Pros: An excellent hotel with a very helpful and professional staff. The location was perfect for easily getting to some of Frankfurt's major sights which was helpful given our short stay. We enjoyed the first floor bar for wine and dinner.

Pros: An excellent hotel with a very helpful and professional staff. The location was perfect for easily getting to some of Frankfurt's major sights which was helpful given our short stay. We enjoyed the first floor bar for wine and dinner.

Pros: I love the location, it is actually walk-able within the shopping zone, downtown and the Old Opera House. The Hotel itself is directly in front of one station. We walk through the westend neighborhood and it has a lot of small gem to be discovered. The room is the best part. We have had a great night there and I am sure that we will come back again!

Cons: I love everything. Just only one small glitch is the check in time, we have to wait for about 10 minutes or a little longer than we expect because the room is not ready yet. But it was not a long wait and the staff are friendly. Overall I can not, at all, find any fault throughout out stay.

Cons: The room made an impression that it had been used a lot (the bath, the floor), the bed was a bit too high for me, a bit too cold and a little bit loud (air conditioning - ventilation). And I had one spider net in the bathroom.

Pros: The room was as requested as he had asked for a bathroom with a bathtub. We like the decor, the tall mirror, the bed is very comfortable. We had indicated that we were staying for our anniversary but we did not anticipate the nice surprise the hotel had on the dressing table for us when we came back in the early evening to the room before going out. Thanks a lot for the nice message and little treat!

The staff were so helpful. They found us a room and assured us we would not be charged twice for our stay.

Cons: Bad noise insulation; you can hear every word spoken in the hallways or the next room, and when doors close it is a huge bang that wakes you up every time without fail. Also the hotel is too dark (--understand that this is part of the design scheme, but it is just too dim). Also the fuzzy carpeting in the rooms (and sometimes even on walls) is bound to trap germs and bacteria and you just don't want to walk on it with bare feet. Slippers are not provided.

Taxi to the city centre is 12-15 minutes and about €12 and going to the Messe (our reason for the trip) took 20-30 minutes (Walking and one change). Nice, but next time we'll stay closer to the Messe and restaurants. Only big dissapointment is breakfast - very average and cost €18

Our room was overlooking a building site which start making a lot of noise at 08.00 in the morning, no body told us about it, and it was very disturbing. If we knew we wouldn’t have taken the room, as we arrived late evening we couldn’t know about it.

Cons: If we are going to get picky: 1) There were enough wall sockets in my room, just not so well distributed. I would have liked to be able to connect my mobile, my laptop, the standing lamp and the electric kettle while sitting on the desk. This was not possible because there was only one wall socket there (next to the tv) :P 2) The cleanliness all around was remarkable. Unfortunately the sink expelled a light sewage odour (noticeable only while washing my teeth). 3) The cleanliness was, as I said, remarkably. I just would like to point out that washing the textiles every day has a high "hydric-footprint" and I thought the code was "textile on the floor, textile to be cleaned". As I hanged everything, it surprised me that they were taken away and replaced for fresh ones. The next days I hanged the "please do not disturb" sign on the door (although I appreciate the once-a-day cleaning service), and I still got fresh towels hanging from the door daily. 4) This is just a matter of taste: the room was too dark for me, in the sense of the colouring of the walls (mainly dark brown). I do not know if there are rooms with lighter colors.

The receptionist couldn’t change anything... at least if your a real hospitality women you can change everything to satisfy your customers! I just payed. 2nd night there was a party at the bar and we had a lot of noise on the 2nd floor... till 02:00.

Cons: They have an affiliation with a gym but there was a hug disconnect between the front desk staff and the gym itself; make sure you get a clear breakdown of what is offered. \
The biggest complaint though, was someone on my team had booked a room through an online vendor, but her father died the night before; when she tried to cancel, they weren't willing to work with her because of the online booking; they wanted to charge her for 90% of the room. Short-sighted of them, as we stay there for a trade show every year. Best they could offer was a credit for a few months. I tried to talk to them but they were not willing to negotiate. Too bad, as we liked the place but probably won't stay there again.

Cons: Location was around the red light district and in a dark alleyway. It wasn't very comfortable to walk at night. Room was much smaller than we had expected. There was a blackout when we were checking out in the early morning, we had to pack our bags & shower with cold water and in the dark. We had to wait check out because the computer had no electricity. I know a blackout is out of their control, but based on my experience usually hotels have an emergency power supply in cases like these so guest are not disturbed during blackouts.

