Cons: pets not allowed.
7,0 Good
Pros: In town for Thanksgiving. Location was perfect at it was near our family. Room was bigger than we thought. Pool n breakfast was a big plus! Friendly staff. Housekeeping was great. We didn't want service but staff still offered to refresh our room.
Cons: We traveled with 2 children & 2 teenagers. Didn't find info about any of the local restaurants or entertainment our room. I'm from Vancouver so not a big deal, but it would be helpful for out of town families.

Cons: Nothing not to like!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Brand new property, great staff, great location for where I needed to be. I would see this is under valued at 2 1/2, this is a 3 star property!

7,0 Good
Pros: New and clean. Very friendly front desk staff. Don't remember his name though. Pool was decent size and indoor for year round use. Wifi worked well.
Cons: Both mornings I looked forward to the complimentary breakfast to save me some money and time. However, the only source of protein was eggs and both mornings they were gone...and left empty for at least 15 minutes, before I finally left. Kinda lame.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the courtesy shuttle service.
Cons: Getting into Portland from this hotel using only public transit can be time consuming.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I believe its a new hotel. They serve not just breakfast but a small dinner menu Monday through Thursday. Close to lots of restaurants. Not far off the freeway, so easy access to Portland airport on the other side of the bridge. Staff very friendly.
Cons: No
7,0 Good
Cons: The constant noise from the heating system on the roof, or at least that's what I assume it was. Very loud! And the entire hotel is very cold
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel only a few years old. Rated as a 2.5 star but really this should be a 3 or 3.5 star property. Hotel was extremely nice, very comfortable, and very nice amenities. I almost never give a '10' rating but this hotel definitely gets a 10.
Cons: Hard to find anything not to like about this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: new, clean, quality furnishings, staff, breakfast, light dinner. great TV set
Cons: room had two queens and only one chair at the desk. Should be able to sit two at least, otherwise the room was a 10.

Pros: The layout of the room and the hotel was convenient. The breakfast was decent compared to other hotel 'free' breakfasts. The pool area was just perfect for kids.
Cons: The rooms appear dated and the furniture is somewhat uncomfortable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for exploring Columbia Gorge, Portland but also for having little 'river district' in Vancouver WA within walking distance with a couple restaurants, coffee shop, beach and river walk.
Cons: Closer to Portland airport than we realized. Airplanes flying closely overhead every few minutes, you could hear them from the outdoor pool. Kitchen could have been better stocked, it really was only set up for eating or reheating prepared meals, not for cooking meals yourself.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The food was good

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean everyday, the property is well kept, the pool is kept clean and tidy. the breakfast area was nicely setup every morning.
Cons: The front desk staff that checked us in, were more often away from the desk than at it, and the attire they had on (washed out old white t-shirts) looked very sloppy, the male took a call while checking us in as he was alone, the girl showed up later.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the separate sleeping room from the dining and kitchen. Very well thought of floor plan. Very clean and great price if booked well in advance. Breakfast was a full on breakfast with eggs and oatmeal and biscuits and gravy. Very good.
Cons: I did not like that the hot tub was closed for "chemical monitoring". We attempted to book a second night but was told they could not give us the same price as the first and wanted double the cost of the room price we paid for the first night!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Hard to control the temperature in the room; either too hot or too cold Breakfast was powdered scrambled eggs  coffee was tasteless (but I'am used to Starbucks ) would have been better to have skipped it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was amazing. So comfortable, with a small but efficient kitchen, complete with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave. And dishes! The bed was large (king) and so comfy! Price for pet is a bit high ($75) and this would have been a dealbreaker but they had a holiday special for $35 so we opted to book our room. So glad we did.
Cons: High price for pet. Usually $25 at other facilities. This one is $75 except for a holiday special break for $35
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A complete kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher. Amazing! Traveling with a pet and very welcoming with a grassy pet area.
Cons: Low hum - apparently a power source but ultimately didn’t detract from our comfort. Plan to stay again in a week on our way back home.
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was ok it felt a little out of the way but not many pet friendly hotels available in the city for a decent price. Theres shopping malls with in a 5-10 min drive so that helped as well as eateries
Cons: I absolutely hated the breakfast! They shouldn't even call that "breakfast" there was no room service option either so do expect much. I say just plan on going out if you want a hearty breakfast.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious, and centrally located for our purposes.
Cons: We were located on the second floor. With someone above us we could hear running back and forth. We couldn't tell if it was a dog or a toddler. We did not complain but in the future, I will ask for a top floor room or one that does not have anyone above.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the amenities were awesome!!! Full kitchenette, allows pets, fitness center, free laundry and parking, delicious breakfast, the list goes on!

