!!!!!! I also would like to compliment the wait-staff at the breakfasts--they were AMAZING--couldn't do enough for us...every morning and every day of our stay. Jury's Inn is to be commended on their staff training and customer service policy!!!
Cons: The room assigned to us left a lot to be desired. The room we PAID for an upgrade for, was much, much better.
9,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here are so very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Liked it all!
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing have been over charged and 5 days later still can't get my money back
Cons: Have called the hotel 4 times with no joy to what happened why they took an extra £106.50 from my account and yet not once has a manager got back to me even though I have asked 3 times for a call back sent an email still nothing absolute joke wish I stayed elsewhere
5,8 Okay
Pros: A large room and a fairly comfortable bed, in a fairly modern hotel.
Cons: There was a constant sound of running water until well into the early hours of the morning, as well as the guest next door vomitting numerous times, giving a great background to my restless sleep.

Pros: location
Cons: not a good bed
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, very good staff, 5 mins taxi fare away from airport terminal. Fantastic price at 49.95 stg when we stayed mid January.
Cons: Heating could have been better in our room even though we tried to turn it up but nothing really happened .
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location especially if you need to catch an early morning flight - only 10 min walk to the airport. Our flight was at 7.00am and we could still enjoy breakfast at the hotel which is available from 4.00am.
Cons: The only minus I can think of is the hair dryer that was not included in the room facilities. I believe you would be able to get one at the reception.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast wasnt so good... the location was great. right next to the terminal. we came on foot and it took 5 min walk .
Cons: only the breakfast wasnt so good.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very close walk to the airport. Breakfast in the morning was good.
Cons: We did not know that you had to put keycard into the wall to power up the room. We were tired and laughed it off though.
6,5 Good
Pros: Advantages: +very good location +nice facilities +relatively spacious room
Cons: Disadvantages: -staff misinformed us about time needed to get to the airport and we were rushing out at 04:00 in the morning without having possibility of taking breakfast which we have paid for. Too much focus is paid to shuttle bus connection when in fact it takes 5 minutes to go to the airport. We were 2.5 hours before our flight when we could have had breakfast in easy and relaxed way. Bad information from reception staff!

Pros: Great to have parking on site - hotel has its own carpark. Would help if the intercom worked here. Parking very expensive around here otherwise.
Cons: There was loud telephone conversation from next door room until 12:30 at night. Hotel was so empty would have been better to book us not into an adjacent room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bery fast check in /checknout, very friendly, nice rooms but not big
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I can just say it was a great stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and the ambience of the place. The unique name tells you so much about the place
Cons: Nothing to say as feel it covers all my requirements of a lovely place
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I often stop at this hotel when I find myself in the UK, as I have friends in the area. The staff were, as always, exceptional. The breakfast buffet and bar in the evening are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. They are respectful and amicable. Always very approachable. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated in the theme of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone
Cons: I still do not agree with having to put down a deposit every time I stay, it is annoying to get the money back as my cards are from a different country and so have more protocols for the return. Surely there should be frequent customer information and trust?Stopping at Christmas I should have expected a Christmas party, but it is annoying to try and access your room through a mass of people.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable and good position in town
Cons: Small-ish room

Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was great. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi bath and it was amazing. Breakfast was great with lots of options. I would definitely recommend.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast cooked to order and very well presented. Cafetieres of coffee - single cup - make your own for your preferred strength - plentiful supply. Bedroom a good size with en suite - walk in shower brilliant. Location of room made it a little noisy from traffic. Bed suited my partner but a little too soft for me. I was out for dinner but my partner dined in and, bearing in mind it was the run up to Christmas, was very impressed by the service and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Cons: Other than the traffic noise we had no disparaging comments.

1,0 Poor
Pros: Breakfast was chaotic. The three tables nearest us arrived after us and all got served well in advance of us. Coffee and Tea were good. Poached eggs were under cooked.
Cons: Meal night before was a disaster - virtually every diner had a problem. One stormed out; most of the others were left like us perplexed at how bad the food was and how poor the service. Room was very nice.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Lovely venue and grounds. The golf was excellent. The Werner was excellent.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Michelle was a breath of fresh air, so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Ben really sorted things out and arranged it for us to get the best out of our stay. Food was delicious, pizza was lush and breakfast freshly cooked and plenty of it. Loved the character features in the pub and the area was like a little village, fab atmosphere.
Cons: It was unfortunate that renovation was going on at the same time, but it didn't affect us too much.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - very good. Breakfasts were v good too. Owing to location and nearness of the main streets, it was very noisy well into the early hours. Probably this was exacerbated by it being near to Christmas when we stayed. Overall I am glad we booked The Olde Kings Arms.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and always cheerful, offering us tours of the hotel and advising us of the local area. The hotel itself is a beautiful little building, rustic and traditional; residing in a stunning historic town. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Felt very welcome by all staff members, like a home from home. Would definitely recommend and would come back!
Cons: We had a problem with the plumbing due to it being such an old building, the staff were amazing though and offered an alternative. Although the old windows look beautiful for the historic value of the property, they did let a lot of draft into the bedrooms, which required leaving the heating on (which was very warm) I would imagine that costs a lot.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were extremely helpful

