A hard day made easier by Enterprise...Pros:I was traveling for business and had a flight canceled from La Guardia to Lexington, KY. I had to arrive in Lexington the following day, but the closest I could get to Lexington was Cincinnati. While the flight experience was frustrating, the ease of obtaining the rental car with Enterprise made the long day quite a bit better. The shuttle driver took me immediately from the terminal straight to the door, and I was out on the road in no time. Also, their cost was very reasonable for a one-way trip with a drop-off in a different city. Thanks, Enterprise!Reviewed Jan 24 2017

Excellent car rental experiencePros:This was the best car rental experience I've ever had, bar none. I shop online for rental cars based on price. What I'm used to when I rent a car from other companies is that, if I reserved a standard size car, I will actually get intermediate, or if I reserve intermediate, I will actually get compact. I get down-graded. When I got to Enterprise, the rep asked me what kind of car I'd like! I got a 2015 VW Passat, and was very happy with it. They were friendly and efficient at checking the car out, and when checking back in, it took less than five minutes. I was charged exactly what the reservation was for - exactly what I was expecting, but the service I received was much better than I was expecting. I highly recommend Enterprise.Reviewed Dec 16 2015

Rude and Condescending Customer Service Rep - womePros:car was clean and no line at service counterCons:I entered business with two other men from airport shuttle. There were three clerks and we were all served immediately. However, me, the woman, was the only one asked about purchasing Enterprise Insurance. I declined and explained that I had purchased the insurance offered through Kayak. On hearing this, the clerk puffed out his chest and went into a rant, chastising the "silly helpless woman" in front of the 4 other men in the small room..."well, you know if there is any damage to the car, we will come after you. And, good luck recovering from the other insurance company." It was humiliating and condescending and unwelcomed.Reviewed Jun 2 2016

Going the extra milePros:I had booked my rental thru kyak/ priceline due to the being within my budget. During the reservation process I selected a drop off location due again to my budget...without knowing this location does not have a shuttle to the airport. While at the Hebron pickup location, I mentioned the need to rent a taxi to get us to the airport. I would like to recognize Jeff for the outstanding way in which he quickly and effortlessly made the change to allow us to drop off the vehicle at the Atlanta airport, and saving us money in the process. BEWARE! Prices are more than double what is advertPros:Everything besides the $266.33 price hike was fine. Just your average car rental place.Cons:When I made the reservation through Kayak this is what my conformation receipt looked like for a 7 day rental, with the per day costs on the left and the totals on the right: SUV - Toyota RAV4 or similar $32.73 $196.38 Taxes, Fees and Surcharges $11.83 $70.98 Rental Car Total $44.56 $267.36 But when we got to Enterprise after a long day of traveling, the person who helped us (get ripped off that is) said the total came to $533.89. When I asked why the discrepancy, as we had not made an upgrade, nor asked for anything extra, they said that's just what it is. No offering to explain why the price hike or anything. In my book that is not ok. $266.33 is not a reasonable amount to be off on. Nothing in the booking process said anything about additional fees or taxes being charged once there. If it did it wasn't anywhere you could readily find it. So either Kayak needs to get it together and give us the actual price of the rental, or Enterprise needs to honor the reservation price that have been made. If we would have known we definitely would have made different arrangements.Reviewed Nov 21 2015