7,0 Good
Pros: Liked the set up of the suite with a separate TV area and the kitchen.

Pros: I often stay at Holiday Express although I prefer newer inns. They are predictably comfortable and in good locations. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was quite good. The hotel was located within easy access of highway, restaurants, and food shopping areas. The staff is excellent - friendly and helpful.
Cons: This Holiday Express is getting a bit "old and tired". My room was on the first floor so I couldn't open up the curtains because my window looked out on a parking lots and I wanted privacy. The room was therefore dark.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel. I've been too so many Holiday Inns and have always given there hotel a 10. This hotel has great QUALITY especially the staff. They treat you so great. 5,0 Okay
Pros: This particular location is ideal for our meeting purposes and the ability to access the airport, etc. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room is clean, the woman running it is incredibly helpful, positive, and on top of all aspects. The bed was very comfortable and the staff responded when called, but they were responding to issues requiring help to an "ADA" room.
Cons: The ADA room pretty much came with a variety of challenges. The first obstacle came with entering the room. Transitioning from linoleum to carpet there is a high edge piece at the carpet that made maneuvering the wheelchair difficult - this has to be dealt with each time one uses the bathroom. Towels, etc. are on a high shelf system above the toilet. One must be able to stand to reach them; an impossibility to do from a wheelchair. The bath was not ADA accessible. While a shower seat was available assistance is needed to step over and into the tub/shower. Again, this is not possible for a wheelchair confined individual staying alone. When asking for towels that were not visible from the wheelchair staff brought some, but did not bring a key to enter so another difficult transition from carpet to linoleum to open the door. Hanging area was also above wheelchair reach in the open closet area so it could not be utilized without assistance. These were challenges NOT expected in an ADA room. Found an empty liquor container on the floor behind a chair when trying to turn on the lamp and trash had not been emptied prior to arrival, which probably meant that the room had not been vacuumed either. While the ADA King was recommended at time of reservation the staff suggested next time to call ahead and specify the double queen ADA, which apparently actually is fully ADA accessible. They did feel bad that the King was not as represented.

Pros: We loved the room that we stayed in. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel was very clean and we loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The staff was wonderful (especially Hailey. Pros: I was very impressed with this hotel for the price. It had a fantastic breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon or sausage, as well as waffles, muffins, juice, oatmeal, toast, bagels, and yogurt. Lots of great options! The hotel also has an indoor heated pool and spa which was a lot of fun for my kids. The hotel was quiet, the housekeeping staff did a great job, and we had no issues. I would definitely stay here again next time I come to town.
Cons: The only problem was the plug in our bathtub didn't work so we had to put a washcloth in the drain to give the kids a bath. Oh and when I called the front desk to ask for extra towels and pillows, they asked us to walk down and get them. These things were not a big deal at all!

9,7 Excellent
Pros: The room layout would be very useful for a business traveler with the couch and desk area separated from the bed. The hotel is also off the main street so it is quite quiet. The staff seem very friendly and the facility was very clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: Charging extra for internet access just seems excessive when almost everyone uses it. I would suggest just including it in the cost of the room. Also I overheard another customer being told internet was free with the rewards program and if that is the case then the front desk staff should offer membership at check-in.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall this may have been the best hotel for the price that I've rver stayed at
4,0 Okay
Pros: Room was large and well laid out.
Cons: There was an additional fee for very poor internet. I am surprised they didn't charge for the free cookie
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and well maintained. Staff performed perfectly. The Happy Hour in the bar was good, too.
Cons: Poorly constructed building. Heard every foot step from room above (They had small children who ran a lot). I found it tacky that they wanted $6.95/day for WiFi. You expect that at a Motel 6 but not at a Hilton. The $9.95 breakfast fee as well.
7,5 Good
Pros: Cookie were good , room was nicely appointed
Cons: AC unit in room so noisy and loud could not be in room when it was on ... turned it off when in room . Absolutely awful . Will not return . Talked to another guest who had same issue with. AC unit in their room as well.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotels sits back away from the Mill Plain, which makes for a quieter rooms. Fred Meyers and a variety of restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive.
Cons: TVs need to be rescanned. Channels that were listed as being available were either now scrambled (HBO), or were “weak or no signal” (Weather Channel).
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We drove in from Seattle late at night and were looking for a hotel that was less expensive than downtown Portland. The front desk was friendly and treated us to warm cookies. Bed was comfy, everything was clean, shower was hot. Only complaint was that it was a little more expensive than we were used to. Thank you!

