Cons: I can’t believe that after a third stay at a five-star hotel, the staff at the front desk surprised me. The information was either wrong or my previous check-in records were gone. The attitude of the front desk staff made me very uncomfortable. I feel like I am an unqualified guest, treat me like a thief and follow me
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: I had to wait for more than 5 minutes in a SPA shower for water to turn warm
Pros: The Mandarin Oriental Taipei fulfilled our expectations - and then some. Classic building, great service, smiles everywhere, spa and breakfast were also top notch. Throughout our various travels, one of the rare occasions where the hotel was the star & highlight of the trip (on top of Taipei being a great city to visit!). Location is not central for a tourist, but taxis are always waiting out front, and the 5~7 minute walk to the MRT station (which has great connectivity) was quick, joyful and peaceful. Definitely our home away from home in Taipei going forward. Last but not least, a very special thank you to William at the check-in desk - one of the most thoughtful, flawless, true- and warm-hearted greetings ever at any hotel.
Pros: The hotel is stunning as are the rooms. The staff are very attentive and recall little things you discussed even the day after. Breakfast is amazing and stunningly presented.
Cons: The wifi has to be paid for in addition to room rate which seems quite ridiculous considering how much the nightly rate is.
Pros: Mandarin Oriental continues to deliver. Outstanding service, amazing bedroom, wonderful staff. Lovely swimming pool
Cons: Hotel feels a bit less "holidayesque" and more business than other South East Asian hotels. Guests get more indulged with extra's in BKK, for instance. Missed a nice hotel lobby sitting area-bar that was open all evening. The tea room closes at 7 PM.
Pros: The people in the hotel were very kind. It has everything that you may expect from a five-star hotel.

Pros: Total experiences was great.. We booked Horizon club room to check in on 36th floor. Get room earlier like 12 noon. View of Taipei 101 is really stunning on our window bedroom. BF, cocktail during 17.30 is ok not much many selections but all good. Drink also great, full of Sparking, Red, White wine, whisky, spirit and beers. Thank you for warm welcome with a nice rose, bottle of wine, box of chocolate for our anniversary occasions. Great choices for us indeed. :)
Cons: Location is a bit far from MRT, but free shuttle bus service is convenience for me to go shopping and MRT. Have to call taxi back to the hotel for return route but not a big deal for us.
Pros: nice vibe, fragrance of the shangrila, pool with amazing view, very spacious room, buffet lot of choices
Cons: beds are hard, could be more comfy
Pros: Everything is perfect
Pros: It was very clean and well maintained. The front doorman and the reception's staffs at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It is 15 min cab ride away from the Sungsan Taipei Airport and lots of major attractions and shopping malls are within 15 min cab rise away including Taipei 101. The roof top outdoor pool has a great view of Taipei city and Taipei 101.
Cons: It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The closest metro station is 10 min walk away but not good when the weather is 29-30 deg C.
Pros: The receptionist at lobby - Veronica is very helpful and cheerful, went extra mile and get us early check in, really impressed. Bar is nice. Swimming pool is great.
Cons: level 6 breakfast food and beverage staff - most of them do not care about customer service. No smile at all. Not impressed. Staff customer service I have received is inconsistent- some are good, some are really bad - which is not ok for 5 star hotel at all
Pros: Horizon Club was great
Cons: Location not the best and some areas of hotel tired

