Pros: Service was excellent! The best I have ever experienced. Real 5 star service from the doorman, front desk, restaurant staff, bar tender, housekeeping, etc., all the employees were extremely courteous, helpful, attentive, and professional.
Hotel is very nicely and tastefully decorated, lots of artwork and fancy walls, ceilings, etc, and our room was very comfortable. They gave us a free upgrade upon check-in (from a deluxe room to a grand deluxe).
Location is perfect - it is right in the middle of town, close to all the attractions, restuarants, and shopping. Yet the inside of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing.
Breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was AMAZING!! Excellent food, lots of choices, and of course excellent service from the staff.
I think it would be OK for kids, but it is probably better suited for adults.
My wife and I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons: We got there late at night and could not get to the street. The stuff is nice and polite. the hotel was too kitchy for us, the price was very high for the value. The room they gave us was very far and noisy from the motors of the a\c. With this cost you would expect more!

Cons: The room could have more confortable sitting like an arm chair for example. The price was a bit over the top. Breakfast could be improved by for example warm croissants and toast instead of cold ones and fresh juices offered as part of the continental menu.

Cons: Rooms were little modest but ok. I had problem only with bathroom- the glass dor at the shower seemed like they would fall apart when opening and closing, and also - it was hard to set up the water (it was either very very hot or cold). This however didn’t influence the overall impression. I would definately come back

Pros: Hotel staff were very courteous towards a couple of special requests, but then when we changed plans, they made the special requests available anyway, which was a very nice touch considering how difficult they were. The room was extremely spacious with a great array of TV channels in English. The WiFi was great, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was enormous. Spotlessly clean and although there wasn't a great view, it was perfect for our stay. The location was sublime, just 2 minutes from the train station, which for tourists is great for day trips to Verona, Modena, Ferrara, Florence and even Rome! It is also just half hour by bus to the airport, which costs €6 per person ans is reliable. All in all, I'd definitely stay again!

Easy to walk into the city center and explore (20 minutes to the two towers). Modern and comfortable hotel room. Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, and we were placed in a smoking room, which we didn't even realize still existed. The room smelled disgusting, and we had to keep the window open to circulate the air...and also to cool us down because the heat setting in the room was unbearable and not adjustable.

Cons: Lacked atmosphere. Some noise from a washingmachine in the night and loud television from the room next door was surprising in a modern building, but I slept well anyway. The shower in the bath with glass panel doors would not be my choice. The price of the minibar was prohibitive and not posted anywhere.

Cons: The booking form does not accurately describe the room. Most is accurate, some irrelevant differences (carpets etc) but it clearly says there is a "coffee machine". Amazingly, there was not even a kettle to boil water for a late night cup of tea and no way of getting some easily. Reception were almost rude and stated that it is "impossible" for the room to have a kettle and disputed the schedule on the booking form. Eventually they sent up a jug and one mug/tea bags etc and then had to bring a second mug. Pretty silly behaviour. All rooms should have a kettle.

Pros: The hotel is prefectly located for visiting Bologna, not far from the city centre, with a cheap parking on the opposite side of the street. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well arranged. Our room was located at the rear of the building and looked over the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca (at the distance), which was a very pleasant view, especially in the evening. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of pastry, and some cheese and ham as well. The coffee was delicious.

This hotel had a great selection of eggs omelets fresh fruit yogurt sandwiches pizza and of course many kinds of croissants!! Te room was spacious and warm there were extra pillows in the wardrobe and the staff was polite and very helpful. They also had treats for the guests at the reception and there is a free parking place to leave ur car but the spaces r limited, maybe for 8 cars. Lovely hotel snd the price we paid very fair! 56 euros ... we ll certainty come back!

Pros: The hotel is prefectly located for visiting Bologna, not far from the city centre, with a cheap parking on the opposite side of the street. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well arranged. Our room was located at the rear of the building and looked over the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca (at the distance), which was a very pleasant view, especially in the evening. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of pastry, and some cheese and ham as well. The coffee was delicious.

Pros: Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Especially compared to other italian hotels who serve you only sweet food for breakfast. This hotel had a great selection of eggs omelets fresh fruit yogurt sandwiches pizza and of course many kinds of croissants!! Te room was spacious and warm there were extra pillows in the wardrobe and the staff was polite and very helpful. They also had treats for the guests at the reception and there is a free parking place to leave ur car but the spaces r limited, maybe for 8 cars. Lovely hotel snd the price we paid very fair! 56 euros ... we ll certainty come back!

Cons: The beds shift easily making a lot of noice. One night the upstairs neighbour wore heels and that was very audible in the room. 17 minute walk to the fiera might be too much for some.

Pros: Loved the quirkiness of the hotel. Individual rooms all decorated differently. Very pleased with the hotel itself but hugely disappointing about the cost for the spa 25 euros per hour!!! Even though we could have paid we chose not to out of principal!!! Location - it’s a little bit out of the centre 10-15min walk. It nice quiet area.

Pros: A not too big hotel conveniently located on a quiet street steps from the train station, which makes it an ideal base for one or two days trips to explore Italy off. It is also a walking distance away from the historical city centre (well, my definition of walking distance is 5 miles, so keep this in mind, though it wasn't really that far). Fantastic staff. To say they were just professional is to say nothing, because they extented services far beyond the call of duty. This is a hotel where I really found home away from home without the least exaggeration. In short, this is the place of my choice should I travel to Bologna again and I hope I will.

And there are very thin walls I could hear other people talking even when they were almos whispering. And heating got last nigh burned I supposed that was burned dust from the inside of heater or AC.

Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom has also huge with a rainforest shower and large bath. There was enough extra room in the bathroom for someone to work out while the rest of the family slept. Breakfast was also delightful. Highly recommend for a stay in Bologna!

Cons: The facilities were old and outdated, it needs a renovation. It wasn't a low budget hotel, so we expected a bit more effort in terms of facilities, linen and furniture (old blankets, carpets, the room had a smell of "old").

Cons: The shower cabin was very small and uncomfortable. The curtain was a bit dirty, maybe a bit of refurbishment would be needed.

Cons: Would have liked a couple of beers or champagne in the fridge. When we arrived there was only one bottle of beer and one bottle of water (for two people) and this was not replaced for the second night.

Cons: Everything inside of the rooms and hallways look really dated. We were supposed to have a room with a view on the garden, instead we had a view at the roof of another building. There is no mirror in the room itself, only one in the bathroom. The bath is really small and cramped which made it annoying to take a shower/bath in it. The hotel did not feel like a 4 star hotel at all, neither did the personnel which seemed unprofessional and rude at times. Walking to the centrum was a little more far than we expected, at least a 15 min walk.
