Avis really got it wrong with me. First, they confirmed vie e-mail and text message the reservation at a rental location not too far away from my house. I was dropped by an uber at the location, only to discover it was closed because of COVID 19. There was no one there to help and I was stranded. I called their helpline and it took me 30 minutes to talk to a real person. He tried for a while to look for an open location to change the pick up. He finally found a car that matched my reservation at an airport 40 miles away, at a higher rate. He promised to honor my initial rate. At this point I’m almost two hours off my schedule, taking into account the time it would take me to take an uber to the location. I arrived at the Airport to discover that the pickup location had been mistakenly changed by the customer service guy to a different airport - nearly 70 miles away from where I was. And the cherry on top of the pie... the representative in that location got me a car, but didn’t honor my initial rate. What a HORRIBLE experience - I WILL NEVER USE AVIS AGAIN.10,0 Wonderful