Pros: Soooo good. Will definitely recommend. Staff were amazing and friend;y. Great location literally 10m from mrt station
Pros: The MRT is really next to the hotel. Perfect area.
Cons: The breakfast was not good at all. Almost no choice in term of bread. The bread was dry. Bad noise in air-conditioning systems (vibrations , not all the time, but sufficient to disturb a nice sleep)
Cons: Overall, i am happy to stay next time. Friendly staff and nice room.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: We could enter the room a hour before the actual check-in time. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. They provide shampoo and body wash in big bottles, so they don't spill lots of plastic and the products itself. On the first floor they provide coffee out of a coffee bean machine, for free! No charge at all, but notice it is just for inside use. They also have three washers and dryers you can use, guess what.. for free! If you have any questions about whatsoever, they are really eager to help you. I had a withdraw money problem at the ATM and they called the bank for me, came to our room for extra information and helped me with a right solution. But they also helped with questions in the restaurants and to do's in the neighborhood. A special thanks to Ores for all her help. The hotel is on a nice spot. You can walk to the nightmarket Ningxia, KFC is right on the other side of the street, metro/train is nearby and easy accessible. If I go to Taipei again, this will be the place to sleep at.
Cons: We got a room without a window, not a problem but it made the air a bit stuffy and it looks like the air circulation could fix that problem enough. But it is clean and I have seen no problems caused by it or any mold or so.
Pros: Location is excellent. Near all the public transport. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, they even prepared a bag of supplies including water and warm bags for us and our kids for the site seeing tour. Free cup noodles for supper is very considerate.
Pros: I like how every room door is decorated with a different design. While the lobby and pantry and room are modern design and perfect. Location is convenient to many places. mainly Taipei Train Station.

Cons: Room soundproofing wasn’t really good and you could hear a little bit of noises from next room.
Pros: Big toilet and room layout, and the cleanliness.
Cons: Need a good restaurant in the hotel besides where they serve breakfast.
Pros: Location is great, room lighting is also great, bright and good for reading. Like the cleanliness of the room. Interior design is great for Long stay

Pros: price was good for decent hotel
Cons: There are other hotels that pay more attention to detail in terms of service, cleanliness, etc, but more pricier. This is a good hotel for the price.
Pros: The staffs are all very helpful. They even brought a birthday cake for me in our room and at the check out they have a gift for me as well.
Cons: None everything was ok.
Pros: Great Hotel, with lovely and attentive staff! Thank you all for making our special occasion really special and separate thanks to Adilia for all the attention and care! Definitely we will come back!
Pros: Clean elegant convenient location and very friendly helpful staff
Cons: Not now
Pros: Luxury hotel with very nice staff. All the staff there are very nice and with good attitude. Room is spacious, neat and tidy. ~5mins walk to the metro station. Taking Uber to attractions aren't far away as well.
Special thanks to Olivia, Guest Relations Manager, she helped to make a very memorable celebration.
Will definitely consider it if heading back to Taipei again.
Cons: My room was next to the elevators, some weird noise was made all the time, not so loud tho.
The exterior is a bit old, I was a bit deterred due to this reason before booking.
Cons: breakfast for kids charge as the same price as adult. All dining restaurants has no privileges for in house guests
Pros: Excellent place to stay and breakfast was amazing. Rooms were comfortable and staff was excellent in communication and helping. Especially VJ the customer relationship manager was awesome to find out our needs and full-filling it on timely manner. The rooms were very spacious and the ambience were good. Had a wonderful and pleasant stay during my trip to Taipei and I recommend for this place for the people who visit to Taipei.

Pros: We had some problems regarding the noise in the room and miscommunication with the housekeeper. However, after the incident, we were given a suite room where we stayed comfortably the rest of our stay. The toilet was probably the best we came across in Taiwan. the location was great.
Cons: The room we initially booked (superior double room) was rather too small. small double bed. and we had some noise issue. Though, it was quickly resolved by the staff. Also, the swimming pool was closed for the season.
Cons: The room looks old
Pros: Polite & helpful staff. They are flexible and attend to our special requests promptly .
Cons: The bathroom a little small though it is well equipped
A stay at Roaders Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, a 3-minute drive from Red House Theater and 8 minutes from Lungshan Temple. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Very nice Staff, Very good Service. Free snacks, Kids Room, Friendly Staff.
Pros: The amenities can't be beat. My kids loved everything from the snacks to the game room to the games in the lobby. They say they don't serve breakfast, but the donuts and sandwiches in the morning were plenty for my kids and I. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the Ximending area as well as to the subway or buses. And you don't have to worry about forgetting toiletries as they provide just about all of them for you.
Cons: The shower/tub area was moldy smelling. They need to come up with a better way to block the window in that area because the blinds become moldy. The room's walls were also not very clean from spills from previous guests. I wish they had safes in the room and more options for larger families.
Pros: Tidy room, seems like brand new beddings & towels. No water stains to toilet glass divider. Daily room cleaning. Secured place.
Cons: Small room but since we just have to sleep because of our hectic itinerary so we dont mind , we still had a comfortable space.
Pros: Location wise, it is very near Ximen station a bit further for Taipei Main Station but still considerably close. Very well located not far from Ximending and with a lot restaurant, coffee shop and breakfast shop nearby. The best thing about the hotel is the B1 floor where the reception is. It has a very nice place to relax with free snacks, soft drinks and most importantly! free arcade games.
Cons: The room may be quite narrow especially if you have huge luggage. The walls are quite thin but it didn't really bother us much.
Pros: Convenient location and friendly staff
Cons: It will be perfect if the rooms were brighter

