Pros: Staff and location
Cons: The rooms are a little dated compared to their other properties
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing. It far exceeded my expectations. The staff was overly accomodating and always available. The food was perfect!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Many choices - all wonderful
Cons: If I had one complaint, I wish it was more lively in the evening. There was live music every other night, that was it. Nothing for teenagers/young adults to do. Too old for the teen room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was amazing, including everything else.. food was top notch
Cons: I think the resort is doing everything right..
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The service across the board was above and beyond expectations. All of the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help ensure our stay was fantastic.
Cons: Occasionally services would be a bit slower than expected, and before we started using the do not disturb door hanger, we were getting a few too many knocks, but we were able to remedy this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The entire staff was universally excellent and super-friendly. Best pool service of any all-inclusive. Best food. Awesomely-maintained grounds. Three large pools plus a warmer kiddie pool.
Cons: The 8-8:45 pm nightly entertainment was way too loud for my liking, as I'm an early-to-bed, early-to-rise person.
6,3 Good
Pros: The friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff were excellent. The bed was comfortable. Pool staff were excellent. Beach was lovely. Sunsets were amazing.
Cons: We have stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Maya and that was by far a superior property. Facilities here are not as nice. Service in the restaurants was quite poor. Staff would often bring wrong drinks and we would have to constantly ask for refills of all beverages. Very few people in the restaurants when we were there and still lots of confusion. All activities off property were a good distance away so not super convenient to leave to do other things without being gone a whole day. The only “adult” pool is an oversized hot tub that is too hot to spend much time in on warm days. The pebbles used in walkways and stairs around pool as decorative elements are quite painful and dangerous to walk on in bare feet and difficult to avoid.

Cons: Internet does not work and staff was not attentive. hotel changed room when we checked in to a smaller room than we booked (and paid for).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to get away and relax. Spa is awesome!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food you would even want to pay for if it wasn't all inclusive. The service was unbelievable. It also comes included with a beach front property right down the street. It's really quiet and peaceful. We had an amazing time!!!!
7,7 Good
Pros: Boutique nature of resort equates to large availability for cabanas and pool chairs. Food & drink were outstanding. WIFI was great throughout the resort.
Cons: The base room was one of the smallest we have ever had in any hotel; We felt it was necessary to upgrade rooms resulting in added costs we did not plan on.
7,5 Good
Pros: Most of the facilities were really nice. The pool area was excellent and the food was good. The staff was incredibly helpful, particularly because we were celebrating our birthdays. 5-star staff.
Cons: I didn't like the lack of immediate access to the beach. Further, I didn't like the private pool area set up at all. There was no way to access the pool directly from back patio. I also didn't like the fact that it was an all-inclusive yet I was presented with a bill for almost everything. I was never quite sure if something was extra, or not. That was really annoying.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent all around. Impeccable attention to detail. Calm, relaxing, just perfect for a work conference location. Highly recommend it. Would return anytime. Great staff. Love it. Near all. Perfect.
Cons: All great.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful, the place was beautiful, and the food was awesome. We would definitely go back there!
7,9 Good
Pros: Everyone was very friendly
Cons: As they filled up during the week the service tailed off significantly. Only one restaurant but wide mrenu. Also Italian night didn’t have a single Pasta dish on menu ?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Karina, the manager, and the entire staff were truly professional and just wanted us to enjoy our vacation. By the way, definitely don't forget to make it to the Ocean Club, and if you're staying for 5 nights, you'll get to try a restaurant at the Grand Velas; don't miss it!
Cons: having to leave ;-)

Pros: Everything is beautiful, clean, and staff is very service driven. It's a great location with lots to do. Our college and high school kids had a blast.
Cons: The food takes forever.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect for us. This was a very nice place to stay and we got a very good relaxing time.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, clean and well attended. Pool area was nice and beach was nice (staff keeps the beach area groomed).
Cons: Room A/C had to be fixed twice and put out a smell of mildew. By the time we left I had some chest congestion to deal with back home. Should have changed rooms. No true bar in lobby area.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location by the beach, the pool and grounds, restaurant and friendly staff.
Cons: This partners with the time share beside it. If you aren't interested in that don't take a welcome breakfast. You won't be told this is the 1st stop to get you to buy a time share.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Picture of the view from the room I booked was not accurate. We were farthest away from the beach in the main building, not in one of the side buildings closer to the beach as was shown on booking.com. The room was nicely spacious, but felt dark and the air conditioning unit was very loud. Beautiful Lobby that had a wonderful minty aroma and our concierge Tanya was wonderful!
Cons: Evening entertainment and music, there wasn’t any except the pianist in the restaurant in the main building, and he wasn’t very good and played very loudly.
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: The glass shower fell on my boyfriend and refused to change my room at first .. I had to literally start packing in front of them and thats when they moved me to another room ... I also paid for a sea view and was not given one ... this hotel it’s way too overpriced ! And they refused to give me any type of refund .. on the other hand booking.com did give me on there part 15%. Of what I paid .. thank you booking.com . The hotel will be hearing from my lawyer !!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff service , cleaness, food and hotel amenities
Cons: We made the booking back on monday 27/jan, Arrives 3:00pm to make check in and there was no room We were told that reservation people didnt pass the reservation to the hotel We wait 2 hours to get our room (first time in 10 years)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and responsive. The beach was beautiful, the one bedroom we suite was perfect (w/kitchen). A 30 minute walk to Bucerias, and all of the restaurants was easy. Sister property, the Flamingo, has an excellent gym. The beach massages were truly great. Honestly, our trip was perfect. Keep in mind, the sun is very strong, so take precautions! Also, be careful, in the ocean for sea urchins, jelly fish and rays you might accidentally step on in the shallows. We had no issues, but be careful...
Cons: Nothing. I would visit here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Luxury, quiet, peaceful, secluded, elegant, 5-star, top-drawer, superb, thoughtful service.
Cons: Nothing

