Pros: the constant helpfulness and charm of all the staff - they were always there to help. in fact we arrived one day early so had 4 nights and they were able to accommodate us - paid extra and had a deluxe room which was great.

Pros: Very pleasant, relaxing 3 night stay. Very quiet, as our room was located at the back of the hotel, away from the main road. (There were not may other guests staying while we were there.) The location is good if you have a car, both for the city centre and other places of interest close to Caen. Very comfortable clean room, lovely bathroom, excellent shower. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was more than adequate and beautifully presented although limited in variety and probably not worth 15 euros - ours was included in the price. We had lunch in the restaurant on one day and it was a indeed a memorable experience! Definitely worth the money.

Pros: The location of this hotel is very convenient. The bathroom was big, bigger than the room which seemed a bit strange.

Pros: I liked that I was able to come and go from Hôtel Des Quatrans even late at night. It was also nice to be able to leave my luggage in the lobby before check-in and after check-out.

Pros: It was located in the heart of Caen, only a minutes walk from the centre.

Pros: The hotel is centrally located, with restaurants and shopping close by. We used Caen as a stopover on our way south, and we found the location and town itself convenient. Free parking was a nice perk, as the town seemed quite heavily congested. Rooms were spartan but clean, and beds relatively comfortable. Quite a lot of noise from the bar (we were situated on the ground floor) but this did stop at 10pm. Breakfast buffet small but adequate.

Pros: This was an ideal stay for a one night stop over with the kids (4&6) in the family room.

Pros: Rooms were clean and though small and basic, were comfortable and what we expected for two stars. The shower was good. The associated restaurant next door was superb. The breakfast buffet was, again, basic but nice.

Pros: Ideal location for Central Caen, close to the shops, resturants and nightlife but not so close to interupt the peace and quiet of the hotel, bar was open late and provided a nice atmosphere for us and some wwII vets to have a drink and chat

Pros: Good for staying for a night. Not the worst of the Novotel hotels (comparing to Le Mans at least), but will not stay there next time. Actually do not recommend Caen at all, Rouen is much more interesting.
