Good job Las palmas
Ocean front, adult pool, fantastic breakfasts and the best staff anywhere!
Very hard beds, but they provide a foamy mattress toppers upon request.
Overall good but nothing amazing
Checkin at 3pm is a real pain when you arrive early in the morning after a long flight. Internet connection not great
Quaint, Mexican charm
Could use a little updating
Great distance from airport and other touristic places. Affordable and clean. Nice attentive staff as well as cleaning personnel.
Water stoped running in middle of shower, they were having trouble with something. Wished I would of gotten notify before taking one. As soon as I arrived employees sit you down and try to convince you into buying trips and coupons to other places.
Being one of the most traditional hotels in the city with 40 years of life and tradition, our visitors have enjoyed our good taste for decades, in keeping with the mysticism and flavor of Puerto Vallarta.Las Palmas by the Sea is proud to be a 100% Mexican Company, founded by Mr. Ernesto Cruz in 1973 on the Las Palmas beach, hence taking the name of this beautiful property with only 12 rooms. In 1974, Mr. Gabriel Igartua stays at the hotel and upon loving it, decides to form a partnership with Mr. Ernesto Cruz to help the property flourish and build 90 more rooms. In 1977, the construction is finished and Mr. Flavio Romero de Velazco, Governor of the State of Jalisco, attends the hotels inauguration. LAS PALMAS BY THE SEA,AN EMBLEM OF PUERTO VALLARTABy 1979, the hotel has 153 rooms and is reopened by architect Roseell de Lama, Secretary of Tourism.Due to the preference and constant desire of tourists to stay at Las Palmas, it was decided to enlarge the hotel to 221 rooms by 1996.In a strange and unfortunate event, 2002 is remembered for suffering the ravages of Hurricane Kenna beating the citys bay and destroying the entire ground floor of the property, but that allowed a new phase to improve the facilities and infrastructure, offering cutting edge service.Currently the hotel has 225 rooms and enjoys constant improvements and renovations which allow us to follow all our visitors taste.