Located in Nuevo Vallarta, this beachfront property is next to a golf course and within 1 mi (2 km) of Paradise Plaza Shopping Center, Nuevo Vallarta Beach, and Vallarta Adventures. Nayar Vidanta Golf is 1.4 mi (2.2 km) away.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Entertainment staff was superb. Nice hotel. The resort credits which I thought were a scam were actually true! We swam with dolphins for $79 for the family! We had already booked a zip line through another company before we left and didn’t cancel it but we could’ve saved some money.
Cons: Didn’t like that when I asked for Belvedere vodka (WHICH THEY HAD!) in the only bar they had it the bartenders would act like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to tell one yesterday let me show you where you keep it and he acted like he had no clue
6,0 Good
Pros: The pool and beach were nice
Cons: Food was awful
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I found this all inclusive to be an absolute STEAL! For the room size/comfort, the events, and don’t get me started on the food, it’s hard not to feel like you’re getting over, incredible staff, and beautiful beach set up. If you want to explore downtown PV it’s a little far from the location of Hardrock, but Ubers and car services are always available. Amazing vacation!
Cons: You have to take a bit of a drive to get a taste of local life, but there are so many things to do at the resort that if tourism isn’t your thing, you really don’t have to leave the resort.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, outstanding service delivery, specially in the Ipanema restaurant: Shakira and her team
Cons: I was not surprise for the beach...I expected a most beautiful beach
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great selection of American and Mexican breakfast items. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Entertainment staff was great they kept the pool fun with activities but were great when you just wanted to relax. Loved our time with entertainment staff members Fe Fe, Mi Mi, Jessie, Samarui, Aidair and our favorite waitresses Adrianna and Linda, and bartenders Steve and David. Shows n the outside auditorium were very good. Favorites were the Smash Rock and Michael Jackson shows.
Cons: 1) No wine supplied in the room. If you wanted wine you could call room service but then you had to have it opened as there were no spare wine openers. 2) Pool towels require you to give them a "towel card" this helps keeps people tidy and perhaps cuts don on theft but it is a major pain. You can't grab one on the way to the bathroom. Bathrooms are far from to pool, I think this encourages pool pee. 3) Outside are for non-smokers is not well marked so you cannot sit outside at the sun bar without being in the cancer ward 4) Thursday night band were good musicians but the Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath covers were not for a party, More for a concert. Please thinks of the atmosphere you want to create.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Hotel and rooms are rundown
6,7 Good
Cons: A terrible invasive Indian wedding party. 4 days listening terrible loud music
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Really a amazing hospitality!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very small balcony
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, they came and cleaned the room daily.
Cons: The food was not that great, but the snacks and pizza was delicious. I guess I really liked the Brazilian buffet better
5,7 Okay
Pros: Spa was great!
Cons: Did not feel posh like a Hard Rock should feel. Food was pretty terrible from all the restaurants. Limited beer offered at all the bars.