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff lived up to its reputation as being both friendly and helpful. Also, we visited the Shangri-La while in Taipei and glad we stayed at the Landis. The other hotels had an industrial feel and totally impersonal. Will be returning.
Cons: The only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but not a deal breaker.
Pros: Well its a very luxery hotel without getting overdone. very kind and helpfull staff. Politness that is normal in that culture but saidly hard to find anymore in Europe. Good restaurant and nice bar. and very good rooms including bathrooms for very reasonable prices
Pros: This is a very elegant hotel with a wonderful layout. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, with spacious bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredible. They all displayed high quality customer service and were extremely helpful, from getting us taxis to helping us find local places to eat as well as suggestions of where to go to see things in Taipei. The breakfast was very well organized and had a mix of western and Chinese food. One of the Manager's Johnny was very kind and respectful and always made sure that we were happy. The whole stay was amazing and would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taipei. For the service and amenities this hotel offered I believe this was an excellent deal in terms of cost. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
Pros: excellent service, good but busy location..
Cons: buffet breakfast is not as good as used to be, compare with my last year stay.
Pros: The hotel was perfect. Clean, fresh, stylish, and the staff were absolutely amazing. World definitely recommend and stay there again.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect. The breakfast selection was a little limited, however that was the only tiny letdown.
Pros: I always stay at the Landis when I visit Taipei. The service is excellent, the food is good and the staff friendly & competent. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is great. It is very much like a boutique hotel, if that is what you enjoy.
Cons: The gym equipment is a bit outdated! Only complaint.
Pros: We are very happy to stay there
Pros: Very friendly, nice and helpful Staffs
Cons: Old furnitures and design. Even I stayed on 11th floor, it’s still a little bit noisy from the steet (the ambulance sound) and upstairs (I think from the gym room).
Pros: service was excellent, location great
Cons: neighborhood didn't have stores that were of interest to walk to.
With a stay at Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei, you'll be centrally located in Taipei, within a 5-minute drive of Huashan 1914 Creative Park and Taipei Arena. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast spread and quality was very good.
Pros: Nice and clean and close to metro station
Pros: very nice welcome at the beginning, staff nice and made me comfortable, room clean and fruit was much appreciated. They allowed me to take shower in a gym after my check out.....not many places doing this. thanks
Cons: first room close to elevator,I don't know about this or what but during night before sleep I heard some cable or cabin noisy......aniway I slept good aniway
Pros: All the staff were very polite and courteous. Special mention of night duty manager (Ms Cheng) who assisted us with the laundry on more than one occasion. She was extremely helpful and goes out of the way to help guests - the hotel is lucky to have a staff like Ms Cheng who truly loves her job. This hotel is about 6mins walk to Songjiang Nanjing MRT station (which is 4 stops to Ximen) so it is very convenient to go to the bustling Ximending. We booked two rooms - one of which was the huge corner room with 1 King bed and 1 Queen bed and a separate living/dining room plus a walk-in wardrobe. Perfect for a family of 4!
Cons: Nothing, everything was awesome! Except that perhaps this is a business hotel - Its location does not have shopping centres nearby, although there are numerous cafes and bakeries within a 200m radius.
Pros: Delicious breakfast with hospitality. In addition, we could have special lunch box for early time check out. Clean & tidy room.
Pros: The decor in this hotel is dated, but absolutely unique and must be experienced at least once in a lifetime. The bed was hard at first, but I got such a deep sleep, I think it's the best bed I ever slept in....and it's so nice that the big windows open up to Taipei if you call down to front desk. I loved that. Service at this hotel CANNOT be beat.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like......if you got out a magnifying glass, I guess there were some slight scuff marks at the base of some of the furniture.
A stay at Finders Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, a 3-minute drive from Red House Theater and 7 minutes from Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Location is closer to the Taipei main train and High Speed Rail station; staff always kept smiling and patiently answered questions while serving guests; snack bar in the early morning was a surprise.
Cons: The light in lobby is a little bit dark
Pros: Location was perfect, so close to Taipei Main Station, NTU Hospital Station, and Xiamen Station. And the theme/ambiance of the hotel was great too. Love the small details especially with the name of the amenities (shampoo, soap, etc.). The free food available 24/7 is also an amazing addition that we weren’t expecting. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance.
