Great balance of comfort and aesthetics
- The decoration and design of things like the bathrooms
- The room felt a bit crowded and the chair inside it was not very comfortable
Don't blink! You might miss it.
The Grand Hotel Elite was a great find. Excellent value and the staff went the extra mile to make sure the stay was perfect. The location is great, as you are only a 25 minute walk from the city center and close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and stores for shopping.
The only complaint is breakfast. I'm not a fan of cold, runny scrambled eggs. Yet this was standard fare every morning. Definitely not worth the 10 Euros they charge for it.
Was luxurious in the 70s maybe - it's like a trip back in time. Very pleasant nevertheless.
Small, limited and hidden access (lift, entrance) full of stairs. Not for disabled.
Really a nice stay: comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfast, good restaurant, beautiful town.
Distance walking from square Maggiore
Well the room was quite confortable and the breakfast was abundant
The staff was really rude and the service is very poor, even the evening meals are over charged... be ware. the restaurant is almost always closed, I really do not suggest you eat at the hotel. Pizza costs 5euro but its of the packet(Albero) shame for a 4 star hotel
very special atmosphere of old-fashioned apartments, lot of space in rooms and bathroom
breakfast has to be substaintially improved
The staff politely took care of us. The breakfast was good. Convenient to the city center by bus.
Enrance of the car parking is very narrow. The facility was a little old.
Much more than I had seen anywhere else in Europe
the bedrooms were elegant and enormous
Classy older hotel, 4-5 star in it's hey day. Good value for the price. Romm was good size and had a nice view of the city.
Helpfullness in arranging airport transportation. We also liked the layout of our room.
The bed was hard. The restraunt staff was rude and we ended up leaving due to the delay in service. Too much smoking on a non-smoking floor with no hotel enforcement of their policies. Air conditioning was broken and despite two phone calls to front desk and one visit by staff, it was never fixed.
Really friendly and helpful staff - as most people in Bologna seemed to be - and I would be more than happy to return.