Pros: employees were friendly the shows were excellent all employees were always willing to help if need it. room service was great over all love it I had a good time. the food was was delicious . thank you
Cons: drinks were good but I think could it get done better probably was the tequila brand you were were using I usually drink tequila sunrise I usually use patron silver beer was good you had different kind .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was awesome with a great view of the ocean. All of the staff worked very hard to make sure we had a good time. There was lots to do. The food was great. I did a massage at the spa and it was awesome.
Cons: They will try to make you sit through a timeshare presentation in exchange for discounts on excursions. The beach is not the white sand beach. There were lots of rocks so if you want to swim in the ocean take some water shoes
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food was delish!
Cons: Everything was nice and clean. The staff was one point. The ambiance and drinks were great!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The service of the bar and wait staff was top notch. The food was excellent at most locations, tepenyaki was average at best. Swim up rooms were awesome. Some people complained about not getting sun in the mornings but really that's exactly what you wanted
Cons: staff was pushy about time share and when they gave us a free tour it was just a money grab, they send you to their hand picked vendors that charge high prices, keep you all day long and force you to eat at a spendy seafood rest.(bad) which made us sick.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. Very helpful and staying in the preferred was well worth it
9,6 Excellent
Pros: All inclusive
Cons: Lighting in room too dim
7,5 Good
Pros: The view from various locations around the hotel. The rooms.
Cons: There is no indication on any literature or any social media that this hotel goes on lockdown at 11pm every night, 20-30 people could be enjoying the evening dancing and socialising and suddenly it is turned off because it is 11pm, this is an adult hotel and we have paid a lot of money to stay here and to be entertained, 11pm is not acceptable, they have a casino with many slot machines that I have never seen being used that could be turned into a pleasant nightclub area and casino moved elsewhere
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and being all inclusive. Beautiful Resort.
Cons: Guests come out early and put towels and small object on beach/pool chairs to reserve them and most are not used, but left us without chair to enjoy. Resort does not have any policy on time limit.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and great food.
Cons: Top shelf liquor was poorly stocked. Hotel ran out of a lot of other alcoholic options also. Don't put premium liquor on your sight just as a means to get tourist.
10,0 Excellent
Pros:  the supervisor and the manager were awesome. Resort location is awesome serving staff and restaurants were awesome. Ordering room service was easy breezy!
Cons: Room smell like mildew/ mold  at front desk wasn’t friendly or accommodating. Her attitude was very dry.
6,0 Good
Pros: The food was very good as were all the staff.
Cons: We were there last year and thought the rooms were much better than this trip. We moved rooms from the 2nd floor to the 6th. 2nd floor room had holes in the curtains, counter tops need polishing, no maid service until late pm. , no regular coffee.
7,0 Good
Cons: We had a passport go missing out of our room. Had to miss our flight and had to book an additional night and new flights home costing us over an additional $1300 as well as losing our original flight home we already paid for. + thousnads at the casino:(

Nestled on the beach, this Puerto Vallarta property is just steps from International Convention Center and Marina Vallarta. Bay of Banderas and Cruise Ship Terminal are also within 3 mi (5 km).
6,7 Good
Pros: It was clean and staff are friendly
Cons: I was offer to upgrade to a room with a view which I appreciated but they didn’t tell me that I was located right next to stairs and an elevator. It was very noise with people walking and it echoed hard to sleep, also I was right next the staff lien closet and you can always hear them talking and opening the door and very early times of the morning. Our sleep was interrupted many times throughout our stay there. Just honk he should have told me. I paid extra to move and I probably won’t have if I knew the location of the room.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are lovely and the staff is great. The access to the beach is a real bonus. Senate at all three restaurants and the food was a cut above what I had initially expected, especially the breakfasts. The rooms are a little Spartan, but honestly very comfortable and extremely clean.
Cons: There is no real bar. People hang at the pool all day and they serve drinks in the lobby and restaurants at night, but there isn't a regular bar anywhere on property. Given the amount of alcohol the staff has to run and get (even delivering to rooms) it would seem everyone would be happier with a place that had some music To hang out in. Likely they view the lobby this way, but the ambiance is wrong. It's my only complaint.
6,3 Good
Cons: room location was one of the worst on the property, simply because it was not reserved directly through the hotel.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Big and heated pools. Good sized rooms. And good drinks(not watered down).
Cons: Only 2 restaurants with very limited menu. And some of the items would finish very early leaving rests of the guests with even less choices. There were only 4-5 deserts in lunch and dinner. Nightly shows were pathetic and very few guests attended those. Kids club activities were non-existent.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Nice staff decent food
Cons: Very old, rooms definitely need to be renovated I could hear other rooms moving furniture
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Service is excellent
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds, suites nice w/ great views, pools, bars. Restaurants were good for breakfast, lunch and dinner - open all day long. Friendly staff. Cooking classes, karaoke, dancing, etc.
Cons: Only issue we had was that the Mariachi band played in the lobby until 2am, which included trumpets playing loudly. Some guests took that party to their rooms after causing a disturbance. We called front desk and resort compensated us with a couple of $90 spa certificates (hour massage) as well as champagne and choc-covered strawberries. Appreciated that.
7,9 Good
Cons: No showers by the pools.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service was great. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious The Place was very clean. This may sound silly but the public bathrooms had scents oils that made them smell very nice and they were always clean. We had a fabulous time.
Cons: The bathrooms were a little far from the beach area.

9,1 Excellent
Pros: This is a visually beautiful property! We love the lush green grounds, the clean and fairly quiet pools, the large rooms and views. My husband really enjoys the workout facility.
Cons: We don't like the rising fees. "Tips" for maid and bell service are now included, and the Westin will charge a US$15 per day "resort fee" starting February 2019. Add 3% hotel tax and the 16% IVA tax that we pay as Mexican residents, and it's not a deal, even at convention rates.
7,1 Good
Pros: All the long serving staff including Angel, Adan, Hugo, Pedro, Veronica and the restaurant staff were great, also beach and gym were nice
Cons: What was once a prestigious resort, is now full of screaming kids, loud drunk vaping adults, also seems like there is a convention happening every day so a quiet breakfast is out of the question, unless you want to hear loud groups of conventioneers laughing and screaming, the 12th floor lounge was removed which was a huge disappointment, old, dark outdated rooms with mould and mildew smell, for the price one would expect updated rooms after all these years, also high pressure time share sales were very annoying, my 7th and last stay there, very sad and disappointing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I stay here for a couple of days every winter. It is a lovely place with good amenities. However the bathroom is dark. It needs better lighting and a general overhaul. Thanks
Cons: See above