Pros: Rooms nicely appointed.
Cons: Only spent one night but all was fine. There was a charge for breakfast but there were lighter items fairly priced.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful and courteous. Room was very nice and clean and plenty of towels. Was well located.
Cons: Was disappointed that I had to pay for wi-if . After paying I could not connect the 3 devices I was allowed and in the morning it would not let me log-in again. I mentioned this to the woman at the front desk & she removed it from my bill.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location.

6,0 Good
Cons: No breakfast included, hotel was not accepting any responsibility for wifi by just mentioning that is is third party error and they can't do anything about it
6,7 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: We booked all amenities, but we were told we do not have WiFi- had to sign up for Hilton honors to get it for free, we also were told we didn’t have free breakfast, but we had it on our reservation. And the breakfast was horrible to boot.

4,0 Okay
Pros: Its location is very convenient if you're making a driving stop between OR and WA. The hotel is right off I-5. It has good size parking lot right infront of the building and parking is included. The beds were comfy and clean. A/C worked fine and silentl
Cons: Our room had a strong cigarette smoke smell. We arrived late at night and were very tired to complain. Breakfast was cheaper than expected. Therefore, the coffee was awful. Breakfast area is so small and was so cramped, made it even more unpleasant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, even remembered my name. My room was clean and comfortable. It price was affordable.
Cons: What I didn't like seems pretty petty: the luggage carriers were located on the other side of the lobby, not to convenient & the entrance sidewalk slopes a little, so the cart rolls.

Cons: I checked in on Friday with no issue left on Saturday morning but later decided to stay another night in Vancouver so I got online booked a room for the night at the same Days Inn I had just checked out of earlier in the day (Saturday) so here it is Saturday evening and I return to hotel to check in and was greeted and by the same person I was greeted my on friday (she was in training and was being supervised and directed by the same manager as the night before) both the front desk agent and the manager that are checking me in on Saturday are the exsact same front desk agent and manager that had checked me in on friday are now telling me that I can not rent a room there because their "policy" is that the name on your ID and the name on your credit card must match exsactly . so I asked when tbat policy came in effect and pointed out that I had stayed there the night before , and that they were actually the same people who had checked me in then and had no problem with the names not being an exsact match on my Drivers license and credit card then so why would it be now? I had stayed at this location of Days Inn 6 times in the past 3 weeks and numerous times prior , and not one time did anyone say a word about the name differences. Just an fyi to the managment at Days Inn....if someone is newly married or recently divorced it takes time to change your name on everything so occasionally the names might not be an exsact match

Cons: The sheets were dirty and the bed spread was also dirty and the use your credit card on record to charge you for breakage, cleaning, etc. so told the clerk she took pictures and said she would notify manager and they would talk to me. However the manager was never available that day or next but I was told they were there. Also mentioned other problems to the day clerk when I checked out and when he could finally look up from his computer he shrugged and said have a nice day, he could have cared less.

Pros: Large rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast.

5,0 Okay
Pros: The pool, nothing else
Cons: Trash all around outside, tall weeds everywhere. Marijuana smell in hallway. Doors to outside, say only exit, but do not lock when you go out. Leaving it so anyone can enter. I will never stay here again, did not feel safe

Pros: Spacious room, good water pressure, liked fridge and microwave

Cons: Peeling wallpaper in bathroom; stained carpet; someone had stolen the artwork and it had not been replaced; air conditioner broken (the grate on the top was literally broken) .
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Great location
Cons: The hotel was run down. The mattresses were old, carpets were dingy, pool looked dirty. The tub drain was clogged and took forever to drain. We had to shower in a pool of dirty bath water... it was disgusting. Disappointing.

Pros: Booked this hotel rm w/trepidation considering some of the reviews given this location. We did an inspection prior to paying for the room & were satisfied with the standard of cleanness. The staff in the main office were pleasant and efficient.
Cons: Only complaints we might have were the size of the bath towels provided and the intermittent wi-fi signal. Housekeeping was fairly slow to attend to our room as well.
