Pros: Tea and cake on arrival was very welcoming and the biscuits and cake in the room was a nice touch. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.Location was very good.
Cons: Only hard wooden chairs provided in the room-very uncomfortable. Towels only changed every 3 days (due to climate concerns (?) but consequently had to have the heating on all day to dry wet towels and bathroom mat. (This always got soaked as the shower tray was too shallow to prevent the water spilling on to the floor) The noise from the fridge by the bedroom door made so much noise it disturbed our sleep . Very disappointed with the breakfast choices and no fruit offered.Wi fi signal very weak on the 2nd floor.Bed was not comfortable and came home with a bad back.

Pros: Loved the quirky rooms and the heated rock pool it was amazing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had such a wonderful time, the attention to detail was fantastic- from the Japanese style toilets, the jacuzzi bath and the fabulous hot rock pool in the garden, our stay was luxurious and relaxing on every level. The bed was really comfy, room spotlessly clean and breakfast delicious. The staff were lovely- let us have the room earlier than check in to drop off our bag and as the room was vacant the evening we were leaving, they let us keep the key after check out to keep our belongings safe for the day before we left for the train. Such a kind gesture, as allowed us to get changed out of wet clothes (got caught in a massive rain storm!) and get sorted before our journey home. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed longer. We will be back next time we go to Hastings- have spread the word to all our friends and family who are already planning to book a visit. Made my birthday so special. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The room (yellow) was wonderful with really comfortable bed and bedding. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were some of the best we have ever had. Extra touches like the cafetiere, chocolates and hot chocolate at night were much appreciated. The hotel is quiet and within walking distance (up quite a steep hill) of Hastings old town, which is well worth a visit. It has lovely views from the breakfast room and I assume two of the bedrooms. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Cons: It was a little strange that there was no door on the toilet and just a curtain between the bathroom and bedroom, albeit a lovely quality curtain (yellow room), however the bathroom was as lovely as the bedroom!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful B&B, good quality furnishings, excellent provisions ie in room refreshments and probably the best breakfast we've had at a B&B, cooked by a very friendly staff member. Jason provided hot chocolate & marshmallows for when guests arrived back in the evening as well as a large bowl of jelly babies - brilliant! Would definitely recommend The White House. Although it's a bit of a walk into the old town we really liked it as we got lots of steps in and it was very quiet up on the hill. There are lots of good places to eat, we had great fish & chips at The Dolphin Inn - fish & chips Monday with peas, tartar sauce and a pint for £9.95! Other places we liked : Eat @ The Stade, The Green Cafe and The Goat Ledge on the prom, but there are many others we'd like to have tried. We really enjoyed our trip to Hastings and would definitely stay at The White House again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely period property, cosy, warm, very welcoming host, tour of the property as we arrived, excellent personalised breakfast cooked and served with friendly efficiency and attention, lots of extra thoughtful extras available like hot chocolate and marshmallows in the lounge, fresh milk, hot water bottles, hand drawn map of the town, guidance on places to eat etc

There was even a handy little kit of amenities that included a safety pin, which I needed - very helpful! We even caught sight of one of the lovely fluffy cats :-)

Pros: I needed somewhere near the station and also needed a good wifi connection. This place filled both those requirements.