Pros: Loved, loved the breakfast!!! Nice amenities.
Cons: When we went to the bar on the 3rd floor there was one guy there that was not very nice. He was an angry worker. I am there on vacation I do not want to run into someone angry. He never smiled. Was mad that we got there at 10:50PM. They closed at 12.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Breakfast buffet very good. Outdoor bar staff was excellent.
Cons: Rooms were dated: layout and bath. Clean w/tiled floors and bath. Furniture outdated. 1st floor restaurant was a dud. Staff left us at 11:00. But for $--- night I can't complain when coupled with the beautiful grounds and great pool.

Pros: Service is exceptional and food is very good. Never a right for chairs or pool side service....one of the best in pvr.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place for a quiet getaway and relax. Food was great quality and value for money on the all-inclusive option is very good.
Cons: It's a relatively small resort which is aimed for relax and family vacation, not for party or young people.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, property well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back.
Cons: Construction noise was a bit loud at times, did not let it ruin our trip.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It was a short bus ride to the Old town area. Variety of pools and hot tub very nice. Good gym and spa too. Staff very friendly. Was the shoulder season and not hard to find a chair by the pool or at dinner.
Cons: Wasn't much of a beach area and waves too big to do much activity in the water. Neighbour resort had very loud entertainment at times of the day and evening.
6,8 Good
Pros: The beach was nice. The Italian Restaurant was adults only. We ate there all 3 nights of our stay. The staff was great and the resort very clean, as we have mostly found to be true in Mexico.
Cons: We were there celebrating our 35th anniversary. This was not the place for a tranquil vacation. There were lots of children and families. They bused in people on Saturday, and picked them up on Sunday. The resort was very crowded, particularly the pool. The food was mostly buffets. The snack bar served a greasy hamburger that smelled great and tasted even better.

Pros: Staff was very nice. The facilities were clean. It did not promise anything it did not deliver.
Cons: The price was the same as the 5-star hotels 25 minutes south. My reason for staying at Villa Premier was that is was close into town. But the surrounding area kind of sucked. And Puerto Vallarta is not a super nice place and I would suggest to stay in a higher end place and venture out once a day into town.

Pros: The staff and quality of food was very good.
Cons: The deluxe room was small and not laided out well. The food was better than average, not enough selection.

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: When I reserved the hotel I was not informed that the pool and spa area was closed for renovations. Also the beach area has crocodile that made the beach area unsafe.

Pros: The trip desk staff were super friendly and helpful, sorting us things like a whale watching tour as well as a private car to tour places like San Pancho, Sayadita etc. The breakfast buffet was good and the gym well equipped but crowded
Cons: Check out took 20 mins which for an international hotel is a joke. The check out staff were not helpful, suggesting I didn’t give them enough time?! Surely with computers these things should be instantaneous

Pros: Beautiful construction of the pool and facilities. Very cheerful staff. Easy access to the loungers. Well maintained. Good internet. Nice breakfast.
Cons: We had to endure a timeshare sales pitch. Some restaurants were timeshare guests only until 8pm

Cons: Loud music in the beach and pool area

Pros: The staff was amazing as always. One small touch that made a us smile was when the staff spoke to you they always put their hand on their heart. Nice touch!

Pros: The staff was so kind and amazing. They always greeted with a smile. The property itself was super well kept. Always people around to help and maintain the cleanliness of the place. The rooms were so comfortable :)
7,1 Good
Pros: Beautiful atmosphere, large room, good food.
Cons: They sneakily roped us into a VERY unpleasant time share presentation and were pretty rude about it. We only stayed for 1 night so they basically soured our entire opinion of the place. You also need to take a shuttle and go through a bunch of annoying stairs or elevators just to get from your room to the main lobby.
7,1 Good
Pros: It’s beautiful. The pool staff is attentive and friendly.
Cons: The bathroom was missing your basic amenities i.e cotton swabs, shower cap etc Whenever the room was cleaned it wasn’t swept properly and extra towels were inconsistent.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The view was amazing and the staff were friendly. There’s a tram that provides free shuttle around the properties.
Cons: Housekeeping didn’t come for 3 days to refill our water or throw out garbage, and that led to ants in our room. We got 3 turn down services during our one week stay and towards the end they just never bothered coming. Also we are up on the 7th floor and there is construction behind the building so it’s loud. In addition, we could hear the housekeepers talking and laughing loudly from the inside of our room in the morning, when we were still sleeping. That happened multiple times. The location of the hotel is about 10 min ride to the Malecon $150 pesos each way for taxi.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I hardly ever take the time to review places I've stayed, but I felt the need to share my opinion on this one... My fiance and I recently stayed 3 nights in the honeymoon suite, and we couldn't have been happier! The room (and the entire resort) was gorgeous, the food and drinks were great, and the staff were all sooo friendly and accommodating. It was luxury & relaxation at its finest, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone! We are missing it already :)

