Pros: Great breakfast, very friendly and great Irish hospitality.

Pros: Very clean and friendly family! We really enjoyed our stay and the I caused breakfast was terrific! We even got our own French Press for coffee. Staff was so kind and let us keep our luggage there all day after we had checked out so we could go sight seeing before our train departed. The trip from train station is a short walk and a cheap taxi fair.

Cons: A little difficult to find as we had not downloaded a map and we approached the town from the other side and there were no signs indicating the road names nor route number, however once we found the road the guesthouse was easy to find.

Pros: A charming and boutique hotel, centrally positioned in Kilkenny. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food was very good. Room service was spot on. Overall quite nice stay.

Cons: No ramps or lifts for the elderly or disabled. Lacks the modern elements of the bigger hotel chains.

Cons: The lighting in our room wasn't great. The main light in the room was very dim and took a while to brighten up just a little bit. The wifi in our room was not great either. The moment we walked out the door it was fantastic but inside the room was obviously a little blind spot

Pros: I liked everything about the Langton Hotel. Hint: if you want a quiet room, contact the hotel direct. We were above the bar on a Sunday night, so the music ended at 9. Friday and Saturday nights, it is much louder until later. Bring ear plugs or stay up until 2. The rest of the hotel should be much quieter.

Cons: Queen bed was soft, twins were hard. A selection for everyone.

Pros: Huge hotel in the middle of town. Lots of parking. Large room, bathroom almost as big. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Pros: Christmas decorations were nice, the terrace bar was a lovely setting, and the gym was ok

Cons: Staff has absolutely no interest. Had to ask for a menu, had to ask for a drink, had to ask for food, had to ask for condiments. Might as well have been a self service hotel. The restaurant was full for dinner, they turned us away and said the staff at the check in desk should have reserved a table for us, but we weren't told about a restaurant, we had to go find it ourselves and then it was booked out. Food in the bar wasn't great, seafood chowder was poor. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Looked like it was very family oriented so that's a plus for families. Poor experience for us (couple late 20s) overall especially for the price paid. Location was ok if you drive.

Cons: No hot water one evening due to plumbing issue. Leisure Centre definitely needs updating and scruffy looking. Children running around everywhere

Pros: The bed was crazy comfy and the service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and even though we were only there for the night it was a really lovely experience.

Cons: The room we stay was too noisy.seems like there was a dryer room next to ours or some alarm and we couldn't sleep at all was so noisy .was really bad .

Cons: Shower didn't work. Waited to go to Dublin for shower as I have a stoma bag.No response from hotel as yet, 2 weeks later.

Pros: Incredible hotel, great spa, friendly staff. We are in the bar and the food was really good and the staff really looked after us. Would recommend 2 nights minimum here. We went at Christmas time and it was so festive.

Cons: The one restaurant in the hotel had to be booked ahead and receptionist never told us before hand so we had to take the children out in the dark and cold to try find somewhere to eat. At breakfast the other guests were extremely stuck up the poor children couldn't even move or speak or the other guests were tutting and sighing and throwing us dirty looks

Pros: Location is excellent. Kate (hope I got her name correct) on reception she goes the extra mile. Always happy, and nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: Having to try 5 different rooms until I found a bed that wasn't twins pushed together. It was tiring when you have had a long travel day. Very common in Europe and UK to push twins together, but I can't do cracks in middle of the bed as have the worst night sleep as I end up in the crack hahaha. I'm surprised that bed type is not in the system at reception helping both staff and guest. I usually don't stay in hotels that dont have one large bed

Pros: The location was close to all of the medevil sites in Kilkenny as well as to the local bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the Irish music at the local pubs.

Cons: The hotel is in the process of updating its rooms. We were in one which hadn’t yet been updated. The room was clean, but in need of updating.

Pros: All the facilities are super clean and nice, the staff is very friendly.

Cons: The only downside was that the heating system is timed, so you cannot regulate it, which makes the rooms quite cold especially in the early morning.
