I traveled with African American companions. The rooms were already checked in but the man at the front desk decided to make my friends check in again even though they already had keys. I walked up to to this happening and the man at the front desk quickly changed his story and said he was getting their name in case they got locked out. Pros (+) The food options were excellent.
Cons (-) We had a very strange smell in our room and had to change rooms. The hotel did not offer any kind of discount for the inconvenience and it was our 10th anniversary, which they were aware of. I would expect more out of a hotel with its standards and reputation.