Pros: Staff was unconditional, very friendly and respectful. The pools were clean at all times as well as the whole property. The room was always clean and well maintained Their food is really good. Must try the japanese restaurant The beach is beautiful try snorkeling in there they have very cute fish.
Cons: Sometimes, the trolley took forever. And if you are planning on leaving the property early before the trolley starts operating try to walk to the lobby because when we had our excursion to marrietas islands we called for a ride to the lobby ( we were in tower 5) and they never made it. We had to walk to the lobby and then wait for a taxi in the lobby. We ended up being late to the excursion meeting time. But were lucky enough to get in to the boat.

Pros: The pools, location, staff kindness, the suite, etc.
Cons: Suggestions: Breakfast - please do not play stupid english pop christmas songs all the time and do introduce some bread and salty pastry: every piece of pastry had a layer of sugar, it was completely unnatural to us, not to mention very unhealthy. Pool food service - while everyone was very nice, the service is slow, and sometimes they forget the simplest things. Our view was non-existent, but it was still nice.

Pros: Suite was large and with a nice view and the location was good.
Cons: I received an email from the Elite Personal Concierge for the Villa Group. Thought it was a great personal touch until I realized it was her job to upsell as many services as possible. That cost me almost $700 for VIP transportation from the airport to the hotel and 3 days of all-inclusive food and drinks. The VIP transportation ($38) was about 3 times the cost of a taxi ($13) and was the equivalent of someone walking us to a curb where they called for a car (equivalent of a taxi) which drove us to the hotel. BTW…she made sure we saw he $5 tip someone had given her…($5 Half the cost of what a taxi would have cost us). The all-inclusive was not so “ALL” either! Any decent alcohol was excluded and the restaurants menus were limited to the point where we actually went to the hotel next door to have a steak dinner which we got a 40% discount on top of the cost of all-inclusive. The service at the restaurants was good, but the food not so good. Unfortunately the worst was to come. While at the steakhouse next door We were robbed! When we left our room for dinner my wife counted her cash, put it in a small purse and was going to bring it with her for tips, etc. We locked everything else in the safe and she regretfully left the purse behind. When we returned she counted the cash and 2- Fifty dollar bills were missing and 9 - singles. They did not take all of her cash, just enough that some people would not have noticed. That wasn’t the worst part…it was what happened after. We went downstairs and reported the theft. We spoke to 3 different people, two of which were with security. They said they had cameras in the halls and would know who used electronic keys to open the door to our room. They said they would investigate and let us know what they found in the morning. It was late so we went upstairs and prepared for bed. A few minutes later two other people from security w

Cons: It took us 5 hours to check in. At 5 pm we insisted on them giving us another room. That should not happen. It ruined our first day.

Pros: Cleanliness and tranquility. All the amenities
Cons: Some of its staff were not very friendly
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the pool! The beach was beautiful and our suite was AMAZING. Beautiful views, friendly front desk, and overall friendly staff.
Cons: A few older patrons did get a little irritated with our 3 year old playing in the pool. Note that this is a family resort and there will be kids playing in the pool, especially in the children's pool. They state that you can't bring your own food and beverage to the pool and the beach, but service was a little slow. We brought ours any way, as you can't expect kids not to have snacks.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Beach access. Modern like-new facility. Great staff, very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Extra for internet (very slow, not worth paying); limited restaurants; difficult to arrange airport transportation prior to arrival (website submission unresponsive).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our family had a really FANTASTIC 7 day visit recently. We had everybody from a toddler to grandmas and grandpas in our group. We could not have asked for a better experience. The weather, ocean, accommodations, service, food and entertainment were just top notch! The pool was perfect for the 2 year old, as well as the rest of us, and the beach was perfect!
Cons: The only possible negative (and not really too much of an issue) is all the time share sales activities.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The pool area
Cons: Plates and cutlery were filthy. Food at the restaurant wasn't great. My credit card has been charged additional extras for prices not originally quoted.

Pros: The resort exceeded my expectations. It was clean, the food was great, the drinks were great, the pool was awesome. I was a little hesitant with it not being adults only, but the kids have their own pool and play area. We will be back.

Pros: Service is fantastic
Cons: A lot of kids checked in on our third day there....that was only downside.

Pros: Staff treats you well, rooms with nice views.
Cons: Service is very slow, they take 2 hours to get towels or anything you you need. They can definitely improve on service. Also they guy who was supposed to introduce us to services or things to do in the resort was more interested in selling romantic dinner and spa time. Had to question him directly to find out things to do in the resort.