Cons: Our room had no window, but it was specified at time of booking.
Pros: Very clean. Polite staffs
Cons: Overall none.
Pros: I love the free snacks and drinks all dat
Pros: the staff are very accomodating and the unlimited food.
Cons: they don’t have a bidet. but its fine.
Pros: I like the location of the hotel which is about a 5-min walk from NTU Hospital station. It is a plus that is near Ximen Station (meeting place of our tour) and Taipei Main Station (access to Airport MRT, Taiwan High Speed Rail). Some tourist spots are walking distance from the hotel. The room is clean and snacks/water are available 24/7. I appreciate that the hotel allows safekeeping of our luggage before check in and after check out.
Cons: The size of the room is smaller than other accommodations I've stayed in. There's not enough space for our luggage (1 luggage per person).
Pros: All day snacks bar and drinks (the milk tea was definitely a big plus point for winter). Room is small as expected for an accommodation in Taipei but has all the essentials.
A stay at The Grand Hotel places you in the heart of Taipei, within a 5-minute drive of National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine and Taipei Fine Arts Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location in between 2 metro-stations, with free shuttle busses operating from the Hotel. Room was good, with very good shower and heated toilet seat :) Pool was officially 50m pool (the reason I choose this hotel) with free towels.
Cons: I had a discount room, but my window looked at a mountain with bush at 1 meter, so didn't like that. Also the room was not in the main building, so needed to walk 3 minutes to take a cab to the city. And no 1 big bed, but 2 single beds :(
Cons: No1. Aircon in room did not work. Complained twice, manager says its a warm day. Hence room is warm. Suggested i open glass door. In the end, mosquitoes entered room and my kids and i had many mosquito bites. No2, room given was in annex building instead of main building. Had to walk to main building and go up and down staircases. They dont tell you this when booking. No3 location wise a little isolated. Need take taxi. They have shuttle bus to yuanshang station and jiantan station. No4 hotel room is good size but rather old inside. Furniture and carpets are old. All in, i think there are much better choices elsewhere.
Pros: It is beautiful, classy and full of history. But some facilities are too old and need updates. It took a long walk to get to my room. since I had knee joint problem, it was a painful experience.
Pros: Yes, I like breakfast.
Cons: im sure, yes. My family like it.
Pros: The architecture is just amazing. Room is spacious with really nice touch. Rich breakfast which will make you spoilt for choices. Will come back again real soon!
Pros: One of the best hotels you can stay at in Taiwan. Spacious room, great service staff and convenience store on-site. View of Taipei 101 from balcony. Wished I had more time to explore the place. Really an iconic hotel!
Cons: Location is not the most convenient but the free shuttle services helps a great deal
Pros: Very like this hotel with Chinese traditional buildig, very large room and deck, nice bathroom.
Pros: There's a bus to take you to and from the airport right to the hotel for approximately $3. It's convenient to get to the National Palace Museum, a fabulous museum of Chinese art. The restaurant is OK, but we enjoyed the club restaurant which is on the campus.
Cons: This is a hotel catering to tour groups. We had a small room with nice bath, but it was on the inside so no windows. We used the concierge who went out of her way to help us but the front desk was less helpful.
Situated in the heart of Taipei's new and dynamic business district, Grand Hyatt Taipei is conveniently located within the World Trade Centre complex and adjacent to the Taipei 101 Shopping and Financial Tower. The hotel has direct access to the Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall and is a short walk from popular shopping malls and entertainment venues. The hotel is 20 minutes by car from Taipei World Trade Nankang Exhibition Hall.
Pros: Clean and good service
Pros: The staff are so courteous, well trained and world class. They are like Japanese in manners.
Cons: Location, Service, Everything.
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly staff. Brilliant views. Soft bed. Big room. One of the best buffets around. Fresh food of absolutely every variety you could want for breakfast.
Cons: For the price of the room, I have stayed in better hotels for much cheaper. Carpets weren't that clean. Way over priced for the room. Pretty basic room for the price. Buffet was way overpriced.
Pros: Excellent Food Outlets inside the hotel
covered bridge access to Taipei 101 and other attractions
slight walk to night market but good exercise for the street food
Excellent service and really helpful staff
Pros: Great location and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again
Cons: The room was very dirty we pay 635-700 usd per night for 4 night to see the fireworks from our room but all we can see was a very dirty window hardly looking through outside view. So why do we have to pay that much if we can’t see anything? The bed is so small 90 cm, you can hardly move during the night and this is not what you expect from the room that cost 700usd a night the room size is so smal as well (33 Sqm. If the Hyatt would like to charge that much for this kind of room, we better stay somewhere else