Cons: The hotel was located in a sketchy neighborhood. I was underwhelmed by the dark, small lobby and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I wasn't greeted when I arrived and the staff seemed too busy to care. I took photos of the hotel for my social media and the rugs were stained and the cool JR art installation was marred by the fabric hanging over the door not draped properly which ruins the photo. The rugs in the lobby were stained and there was no room service. The entrance doors to our room (2nd floor) opened out instead of in which made bringing our luggage in difficult. Our room had an unpleasant odor and the pillows had stains on them. I hit my head on the hard headboard of our bed several times.

Cons: in some of my visits ,prices seem to be exaggerated, while in some other visits,prices would be resonable.The main issue is that they should pay some more attention to the breakfast offered in the 21st.floor.

Pros: Breakfast was nice... location for travel is good but the surroundings are not great.. however once you are in the hostel its ok.. But you will not feel safe to roam around outside in the late evenings... The main station is just 3-4 min walk away.. Overall if you are travelling for work and alone... Perfect place to stay...

Pros: The location of the hostel is a blessing and curse: the good news is that it is located super close the hbf which makes for the perfect spot for a quick 1 night stay. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was better than most 'included breakfast' at this price point with variety of cheeses, meats, breads, cereal and jam. Check out at 12 was perfect for sleeping in.

Pros: Other than being in the red light district (with a bunch of drug addicts on the streets), the hostel is in an great location. It is easy to find from the train station, and it is easy to walk everywhere that was needed (or to the metro to go further afield). Their breakfast was also fantastic! Available until noon, and all you can eat, I regularly spent my mornings relaxing and enjoying the common area. My private room was very comfortable. Security is good.

Pros: Hostel is really nice place to stay. Friendly staff, help when you need it, and they stay 24/7 at a place, so it's so easy to solve issues if there any. Good breakfast. It's near the main train station, so it's so easy to travel to the nearest cities during a long stay at Frankfurt.

Cons: The location of the hostel was in the hostel of one of the most destitute areas I’ve seen in Germany: full of crack-heads, brothels, and countless transient men prowling around. Completely caught me off guard as I was searching for the entrance. The linens used on the blanket are absolutely of the lowest quality, stiff as a board. There was limited kitchenware and no forks available in the cooking area. Which takes me to thing that kind of shocked me the most: the large storage lockers available for rent (all downstairs in the cooking area) are old dog cages??? Looked absolutely unprofessional and I cannot believe the hostel manager is ok with such a presentation..

Cons: As I mentioned, it is in an area that is full of drug addicts, however, as it is close to the main train station, most of the other hostels are also in this area, and they secure the doors.

Cons: It is the red light district so it’s kind of expected, but just a bit more full on than expected..The drugs & shady dealers were everywhere, sloppy Heroin addicts everywhere, even pissing on scooters & front window of the hostel during the night. A man smoking a crack pipe at the front door of the hostel.. I didn’t mind it that much but made my partner feel very comfortable.. she didnt want to smoke out the front due to people asking for money, cigarettes or to buy drugs or just harassing her in general. Like I said, it didn’t really bother me & there’s not much the hostel can really do about it.. just maybe for solo female travellers - find a bit of a nicer area. If you’re not fussed, great hostel for a short stay

Cons: It can be a little intimidating to navigate the immediate neighborhood for the first time. But like anything, context helps. Take the Free Alternative Walking Tour that they recommend, it provides valuable and interesting context for the history of the neighborhood.

Cons: I had to check out almost immediately after 1 night because of the travel ban to the US. I get it that I reserved at a non-refundable rate for 4 nights. I do think the pandemic covid-19 is a valid reason to at least work with hotel guests on room charges. Other hotels do. You should reconsider.

Pros: The hotel was located right outside the central station so easy to hop o a train and go elsewhere quickly.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs moving against your body as you moved on the bed. There were no curtains on the window so the street lights would shine into the room in the middle of the night. Carpet was stained in multiple places and the tub had cracked tiles/mold. I can put up with a lot and it wasn't the worst stay in the world, but I definitely wouldn't stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone else.

Cons: It's a little surprising that this is a 4-star hotel. The room was quite small and the general atmosphere/ decor nothing special. A couple of large cockroaches went running through the bathroom.

Cons: The hotel was very bad, as the bed sheets haven't changed at all during my whole stay. Rooms are very tight. The level of Cleanliness was very low. I cannot recommend it to anyone. I was shocked that Savoy hotel reaches this level :(