Pros: The location
Cons: on day one of our trip we started getting bites in our room so the hotel changed our room and told us the would credit us back , the moved us to a even worse room , the phone was broken , no robes, and dirt smeared marked walls,, and bed bugs

Pros: Overall the service was amazing, Pools & Lobby area is beautiful!! The food was amazing at all the restaurants we ate for being an all-inclusive resort.
Cons: Rooms Definitely need to be upgraded! To me it was more like a three star resort felt like room was a little dirty we had to change rooms when we got there because first room we got was not clean. We got our room almost at 6 PM instead of 3 PM
1,0 Poor
Pros: Food was okay. Staff was just horrible. They are scammers and will harass you for money the minute you arrive.
Cons: RUN AWAY, FAR AWAY WHILE YOU CAN. This place is HORRIBLE. DO NOT ever have or plan a wedding here or even book a stay here. They harass you for money from the minute you arrive until the second you leave! I have been to a TON of resorts and I have NEVER in my life experienced such terrible customer service from everyone at this resort. My husband and I came for my sister's wedding and they were treated HORRIBLY by staff! I don't even know where to begin. The wedding planner PATRICIA is TERRIBLE! She scammed them into signing a fee when they were DRUNK on their wedding day. Then they tried charging guests for day and night passes over $100 each, even though the wedding guests were already paid for in the wedding fee! I can't even make this up. We had over 100 wedding guests and they treated every single guest horribly. They left a guest outside at 4am and told them to pay $80 if they wanted to come inside. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I have so much more to say and add to the horrid experiences we all had here, but I think this alone says it all. DO NOT book here. There are so many there beautiful resorts with delicious food to go to in the area. Again, DO NOT book this scam!

Pros: Food was not good
Cons: Your staff is awful, disrespectful, no English, not polite, not helpful, I can go on and on, this is most terrible experience I have ever encountered. They need to be retrained. I hope the manager that knows English will read this and keep this in mind. Unprofessional people!!!!

Pros: Both of our servers were the best! Always made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we felt special. The location is perfect, staff very friendly, and you cannot beat the atmosphere
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent, especially for all inclusive standards. Lots of variety and all prepared well. Room, facilitites cleanliness etc all excellent. Spa also excellent. Kids Club also excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly, very attentive to needs of children.
Cons: Too much use of plastic bottles for water. Guests should be offered a re-usable water bottle that can be re-filled at water stations. Vendors on the beach - I don't mind vendors, and I live in Mexico City so I understand the hustle BUT having them standing there all day completely ruins the view (they are blocking all the view from the beach sun beds), and does not provide a good atmosphere for relaxing on the beach.

Pros: Location! Close to the airport, close to the Malecon, and perfect stretch of beach for walking. We are return guests and it’s wonderful when the staff all say “Welcome home”. The hotel “Friendly” is very aptly named.
Cons: Some of its “small cozy hotel” feel has been lost with recent renovations to the property.

Pros: They had food available at all hours of the day! Loved the pool area overlooking the beach. The room was nice and spacious. Nice resort with a great location on the beach.
Cons: The room needed more outlets. Was only able to charge my phone in the restroom. They could do with changing the music sometimes in the pool area.

Pros: Food was good!
Cons: Food got real repetitive!!! Same thing everyday
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Little to complain about from the easy and quick checkin where Gladys easily met our requests to the hugs from the staff who remembered us from last year. The food was varied and fresh... leg of lamb, turkey, shrimp cocktail, ham. Activities from the pool foam party, to the lobby karoke made us feel like teenagers again. The clientele were loyal long standing clients who made one feel very welcome. The infinity pool and hot tub is one if a kind in beach proximity. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Nothing to complain about except maybe the low toilets. Clean, quiet yet so much fun. Mobility challenged friendly.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Taps in sink 2106 leak
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly, helpful, thoughtful and try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is always an activity going on and the staff are very active in the activities. It is a smaller resort so the staff all get to know who you are relativity quickly. It really feels like you are staying with a family. The food is good, nothing spectacular and it doesn't change much. We did not go to the spa so we can't say anything about that. The staff puts on much of the entertainment and they do quite well and because you know them personally it makes the shows seem infinitely better.
Cons: We paid by the night and it was the same price as a 4 star. Our room was big and clean. More than adequate but it is an older building in a hot humid climate so its pretty much what you would expect. It is also a smaller resort so groups can have a big influence on your stay. If you are expecting 4 or 5 star hotel rooms and food you may be disappointed. Honestly you have more fun here. If you are trying to stay away from kids it is challenging depending on groups staying.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Friendly is an older style resort but is well maintained and very clean. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. Nice beach and pool areas with a good variety of activities and entertainment. Food in the buffet restaurants was generally good and nice options in the a la carte restaurants Azul and Fida. Location convenient to old town and marina with short taxi ride or bus options. We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: No complaints at all.

Cons: We booked a king room and received a twin room looking onto the ventilation system.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices , nice fresh fruit, friendly and courteous server and cooks.
Cons: The first room we were in had had a ceiling leak and the room smelt very musty and poorly vented. We mentioned this to the concierge and he was able to move us to a different room that was much better.

