Unfortunately the pricing was incorrect from when I booked on Kayak to when I went to pay in person. Kayak quoted me $187 and unfortunately did not include the young renter fee or taxes, making the total really out to be $282. I was unimpressed and the employee at the location also did not confirm pick up or drop off times with me.

The vehicle was great! Location is housed with 5 other rentals, picking up took over an hour. We were told we got a rental with a full tank of gas but it was only at 1/4 full. They did give us credit for it though.

First assigned car wouldn't start, second car smelled like it had been smoked in (clean otherwise). Also, I had to extend my trip by 5 hours and they charged another full day. When I had to drop it off later than expected (flight delay) they charged me a late fee even though it was well within the 24 hour period they had previously charged me for. Add to that all the hidden fees, taxes, etc I should have just used Uber during my trip. It would have been way cheaper.

The confirmed vehicle was not supplied but the charge for a lower class was not reduced. The car was rented with a plugged right front tire that lost air. The emergency road service was a total failure without a satisfactory conclusion. It was necessary to have the tire fixed privately in order to continue our trip which was to be able to attend my sister's funeral and subsequent burial in a different city. I will not be using Budget in the future.

New car, helpful lady at the deskhad to wait a long time for the pick up van, cake twice. The car smelled really bad of cigarette and Marijuana. The check out gate was not manned, I had to step out and go look for someone. Was told that he'll be there when he can

A throng of people waiting and only two workers for three agencies: Payless, Avis and Budget. Out of those workers, only one was competent. Ridiculous. The problem is that agencies don't want to pay a living wage and folks can just decide not to come to work.

Correct class of car was ready when i arrived. Car was clean.Short staffed. Only one person for 3 rental car companies. Nobody was there for drop off even though it was during the day and i had to put the keys in a lock box. There wasn’t anyone to return the car to.

Staff seemed annoyed, they got the job done, pick up other than staff, was nice as well as drop off.Then car smelled like someone had smoked a joint in it right before I got in, but tried to cover it up with new car smell. Was very annoying and gave me a headache.

I rented through Dollar, and everything on the website was fine. However, once I got to the pick up location, my card got declined. I moved some money around and went to try again, and the woman working said I couldn’t use the same card because it had already gotten declined. It would have been nice for her to tell me that before I put all of my money into that card. My father ended up paying for it because I didn’t know what else to do. Then when I got back to drop off the car, there were no instructional signs. I went inside and stood in line for 30 minutes for the lady to give me a blank stare and tell me the man already checked in my car and I should have gotten an email. I still got the hard copy of the receipt in case anything else happened. Overall, it was a pretty rough experience.

Dollar closed their lot. -----Couldn't find it. Finally discovered they moved into the Hertz building with Thrifty several blocks away -- found it by just guessing! No sign, no phone number, nothing at the closed lot. That wasn't convenient. Waited and waited in line. When finally got to the check-out person, she was nice, HOWEVER, the price we were quoted on Priceline was NOT the actual price. We received a "pay now bill" of $63 for "fees," "service charge" and other miscellaneous costs that were never mentioned when we reserved the car. We pre-paid the whole amount and thought we were set. WRONG. Will not be going to Dollar or Priceline again. Did not like the SURPRISE bill once we were at the counter to pick up the car.

Little more customer service neededQuck shuttle serviceWe were given no explanation regarding drop off at 5am. Had to stop by day prior to confirm shuttle ran that early. Maybe should have asked at pickup but was in a hurry to pick up other family at airport. No explanation or overview if van.... Here are the keys..ho get it yourself basically.

Car with prior damage and service rep refused to iThe car had significant damage (Red car with dents and yellow paint transfer) when picked up. Advised service rep and asked her to view damage. She told me to fill out a form and said she wasn't going to view the damage. I was the only person at the lot picking up a car and the vehicle was maybe 50 feet from the door. Asked if damage had been previously reported. She didn't know? Gave her the form and took numerous photos. Also noticed while I had car that the left side doors didn't close properly, like the car had been in an accident. Not viewing the damage is unacceptable!

Staff was friendly. With a line they came out and started working with people who weren’t at the counter yet to speed up the process.Asked for vehicle that fits 7 passengers with 4 suitcases, got a small Kia Sorento, with 7 people there might be room for 1 suitcase. Had nothing bigger for me so we were cramped the entire trip. There was dog hair all over inside and I had to ask them to vacuum because my family is allergic to dog hair. She said they had minivans available but would only give me one if the dog hair messed with my allergies after they vacuumed, which I wouldn’t know until I was already into my trip...

DelayCar was what we neededHad to wait 1 1\2 hours to get the car we reserved. Very poor excuses why it was not available when scheduled. Extra $200 credit not explained until after rental was completed. We will not make the mistake of renting from Hertz again.

TerribleI went to pick up at and there were none available. Hertz employee said they overbooked and had no cars. They did not offer in any way to try and find me a car. Tough luck no car and no customer service to help out. On top of it I tried calling someone from Kayak and Hertz. Virtually impossible to get a live person on the phone.Horrible service. Hertz employees offered no help what so ever basically my unlucky day. Ruined our planned getaway.

Free upgrade and car pictures taken in advanceI received a free upgrade from a compact vehicle (I believe that was the size I requested) to a crossover vehicle. Also, I was very pleased to see that the Hertz representative came with me outside to the car and was prepared to take pictures of any pre-existing damage on or in the car. In fact, the representative was ready to take pictures of anything I wanted documented on or in the car.

Rude!!We got there to rent the car and they told us we needed paperwork that we didnt have. When we rented the car online nothing told us we would need proof of residency. Long story short i never got a car but im out $54 because of some insurance they cant refund.

I was willing to go to nearest airport for full size car, but it would be much more expensive because of airport taxes. It was only five minutes away, but that much more? Ridiculous!

Don't rent from Enterprise!Nothing. The staff treated me poorly and with disrespect. I would NEVER rent from the again.I reserved a rental car and when I went in to get it I was told I couldn't rent it because I didn't have a credit card. Then I was told if I used my debit card (which I use for everything) I would need a copy of a utility bill. I then logged onto my account and produced a utility bill in my name and was then told it wasn't good enough, the bill had to have a zero balance. The bill wasn't due yet so I hadn't paid it. I have never been treated so poorly. I am convinced Enterprise does NOT want to honor these cheaper/bargain rentals so in turn they come up with any excuse in the book not to honor them. Shame on Enterprise for how they treat people.

The pick up process was ridiculous. It took 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Then once there it took another 30 minutes waiting in line to get the paperwork. Even with a parking lot full of cars we had to wait yet again for them to drive a car up from the recent drop off area.

Not the best car rental experienceHelp in Erlanger was great. Attendant was patient and checked to see prices for different drop off locations in Savannah.Was charged much more than the estimate at drop off. Car felt unstable on the road. Attendants in Savannah were not helpful when I inquired as to why I was charged more.
