Upon getting vehicle. Upon starting vehicle, it flashed a message that back tire treading low, needs Maintenace or checked. I asked the gentleman working about it at the exit. He said don't worry about it. 'You should be OK' didn't sound promising. So, I asked the supervisor on duty, he said let's switch your vehicle out. Then, upon turning in the vehicle, the scan person was out to lunch, although 3 able bodies sitting and or standing there said just leave the key in the car and when she gets back from lunch, we will make sure to let her know to scan your vehicle back and email you a receipt. Been over 14 hours since that occurred still no receipt. Concerning that 3 employees can sit and aren't crossed train to scan a vehicle in. Doesn't make sense to me. This is a very sad situation at CVG airport.Reviewed Oct 7 2023

Cons:Cruise control on the 2019 Versa that I rented did not work. The cruise on/off button on the steering wheel was faulty. I rely on cruise control to keep me from speeding when I drive on the interstate freeway. Not having cruise control was a major inconvenience. Agent at counter was not clear as to what I was paying for, vis-a-vis how much gas I needed to put in the tank, before returning the car. If is unlikely I will rent from HERTZ in the future.Reviewed May 23 2021

Pros:Staff was excellent! They waited 30 minutes past their closing time to accommodate my flight that was landing in CVG at 10:17pm Best experience and most courteous employee everCons:There was last car on the lot. Extreme shortage of vehicles in CVG apparently so I wasn’t going to complain. The inside of the car reeked of some sort of someone from the previous renters (not sure, cigarettes? Weed?) anyways As I said I opened my window and clinched my feet and made it through my ride to Lexington. I was grateful I got a car and that they waited for meReviewed May 13 2021

Pros:Staff was friendly. With a line they came out and started working with people who weren’t at the counter yet to speed up the process.Cons:Asked for vehicle that fits 7 passengers with 4 suitcases, got a small Kia Sorento, with 7 people there might be room for 1 suitcase. Had nothing bigger for me so we were cramped the entire trip. There was dog hair all over inside and I had to ask them to vacuum because my family is allergic to dog hair. She said they had minivans available but would only give me one if the dog hair messed with my allergies after they vacuumed, which I wouldn’t know until I was already into my trip...Reviewed Feb 14 2021