Pros: Clean and modern. Relaxing terrace with nice view of cathedral area. Good breakfast with made to order omelettes.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the more quiet side of the river, with the Malecon just 2 blocks south.
Cons: My only real complaint is that neither my phone or laptop would connect to their WiFi due to weak security, and my phone couldn’t pick up cellular from my room. This may not be a problem for most but I write a daily travel blog when I’m on the road so it was a real challenge for me. I either wrote from my phone during breakfast on the top floor, or went to a friend’s house where both devices connected easily.

Pros: The staff and service at this hotel were above and beyond expectations. The location is perfect being that it is steps away from everything that Viejo Vallarta offers and even closer to the malecon and the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Like one of the reviewers noted, I too was placed in a room that faced the air conditioning units in the courtyard. The best outcome for this situation is that I know I would have been moved to a better room if I had asked. But I was only there one night so didn't bother.

Pros: Booked at a great price of $50. Not sure I would stay at their published price of 1200 peosos. A bit expensive. Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet, very friendly staff, great location, but no character.

Pros: The location is great, bus and taxis at hand and a mall just in front. The beach is very clean and a lot of chairs to relax. The swimming pool very nice, warm and clean. All the rooms with view and the beds comfortable. The food good. People very attentive.
Cons: The drinks too weak, and the music too loud all day. Couldn’t relax on the beach.

Pros: View from the balcony, variety of food and friendliness of the stuff
6,0 Good
Pros: The food was excellent at any of the restaurants. The nonstop drinks were also tasty.
Cons: I didn’t like being hounded to go to the timeshare/vacation club/ fiesta rewards presentations. Some of the staff were relentless. The rooms are noisey since the flooring is marble everything echoes even if the noise is not right outside your room. During my stay two different people entered my room while I was either sleeping or getting dressed. They seriously wouldn’t leave you alone. They take your luggage up to your room but only so they can ask you the same questions over and over again to try and get you to do the timeshare/vacation club/fiesta rewards demo.

Pros: Splendid location. Wonderful staff at the beach/pool/restaurant. Excellent food. Really. Immaculately clean and green environment. Great atmosphere. Love the room.
Cons: Only that some front desk staff is sometimes not very flexible or friendly tone to discuss customer request. We got accommodated in the end but it was not very smooth.

Pros: Really enjoyed our stay at the Fiesta Americana. The view from the room was excellent. The facilities were very nice and the staff was the best. A special thanks to hotel employee
Cons: None.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good but nothing I have not had in the past staying at hotels that offer breakfast. the second day we got a day bed which was so worth the money! it was so relaxing laying out by the beach with the breeze and some sun hitting your face that we fell asleep. Andres who was bringing us drinks also gave us some proseco and chocolate covered strawberries, that was so nice of him. on Wednesday nights they have the grill night and the food was aaaamazing! the servers were all very kind and courteous. When we were sitting in our balcony (get the one facing the ocean, it's worth it!) we would see the workers cleaning the place and working very hard. I felt safe at their premises, they had guards walking around. Everyone from the time we checked in to the time we left were so helpful and attentive. kudos to this resort for their workers!
Cons: When I finally got to my room (mind you i'm OVERLY clean) we opened our patio door to stare out at the beach which was fabulous! but then i placed something on the bed and saw dust flying up in the air which was gross and when i removed the top sheet, there was sand on my bed. I brought two small blankets from home so I slept on top of my small blankets. It is nothing major but for someone like me, I started to feel like things were dirty/dusty like the coffee maker, the remote control... the rooms need to be updated, like there was a light bulb hanging from the ceiling, the thermostat controls were very very old.
7,9 Good
Pros: This was my husband and I’s first all-inclusive vacation we have taken. We enjoyed the restaurant and cleaning staff immensely - they were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The space was beautiful, food was delicious, and drinks were aplenty. The staff around the pool and beach worked tirelessly to ensure we had refills continuously. Our room was spotless after every cleaning.
Cons: We are in our 20s and would have enjoyed more night life - we went to bed fairly early each night because the place sort of “shut down” after 9PM. The staff at the front desk weren’t exactly unpleasant, but could have been a bit more helpful. We also did the Sonne club and because the “available” chairs were not marked, we were requested to move our seats twice - something that could have been rectified with a simple sign stating you must reserve certain chairs. Overall, though, the pros outweighed the cons.

Cons: beach there is not the greatest for swimming. too much pressure on staff to have guests review them and mention their names.... not fair to the great, hard-working staff.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Pool Swimming in the ocean Breakfast
Cons: Our 2 dinners were terrible. Risotto was hard and it was supposed to come with all types Of seafood, and it had little to nothing. This was the Italian ristorante. The Mexican was absolutely terrible. The shredded chicken tasted horrible and the steak was tough and not good. Wine Red & White was sub par. We spent way tooooo much money and the food was very disappointing. This is why we left.
7,4 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet with omelet bar was great every morning. The coffee shop moved out of the gift shop our last day which was a great improvement. The service in adult lounge was always great and well as the food there. The staff for the most part was very friendly. The restaurant wait staff, the desk personnel, the entrance greeters, the cleaning staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and their salute.
Cons: The hours for the adult lounge were very restrictive. The swim bar closed at 6pm each night which was crazy. I experienced extremely slow service twice while I was there and each of times we left the venue. One of the instances was reported to staff who corrected it the next day, the food on the special nights was lacking flavor and didn’t seem all that special. The overall quality of the food was lacking when you compare it to the Grand Fiesta.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great, especially the director of activities.
Cons: The beach are was small, but there was plenty if chairs near the beach and pool.

