This location was offsite from the airport and did not have a shuttle service. The location itself is an auto garage and does not look like the typical budget rental car location. I still have not received my receipt that was supposed to be emailed after returning the vehicle so I’m reserving my full review until I know if I was unnecessarily billed for anything.Reviewed Apr 6 2024

We booked a Ford Edge, ended up with a Hyundai. Yes it’s very similar in size but we own a Ford Edge so that’s what we wanted. Day 2 the notification came up for low tire pressure, ok fine we stopped and put air in. Day 4 we had to have the vehicle jump started, still no idea why. And on our last day on the way to the airport it started overheating… Summary: didn’t get the vehicle we wanted/ordered and ended up with 3 problems with it. And when my husband tried to get them to reduce the price, no budging. Very frustrating, not what you want on vacation.Reviewed Dec 5 2023

We waited well over an hour in the line to get our vehicle. Then when we get up there the person working was very rude be told us to be grateful it wasn’t four hours and we had vehicle because some people wait all day for a vehicle. I said that’s why I reserved a vehicle so it would be ready. Then she charged us extra because my name was on the credit card but my husband was going to be the driver. We had never had this happen any other time we rented a vehicle, just as long as I also had my drivers license with me. Then the car they gave us was blocked by another car. I felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld. At the end they charged us $250 more than what was in the agreement. I still have to call and dispute it, but we only just got back from our travels a few hours ago. I will not use that service again.Reviewed Nov 13 2023

I rented a car for one day ($53). When I returned the car as scheduled before 9PM there were no employees anywhere in the rental car building at Sanford Airport so I left the car in the Budget space by the door and dropped the keys in the return box. I was charged $135 for returning the car late. I called and talked to different representatives for half an hour and they agreed to refund the money, but only ended up refunding $53 so I still got charged $81.Reviewed Nov 9 2023

On our way to pickup the car a budget representative called us and told us that our car was not available due to a broken windshield. They had no other cars the same size and did not help us find other cars in other locations. We spent hours trying to locate a car last minute and we’re unable to. We had to purchase one way plane tickets to go back home and we’re not able to bring things we needed with us.Reviewed Oct 3 2023

There was a roach infestation in the band that we rented and we had to throw out luggage is buy laundry soap wash all our clothes at the Airbnb we say that and also had to buy roach spray it was ridiculous and we spent tons of hours going through our luggage is trying to get rid of the roaches we had a 15 passenger van so there was tons of luggage is that we had to go through we spent hours outside of the budget location in the parking lot have fun literally going through each P article of clothing and transfer It’s into garbage bagsReviewed May 9 2022

Pros:Literally nothing. As soon as I landed (at midnight) I had a message from Budget saying that they didn’t have a car for me and there was nothing they could do. I had to sleep in the airport because it was too late and too expensive to try and get another car. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental, and I’ve had some pretty bad ones.Cons:Everything, literally anything and everything would’ve been better. I’m never using your service again, and will strongly discourage anyone I ever meet from using your service either because of this.Reviewed May 16 2021