Pros: The hotel is in quite a good location for the airport although it did cost us £9 in an Uber to get to the airport the next morning. Continental breakfast was ok but we still had to eat at the airport as not much choice.
Cons: The bed was terrible, every time you eve moved an inch it made a terrible noise so unfortunately we did not sleep very well at all.
7,3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was a 10/10
Cons: night staff on reception left us waiting for entry into the hotel, until he had finished a phone call. I had an evening meal in the hotel, which was supposed to be a succulent piece of chicken with bacon & cheese melted in a bun, served with salad and skinny chips. The chicken was hard and almost inedible, the bacon was one small slice and the cheese almost non existent as was the salad @ £15.50 it was a complete ripoff.

Pros: Great room, facilities + breakfast. Meal in restaurant was great value.
Cons: Charged for parking, even though it was free parking at the time of booking. We also emailed in advance to check this. The hotel returned our email to confirm the parking was complimentary. On arrival we were charged for the 2 cars (we booked 3 rooms). We have been advised that the 'Terms and conditions changed' after our booking but the hotel did not inform us of this. We are still in dispute with the hotel via email and have not come to a satisfactory conclusion.

Pros: Great breakfast, clean room, friendly staff, small but clean pool.
Cons: The reception staff didn't know if the sofa bed was set up or not - but it was, so we were worried for no reason.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Waiting staff - Lauren was a star
Cons: Disturbed sleep, large group running up and down corridors and playing with door locks from 230-430am. Reported to night manager at reception but no action taken. Shame because has potential to be a great stay.

Pros: Excellent Building - looked really wonderful. Great bar and staff. Wonderful decor. Good shower.
Cons: Terrible bed - so uncomfortable, barely slept a wink; expected better for the price. And - very odd - cold white (as opposed to warm white) lighting in the rooms. It gave everything an unsettling feeling - and - given the fact they were energy saving bulbs, there was not enough light to illuminate the room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff. Lovely building. Nice, large and clean rooms.
Cons: Staff was very friendly, but clearly not trained to deal with admin issues.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: We prepaid for evening meals but the choice was very poor.
6,0 Good
Pros: Very warm welcome. Information given re breakfast. Rooms are small but comfy. Tea/coffee and biscuits are complimentary as are bathroom amenities. The reception area library is impressive to sit and chill out.
Cons: Upon check in, no orientation information given i.e. where the bar is for the evening. Toiletries - perhaps soap dispensers would be more environmentally friendly (both in the shower and at the basin). No mini bar in the room. Be careful when there are events on in the function halls - party-goers are very noisy, slamming doors, so ask upon check in and ensure you get a room as far away as possible form the function.

Cons: Breakfast could’ve been better

Cons: Having to pay for parking.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The communal parts of the hotel. My Husband liked the shower
Cons: Car park charge. The layout of my room. The bed seemed a bit too open coming in from the door
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with upmarket fittings.
Cons: Paper thin walls between rooms. You could hear everything going on. Very poor breakfast that doesn't do justice to the Hilton brand. Surprisingly the breakfast was no better in quality over a premier Inn. Premier Inn comes out on top in terms of quietness. Their doors don't slam.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good rate for a Sunday including breakfast
Cons: Parking charges, room had a foul smell like bad drains and staff told me breakfast was 7am when it was 6am.

Pros: Bed was not comfortable and did not meet my expectations. However breakfast was on point
Cons: Uncomfortable bed

Pros: The location was excellently placed for the purpose of my visit. The staff were very helpful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent and brilliant service from the staff :)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We were happy with the room, clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing and attending. Whilst booking I put a note saying the stay was for my partners birthday. Within minutes of us getting into our room there was a knock on the door, they had made him a birthday cake plate. Was a very nice touch. The breakfast was everything you could want and more. The breakfast staff were very polite and helpful
Cons: In the bar area the walls were dusty towards the top with flies all over them and the ceiling. One of the staff members in the bar was rude whilst sorting our order of drink. Left them all on the bar we had to find a tray ourselves to be able to take the pots etc to the table. The only Downside to our room was that the bins were kept right outside so we were woken in the morning with them being wheeled about etc.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Breakfast staff were so friendly and great with the kids. They made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
Cons: The room was a little cramped with the sofa bed pulled out. This is not really a complaint, more a suggestion. This is always the case in these type of chain hotels and I understand it makes financial sense. But a family room with bunkbed in a nook would really be a fantastic option for travelling families! Especially as the hotel is so close to the Potter studios and must have families book in all the time.
7,9 Good

Cons: Very basic and dated rooms
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The friendly staff at the reception desk