Pros: Pool was great. The Mexican night and Western night were fabulous. The beach was very clean, great to walk and have a morning run. The beach is 5 miles long great to see the sun set and watch all the sail boats go out. Also you have interested little birds walking along the surf on some days. The Iguanas were also quite interesting to watch.
Cons: The food at night in Tulum restaurant was not that great. Fruit was good but everything else had no flavor or was the same night after night. Very disappointing. The food at the off site restaurants was far better. Also, we were not TIME SHARE CLIENTS and were treated very poorly by some of the staff. The staff servicing us looked to see if we were all inclusive customers and as we were they tended to ignore our requests for food and drinks, including ignoring us standing beside them, quite rude.
7,1 Good
Pros: Adult pool was nice and quiet! Property is on the beach with several buildings adjacent off the beach (No view.) Mall is right next door with grocery store, good restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Volleyball court is a joke — up against the sidewalk with palapas surrounding it and it’s very small when considering a standard size court! Beach around palapas has lots of buried trash — stepped on a rusty screw one afternoon. The party pool was loud all day long with DJ’s constantly talking. Our room floor was always sandy...my pet peeve!

Pros: Everything was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The beach was fantastic with an abundant supply of palapas, soft sand, and the waves were great for boogie boarding. Loved that boogie boards, stand up paddleboards and kayaks were available to borrow for free. We didnt do an all inclusive package but found the beach food and drinks we purchased to be reasonable and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mexican party theme night - food and entertainment were fantastic!
Cons: The beds were small and quite firm.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach and the grounds are immaculate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great resort for family as lots to entertain kids. We were travelling with two young grandchildren - they loved the sandy beach and the pools. The all inclusive was good but wouldn’t do again - not our style to eat at buffets as we don’t eat that much nor drink that much to make it worthwhile. The two bedroom suite we had in the COBA building was very nice in a quiet area along the marina. Room is a little outdated but clean, comfy with all the necessities including a large deck facing the lap pool. A special thank you to your concierge Flor as she answered all of our questions prior to our stay. She arranged our transportation to and from the resort and she arranged for us to stay in the COBA building as it was quieter and it is a non-smoking building. Also had a nice hot tub on the marina side of the building where you could relax. After reading some of the reviews we were a little skeptical about staying at Paradise Village but our family was totally surprised and impressed with the resort and the staff. Thank you for a great vacation.
Cons: The only negative we experienced was the additional charge of $50.00 USD for our granddaughter’s lost all inclusive bracelet. She is only 4 years old and the bracelet fell off as it was too big/loose. Need a better way of identifying young children in the all inclusive package. Perhaps the fact that parents are in the all inclusive plan should be enough to confirm that their young children are included without having to wear a bracelet.

Pros: This was our first time to PV. We had the all inclusive. The buffet was good. There was a good variety to choose from. a lot of healthy chooses. The beach food was really good too. excellent service. There was so much to do if you wanted. Kayaking tours, bike tours, tennis, take part in the pool activities, walk the beautiful beach. Or chose to do nothing at all.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The private beach was immaculate and the staff were friendly and very competent. A few were amazing and increased our over all impression by their caring and responsiveness. It was clean and the guys who drove the golf carts around the property were the best! On the surface the entire property was fantastic.
Cons: 1.The buffet was so boring and bland we frequently paid to go elsewhere; I think they count on it. 2. Because I booked an all-inclusive the hotel wanted to charge me hundreds of USD for the 3 guests that wanted to visit us once. "Oh but they can stay until ten o'clock" she said. "No" I said, "they have to leave in 2 1/2 hours!" They said we would not have been charged if we weren't on an all-inclusive. WON'T DO NON-INCLUSIVE AGAIN. Administrative nightmare to find out about getting our guests admitted: go to front desk, be told to go to their vacation rental desk, line up again when told to go to concierge. Concierge said "yes" but then told us we had to start over at the front desk -- all those lines! We took a water taxi and went to our friends hotel instead. 3. I also didn't like that my bed had four inches of foam pad missing from each side of my bed. The mattress pad was even smaller leaving me very little space to sleep on. I complained -- no result.

Pros: Everyone working there was very friendly, considerate and very helpful with every concern we had. We were alway greeted with smiles and Buenos Dias. Thanks to them there was an atmosphere of fun and relaxation from the moment we arrived until we left.
Cons: We thought the food was not outstanding. We did not have the all-inclusive package and therefore dined out a lot. That meant taking taxis as the resort is a fair distance from from downtown PV
