Bathroom was way to small, main bed could only had access from one side and room was well used, needed face lift.
Staff were friendly, room clean and compacted
No view of the surroundings couldnt see outside from the window
Very close to centre Hobart and Salamanca Markets and other markets, also restaurants and shops
The shower water could not be changed the tap was broken and it was scalding hot. As it was a long weekend it was hard to fix. Staff were helpful and we used the bathroom in a vacant room. Rooms are small basic. But if your focus is on activities then a small room is inconsequential.
The location and value for money were both good and the restaurant was quite good
We stayed four nights total, three then return one night after a four-day walk; the mattress was soft in both rooms and on the last night there was a smell which seemed to be coming from the air-conditioning but it wasn't awful, just a nuisance.
I went for work and only needed a bed. Admittedly I couldn't get in anywhere else so was grateful for the availability. Upon arrival I had the pleasure of meeting the divine Celine, she was friendly and helpful and welcoming so no issue with staff. Had a late dinner in my room from restaurant so very convenient and food was great, had met needs in this way even though room was a bit backpacker but for price it was fine.
I had to work early the next day and had absolutely no sleep all night. The way the property is set up is not conducive to people that need to get up early. The person that stayed next to me had people coming to their room on a regular basis and all I could hear all night was very noisy sex. I am not a prude by any means however when I hear the same noise and routine all night its a bit inconvenient but I also could have taken earplugs so no judgement to that person at all. Apart from that particular room drunk people coming home at all hours and noise horrendous. In all honesty that's fine if you are booked in to attend a party or event and will be doing that ( I mean who doesn't like fun and it was Friday night ) however if I am working I will look harder next time and find an air bnb so I can sleep. One more little thing ( sorry ) really does need a good clean. Price good for traveller's and a quick trip if you dont need much sleep. Was grateful for the availability however and as I said the staff were just beautiful.
