Pros:The staff was nice enough.Cons:literally everything could have been better. The car we reserved wasn't there, so they told us they had to put us in a compact. We had a seven hour drive. At first, we got in the car since that was all they said they had. It was gross. The interior was grungy and the car had clearly been smoked in. Additionally, there were six or seven other vehicles sitting there that we could have chosen. We went back inside and asked why they weren't offered, and all they said was they'd give us six dollars off the rental. I told them to refund the trip and that we would go somewhere else. We ended up going to Avis a couple blocks away. Yes, it was more expensive, but I would rather pay more for what I want than less for the polar opposite of what I want or need.Reviewed Jun 13 2020

Pros:The staff called two hours before our scheduled vehicle pick up time to tell us they had no vehicle for us and no options. I’m not sure how we could have gotten a reservation confirmation, but no car. It put my wife and me in a terrible bind, and not a pleasant experience.Cons:If they actually had a car for us, or had declined our reservation due to no available vehicle from the start.Reviewed Jul 25 2019

Pros:The staff was friendly and helpful, made it easy to pick up and drop off. Also liked the fact that I didn't have to go to the airport to get a rental, as well as its proximity to the Metro.Cons:Gas tank was only 3/8 full, so had to make a stop for gas. Makes it easier starting with a full tank as well as when it is dropped off. Easier to fill it than figure out how much to add to get the 3/8.Reviewed Apr 8 2019

Gabriel did a tremendous jobPros:Gabriel is the Hertz representative. He did a tremendous job of answering all my questions and providing a rental car that served my family’s needs. I upgraded to a luxury SUV and Gabriel identified a car in his inventory that offered exactly the options I needed.