Cons: The buffet breakfast was very disappointing. A lot of the hot food such as bacon and eggs was cold.
Pros: Quiet. Comfortable bed
Cons: Abit old especially furniture. Air con can be colder
Pros: Great location.
Cons: We ordered room survive 5times. English levels of those people were very low.
Pros: It’s sparkling clean, staff are very attentive and helpful.
Cons: Glass window is not sound proof.
Pros: the breakfast did not provide big range of food, there should be more choice for guest to select. the hotel location is convenient for type of guests.
Cons: more chairs should be placed in the lobby for the hotels guests. so that guests can sit there to wait for their friends.

Pros: Very modern, great decore, excellent staff with very good English language skills, great breakfast, excellent cocktails in lounge.
Cons: Problem wth climate controls. Air conditioning is either on or off. It doesn't use a set temperature as a goal, but stays on all the time, so it's either too cold or too hot. Also bed is very hard.
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Pool was outdoors, couldn’t use as it was raining on the day of my stay
Pros: The room was great - comfortable and very clean. I had a wonderful view!
Cons: Location not perfect - a little way out from main city centre
Pros: Nice view and facilities, the spa services in the hotel was awesome!!

Pros: I was staying there for 3 nights in their marvelous suites. check in time took so long, I have to wait for 3 hours while they clean up the room, they said because the room is quite big so they need more time to clean the room.. but 3 hours of waiting is really not torelable
Pros: Unexpected upgrade to suite from check in Million thanks to the guy who upgraded my stay in W taipei.
Pros: Loud lively and hip what you’d expect from a W hotel . Rooms were bright and Nicely designed with large windows and bright decor. Yunis from concierge was very helpfully day kind
Cons: The 2 elevators to get to the rooms was a bit annoying and the breakfast area was too crowded in the morning , probably needs to be a bit larger for the size of the hotel
Pros: Lovely rooms. Modern, hip atmosphere
Cons: Concierge was an idiot who sent me off to the wrong place for dinner.
